Made some shovels, checked previously prospected area for iron, found a large deposit of copper instead, hunted some bighorn, worked on foundry and kitchen.

Gathered and replanted and sorted crops, made shelves for cellar, sorted and transferred all basket storage to trunk storage.

Poured 120 more nuggets of copper (six items). Created more nails, then made ten large chests. Went out to another local ruins to gather cobblestone. Used cobblestone to start the walls on the rest of the house. Was heading out to farm but ended session due to lag issues.

LOST MORE FOOTAGE: Due to me forgetting to switch from the intro to the game screen on my last sesions, there's about 34 minutes of footage lost forever. During that time, I went out to the area I already prospected in a previous episode, to see if the decent concentration of Hematite that was near the high copper deposit area would increase if I prospected north. Sure enough, it looks promising, though I had used up all my ladders to get out of a hole I had dug under the decent Hematite location. At the end of the lost footage I was just preparing to forge a saw blade and three sets of nails for chests. Also, at the start of the lost footage, I switched to 1.19.3, which led to me restarting the game twice to first let the game remap some areas, and then to use "/worldconfig colorAccurateWorldmap true" to place the overhead map back to natural colors instead of the new default medieval colors. ON TO THE CURRENT FOOTAGE: started out with creating a sawblade and three sets of nails for chests, so I can start replacing baskets with much larger storage. Went back to high Hematite site but found only more copper. On way back home, killed several small animals for their small hides (to make pelts for slings). Checked on crops, many ready to harvest. Got some clay molds ready for more picks and another hammer.

Smelted and poured three bronze picks, gathered horsetail, went hunting, cook four crocks of meals, smelted and poured six copper ingots.

Went back out to Cassiterite site, mined until I found tin, before I was done a bell started blaring so I mined my way out a new way to avoid any drifters or other creatures that were probably lurking in my previous mined hallways. Also thought I heard a scorpion locust buzzing faintly, but managed to get out of the mine via a nearby body of water and made it home. Converted the 22 tin ore to 44 tin nuggets. Used 15 of them with 165 copper nuggets to pour a tin bronze anvil, thereby skipping the 180 copper nuggets wasted by doing a copper anvil first.

Panned through the night, went out to previously discovered site that has very high Cassiterite, tried to mine downward and immediately ran into a HUGE quartz deposit, wasted a huge amount of time trying to find the edge of the deposit, then went back to the surface to dig down from further away, then mined back to the coordinates that the very high concentration was detected, second copper pick was almost used up, had to head back before it got too dark, so the tin expedition was a temporary failure.

Almost finished cellar, created four large clay storage vessels for pit kiln firing, cleared trees for better line-of-sight, mined some more copper.

Converting copper ore to nuggets, panning, sleeping, putting new storage vessels and existing meal crocks in cellar, prospecting for Cassiterite (tin), found a high deposit site of Cassiterite at the end of the episode.

Dug out flooring area for rest of house, transferred old charcoal building gravel to one of the new floors.

Panned until near daylight, smelted copper into six copper pickaxe clay molds, hunted a couple of longhorns, cooked meals, started digging out cellar.

Gathering cobblestone from ruins, panning, gathering more cobblestone, laying cobblestone flooring down, finishing hollowing out cellar.

Killed drifters, cleared brush and flowers and ferns and trees, dug out borders for rest of house.

Grinding flour, more clay pickaxe molds, knapping axe heads, clearing brush and flowers, explore cave, harvest cattails, make more baskets, do some organizing.

Lost footage FAIL!!! Due to my foolish decision to assign the backspace key as an OBS hotkey (to compensate for the F11 fullscreen toggle bug in 1.18.15), I actually managed to lose about 40 minutes of footage, as all that was streaming was the intro over and over. I figured out where I went wrong, but as a fix I went back to 1.18.8, as the rumor is that the F11 bug will be fixed for 1.19. The part that really chafes my backside is it was the most exciting footage to date!!! I killed two bears, avoided another bear and two wolves, and waited out the first temporal storm before heading back home. I almost died when I foolishly opened up a hole in the dirt shelter to look out during the storm, and a drifter took a swipe at me and I lost a third of my health before I sealed it back up. From now on, I will be keeping my feed opened live on my other screen, so I can be sure it's streaming correctly. And no more OBS hot keys.
