The former Navy SEAL of the US who claimed to have killed Osama bin Laden in the 2011 Abbottabad operation has been arrested in Texas, The New York Post reported. He had been in Dallas to record a podcast at a cigar lounge. Robert O’Neill, 47, was booked at a jail in Frisco and released later that day on a $3,500 bond. He was charged with a Class A misdemeanour of assault causing bodily injury and a Class C misdemeanour charge of public intoxication. O’Neill was a member of SEAL Team 6 during the 2011 mission in Abbottabad city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and claimed that he had fired the shots that killed Bin Ladin.
