The Twycross Zoo in Atherstone (England) welcomes a rare and endangered Western Lowland Gorilla baby. The western lowland gorilla (Gorilla gorilla gorilla) is one of two subspecies of the western gorilla (Gorilla gorilla) that lives in mountain, primary and secondary forests and lowland swamps in central Africa in Angola, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon. It is the gorilla most often found in zoos. Female western lowland gorillas do not produce many offspring due to the fact that they do not reach sexual maturity until the age of 8 or 9. Ozala the mom carries the baby around the enclosure while brother Lope shows its delight. A wonderful new addition to the family!

How cute is this? This one month old female Elephant calf is from the Chester Zoo in England. She loves to play around with her mom Thi Hi Way in the sand. She is getting so much love and care from her mom, so adorable. Her mom shows her the stick but she isn't very interested in it, all she wants is to play around in the sand! She digs her feet into the sand and it looks like she enjoys the feeling very much! During her play time, she gets herself in some trouble with the sand. She falls over and can't get up, she tries to put all her strength into it, but it is very difficult for her to get up. Don't worry, she gets up in the end! The sand is no match for this baby elephant. She can conquer anything. She just cant bother her mom right now, she is in a deep sleep! Maybe this calf should take a nap too! Awe, this little guy must have gotten frightened by these tourists! While on a South African safari, this user encountered a particularly special baby elephant. This adorable and potential dangerous moment was one for the books. This unlikely pair are from Bush Garden in Tampa Park. The 8-week-old male cheetah cub and 16-week-old female mix puppy play together. Busch's animal experts expect their friendship to last a lifetime. The pair, who were later named Kasi (cheetah) and Mtani (dog), spent only supervised play times together at first. This is the baby Elephant Otto from the Munich Tierpark Hellabrunn. He loves nothing more than to cuddle with his dad, a gorgeous bull elephant with huge tusks. Dad Gajendra is temporarily separated, most likely because he's in Musth (must), meaning his Testosterone levels can be more than 60 times higher than in the same elephant at other times which could make him highly aggressive, but he's certainly not aggressive with his son Otto today as he's being very affectionate. The little baby elephant cuddles dad's tusks. Throwing his little trunk around it. Dad's big trunk wrapped around his son's head and touches the rest of him. The elephant calf runs towards the big tire has a little play. In the background you hear mother Temi slapping her ears against a metal door. It's time to go outside. When the little one finishes with the tire he runs back to dad and cuddles into his Dad's big tusks again. Just look at him run, just so cute. He runs towards the tire again but makes a quick turn to go to dad. When dad shows his leg, the baby does the same and lifts us his little leg and puts it on dad's leg. Otto was born on the 11th of November 2020 during the lockdown of the covid19 pandemic. His mum is called Temi and his dad is called Gajendra. He's a little cutie, very playful and loves learning from the adults.
