Ozone: The $5 Remedy For Viruses & Antioxidant Myths - Dr Robert Rowen
We’re being ‘pharmed’ by Pharma - Dr Robert Rowen
This week’s guest needs no introduction and is none other than Dr Robert Rowen. Dr Rowen just turned 70 years old (and he looked amazing, especially his skin) and has been practicing alternative medicine for over 40 years. When I walked into Dr Rowen’s office, he was treating his blood with ozone, also known as O3. Ozone is a molecule composed of 3 atoms of oxygen (O3). It can significantly improve biochemical pathways and metabolism in the body. Our immune cells naturally produce ozone in our bodies. Ozone is known to break up bacterial cells, disrupt virus reproduction, and destroy toxins. Ozone increases oxygenation and improves blood flow throughout the entire body. The strongest method is usually to give ozone blood treatments. The most effective treatment Dr Rowen has found for pain is injecting ozone into joints/painful areas.
I have been following Dr Rowen for years, but what made me particularly interested in Dr Rowen’s work was his study of the Ebola virus. Dr Rowen went to Sierre Leone during the Ebola pandemic and successfully treated five people with Ebola. Due to politics, which you’ll learn about in the podcast, Dr Rowen was forced to stop treating people.
What does the Ebola virus have to do with today you might ask? Well, the Ebola virus shares similar properties to that of the Coronavirus, which Dr Rowen outlines in our podcast. Based on these properties, there’s a great chance that ozone could be used to treat Coronavirus as well.
In this episode we also talk about free radicals, bacteria, viruses, and how they might not be so bad after all. We also talk about the vaccine’s efficacy and their checkered history. We talk about how viruses actually work and ways you can maintain a healthy lifestyle especially during these crazy times. Enjoy!

Why Supplement With Methylene Blue: Most Powerful Antioxidant - Dr. Scott Sherr
There is a ton of confusion surrounding this once sold fish tank cleaner that is now being sold a health supplement, methylene blue. Believe it or not, methylene blue is a powerful mitochondrial enhancer, electron donator, nootropic, and antioxidant. Methylene blue is showing promising effects for those with cognitive issues such as Alzheimer's due to it's powerful effects on the mitochondria and reducing inflammation.
There's a lot of so-called experts out there pontificating about methylene blue, but there's very few real experts. I sought out, Dr. Scott Sherr, a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician Certified to Practice Health Optimization Medicine (HOMe) and a specialist in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). He is the cofounder of HOMe-SF, the first HOMe clinic in the United states and also acts as the Chief Operating Officer of HOMe–USA, a nonprofit that is creating an online HOMe education course for doctors and healthcare practitioners.
He's also the co-founder of Troscriptions TX, a company specializing in pharmaceutical grade and precision dosed methylene blue, which really separates it from any other methylene blue supplement company.

Breathing For A Better Engine (Oxygen Training w/Adaptive Contrast Therapy) - Owen Monroy
In this week’s podcast, I interviewed Owen Monroy, the founder of Oxygen Rally in Walnut Creek, CA at The Human Optimization Center. Owen has a background coaching collegiate volleyball, but felt like he wasn’t living his true purpose. Owen is a Human Potential Coach, a biohacker, and has extensive knowledge in health/wellness, but felt like being a volleyball coach limited his ability to truly create change within the environment and people he was directly impacting. So, instead he left and went on to create his own fitness program using oxygen training with adaptive contrast therapy at the center.
We talk all bout this therapy and why it has so much impact on athletes as well as just regular people. The type of oxygen training Owen utilizes works as the user must be moving or working out at the same time they are receiving the oxygen. Owen then puts the user in a hypoxic state temporarily or at altitude. This sends signals to the body that they need to produce more oxygen in order to keep moving at the same pace. Then, Owen will have the user switch to a super saturated state, pushing oxygen deep into the tissues.
This type of training is great for respiratory fitness, brain health, detoxification, fat-loss, immune readiness and anti-aging. Owen has had people with chronic headaches and neck pain say to them that only after three sessions, 15 minutes each, their pain has subsided and went away. I actually did a 15 minute session with Owen at his studio and found it to be one of the best workouts I’ve ever done, and I hate doing cardio and rarely do it. Not only was it fun, but I felt euphoric after completing the session, and the best part was it only took 15 minutes.
Owen couples this therapy with metabolic testing using a device called a PNOĒ device. The PNOĒ’s proprietary data analysis software is the only commercially available tool for automatically analyzing all metrics measured during a metabolic test. The result is the PNOĒ Report, the most comprehensive scan of your client’s physiology that goes far beyond reporting RMR, VO2max, and training zones. I didn’t get a chance to try this device, but Owen swears it gives clients some of the best data they need to really help make some change in terms of fitness and/or weight loss.
Owen has also started a GoFundMe page, where he’s donating all the proceeds to firefighters, who’s lungs and respiratory health are compromised on a daily basis. Did you know that 70% of line-of-duty deaths for career firefighters are Cancer related. It is hardly surprising that this high risk was anchored by lung, mesothelioma, oral, esophageal, large intestine, and kidney cancers.
Now, YOU can get three FREE sessions with Owen and the Oxygen Boost Training, and donate three sessions to a first responder. It’s a huge opportunity to rejuvenate your lungs WHILE helping firefighters recover from intense exposure to fire retardant chemicals and toxic smoke exposure.
This week during some of the worst air quality the SF Bay Area has seen my friends at Oxygen Rally launched the Firefighter Lung Recovery Fund and are inviting the community to invest in personal respiratory health while supporting lung recovery for firefighters.
Guys, not only was Owen a wealth of knowledge, but he’s just a good human and he wants to serve in a big way. I was honored to have interviewed him, but more importantly the friendship we created afterwards.

Lessons From Over A Decade Of Coaching Crossfit - Angel Liu Orozco
Angel Liu Orozco is the head coach of Telegraph Crossfit in San Francisco, CA. Angel has been involved in Crossfit since almost its inception and has been training in Crossfit for over 13 years. I first met Angel years ago when he was working at San Francisco Crossift led by head coach Kelly Starrett. Angel later went on to open his own gym which has always had a loyal following. When Angel left San Francisco Crossfit, I followed him and trained at his gym for about a year.
Angel has an incredible depth when it comes to fitness and he’s not your typical one dimensional “Crossfit bro” kind of guy. He’s all an around athlete and has seen the trends and fad come and go. He understands what works and what doesn’t. Angel also has an incredible understanding of the human body: mobility, bodywork, and functional movement.
We talk about some of the major problems with Crossfit, but why Angel still finds it one of the best training modalities out there. We talk about how Angel has evolved over the years as a coach and how fatherhood has changed him as a coach. Stay tuned to the end, where Angel reveals his number one hack or ritual that he does to keep him grounded. Honestly, his answer floored me and I think you’ll think the same.

Superior Outcomes: Sean O'Keefe's Approach to Improving Student Success in Higher Education
Sean O’Keefe is not a health or fitness professional or a biohacker, so why would I have him on the show? Because when it comes to overall performance and happiness in life, your career, the place you spend the majority of your life plays a major part in this equation. Sean helps people find their dream job and launch their career.
Sean O’Keefe is a professor at the Santa Clara University and has a history of sales positions. Sean has worked for the San Francisco 49er’s, and the Oakland A’s, where he broke several sales records. In his last sales position he tripled revenue and quadrupled profits for Shamrock Office Solutions over seven years with 100% organic growth. Throughout his career, Sean realized the majority of people really don’t know how to get a job. They don’t know the basics, let alone the advanced tactics and strategies. Grateful for his own successes, Sean created Launch Your Career where he has helped thousands of students land the jobs and internships they want. Two-thirds of workers in the US are unhappy with their jobs and the job application process. A key driver of this is applicants "settling" for a position after getting beaten down by the online application process, which has a 3-5% success rate. Launch Your Career is the solution. Sean also created Empowered Students, which shares it's curriculum at no charge to low income and first-generations college students through a 501c3 nonprofit organization called Empowered Students. Sean’s third endeavor is called Superior Outcomes where he assists 2-year and 4-year colleges in their efforts to improve student success rates by providing presentations, keynotes, workshops, and seminars to a variety of audiences: Higher Ed Administrators, Students, Faculty, Career Counselors, and more.

Levi's Future 1st Ever Woman CEO Fired For Sticking Up For Kids| Jennifer Sey
Blessed to interview a true leader and someone who stands for courage, and really means it. Jennifer Sey doesn't just tweet about courage but then hide behind her desk like many of the "pretend leaders," and "influencers" out there today. She does what is right, not what it is easy.
Jennifer Sey was on track to become the first woman CEO of Levi Strauss & Co. As the President of the Levi's brand, she was widely celebrated as a versatile and inspirational leader who had helped save the iconic brand from bankruptcy. Formerly a self-described "left of left of center" progressive, she was beloved as the embodiment of the company's "profits through principles" ethos.
But everything changed when Sey publicly opposed the closure of San Francisco's public schools at the height of the pandemic. In response to her 'wrongthink, ' management gave her a choice: shut up or leave. She decided that defending at-risk children was more important than the job that she loved, and so she resigned. After more than two decades at the company, she gave up her professional future in order to retain her voice.
Sey was also a U.S. National Gymnastics champion but quit after years of abuse, torture, bulimia and more, which discusses in her first book, Chalked Up. As the highest profile executive to fall victim to the cancel culture engulfing America, her story is an inspiration for all those who, in these difficult times, feel pressured to remain silent on their most fundamental beliefs. The more Americans who stand up to "woke-ism," the better chance we have at creating a truly equitable and inclusive society. Principles and integrity matter. Ultimately, they matter more than anything else. Go grab her new book for the full story, Levi's Unbuttoned: The Woke Mob Took My Job But Gave Me My Voice.

Balancing The Body & Healing The Impossible W/ Zone Technique - Dr. Pete Goldman
This week’s episode I was lucky enough to interview Dr Pete Goldman, founder of the Zone School Chiropractic. I have been seeing Dr Pete for years since he was first recommended to me by other martial artists and MMA fighters in the Bay Area. I then later met Dr Pete in a jiu-jitsu class and told him about my shoulder that was hurting me for almost a year and was not getting better. Dr Pete told me, “I can help you, just come see me.” I was doubtful as “normal chiropractors” just adjust bones and the spine and neck. And my issue was a muscle or a tendon, not a bone. Nonetheless, I saw Dr Pete and within a week or two my shoulder was back to 80%. That was years ago, and even till this day my shoulder is doing just fine.
Dr Pete has an amazing story, and talked about his childhood growing up in Brooklyn in the 1970’s. Dr Pete described Brooklyn as being a very “checkerboard” area, which led him to embarking on a journey into martial arts. Dr Pete is a true martial artist and really understands the history of the arts. Dr Pete’s affinity for martial arts is what makes him popular with fighters today. The best in the world seek out Dr Pete, because they need results, and he delivers.
Dr Pete also talks about why most chiropractor schools are a joke today and don’t practice real healing. Dr Pete says:
“99% of chiropractors, their patients are in their for neck and back pain, it’s a joke…85% of my patients in my waiting room are here for their liver, their gallbladder, their pancreas, their nervous system, their immune system…”
So what’s the big disconnect? Listen to the episode to learn more.
Lastly, Dr Pete has created his own online school The Zone Technique where other healers, acupuncturist, chiropractors, etc can learn the same healing principles that have given him great success. Dr Pete also teaches and conducts seminars worldwide.

NAD, Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine - Dr Jillian Shannon
This week’s episode I had the pleasure of interviewing Dr Jillain Shannon who’s a functional medicine doctor that specializes in anti-aging and regenerative medicine in San Francisco, CA. She works closely with regulating hormones, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, insomnia, autoimmune conditions, thyroid disease, joint injections and IV therapies.
I was intrigued to meet Dr Shannon because she’s practicing cutting edge therapies such as intravenous NAD therapy, prolozone therapy for the joints, or PRP as well as “biohacking” or optimizing sexual function in men and women with “O” and “P” Shots as well as Gains Wave Technology. While I interviewed Dr Shannon I had her hook me up to my first IV NAD drip. NAD is an acronym for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, and is a coenzyme found in every cell within the body and is involved in many processes. Why get NAD IV therapy? Well, NAD has been shown to do the following things:
- Assist with addiction recovery (alcohol, opioids, nicotine)
- Improve depression
- Improve brain health and neurological function
- Improve mental clarity
- Improve brain regeneration
- Boost energy levels
- Reduce overall fatigue
- Restore muscle function and athletic performance
I was slightly nervous as people that have gotten NAD drips in the past have stated they feel a severe tightening in their chest, but then it later it goes away and they feel euphoric. Dr Shannon explained to me that’s because most physicians aren’t trained properly and are putting too much NAD in your system too fast. My first experience with NAD was actually quite pleasant and had no tightening in the chest at all.
This is a great episode if you’re interested in how to get to the root cause of some malingering health conditions and how Dr Shannon tackles patient’s long term health issues. Dr Shannon is a pro when it comes to anti-aging and regenerative medicine and in the fall is looking to add peptides and ozone therapy to her already booming practice. I can’t wait to go in and get treated by her then again and do a part II with her. Enjoy!

Kids Health, Pregnancy Problems, & Vaxxines - Dr Kristine Hicks
This week, I had the pleasure of speaking with Dr Kristine Hicks. Dr Hicks is a chiropractor who specializes in the area of treating children and pre/post pregnant women. I first met Dr Hicks almost six years ago, after my first son turned about one year’s old. My son had just started walking, and then all of a sudden, he had started falling repeatedly. My wife noticed he was limping on one leg and it appeared to be the cause of all his falling. Unbeknownst to me at the time that there were chiropractors who specialized in the area of treating children. We made an appointment to see our pediatrician as well as Dr Hicks.
Our pediatrician looked at our son quickly and performed a few tests. Afterwards, our pediatrician told us our son’s other leg was the problem, not the one that we saw him limping on. Then, he left us with saying, “Yeah there’s nothing we can do, this is normal actually, I see it all the time it’s just part of growing up.” The following day, we saw Dr Hicks. After performing her screening tests for our son, she concurred with us that the leg our son was limping on was the problem. Dr HIcks adjusted our son, and he was 90% better that day, walking more smoothly and not falling. After his second treatment, he was back to normal. Since then, we haven’t stopped going back to Dr Hicks for monthly routine maintenance.
Like I mentioned, most of Dr Hicks clientele are also pregnant woman. After interviewing her, I couldn’t believe all the benefits women see from chiropractic pre, during, and after the birth of their child. Chiropractic can help with fertility, reduce breached births, and much more.
Lastly, Dr HIcks is well versed in natural medicine and the dangers in vaccines. This is not a conversation to bash vaccines, but really just an opportunity to share knowledge. There were a lot of things I was unaware of when it comes to vaccines.
We also talk about the Coronavirus and simple ways to keep yourself healthy. Tune into this episode and leave a comment of what you liked. Subscribe to me on any of the major channels such as: iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, and YouTube.

Yoga - Breathwork - Overcoming TBI & Depression - with Faysal Abi
Faysal Abi is an old friend of mine who I first met over five years ago in the Tenderloin area of San Francisco. We were both police officers working a beat. Faysal was an interesting dude to say the least, as I found he was one of the few who shared some of my same “woo-woo” interests, such as: essential oils, meditation/mindfulness, and yoga. Faysal was also much more spiritual and grounded than most police officers I had met. Faysal and I also shared a common bond as we were both “laterals,” officers from different agencies.
I lost touch with Faysal after he left San Francisco, and lateraled to another agency. About a year later, I heard he was in a bad car accident that forced him to quit police work altogether. He faced depression, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and numerous physical injuries. However, through his deep spiritual practices; breath work, bodywork, yoga and much more, Faysal recovered and reinvented himself. He tells an amazing story of what it was like to go through depression and come out the other side. He also has some hacks and recommendations for any listener that under goes the same trauma.
Faysal Abi has been doing yoga for over 15 years and teaching full time for the last six years. The guy does press handstands, what more do you want!?
