Midsummer (Part One)
The midsummer show was spectacular this year and will be featured in two separate videos (there is so much to see). I really enjoyed the new wide angle/macro lens. I hope you enjoy seeing the garden like never before. Cameras used: Nikon D3300, Canon Vixia HF R500 and my latest addition, a Samsung Galaxy 7 and the new lens. All music provided by my paid subscription to Epidemic Sound. Three Beans, Two Kitties and a Gardener
Harvesting three different varieties of beans, my two kitties wanted to "help" me in the process. I did the canning all by myself while the kittens played. I hope you relax and enjoy a few minutes of gardening fun.
This video was edited using Shotcut software running on Linux. My first two videos were done in Windows 10 but it was tedious and Windows failed miserably so I've been learning all these new programs and operating systems, please excuse the dust. All music was provided by my paid subscription to Epidemic Sound. Jasmine Spring, Our Secret Place and Marygold Spring all songs by Daniel Kaede.

Midsummer Part Two
Everything is blooming and the kitties and I are spending most of our time in the garden, trying to keep up with weeding. I enjoy spending time to just enjoy the flowers and share their beauty with you. Patches and Smudge are up to their usual antics.
Smudge's Kittens
Smudge had her kittens on Mother's Day 2023. They were two weeks old when this was recorded. Mom's name is Smudge and she appears in the beginning with kittens still onboard. Stay tuned for more kitty videos.

Lavender Harvest Day
The lavender is ready to harvest here in northern Michigan around the second week or so in July. We make essential oils with some of the lavender using steam distillation. I also dry the lavender for sachets and culinary uses like Herbs de Provence and Lavender Lemonade (both recipes in the video).
My cats are always supervising me and this time is no exception. Enjoy the video and until next time...

Heaven in MY Garden
In my garden I can find peace amongst the chaos out there in the world. I can enjoy the flowers and my kitties. I learn to live in the present moment, forgetting the past and not worrying about the future. I learn to appreciate each moment God has given me.
My garden project also opened the door for a new form of photography for me, photographing and editing videos. I learned something new in every episode I produced.
I find healing while in my garden and I enjoy the beauty all around me. May you find peace and happiness too, enjoy the video my friends and until next time...
Thank you for watching!
