A parliamentary resolution passed in Yemen has proscribed both the US and the UK as 'global terrorist networks.' Right, so the US and UK attacks on those Houthi rebels as our media love to call them in Yemen. The implication being they are some kind of dissident people in the country, a militant group at odds with the rightful government of Yemen and well, there is certainly a dispute there, but if you thought nothing could unite the Houthis, the Presidential Leadership Council and the Southern Transitional Council, then the country getting targeted by the US and UK for the actions of the Houthis blockading Israeli shipping just might have done it as the Yemeni parliament in Sana, have just passed a vote declaring the US and the UK, to be global terrorist networks. Let’s see how the like the shoe being on the other foot for once! Right, so this is a truly massive story, the details of which are still only just emerging, so there’s still time for mainstream sources to catch up, but even if they did would they tell it like it is, because this is not good news for the US and the UK. In a groundbreaking move, the Yemeni Parliament has officially declared the governments of the United States and the United Kingdom as “global terrorist networks” under Yemeni law. There’s no denying this has to be in part due to the escalating tensions between the US and UK after they bombed 10 locations in Yemen, killing several Houthis and any denials that this has anything to do with Israel and Gaza from the British government, as they have been trying to convince us is the case, hasn’t cut through at all. We aren’t that stupid. How daft do you think we are to think that the Houthi rebels interfering with Red Sea shipping heading to and from Israel has nothing to do with your attacks on them? Oh but they’re attacking the shipping of other countries as well, we’ve been told. The spiv of a Defence Secretary still going by the name of Grant Shapps has said when asked about fears this will destabilise the region even further: ‘Yes, I know the Houthis are saying that it’s somehow connected, but actually 50 different nations have had their ships attacked, so it quite clearly isn’t actually connected, they have just got into a routine of harassing any international shipping, so the two things are separate. Secondly, we’re spending a huge amount of time, energy, visits, working with the governments throughout the region, throughout the Middle East, to say to them actually it is in no one’s interest and frankly any of the governments are absolutely fed up to the teeth with the Houthis, with the Iranian backed proxy there and elsewhere, who are really causing the instability in that region.’ He really is the political equivalent of a used car salesman that one. 50 different nations having their shipping attacked by the Houthis is it? Well here’s the thing Shappsy, the Houthis didn’t say they were only going to attack Israel’s ships, it is any shipping going to and from Israel, it is an economic blockade. TATA Steel keep threatening job losses over & over until the government steps in, time it took back our steel industry instead. Right, so our steel industry is once more taking a clobbering as TATA Steel are set to make 2,800 people in Port Talbot redundant, but what has made this story all the more angering is that for years and years TATA have threatened the government with closure of the Port Talbot plant, the lifeblood of Port Talbot for years unless they’ve coughed up subsidies to the company and the Tories have duly obliged on repeated occasions over the last 14 years of their abhorrent reign, but with Labour having allowed the Indian conglomerate to buy the plant in 2007. Both are to blame, but then New Labour were a bunch of Tories, as is it’s reincarnation under Keir Starmer now. Starmer of course last year, you might remember, made a big thing about steel being made for warships by British Steel and by that you might be thinking that we still have some semblance of a steel industry, but actually British Steel, based in Scunthorpe, make steel plate, do not make steel section for shipbuilding, and are actually owned by the Chinese. Our entire steel industry, which so much of our other industries rely on, our national defence relies on, is beholden to foreign corporations to make our steel for us and as TATA are showing, the threat of packing up and leaving works to get money out of the government to keep it going. It is a matter of national interest and national security that we renationalise our steel industry, we’re a global laughing stock over this and what makes the world laugh even harder, is that be it Sunak or Starmer, they’ll sell the industry again to another foreign body. Right, so let’s start with a bit of context for our steel industry here, how we got into this mess, because it leads us into the situation our steel industry now finds itself in. Now British Steel was one of many public assets not nailed down that the Tory government of Margaret Thatcher flogged off and in the case of British Steel this happened in 1988, by which point the industry, under government control had doubled production since Thatcher came to power in 1979 and was turning a profit, which, being a nationalised service, was cash to be sunk back into delivering an even better service in the national interest, and was costing us all less to produce. Naturally, the Tories felt shareholders should get that money instead and sold it, but all very sneakily, because what they did with British Steel was very similar to what they did with our water companies, which was to change the British Steel Corporation, the nationalised industry, into British Steel plc, a private company and all assets, good and chattels were transferred to this and then along came the investors. The trouble with private companies is that they can be bought and sold, taken over and come 1999, British Steel plc ceased to exist as it merged with a Dutch Company which I cannot pronounce and am not going to attempt to, but once the merger went through it all became the much more easy to pronounce Corus Group. Keir Starmer's position on Palestinian statehood seems to depend on whether he has a political fire to put out. Right, so just days after saying that Labour will not recognise the existence of a Palestinian state unless it is OK with Israel first, Keir Starmer has, as he always does when the wind blows in face, or in this case public opinion on such matters blows up in his face, completely U-turned on this, now saying Palestinian statehood is the inherent right of the Palestinian people. Did you suddenly realise you were losing votes over this ridiculous stance? Did someone with some discernible legal ability, something Starmer seems to sorely lack despite being the former Director of Public Prosecutions suddenly inform you that there was no basis for such thinking in international law and was actually in violation of human rights? You were a human rights barrister right? Or have you some kind of split personality disorder that sees you swing from one dishonest mass of imbecile enthusiasms to another position of paralysing stupidity within a couple of days? He has all the integrity of an overdunked rich tea biscuit. It’s a bit of an ironyt that a man so widely disliked by so many people switches from what he thinks is one populist position to another, but it just goes to show that he actually stands for nothing and will say or do whatever it takes to get himself into power, precisely why he should never get anywhere near it. Right, so Keir Starmer has now switched from refusing to recognising a Palestinian state unless Israel supports it, granting powers to Israel over the land and people they occupy and have occupied illegally for decades that they neither deserve, not should have, in full on Zionist without equivocation mode, to seeing that view go down like a cup of cold sick with the nation, not to mention many members of his party. This has all come out in an interview with ITV news, where he said: ‘The comments from Prime Minister Netanyahu are unacceptable and they’re wrong. Palestinian statehood is not in the gift of a neighbour, it’s the inalienable right of the Palestinian people. It’s also the only way to a secure settlement and a secure future. But they’re wrong, they’re unacceptable. A Labour government would work with international partners to that two state solution, a safe and secure Israel, alongside a viable Palestinian state.’ Just days ago, he was saying that he would only recognise a Palestinian state if Israel agreed to it, formally binning his party’s decade long position of recognising a Palestinian state should it come to power. He literally binned this as Labour official Party policy last Tuesday! So what has changed since last Tuesday that could warrant this full u-turn on this issue then? Israel are still bombing Gaza, innocent people are still dying, still being denied aid, still have their basic rights denied to them, nothing happening in Gaza has changed to force Starmer into a total retreat, seemingly, we are taking his word for this here, so there are no guarantees he means anything at all by any of this, but he clearly wants us to think as much. Israel will be back in the dock of the Hague next month as Indonesia and Slovenia, bring their own case against them! Right, so Israel is going to be dragged back to the International Court of Justice in a completely separate case from the one they are currently involved in with South Africa, and on completely separate charges. I’d commented when covering the South African litigation that in their case, they had only taken charges back to October 7th and that that left a large amount of scope for another nation or nations to possibly come in and go back further and indeed that is exactly what has happened. Indonesia is the nation dragging Netanyahu and Co back to the Hague, or planning to at this point, the case is still being put together, we’re very early doors with this news, but their intention is to bring a This also makes Indonesia the first Muslim country to take Israel to court, which is also significant and on a certain level entirely apt. They are also not doing it alone, their case being supported by Slovenia, making this the first time a European nation will be involved in a lawsuit versus Israel and there’s another case in the offing aside from this one too! There is a growing international consensus that it is way past time this Western backed Zionist project called Israel was held accountable for it’s actions finally. Right, so as we all await a decision by the International Court of Justice regarding the provisional order requested by South Africa, demanding amongst other things an immediate ceasefire, a couple of other countries plan on keeping the ICJ busy with Israel for a little while longer. Indonesia, supported by Slovenia, are building a case against Israel that will effectively build on that which South Africa have brought, in that they’re going back before the events of October 7th, a lot further. Indonesia will effectively be building a case against Israel for the last 75 years of occupation and genocide since the Nakba of 1948. That is a lot of work and they don’t have a lot of time to get it all pulled together, they will be presenting their case to the ICJ on February 19th, so a month’s time basically. The Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi said of this case: ‘International law must be upheld. The right of the Palestinian people to self-determination must be respected. Israel’s occupation of Palestine, which has lasted for more than 70 years, will not erase the right of the Palestinian people to independence…Israel’s invalid actions must be stopped, and there needs to be accountability for the violations of the law that have occurred. Countries must cease their support for Israel. A recent by-election loss for Keir Starmer's Labour implies that both Muslim AND Jewish demographics are abandoning the party. Right, so Keir Starmer’s Labour, despite headline polling figures implying he’s on course for a record breaking super majority all very much despite the fact he is about as about as personally popular amongst the general public as a bag of cement gone hard, is, behind the scenes, still losing councillors and still losing council by-elections that follow. One in particular should cause Labour real cause for concern, because a council by-election in one of the safest Labour constituencies in the country, just went to the Tories by a landslide and there is no ignoring the fact that amongst all the factors involved, the large Muslim and Jewish population resident in this area evidently walked away from Labour. People often say you can’t compare local election and general election voting intention and results, but religious divides tend to supercede that thinking. If people of a certain faith feel you are against them, or doing them a disservice, they won’t vote for you full stop. How badly could this picture be replicated around the country towards Keir Starmer and his position on Israel and Gaza, if he’s losing seats like this one? Right, so OK, this is a council by-election result, but it has been awful for Labour as a massive swing to the Tories has seen it lost and there’s no ignoring the potential impact the large Muslim and Jewish demographic there could have had in this result. We’re in Hackney, Hackney Borough Council and Cazenove Ward, which lies in the constituency of Hackney North and Stoke Newington, the constituency of Diane Abbott. Abbott is an MP who suffers an enormous amount of abuse, but her seat is safe as houses, she has a majority of more than 33,000, it is solid Labour territory, and yet still Starmer has overseen a loss here. Abbott as many will know was suspended from the party over a poorly worded tweet. As a clearly popular local MP, as the first female black MP ever, her place in history is assured, you can imagine such a well known and high profile Labour MP suspended on pretty weak charges, she submitted the wrong draft of a letter, hurriedly and publicly apologised for it and still got the Corbyn treatment, tell me that’s not factional. So this could be part of the story here, but there’s a larger element here, given that 15% of Cazenove Ward are Muslim and another 40% are Jewish. The majority of voters then. Here’s the result, we’d better look at the numbers first. First and foremost, the Tories took over half the vote, 53.7% on a turnout that although some sources are saying was high, it was actually down by 7.2%, just 32% turnout. In 2018 for example, turnout was over 48%, in 2022 it was 39%. Labour lost over 13% of their vote, the Lib Dem vote appears to haver collapsed to the Tories and there’s a reason for that, which I’ll come to, the Greens didn’t have a bad showing all other things considered. Middle Eastern tensions continue to increase as Iran seize a US linked oil tanker, but is this action at all to do with Israel? Right, so Iran has just captured a US oil tanker and if you listen to Western media you’d think Iran did this to deliberately escalate tensions in the region and, well, there might be an element of that of course, but the trouble with that reasoning is that Iran have done this under the jurisdiction of a court order, so the capture of this vessel is completely legal! Now the US might complain and kick off and find fault over this, they may choose to not recognise the order that allowed the Iranian Navy to take this vessel into custody, but given the stunt they pulled last year, with this same vessel, they might not want to complain too loudly. Right, so this story made me smile in a wry kind of way, because if there’s anything that will get America wailing quickly and loudly, it’s taking oil away from them. The Middle East is oil rich, so much of what we’re seeing today happening out there, Gaza and Israel, even that reputedly has it’s links to oil, a large oilfield off the Gazan coat, that they are prevented from accessing, but this story from just over a week ago now has flown largely under the radar, which, when you consider it involves oil, is a little surprising. So what’s the story then Damo? Well, this is a story of a court order certainly, oil definitely, theft definitively and some revenge mixed with a bit of Middle Eastern intervention following US and UK attacks on those Iranian backed Houthis in Yemen, quite possibly. The ship in question, an oil tanker that was en route to Turkey, is the Marshall Islands registered St Nikolas and its capture by Iran on January 11th, amidst attacks on the Houthis in Yemen, coinciding with those bombing attacks by the US and UK last week has led to accusations of this being Iran sticking its beak in where it shouldn’t, but there’s more to it than that. You see last year, this same ship, though under a different name, the Suez Rajan, was captured by the US under an alleged sanctions enforcement operation, however what the US did, was take the tanker back to Texas, offloaded the 800,000 barrels of Iranian crude oil and kept it! So what have Iran done? Obtained a judicial order to seize the very same vessel, having left Iraq carrying crude oil from there bound for Turkey, the ship now renamed St Nikolas, and have taken it back to Iranian ports! And I have to say I do love how Iranian media choose to tell this story! The Farsnews Agency, the news outlet for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, so bear that in mind, have described capturing the St Nikolas like this: ‘The Iranian Navy said in a statement that the Suez Rajan oil tanker had stolen the oil cargo belonging to Tehran under the guidance of the United States and transferred it to an American port. Back in April 2023, Washington illegally seized a vessel carrying Tehran’s oil under the guise of “a sanctions-enforcement operation". The Tories are rolling out 'fake doctors' in the form of physician's associates to get around doctor shortages and cut NHS budgets. Right, so how many of you still have an NHS dentist I wonder? Any of you? Well how do you fancy that being the future for seeing a doctor of a GP? Well it just got passed into law and you probably didn’t hear a damn thing about it. We know there is a chronic shortage of doctors and other health professionals, we know it takes years to train them and yet the Tories have said they can pretty much magic them up and solve the problem, but their solving the problem is to inflict medically untrained people into the role doctors were doing and this is so incredibly dangerous, the fact it is going barely reported at all is a travesty, but considering the solutions all involve someone making money as well, this should be seen for what it is and called for what it is – the role of the doctor is being scrapped to suit big business and certainly not to provide us with an operational NHS actually staffed my medically trained professionals. Right, so what’s happened then Damo? Well what we have here is the exposure of the Tories masterplan to solve the doctors crisis whilst still selling the NHS off to vested interests, by creating new roles for medically untrained people, but they’ll make you think they are doctors even though they aren’t. What the Tories have just done is give oversight to their newly created roles of PA’s and AA’s – nothing to do with Personal Assistants or Alcoholics Anonymous, they are actually competent and useful – in this case the abbreviations stand for Physician’s Associate and Anaesthetist Associate – you can basically think of them as fake doctors and fake anaesthetists, so would you want to see one if you were admitted to hospital? There are also Nursing Associates out there too. The word associate will become synonymous with not trained. These roles are already in existence but to make you think they are legitimate, oversight for them, via backdoor legislation, has been foisted onto the General Medical Council, the GMC as far as their registration goes. The GMC is for fully trained doctors only, not for non medical staff, but by legislating otherwise, the Tories are pulling a fast one. The roles have only recently come into existence, this latest move is more about fooling the general public into thinking they’ll be seeing someone medically trained when they aren’t, but already there have been 2 deaths linked to PA’s, one where an embolism got mistakenly diagnosed as a calf strain and another where a serious heart condition got put down to being a panic attack. There will be more deaths that follow and this is intentional, because when we need more doctors, when we know there is a shortage, when many are retiring, the training still isn’t happening. In the case of GPs, 6000 properly, medically trained doctors were held back from taking such roles, so that PA’s can fill them instead, who are cheaper. After agreeing with his war cabinet to negotiate for more hostage releases from Hamas, Netanyahu just changed his mind. Right, so there are two goals according to Israel in their ongoing genocide of Gaza – dismantling the capabilities of Hamas and rescue their hostages. Benjamin Netanyahu has basically chosen taking out Hamas over the rescue of Israeli hostages still held by Hamas, because news has emerged that he’s scuppered a hostage deal for his own ends. It's not gone down well, given his coalition government that is keeping him in power doesn’t just consist of hard right fanatics who want Gaza for themselves and the Palestinians cast out, but also has more moderate elements appalled that the hostages are apparently of less value to Netanyahu than dealing with Hamas is. Of course what has made matters even more sticky for Netanyahu is that he did all of this behind his own cabinets back too… Right, so Benjamin Netanyahu is right now managing to upset absolutely everyone he can’t afford to in his insane pursuit of Hamas, which by his own actions, deeds more than words of course, actions always speak louder after all, as that now appears to supercede to rescue of the hostages that were taken by Hamas, which the people of Israel rightly want prioritised, their safety and wellbeing should be foremost in the minds of people who purport to be civilised and as much as you or I might balk at the use of that word in association with Benjamin Netanyahu, he still sees himself that way. But he’s not done that, or at least it depends on which media outlet you look at covering this story as to what exactly he’s done here. It’s not worth bothering with British media, because they’ve ignored it, but the Jerusalem Post, a right wing Israeli paper has claimed Netanyahu has delayed a new Gaza hostage deal, Haaretz, another Israeli paper which was recently threatened with closure because it has consistently held Netanyahu to account for much of his doings, has said the hostage deal is taking a back seat because of Netanyahu’s calculations and Turkish outlet Anadolu Agency have gone with Netanyahu rejects a hostage deal, though in their case they claim to be repeating what has been said by Israeli media outlet Channel 13. Such is the wonderful world of media headlines, but once you dig in ,you find the bits that all three outlets have in common, what they are all saying in their own way and ultimately it spells trouble for Netanyahu if his calculations here, hostages being used as pawns in his machinations, don’t pay off. The crux of the matter is that there were plans for a new round of hostage release negotiations laid out, had been agreed by Netanyahu’s coalition government and then Netanyahu decided all by himself to delay, or backtrack, or scrap, depending on which paper you read and how you choose to look at it. Ultimately it all amounts to the same thing, in that he has taken a unilateral decision without consulting his ragtag cobbled together coalition to leave Israeli hostages where they are. The Al Nasser Medical Complex in southern Gaza, is the Strip's last functional hospital and Israel is now on its doorstep... Right, so the Nasser Hospital in Southern Gaza, which has been the largest still functioning medical facility in the whole of Gaza is in the line of fire right now as Israel claim, as always, that Hamas are using the facility as a base of operations, their broken record of an excuse to justify their bombing of civilian targets. We’ve been so saturated with the sheer scale of atrocity, that I fear there’s a certain amount of anaesthetising to the scale of the devastation going on in Gaza still, and what I mean by that is that when October 7th came around and we started to see social media fill with video and stories of hospitals and churches being hit, we were up in arms, we were incredulous, we were unbelieving that this was intentional. And yet here we are now, Gaza’s healthcare system all but wiped out now, medical aid being held up, being denied access, accusations of Hamas stealing it, while there also being documented evidence of anesthetics being taken out of kits so that operations are being conducted without it. Amputations without anaesthetic, sometimes on kids and that has been intentionally engineered and so now, when I talk of being anaesthetised ourselves to what is happening, we are no less shocked, but we are also no longer surprised, surprise has turned to anger and disgust at the state of Israel and all of those supporting them, of the fact the media is failing utterly in its reportage of this and when it comes to Nasser Hospital, most of what we know right now, is via an Instagram feed, from a media commentator in the hospital, fully dressed in press livery, reporting on the situation she’s caught up in and doesn’t expect to survive. That takes some guts. Right, so the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, in the South of Gaza, where of course the Israeli government and the Israeli Defence Force have directed Gazan citizens to go for their own safety, before subsequently turning their attention on them, because Hamas, that word less a description of Gazan resistance and more a symbol of Israeli excuses and despite the atrocity committed by Hamas on October 7th I have no problem describing the Hamas excuse of Israel as such, because their response to that day has been so blatantly disproportionate. Nasser Hospital is basically the last line of healthcare in the whole of Gaza now. If Israel want to rapidly increase the rate at which innocent Gazans suffer and die, then rendering Nasser inoperable would basically do it. It’s against international law for Israel to do this, to target civilian infrastructure like hospitals, yet it has gone on with impunity. Overnight, tanks have closed in on Nasser amidst massive airstrikes. As we’ve seen in the past, people gather at the hospital to seek shelter from this, even though the hospital itself is a target. This I reiterate, was supposed to be a safe area Israel directed the people of Gaza to go, when they forcibly moved them, a war crime in itself, from the north of Gaza. Iran have issued a warning to the US and UK that they 'should not tie themselves to Netanyahu's destiny' by siding with Israel. Right, so those Iran backed Houthis in Yemen, did you know they were Iran backed by the way? I don’t think our media mentions it nearly enough! Well, they have been such a nuisance to global shipping cough cough Israel’s shipping and economy cough cough that the US and UK went ahead and bombed them back in defence of the genocide. How dare Yemen try and impose sanctions to stop Israel killing civilians in Gaza, such is the madness of Western intervention, but of course all this has done is get the backs up of those Iranian backers, one of the most powerful nations in the Middle East, an Arab nation, appalled at what Israel is doing in Gaza and not by any means letting the fact Israel are very much Western backed pass them by, even if our media choose to repeatedly not say that, when covering the ongoing situation in the Middle East. It’s also not going to go down any better by way of Genocide Joe redesignating the Houthis as a terrorist organisation, because people already do not see them as such, and also because it was Biden that lifted that designation from them in 2021. So Iran have decided to send the West a message now, both in words and in deeds. Right, so, the attack on the Houthis in Yemen was never going to be ignored by their backers in Iran, those same backers that make ongoing attacks against Yemen pointless, because for as long as Iran keep funding and supplying the Houthis, they’ll keep on fighting, because backing down isn’t in their nature. The futility of everything the West is doing in the Middle East right, now, attacking Yemen and still supporting Israel to the bitter end makes the entire situation all the more ridiculous when Israel ending its siege of Gaza will mean the Houthis stop their attacks on shipping too. But no. By attacking Yemen US and UK shipping is now a target and it has meant Iran has become more involved itself. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard have launched attacks on sites in Iraq and Syria which they have claimed to be linked to the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad. Iraq have kicked off about this as you imagine they might, they have complained the missile strike by Iran hit civilian areas and I can totally believe that, because Israel love situating their military and intelligence assets amongst civilian areas, the headquarters of the IDF is in a civilian area of Tel Aviv. Keir Starmer has shown his pettiness towards Palestine and to Jeremy Corbyn in his latest show of how pro Israel he is. Right, so Keir Starmer has dropped the idea of recognising Palestine as a state in it’s own right has he? All that talk about wanting to see two state solution, his commitment to that about as nailed on as his 10 leadership pledges were it seems, but when Starmer is avowedly committed to the existence and survival and the prosperity of Israel, of a Jewish state, as a Zionist without equivocation, his own words implies, does that not make his refusal to recognise a Palestinian state now Islamophobic? At least by his own measure it would surely? Since being anti Israel is, according to Zionists, antisemitic too? Actually, what he has said is even worse than that, because he’s said he wouldn’t recognise an independent Palestinian state unilaterally, therefore he would only recognise such a state in effect, if Israel do, he’s placed a condition on it. Well what business is it of yours to do that? Right, so this story of Keir Starmer having binned the idea of recognising a Palestinian state, you can imagine he didn’t need leaning on very heavily by a donor, or a lobbyist to come to this idea of abandoning the Corbyn era pledge of recognition of a Palestinian state, because for one it was Corbyn’s idea, and therefore it has to be binned, because Starmer is still terrified of him, he’s still living rent free in his head as bringing him up in a speech the other day proved, but equally Israel has zero intention of ever allowing there to be a Palestinian state and they’ve become more emboldened to outright say so, the UK Ambassador for Israel Tzipi Hotovely now infamously saying as much in a TV interview that triggered a number of calls for her to be expelled from the country over it, but of course she’s still here. Now this story, it does have to be said, despite having been picked up on social media and people running with it, has come from a notoriously untrustworthy news source in the Jewish Chronicle, but its been out for some 24 hours now and nobody has refuted it, but then it is also the sort of story that will appeal to the JC, given it both bashes Corbyn and is pro Israel. So what has Starmer apparently said then Damo? Well, out goes Corbyn’s pledge which was to recognise a Palestinian state on day one of a Labour government and instead in comes a two state solution at the right time in the peace process. Well, what peace process then? There isn’t one. No ceasefire can get passed, Israel is committing genocide with impunity and only South Africa have gone down the road of dragging them to court over that. A number of countries have now signed up in support of that. A British Palestinian activist, Leanne Mohamad, has been selected to stand as an Independent against pro Israel Labour MP Wes Streeting. Right, so a wee while ago I did a video following up on all the pro Palestine demonstrations happening in the constituency of Keir Starmer’s most loyal minion, the shadow Health Secretary Wes Streeting. Streeting is not only in lockstep with Starmer on everything, he’s hell bent on bringing even more privatisation into the NHS, as well as being a devoted member of Labour Friends of Israel, is heavily backed by the Israel lobby and has ignored the uproar there has been locally in his constituency, Ilford North and the area covered by Redbridge Borough Council, which Streeting’s constituency falls under. In fact it has been the Redbridge Community Action Group, so sick of Streeting’s pro Israel, pro Starmer ways, that organised protests consisting of hundreds of Streeting’s constituents and have organised a candidate to stand against him, standing up not just for Ilford North, but as a British Palestinian woman, their chosen candidate, Leanne Mohamad, will also be standing up for the rights of Palestine. Right, so really bad news for Wes Streeting means a good news story for this channel and frankly good news for the country, as a guy bought and paid for via donations linked to both the private health lobby and the Israel lobby is not somebody you want anywhere near the levers of power, is not somebody who will reverse the privatisation that has already happened in our health service and indeed isn’t even capable of calling for a ceasefire as Israel commits genocide, such is his and the Labour Party under Keir Starmer as a whole really, and their devotion to the Israeli state, no question ever as to who’s side they are on, when they’d rather side with a nation committing genocide than call for it to stop, preferring humanitarian pauses, or ceasefires that aren’t, but it sounds good if you put the word sustainable in front. It sounds a lot better if you use the word permanent instead, but Labour won’t do that. This is particularly foolish of Wes Streeting to do, because his constituency has a significant Muslim vote and that’s a big chunk of vote that he is in effect spurning, and when the Muslim vote was formerly one Labour could take for granted, losing it could be costly to a number of Labour MPs. The stupidity of Rishi Sunak and Keir Starmer as usual supporting him in attacking Yemen will have an economic impact on us. Right, so having attacked Yemen for daring to hold Israel accountable by way of blockading their shipping, the UK now faces having its own shipping blockaded if it tries to pass through the Red Sea, the limited impact of the Houthis, little more than hardening their resolve in effect to stand by Palestine as pretty much all other nations on Earth turn a blind eye, with honourable exceptions such as the South Africa legal case, notwithstanding. But this stupid act, this delusion of Imperial grandeur will come at a price for us. When people in the UK have endured years of austerity, have seen the Tories economic idiocy put ahead of what needed to be done during the pandemic, the fallout from that still be analysed, but also definitely led to soaring inflation and greedflation costing us all, all the more, we’re now witnessing the spectacle of both the Tories and Labour having spend millions on attacking Yemen, instead of helping the people of this country and in the process have done something likely to lead to price rises once again. Right, so if there’s one thing all of us across whatever political divide you care to draw lines over can agree on right now, is that we’re all sick of how expensive it is to get by right now. We’ve had austerity thanks to the same unelected foreign secretary we’ve got now, from when he was Prime Minister, we’ve had Brexit cause economic chaos as well, as all of a sudden tariffs need to be paid, red tape is tying everything up and we all pay extra for that, the knock on effects of the pandemic and the stupidity of the government placing the economy before people’s lives, costing people their lives as they broke the rules themselves, but having tried to open the country up before suppliers were prepared for it, consumption outstripped supply and prices were driven through the roof. People had to pay it, there was a loathing on the part of suppliers across all manner of markets from food to energy to bring those prices down and the government again failed to help ordinary people. Such has been the depressing spectacle of the last more than a decade of life in the UK. So I’m sure we were all cheering Rishi Sunak handing a £2.5bn package of our money to Volodymyr Zelensky in Ukraine last week weren’t we! Not. Just like performative nonsense such as that, that we all end up having to pay for, such is the case for having spent billions more on a vanity show of military action against Yemen, taking off from an island who’s people no longer want us there in Cyprus, and achieving nothing except to pi** off the Houthis directly with us and mean they’ll now seek to block our shipping through the Red Sea too. Keir Starmer must think we're all really stupid if he thinks we're going to buy into his latest lies, trying to justify war with Yemen! Right, so Keir Starmer and his rancid dishonesty, the man who can’t lie straight in bed, lies like a rug, has a list of lies to his name longer than Mr Tickle’s arms, has after offering his assent to bombing Yemen last Friday, denied that that counted as military action! That’ll come as some comfort to the families of the dead Houthis from that ‘inaction’ then, accidently walking into a Paveway IV missile was it? Well that was just careless of them it would seem. So why make such a blatantly untrue statement about the UK’s part in following Genocide Joe into battle against the Houthis in Yemen on Thursday night then? Well what happens when a liar becomes unstuck by their own lies? They have to make a bigger lie. And that is exactly the position Starmer found himself in and like all liars, he kept lying! But when your lies are contributing to genocide and mass loss of life, why the hell would you vote for such a person to run the country? Right, so Keir Starmer came unstuck this weekend, as his old lies caught up with him and so he had to make up some new ones and all of this was to excuse him as the leader of the UK opposition, not opposing the Tories yet again, nothing new there, but on this occasion it was to back Sunak up by saying he agreed to support Sunak in joining in with the US attacking Yemen, because those blasted Houthis were a threat to Israeli shipping and frankly there are no depths Biden won’t sink to right now in order to keep supporting Israel, despite them having been halfway through their genocide case being presented at the Hague at that time, brought against them by South Africa. Now Starmer came unstuck on Laura Kuenssberg’s show on Sunday over the matter of his support for military action against Yemen, because when you say stuff to camera in this day and age, people keep the receipts, even stenographers like Kuenssberg are capable of that and the reason this has become such a moment of ridicule for Starmer, goes back to when he first became Labour leader, was still full of promises and pledges he hadn’t yet broken, back in 2020 as this was, when he said: ‘I would pass legislation that said military action could be taken if first, the lawful case for it was made, secondly there was a viable objective and thirdly you’ve got the consent of the Commons.’ A lawful case for military action, a viable objective and parliament having voted to give assent to such action. That was Keir Starmer’s position in 2020. Therefore by giving his personal support to joining the US attack on Yemen, he’s failed on all three of his own points. Making a lawful case for this would be unlikely to stand up in court, when Houthi actions are in order to force the end of a genocide, very much against international law and a ruling from the International Court of Justice is expected on this soon, but how can it be unlawful to take action to end ethnic cleansing as the Houthis have? The attack on Yemen by Us & UK forces appears to be all about defending Israel's shipping, but is there a darker intent? Right, so as we know the UK joined in with the US in attacks on Houthis in Yemen the other night, resulting in 10 targets being hit and early reports of at least 5 Houthis having been killed and more injured. Again it is worth reiterating that the Houthi blockade to Israeli shipping in the Red Sea hadn’t killed anyone, that the only fatalities have been Houthi ones at the hands of the US at sea and at the hands of both the US and the UK in Yemen itself. This has of course been presented as necessary because the Houthis are a danger to shipping, but when actually it was only Israeli shipping traffic that was affected, that other traffic could travel freely this was an obvious siding with Israel, on trial for genocide in the Hague as they were at the time of these strikes, in the name of preserving their economy, of placing Israel’s economic needs over the ethnic cleansing happening in Gaza. But commentary from an American convert to Islam, the human rights activist Shahid Bolsen, in relation to this attack on Yemen has actually got people thinking of something else driving this, a much darker motivation in relation to Israel for the UK and US to be pursuing this action against Yemen and it’s something we all need to be aware of. Right so, the bombing in Yemen has appalled and disgusted most people following the situation in the Middle East right now, with Israel still committing genocide in Gaza even whilst they are on trial for genocide, Yemen blockading Israeli shipping causing Israel economic problems, and of course the US and UK flying in to rescue the genocidalists by picking a fight with the Houthis of Yemen, who would have stopped their attacks anyway upon Israel ending its attacks, instead of the the US and UK demanding Israel do that too. Lives would not have been lost and the UK wouldn’t have made itself now a target for it’s shipping trying to pass through the Red Sea as the Yemeni Houthis have now declared. If the US and UK thought this attack on Yemen would make them stop, they really don’t understand their enemy. They don’t give a s**t. I’ve used the honey badger reference to Yemen before, tenacious and never quitting and it fits, because if Western leaders think they’ve achieved anything here, then they’re idiots. All they’ve achieved is to make the Red Sea more impassable than it was before and if they escalate to all out war there, no shipping will get through at all. And for what? Deciding war is more preferable than telling Israel to end it’s genocide. Stupid just isn’t a big enough word. They of course claim they did this to stop any more attacks by the Houthis, the opposite is all they will have achieved. Benjamin Netanyahu has made possibly his most insane speech ever, since even the rule of law now no longer matters to him. Right, so earlier this evening I put out a video where the expectation is that Israel will lose their case against South Africa in the Hague and provisional orders will be granted by the court to end the ceasefire amongst other things and I talked about how the attack on Yemen by US and UK forces was something of a distraction and also how it was a show of defiance against a judicial ruling they will in all likelihood flout. They aren’t of course saying that, they’re claiming they are defending global shipping even though actually they are very much screwing it up with their activities in the Red Sea, but it’s being read as a shot across the bows of anyone who thinks they will take any notice of the ICJ. If they carry on, or escalate, the Red Sea will become impassable for everyone. But the West aren’t stupid enough to overtly come out and say they’ll ignore a judicial ruling, but unfortunately for them, somebody else is stupid enough to come right out and say it, and that person is Benjamin Netanyahu. Right, so while the US and UK are playing damage limitation for Israel, still committing genocide in Gaza, by deciding to bomb Yemen, ahead of an expected legal finding against Israel on charges of genocide, Benjamin Netanyahu takes to TV to just come out and say they’ll ignore the ruling. Nothing quite says we’ve already lost than that does it? It ought to harden the resolve of the court judges really, but they’ll have to pretend he didn’t say anything, though I suppose having come out and said what he has, he can later accuse the court of being biased against Israel by taking into account things not said in the courtroom! Not that that will wash either. Well Netanyahu took to Israeli TV last night to address the nation, a nation of people growing in number, protesting his premiership wanting him gone and a new set of elections held, to say: ‘Citizens of Israel, Today, we mark 100 days of the war, 100 days since the terrible day on which our citizens were massacred and taken hostage. We are continuing the war until the end – until total victory, until we achieve all of our goals: Eliminating Hamas, returning all of our hostages and ensuring that Gaza will never again constitute a threat to Israel. We will restore security to both the south and the north. Nobody will stop us – not The Hague, not the axis of evil and not anybody else. The hypocritical onslaught at The Hague against the state of the Jews that arose from the ashes of the Holocaust, at the behest of those who came to perpetrate another Holocaust against the Jews – is a moral low point in the history of nations. In light of Jeremy Corbyn's historic support for Palestine & his criticism of Israel, was this why pro Israel Labour brought him down? Right, so in light of how ardently the Labour Party are currently supporting Israel right now, it’s worth asking, certainly with Jeremy Corbyn having gone to the International Court of Justice in the Hague this week as part of South Africa’s delegation in their case against Israel, whether this gives some insight into how he was taken down as Labour leader, versus how he was treated over that, versus how Labour regard Israel here and now, when they’re committing genocide. We know the issue of antisemitism was weaponised against Corbyn, but with public opinion worldwide at an all time low as we witness the atrocities Israel are committing and the fact labour regardless of that are not only on side with Israel still, but now prepared to go to war for them, should we not now be admitting, hang on here, Corbyn being critical of Israel and being pro Palestine, he had a point didn’t he? And given what his own party did to him, how they chose to use antisemitism to do that, assisted by other pro Israel organisations the media were more than happy to platform, is it not also true that we have not only a Labour Party so utterly entwined with Israel and pro Israel interests, but that as Corbyn has proven, there’s little to no chance of undoing that? Right, so Jeremy Corbyn, former Labour leader, the guy who got me into politics really, enthused and inspired by the opportunity of having a country run a different way, smeared for Jew hate as he was, never actually stood a chance and looking back at what happened before, with the knowledge of what is happening now in Israel and Gaza, I think makes for worthwhile opportunity for some reflection on that and actually what all of it says about the Labour Party itself. Corbyn we know was undone in 2017 by the party machine misappropriating funds to shore up favoured right wing Labour MPs who didn’t need the funding, such as then Deputy Labour Leader Tom Watson, who was also ardently pro Israel, he actually sang for them in a show of his absolute dedication to Israel just the year before, in 2016 at a lunch event put on by the Labour Friends of Israel. He burst into a rendition of Am Yisrael Chai – which means the People of Israel live. In light of today’s ongoing events, that would have gone down like cold sick if he’d done it now. The thing is though, it was going on then. The persecution of Palestinians has been going on for decades, from Gaza electing Hamas to run their authority in 2007, which resulted in sanctions against a territory, which like the West Bank was occupied territory and had been since 1967 and the six day war and we shouldn’t forget that. Now Corbyn has long spoken out against the occupation, for a two state solution, which is supposed to be the UK’s official stance on the Israel Palestine situation, but being critical of Israel has. Israel's pathetic defence against genocide charges brought by South Africa was for the court of opinion, not of law. Right, so today Israel have laid out their defence for their genocide in Gaza and yes, I’m very much still going to call it that, because their defence wasn’t really aimed at the court, unless these court judges are truly stupid and I find it hard to believe that, but instead aimed at the media, because the court they’re pleading to isn’t the International Court of Justice so much as the court of public opinion. Reinforcing that is the fact that mainstream outlets like Sky and the BBC are happily showing Israel’s defence on TV in full, where they completely ignored South Africa’s case being presented yesterday, truly impartial service, show the majority white nation, ignore the majority black one. But it may well work out that they wish they hadn’t done so given just how terrible the Israeli defence has been. There’s almost an arrogance to it, almost like believing if they show up and tell the court all the same nonsense they have been making public for the last 3 months. If this case, if the provisional measures South Africa have requested are not granted, then the ICJ are not a serious institution, not if Israel can turn up and basically claim ‘Hamas made us do some genocide, but really they did war crimes first’ Is the basis for their defence. Right, so we thought the Israel defence at the Hague was going to be bad, but quite how bad I did not expect, they’re literally pulling all the same stories, all the debunked claims we’ve seen for weeks and presenting them as fact, making me believe they are still wooing public opinion rather than pursue a legal win, perhaps because they haven’t a hope of winning? Well, Israel has a track record of being treated differently to everyone else, so lets not assume anything on that score. The tone was set when the Israeli delegation all turned up wearing yellow ribbons, a not so subtle nod to their intention on playing the victim card, the ribbons symbolic of the yellow stars Jews were made to wear by the Nazis. I’ll start with the Israeli agent who began proceedings, because he really set the tone, bringing up the Holocaust from the get go, as proof of their dedication for avoiding genocide, since it was attempted against them. In other words very much in their traditional habit of saying, you can’t challenge us, we’re Israel, remember the Holocaust! But it gave an idea of where things were going to go from here. The claim was made that this war was not started by Israel, that they did not want war and claim self defence against Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and others. They made the claim that civilian suffering was tragic, they called it heartbreaking. The claim was made that Hamas have sought to maximise civilian casualties and that Israel has sought to minimise them. The agent made the case that genocide cannot be applied to them, because the convention was not designed to address impact on hostilities on civilians, even when the use of force raises serious issues, suffering and loss of life. Rishi Sunak and Keir Starmer are fully behind the US as all three declare support for attacking Houthis in Yemen - over Israel. Right so, last night, without a parliamentary vote, our unelected Prime Minister Rishi Sunak decided he can find some money for war when there’s never any for public services of course, and begin a bombing campaign against the Houthis in Yemen, jumping on Genocide Joe’s coat-tails to bomb Yemen. No mandate to run a lemonade stand in this country, let alone take us into war in the Middle East, but of course the reasons for doing so are even worse. The Houthis have imposed a blockade in the Red Sea to Israeli shipping. They were driving away ships, using rockets and drones and speedboats, and up until the US turned up with a warship, nobody had died. Then the US destroyed three Houthi boats, killing 10 Houthis. Yemen is doing this in solidarity with Gaza, when Israel is inflicting as genocide on the people there. This is in court now, this happened between hearings at the Hague. We are literally getting involved in conflict to allow a genocidal nation to carry on committing genocide. I am utterly revolted at what Sunak has done, but it gets more despairing than that, because as usual, Red Tory Keir Starmer has come out in support of this! Right, so Joe Biden has gone to war with Yemen and Rishi Sunak has basically gone ‘wait for me’ as he quickly raids the kids dressing up box for an army uniform that might fit him. They’ve issued a pathetic statement on this saying: ‘Recognising the broad consensus as expressed by 44 countries around the world on December 19, 2023, as well as the statement by the UN Security Council on December 1, 2023, condemning Houthi attacks against merchant and commercial vessels transiting the Red Sea, our governments issued a joint statement on January 3, 2024, which called for the immediate end of illegal attacks and warned that malign actors would be held accountable should they continue to threaten lives, the global economy, and the free flow of commerce in the region’s critical waterways. Despite this strong warning, attacks in the Red Sea have continued, including the launch of numerous missiles and one-way attack aerial vehicles against ships in the Red Sea on January 9, 2024, including U.S. and UK vessels. On January 10, 2024, the UN Security Council passed UNSCR 2722, which also condemned these attacks and demanded that they cease. Israel's first day in the Hague saw them have to listen to the charges against them from South Africa and it was really something! Right, so this morning Israel’s genocide case began in the Hague, with the testimony from South Africa today, Israel have their turn to defend themselves tomorrow. There should be no underestimating how big an event this is, how huge a court case this is, making it all the more risible that so many media outlets, from the BBC, to Sky to CNN and ABC are downplaying it, so much so they haven’t even opted to televise any of it, though it remains to be seen if they do tomorrow when it is Israel’s turn. Thankfully the International Court of Justice were streaming it, an Al Jazeera showed it in full as well, so people can get around mainstream ignorance. It’s also a huge case because, this is the Hague. To even be taken to the Hague in this day and age is huge, if there’s no case to answer, things don’t escalate to the international stage and if the mass media think they can just cover bits of what happens tomorrow and downplay the events of today they are sorely mistaken, because the team of lawyers South Africa assembled, who took turns in speaking on various aspects of the case in a 3 hour long hearing came prepared and when the opening statement came, claiming Israel had no defence against accusations of genocidal intent and frankly Western media and western politicians are on trial here too, because should South Africa prevail and the case they laid out was forensic and devastating in equal measure, it is going to reflect horribly back on them, especially here in the UK with a General Election coming up – who wants to vote for a genocide enabler? Right, so South Africa began the two day proceedings at the International Court of Justice at the Hague this morning, it will continue tomorrow when Israel have their say, mount their defence, whatever form it takes. Many of us expect it to be full of excuses, but if that is the case, following on from the judicial masterclass South Africa’s representatives put on today, they’ll be in significant bother. 3 hours is a lot to condense into a not overly long video, I’ve focussed on key moments as much as possible, the bits that stood out most for me and even then, it’s hard to whittle this down, because the testimonies given were as compelling and damning as they were horrifying to hear and see in the footage they used, though they went to great pains to avoid using the most graphic video clips they could easily have used, because they want the facts to speak for themselves, not be lost amongst imagery which is too easily fixed upon and all people remember. From the US to the UK politicians are backing Israel, but when even an Israeli politician is now backing South Africa, it's pathetic! Right, so on both sides of the Atlantic, there seems to be some seriously squeaky bums ahead of court proceedings opening tomorrow at the International Court of Justice at The Hague. As far as the US goes, we’ve had the spectacle of Genocide Joe being heckled and his Israel devotee sidekick and Chief of State Antony Blinken has been on a mass flesh pressing exercise around the Arab world, clearly in panic mode that if Israel get found guilty of genocide, they’ll be guilty of aiding and abetting. Here in the UK, a similar case of squeaky bum time has come as David Cameron reluctantly admits that Israel probably is committing genocide in a textbook show of Tory idiocy because at the same time said there will be no cessation of arms sales to the region either! Nothing quite says aiding and abetting quite like admitting there’s law breaking whilst helping Israel to keep doing it! The man made an idiot of himself, hiding behind legal advice, which has now instigated a Labour backbencher - not Starmer obviously, he’s gone into hiding again – to call a motion asking to see the legal advice the government are apparently following on these matters, that’ll be fun if it passes! Meanwhile undermining our government further is news that Jeremy Corbyn has joined with South Africa in supporting their case against Israel and before the likes of or James O’Brien or the Labour Friends of Israel can squeal antisemite over that, a member of the Israeli Knesset, the Israeli parliament has now announced they’re doing likewise! Lots to cover as sphincters are clenching the world over! Right, so a lot of different stories all relating to the same thing, so let’s tie everything together because ultimately everything I described in my intro is lead up to that big South Africa brought genocide case against Israel beginning tomorrow, they eyes of the world will be on it, so stick with me, I’ll be covering it all. First let’s look at Israel’s apparent best friend, the US. We all saw Biden get heckled the other day for allowing this genocide to continue, the nickname Genocide Joe will haunt him for the rest of his days, but seeing all of his supporters braying ‘four more years’ in response to people highlighting the Israeli attacks perpetrated using predominantly US armaments was sick. This isn’t about internal US politics and who is president next, it’s about the here and now, but that’s liberals for you. More than that though has been the Middle East flesh pressing mission amongst the Arab states of the Middle East being carried out by Secretary of State Antony Blinken, a guy who has bent over backwards to excuse what Israel are doing. Between these two men, the power lay to end this genocide, they’ve chosen not to. Worse Blinken has toured Qatar, Turkey, Crete, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and of course Israel. Israel is about to have its day in the dock at the Hague. If South Africa succeed in their case though, what happens next? Right, so what would the consequences for Israel be if South Africa win their case at the International Court of Justice? As we await the beginning of South Africa’s case against Israel on the grounds of genocide beginning in the Hague tomorrow, the foremost legal expert in successful prosecutions under the Genocide Convention and that’s because he’s the only lawyer to ever succeed in winning sanctions against a nation state for committing genocide in the history of the convention, Francis Boyle, who is certain that South Africa will win their case against Israel, was asked what the legal consequences would be for Israel following a defeat in court and what would actually follow. What could happen next and as much as these things are far from certain, and as much as we can expect some form of pro Israel bias to creep in somewhere, because it always seems to, lets take a look at where this will leave Israel and those supporting it, aiding and abetting in genocide, following a successful ruling for South Africa. Right, so Francis Boyle, the only lawyer to mount a successful prosecution under the Genocide Convention when he took Yugoslavia to the World Court over it’s genocide of Bosnia Herzogovina, has weighed in on the prospects for South Africa succeeding against Israel at the International Court of Justice and I covered much of what he said the other day in another video, but as much as we’re hoping that South Africa win, what will happen next if they do? Obviously we don’t want to get too far ahead of ourselves, the hearings don’t begin until tomorrow, but if the eminent Francis Boyle is prepared to stick his neck out and say South Africa has got this, especially when he’s read the court filings and gone through them all as you’d expect a lawyer to do, we might as well see where things would go afterwards if this is indeed the likeliest scenario. So say a cease and desist order gets handed to Israel to end it’s genocide, as Francis Boyle believes will happen, this will have serious consequences for Israel. For one it’s reputation. The entire world will then know that Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinians. A court will have ruled on that, the World Court at that will have ruled on that. Frankly anyone wanting to do trade or business with Israel at that point despite the ruling isn’t somebody I’d want much to do with, but you know they’ll be there. But at this point all other countries signed up to the Genocide Convention under Article 1 will then be obliged to act to prevent that genocide. So basically if Israel decides to ignore the order, all other signatories to the genocide Convention will be obliged to act in a manner in accordance with stopping them some other way. By law, they will have to stand with Palestine against Israel until the genocide stops. The genocide in Gaza is turning more nations in the Middle East against Israel as their ports are seen as key targets... Right, so as we know Israel are having a bit of trouble with their shipping right now, as the Houthi’s in Yemen target Israeli shipping traffic passing through the narrow Bab-el-Mandeb Strait which forms the southern entrance to the Red Sea and leads up to Israel’s southern port of Eilat. The port has been practically shut down of late, such has been the success of that blockade and shipping companies who are operating in and out of Israel, have instead rerouted their operations, sailing all the way around Africa, so they can deliver to Israel via their ports in the Eastern Mediterranean, but one of those has recently been the target of an attack and for a while it was something of a mystery who did it, but at last someone has put their hand up and admitted to it, and it’s not necessarily who you might think. Right, so the Houthi’s in Yemen are still causing Israel a massive headache when it comes to their shipping, well if they would stop their bombardment and genocide in Gaza it would help wouldn’t it? But they won’t, Netanyahu’s career depends on it and he places that above the economic wellbeing of his own country, as well as the notion of there ever being a Palestinian state. While the US have sent naval forces in to defend Netanyahu’s career against those supporting the people who’s lands he and Israel occupy, Iran having done likewise too now, offering Yemen some support, indeed as the mainstream media keep telling us, those Iran backed Houthi’s, but always neglecting to say Western backed Israel in the name of impartiality of course. Well those actions by the Houthi’s as we know are causing Israel issues via their southernmost port of Eilat, it is driving Israeli trade around the coast of Africa and across the Mediterranean in order to access the Israeli ports of Haifa and Jaffa instead, so Israeli is still able to trade, but it’s taking quite the economic hit when all of it’s trade partners, particularly in Asia and Australasia are having to make a massive detour. Still, two accessible ports is better than none right? Well I’m coming to that now, because the other day, the port of Haifa got hit by a missile. Now the port of Haifa lies in Haifa Bay on the Northernmost edge of Israel’s Mediterranean coastline, it’s only about 30 miles from the border with Lebanon and this strike on Haifa came just 5 days after the assassination of Saleh Al-Arouri the Hamas leader targeted in a block of flats in southern Beirut, in Lebanon it is assumed by Israel still, though they are still denying it. So the strike, seemingly came out of nowhere, but being as close to Lebanon as Haifa is, Lebanon, Hezbollah, were seen as likely culprits. The targeting of another port. The evidence against Israel's defence in The Hague this week, even from their OWN people amongst others is mounting up... Right, so everything Israel have done since October 7th has been, so we’re told repeatedly by Israel, but certainly by our mainstream media as well, has been in retaliation for Hamas invading Israel, striking a music festival and the nearby agricultural settlements, the kibbutzes, where they also tell us Hamas committed horrendous acts of atrocity as they did so, much already debunked when clearly they had no time to spend, burning people alive for example, but people died, some almost certainly at the hands of Hamas and they did indeed take hostages as we know, but more and more scrutiny and investigation of that night has not only revealed a great many deaths were caused by Israel themselves, by admissions from Israel even, they’ve admitted it even if they didn’t necessarily mean to, but further analysis by others either in the know, from eyewitnesses, to survivors or to experts in such matter are all pointing the finger of blame squarely at Israel and not Hamas, so for how long can this carry on ignored, because although yes, we’re now counting down the days until the International Court of Justice open proceedings on all of this, but people are dying on a daily basis and it looks ever more possible, that this is all based on a bigger and bigger lie in and of itself ? Right, so, there’s no denying Hamas went into Israel and took hostages and people died in the process. There is blame on both sides for this, but given how disproportionate the response by Israel was on Hamas for that, one night of incursion, followed by 3 months and counting of genocide, it matters as more information comes out implying more and more of the fatalities on the night of October 7th were due to Israeli actions rather than Hamas. The scale of the loss of life in Gaza has been immense, it’s beyond comprehension. 30,000 people dead and counting. If Israel was responsible for more of the deaths on October 7th though, then what they are doing now is even more objectionable than previously thought and lets remember here, Gaza and everybody in it Hamas and non Hamas affiliated alike, are prisoners of Israel. They have a right to resist that. Anyway there’s a few instances I want to talk about where Israel being at fault on the night of October 7th is now verifiable. First there was a gaffe by Netanyahu’s mouthpiece and former Israeli ambassador to the UK, Mark Regev. When questioned on US news channel MSNBC by Mehdi Hasan regarding the number of Israeli deaths on the night of October 7th being revised down from what Israel had said previously, Regev said: ‘We had the number at 1,400 casualties and now we’ve revised that down to 1,200 because we understood that we had overestimated. We had made a mistake. There were actually bodies that were so badly burnt we thought they were ours. Knesset member of netanyahu's ruling party Likud, Tally Gotliv has made a crazed admission of the use of starvation as a weapon. Right, so a story I had missed from back in October covering how Israel weaponises food and water into Gaza has come to my attention and this came up then as supply trucks and humanitarian aid was trying to get into Gaza and might actually shed some light as to why they struggled at first to get into Gaza, they were held up at the Rafah border crossing in Egypt you might recall, they were also targeted after getting into Gaza, we’ve seen footage of Israeli Defence Force soldiers seizing aid intended for Palestine’s and also desecrating it and what has come to my attention is some video footage from a Netanyahu ally called Revital Gotliv, Tally for short, a member of his Likud Party and member of the Israeli Knesset, where she is basically raving to a crowd, why it is important that the people of Gaza be starved and thirsted for the good of Israel. Right, so food and water supplies into Gaza have been problematic in no small part thanks to Israeli forces and as a result there have ben huge problems with hygiene, sanitation, disease is rife, the markets are barren, no commercial goods are getting in, before the war some 500 trucks a day of supplies were getting into Gaza, that has fallen to barely 100 according to a Channel 4 investigation. People are literally dying of hunger and thirst and now, footage has cropped up of a member of Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud Party, saying why this is necessary. She thinks this situation is right and good and exactly as things are meant to be in order to benefit Israel and she has quite the list of reasons as to why that is, which might seem right and good and proper to her, but should be seen as completely depraved to everyone else. She made a big shouty speech aimed at her own government to not break the siege on Gaza that had begun on October 7th. She said: ‘And for the government itself. If you decide to end the siege, to break the siege, it will be, in my opinion, a terrible decision, because without hunger and thirst among the Gaza population, we will not be able to recruit collaborators, we will not be able to recruit intelligence, we will not be able to bribe people with food, with drink, with medicine in order to achieve intelligence. And we know that finding the hostages is a super important goal of the war. So if you broke the siege, don’t give up and tell us Biden, no.
