Paul longed to go to Rome, not to see the sights, but to share the Gospel with the people of Rome and to impart gifts to them. Remember though, this was not wholly his idea. Jesus told him he would go there. There were many things that got in the way. In the meantime, Paul wrote them an amazing letter. We now begin to discover why Paul’s letter to the Romans is so transformative.

We conclude the book of Acts with Paul’s ministry in Rome. However the mission of Acts continues today through God’s people. Guest speaker Vinny Davino will share the message “Unstoppable”.

Paul and the other 275 passengers have shipwrecked on the Island of Malta. While there, they are shown “Uncommon Kindness” by the natives.

By divine providence, Paul is afforded another opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This time, as Jesus had promised him, he now presents the Gospel to King Agrippa II and a bunch of folks.

The newly appointed leader gets a prestigious visitor, King Agrippa. One of the main topics of discussion is the apostle Paul. Festus seeks Agrippa's advice on what to write to Caesar about this man who is in trouble for his affiliation with "a certain Jesus." Festus is obviously not clear on who this certain Jesus is. Former catcher for the New York Yankees , Yogi Berra, had a knack for saying things that he thought made sense, but wound up being nonsensical. One of his quotable quotes was the now famous line: "It's like deja vu all over again." Paul must have felt like that when the events of chapter 25 unfolded. It's like deja vu all over again.
