The Little Mermaid is a 2023 American live-action musical film which is distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. It is a remake of the 1989 Disney animated feature film of the same name, and based on the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. Lin-Manuel Miranda and Marc Platt produces the film.
