Our day starts off as a blank canvas, with many brushes in front of us to choose from. Two such brushes are joy and judgment. In each moment, we choose which brush to use. When we choose to pick up the brush of joy, our canvas becomes an expression of the love that is our true essence and nature. When we choose to pick up the brush of judgment, we reap the darkness that our choice sows. This is not done as a form of punishment, but to help us better understand how our choices are coloring our experiences. Today, let us recall that, in every moment, God’s gift of free will gives us the right and ability to begin anew. In any moment, we can choose joy over judgment and thus peace over pain. Today, if you find yourself aligned with the ego’s judgment-centered mindset, do not put yourself or others down. Instead, use it as an opportunity to practice using free will to align your mind with your loving essence and nature. The life you desire to create is always just a choice away. For example, if you have bought into the ego’s darkness and are supporting its tool of judgment, then you will bring someone into your experience who will help you work through that delusion. The ego’s judgment-centered programs and mindset have no control over you – other than the control that you give to them. Knowing this, when other people judge you, say to yourself what a great man once said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Then simply forgive their misperceptions of you. Let go of their judgments of you — and of your judgments of them for judging you. For what could the false concept of judgment possibly be when God is Love, Truth and All? There can be no opposition to Love which is All. Thus in truth, there can be no such thing as judgment. If in truth there is no such thing as judgment, then what need would you ever have for it or to defend yourself against it? Judgment of self and others is simply a sign of one who has temporarily forgotten their true essence and nature. Today, let us recall that because God is Love and All, judgment, placing itself in opposition to Love, cannot be real or true. This makes judgment illusionary in nature. We enhance or diminish an illusion’s effect on our life by how much we focus on it. Today, when a judgment of self or others pops into our mind and demands to be recognized and fed, we simply decline its request to enter by overlooking or forgiving it. If we feel that we are not yet able to do that, then let us visualize handing our pain and anger over to God, and visualize and feel them dissolving before His mercy and light. Then let us pray for those who have judged us or for those whom we have judged. This awareness helps us better understand the false beliefs that we are holding within that are separating us from the state of peace. Being all One, it is what is within us that we can see projected onto others. Being God’s creations, in truth, all we can ever be is the Love that God is. And peace is an expression of God’s love. The better, more loving and self-loving boundaries you set, the less others will be able to take you for granted. Imagine, equating your life to a dream. During a dream, regardless how real, frustrating or scary it seems, most of us do not realize that we are dreaming. It is only after we awaken from the dream, that we fully realize the illusionary nature and absurdity of the dream. Equally so, in life many times we ‘act’ like someone who deep down inside we know we are not. When in life we live in fear, or when fear’s expressions such as judgment, stress, anger, resentment and hate, seem to consume us, we are actually living unconsciously, asleep within the dream. When in life we choose to be right instead of happy, hold unto resentment instead of freeing ourselves through forgiveness, condemn others instead of have compassion for them, these are all symbols that we are asleep within the dream. Today, let us recall, that feeling lost and confuse, does not mean that there is something wrong with us, or that we are not wise, spiritual or good enough, these feelings are simply symbols that we remain asleep to our true nature. All the experiences within the dream have brought us a this place within our minds, where we now desire to awaken. If you feel anger towards another, you are not actually angry with them, you are angry at ‘your perception’ of them. It is in such a mental state where inner conflict and confusion results and where you will feel unsure and off balance. Enough time spent in such a state will result in increasing levels of anxiety, fear, and internal conflict and chaos. It is by supporting such states with your time, energy and focus that peace will seem more and more difficult to reach or find. We are all One, our truth is loving, compassionate, and forgiving, thus when you are not seeing another in this manner, it is because you are not fully aligning with your highest self. A symbol of what judgment is to forgiveness, pain to peace, and condemnation to compassion. The truth within us is eternal — forever changeless in its perfection. Yet the ego thought it noticed a blink in eternity’s eyes and decided to call it time. Within the illusionary concept of time, we have been programmed to believe that we are something other than God’s eternal loving essence. Having bought into this fairy tale called time, we have also bought into the characters within the fairy tale. Some of these characters go by the names of judgment, anxiousness, anger, resentment, fear, hate and revenge. None of these represent our eternal nature. Today, let us practice recognizing some of the symbols of time and eternity. Time is a symbol of the ego, of the body, of what seems to wither away, die and be no more. Eternity is a symbol of God, the everlasting loving essence that flows through and fuels our souls. Judgment, fear and a desire for separation fuel the ego’s mindset. Peace, joy and union are fueled by love, by the eternal in us. When you are aligning with any of Love’s expressions, you humbly represent God on Earth. God is All, and therefore, the ego’s world is nothing, and so if you are focused on nothing, then yes, loneliness will appeal to you and appear to be real. Today, use the feeling of loneliness, as a personal call from God to you, asking you to return home to Him. If you can start using the feeling of loneliness in such a manner, it will become a way for you to leave a darken mindset and return to being at One with The Light. Today let us try the opposite of what has taken us nowhere we desire to be. Today when the ego calls out for anxiousness and stress, we reverse the ego’s thinking and see them as our personal calls to develop greater trust in God’s plan. When the ego calls out for anger, resentment, and thoughts of revenge, we again reverse the ego’s thinking and see them as our personal calls to practice forgiveness. Your birth was not your beginning, and neither shall your death be your end. As God’s creations, extensions and expressions, we are what He is, and thus if God is eternal, then so to are we. God is Love, and thus this is who we are, this is our eternal essence, and the more we make the conscious effort to align with our eternal essence, the more we will realize that this is truly so. Today, let us make the conscious choice, to begin to overcome the idea of death, by first setting aside the ego’s illusionary old paradigm. Our eternal essence, our true nature, has nothing to do with dust, and so the truth in us will never return to dust. Our eternal loving essence, was long before it chose to be in a physical body, and it will be, long after it chooses to leave it. We need not die, to start reflecting Heaven on Earth. Today, let us recognize, that in every moment, we make the choice, consciously or not, between being a representative of death or of Eternal Life. Let us today, practice becoming aware of some of the symbols that represent death and Eternal Life. Judgment of self and others, frustration, anger, anxiousness, hate, resentment, and revenge, all these are symbols of death, symbols of one who has bought into the ego’s mindset. If the dreamer has a peaceful mind, she will see and interact with more peaceful figures. If the dreamer has a chaotic mind, her figures will appear more chaotic. All the pain, suffering, stress, and anxiety in our minds are caused by our reactions to these figures, figures that we ourselves have helped define. Once the lesson that we are simply reacting to figures in our dreams is recalled, we will forgive and released them from all we thought they did to us. Today, let us not extend the past into the present and thus create a future like our past. Let us no longer allow the ego’s dark or negative thoughts to be given free rein to spoil our day, nor through our focus on them, give them the fuel and power, to take hostage our nights. Those darken and negative thoughts, are now in the past, where they belong, and the past in reality is gone, it is no more. It is only when we drag our past into the present, that we give it permission to rule over us. When this occurs, it is not us who are living our lives, it is our past programmed-self that is living it for us. Today, when the past tries to knock on our door, asking us to judge and condemn ourselves or a brother or sister, let us overlook the ego’s request, and allow God’s unconditional Love to answer. Today, let us practice becoming consciously aware, of when we are experience the eternal gift that is the present moment, or when we are stuck dragging the past into the present. When we are in the present moment, we find ourselves aligned with and experiencing Love’s expressions, such as those of peace, joy, compassion, forgiveness, hope and healing. When we are dragging our past programming into the present moment, we feel judgmental, frustrated, angry, stressed out, worried, resentful, jealous, hateful and revengeful. When you judge something or someone, know that it is not the divine truth in you that is doing so. The divine truth in you is Love, who is God and All. When you judge, you are reacting as you have been programmed by the false or ego-self to react. Being that God is Love and All, there is no place for judgment in the Divine, within All That Is. This is why the truth in you can neither judge yourself nor others. When you find yourself judging, that is your programmed self “acting” as it was taught by the ego to act. Your programmed self only exists in the ego’s illusionary world or fairy tale, where it can only seem to exist in opposition to All. "Why should I continue to carry burdens that don’t belong to me?" Today, let us recall that Love is who we are, came here to be and represent. The physical world is here to show us when we are in or out of alignment, with our loving nature.
