Meet Ben Jitsu - HC #28
Ben says he spent the first 24 years of his life as the poster child for a sedentary lifestyle and poor eating habits. Then, after a multitude of things all hit at the same time, he realized something needed to change.
Now after losing 155 pounds from his heaviest to lightest, putting on muscle through weight lifting, earning a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and becoming a coach for others looking to do what he did, Ben says “these highlights don't touch the little day-to-day improvements that losing weight has brought me.”
We had an honest and insightful conversation about losing weight, getting healthy, and what happens next, while sharing some struggles, lessons learned and tips along the way.

“Do hard things” New Nikki - HC #26
When Nikki Aguayo started her weight loss journey at 730 lb, everything was hard. Faced with a diagnosis of only having a couple months to live due to her obesity. Nikki embraced the motto of doing hard things and has naturally lost 350 lbs on her journey to better health. I find Nikki to be an incredible inspiration. Remember, It's never too late to improve your health and. It’s never too late to do hard things.

Meet Sheppard - HC #25
Heavy conversations are not easy to have. Special thanks to my friend Shepard who was willing to have one with me. Sheppard is a veteran, a father, a gamer, an entrepreneur and a podcaster. He shared a very relatable story about his health journey to date and his plans going forward.
