Here, I share the fascinating story of Elroy Jetson, known as the little blond-haired boy with his dog in the sitcom “The Jetsons” who embarked on an intergalactic journey and stumbled upon the timeless wisdom of Epictetus' pupil, Arrian. This encounter led to an extraordinary collaboration between two individuals from different epochs—Elroy, a modern space traveler, and Epictetus, an ancient philosopher.
✔️Elroy Jetson, having lived his life zipping around the galaxy in his Mercedes 2-seater star cruiser, was a stranger to the concept of meditation until he encountered the teachings of Arrian transmitted by Epictetus. These ancient writings fascinated Elroy and opened his eyes to the transformative power of meditation.
✔️Driven by a newfound purpose, Elroy embarked on a journey back in time aiming to bring Epictetus back to Athens, Greece in his present day. However, upon their arrival, they were met with a sight that left Epictetus heartbroken—the city was devoid of its vibrant character, with all the buildings painted in white with blue roofs. The year was 4321.
✔️The fact that climate change had occurred and Athens now rains, has a colder climate and fog didn’t help with Epictetus’ sadness.
✔️However, Elroy knew exactly what to do to help Epictetus with his depressive state, and he knew how to do it well!
✔️Unfortunately, though, Epictetus was invested in flying Elroy’s expensive personal spaceship around to see the changes. So, hiding in the back seat, he pushes the autopilot button.
✔️Useless to say, that self-driving cars haven’t changed much, and Epictetus finds himself driving backward a lot of the time.

✔️Determined to restore color to Athens and eager to learn the art of meditation, Elroy and Epictetus struck a harmonious partnership. Epictetus, the master of meditation, began teaching Elroy the ancient techniques of mindfulness and introspection. In return, Elroy introduced Epictetus to the art of painting, blending their respective worlds into a creative and transformative fusion.
✔️Without hesitation, the best of both of them oozed out to enlighten the other. The best of both of them wanting to help the other forgot their own sadness and by doing so were reprieved of the negative feelings.
