Paul continues setting the groundwork in his letter to the Romans by addressing the Jews in the church and reminding them of the essentialness of not just being a Jew in name only. It must go deeper. The outward show is worthless without the inward change.

Pastor Jim from U-Turn for Christ Florida in Crystal River will share how to "Stay Connected" to Jesus.

In chapter 1, Paul laid the groundwork of what's on his heart for the Roman believers, namely the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In chapter 2, he now needs them to know that all of us are in the same position and that we need to beware of the fruitlessness of being "judgy."

Three times in our passage, Paul tells us that God "gave them over" to uncleanness, to vile passions, and to a debased mind. Why would God do that? Last week we dealt with Paul's introduction to the letter of Romans. He poured out his heart to them with a bold declaration. We now study the other side of that coin as the Wrath of God is revealed for us.

Paul longed to go to Rome, not to see the sights, but to share the Gospel with the people of Rome and to impart gifts to them. Remember though, this was not wholly his idea. Jesus told him he would go there. There were many things that got in the way. In the meantime, Paul wrote them an amazing letter. We now begin to discover why Paul’s letter to the Romans is so transformative.

We conclude the book of Acts with Paul’s ministry in Rome. However the mission of Acts continues today through God’s people. Guest speaker Vinny Davino will share the message “Unstoppable”.

Paul and the other 275 passengers have shipwrecked on the Island of Malta. While there, they are shown “Uncommon Kindness” by the natives.

Paul and his companions are headed to Rome, but not necessarily in the way he expected... in shackles. On the journey, despite being warned, the ship was steered directly into the path of a typhoon. By divine providence, Paul is afforded another opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This time, as Jesus had promised him, he now presents the Gospel to King Agrippa II and a bunch of folks.

The newly appointed leader gets a prestigious visitor, King Agrippa. One of the main topics of discussion is the apostle Paul. Festus seeks Agrippa's advice on what to write to Caesar about this man who is in trouble for his affiliation with "a certain Jesus." Festus is obviously not clear on who this certain Jesus is. Are you?

Former catcher for the New York Yankees , Yogi Berra, had a knack for saying things that he thought made sense, but wound up being nonsensical. One of his quotable quotes was the now famous line: "It's like deja vu all over again." Paul must have felt like that when the events of chapter 25 unfolded. It's like deja vu all over again.
