The end of a letter always contains final farewells and thought. In Paul’s typical fashion, he reveals some words of wisdom.

One thing we all hope we will hear at the end of our lives is, "well done thou good and faithful servant." Today, Paul gives us insight into those qualities that spark God's stamp of approval.

Paul begins to ‘land the plane” and finish up this incredible letter. He tells the church in Rome of his plans to visit. In the process, Paul teaches us a lot about how the Christian is to plan. Today’s message is, “Man Plans.”

In this passage, Jesus and two criminals are headed to Calvary with their crosses to be crucified. The crowd shouted and mocked as the Roman guards cast lots and divided Jesus’ clothes. Jesus then pleads to God to forgive them.

As Paul begins to wrap up his letter to the Romans, he has a few nuggets left for us. He admonishes us to receive, to serve, and to believe in one another.

Pauls first letter to the Corinthians is quite detailed. In this chapter, he tells what love is and exhorts us to put away childish things.

What a great text for communion Sunday. Paul exhorts us to bear with one another for good, to glorify God.

In many cards games, there is a "trump suit". For instance, the dealer might tell everyone, hearts is the trump suit. Hearts are then the most powerful suit. It wins over other suits even if the card is larger. If hearts are the trump suit, a three of hearts would beat a king of diamonds. In our Christian life, we have liberty and have been set free from the law. But the law of love trumps the law of liberty.

Some things in the Bible are very clear. Thou shalt not lie and thou shall not murder. Jesus taught it, the church believed it, and the epistles discussed it. Rock solid stuff. But, there is another category of things; doubtful things. If we don't understand them, it can cause all sorts of unnecessary and unhelpful friction in the body of Christ.

Paul concludes this chapter of Romans by exhorting us to love our neighbor. He gives us pointers on what that ought to look like

In the 1960s the buzz phrase (pun intended) was "question authority". The Bible has a much different take on the topic. In Romans 13, verses 1 through 7, Paul will explain to us why we ought to obey governing authorities.

In this passage, Paul gives us words of wisdom in how to navigate this world as a follower of Christ.

Paul lists a few of the various Gifts of the Spirit and we will do a deep dive on these Gifts!

In verses one and two of chapter 12, Paul gave us individual responsibilities. He charged us to lay down our lives as living sacrifices and not be conformed to the world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Now he expands our responsibilities into the church.

God calls us to be a living sacrifice. There are some conditions that go along with it which we will learn about today in the message “Living Sacrifice”.

Paul continues to remind us of the incredible mercy of God. God is still willing and able to give His mercy to those who have thus far been disobedient. It truly is a Mysterious Mercy.

Christmas Eve Day, we look into one of the prophecies God gave to Isaiah. In the 9th chapter of Isaiah, God foretells the advent of the “Child born to us” and “the Son given to us.” Today’s message is “What Child is This?”

Paul continues to address the Gentile converts in the church by using the olive tree as an example. He reminds us Gentiles, that we were grafted into the root. We discover what it means to be grafted in, why it is important, and how we are to live this truth out.

Paul continues to explain that God has not forsaken His people. We can be thankful, ever so thankful, that the Divine Response is just that, divine.

This Scripture is a great missionary clarion call for the church. It is a glorious reminder of the mission of the church: to share the Gospel of Peace with all mankind.

The Apostle Paul continues to share his aching heart towards his fellow Jews. He longs for them to know Christ, but they are chasing the wrong righteousness. As Paul shares, it is vital that we get the right righteousness.

We have all seen those pharmaceutical ads where the man with the deep voice reads out the long list of possible side effects. In Romans 9, we hear a list of side effects of God's Sovereignty, all of which are good!

With the war going on in Gaza, what a fitting time to be getting into Romans 9. The Apostle Paul will take the next three chapters discussing the nation of Israel. First up, Israel’s election and their rejection. Like us, they are chosen to choose
