Repairing a beat up Brush Hog - AGAIN! Part 2 (Just brush hogging)
This is Part 2. Literally just me brush hogging and testing out my new blades.
Broke a blade on this brush hog recently. Repairs involve replacing both blades, welding on a couple of front supports so the corners don't dig into the earth as much, as well as repairing some broken rebar supports.
Tractor is a Mahindra 1626
Welder is a Millermatic 211

Installing LED Lights to my Mahindra 1626 Tractor - Part 2
Purchased an LED kit recently which included an LED flood/spot light bar, 2 LED flood lights, and a wiring harness. Installed them onto the ROPS of my Mahindra 1626 tractor. The factory lights are bright enough, but with the REL in the way, its almost impossible to safely work in the dark.

Firewood - Start to Finish - Felling, Bucking, Splitting, Stacking
Cut down a couple of trees at Ed's house. Special guest, his 7 month old German Shepard, Nala. Followed up by another special guest, my 9ish year old Boxer/Pit Dodge. He was at the SPCA (back in Jan of 2013) as a stray, and he clearly has the 'follow your nose' mentality, so he needs to stay on a leash or you'll never see him again.
Trees cut and bucked into rounds at Eds. Trailed over to my property, the Barn to be split and stacked for seasoning.
Chainsaws used are my Hasqvarna 450 and Ed's Stihl 021.
Log Splitter is a Sportsman Earth Series 19-Ton Kinetic splitter.
Stacked in IBC Totes
Hauled around using my Mahindra 1626 tractor and pallet forks.

Snow Removal after Weekend Storm
5 inches of snow fell Friday, Friday night it rained, turned to ice and then another 8in of snow on Saturday.
This is the cleanup of my 1000' driveway back to The Barn using my Mahindra 1626 tractor and box blade. Maybe next year Ill invest in a PTO driven snow blower, but in the meantime, the bucket and box blade get the job done.

A Winter's Day at The Barn - Tractor plowing and Firewood
Spent a few hours at the barn today. Plowed my 1000-ft driveway with my Mahindra 1626 tractor and box blade. Followed up with some log bucking using my Husqvarna 450, then split with my Sportsman 19-ton kinetic log splitter. Firewood was then thrown into an IBC tote for temporary storage.

Barn Work Day 4 - Clean up and Stumps
Dug one more trench to a small pond for a culvert to be installed on day 5. I have a hilly trail leading to the back of my property where I dug out the high spots as well as removed some stumps. Smoothed out a lot of ruts to make it easier for the tractor to get through once the ground refreezes.

Barn Work Day 3 - Tractor and Chainsaw
Starts out with the mini at Ed's house, digging a trench to install drain pipe from his overflowing front yard natural spring fed pond to drain into his back woods to a preexisting pond. Then to the Barn for some tractor work and chainsawing. Finishing up back at Ed's to view his completed trench.
Ed's drain pipe installation will be in a future video.

Erecting and disassembly timelapse video of scaffold to insulate duct work on a local project. Stadium canvas roof was replaced and the building now has air conditioning, so all duct work gets insulation. Insulators need a safe, working platform to perform their task. Hot Water Project at the Off-Grid Barn
Using a 275Gal IBC Tote, a water pump, and a black well water pipe to absorb heat on top of the roof to get hot and cold supply lines inside the barn, along with hose spigots on the outside and water plumbed to a stand up shower.
This video was taken over the course of 4-5 weeks. A wood pallet privacy screen will be installed for the shower area, but this video is long overdue.

Installing a French Drain Between House and Massive Backyard Hill
Installing a french drain on the side of a house using socked perforated pipe then turning to solid pipe at the driveway, going through the driveway, and then exiting out a small rock wall towards the road.
Customer plans on replacing driveway at a later date, including a concrete apron at the saw cut and extending to the garage. This was a 'get it done cheap' job. We all have our own opinions on how we'd like to do our own jobs, I get it. I was just the digger on this, and the customer wanted, and appreciated the end result.
Machines used were a Kato 17VX, and a John Deere 1025. Towed with my faithful 2014 F150 which just hit 179k miles.

Pouring off a 30x36 Pole Barn Concrete Slab
Ok, you've seen one you've seen em all. Wearing a chest camera to try some new angles out. Think I need to raise the aim a little bit if I do this again.
2 trucks, 4 guys, 2 wheel barrows. Me and another guy poured off and left for another job while the other 2 guys stayed late for that nice power trowel finish. Never got any finished pictures when they went back for saw cuts, but we all know what a concrete floor looks like.

Broke both anti-sway bars on the tractor the other day brush hogging. Found a few online retailers that sell them but I'm not paying $150 (each) to replacement them.
