More buildings, more missions!

In which I launch the first Airship mission. Also, the Sawmill and underwater Mine get built.

In this episode, I add a mine and some lodgings to my base, as well as various infrastructure improvements.

New game, first episode! This is Diluvian Winds, a town and traveler management game that left Early Access on Steam a few weeks ago. I've played through the Story mode, so now I'm playing a Sandbox mode game in this new series.

In this episode, I discover that a "Breakthrough" is more than just filling up the Cultivation (xp) bar. I also need to cap out multiple skills. So, it's something to do in the future! I also used the Kitchen for my own purposes, for the first time. I bought a recipe for Veggie Congee, which is chopped bok choy, boiled with rice. There are two alternatives for cooking; one is to do each meal by hand, which is fun but time consuming. The other is to cook in batches, and take random quality in the results. So now I can cook for myself, and also to create gifts for my NPC friends.

In this episode, I get some crop work done, and progress on some side quests. Also, the Lecture Hall and the Fishery in the Sect are completed. I've pegged my Cultivation bar, which apparently means that I need to attempt a "Breakthrough".

In this episode, I made myself a Stone Mill, and completed reconstruction of the Northern Fishery, which is a fishing pier near the farm. I also did the usual daily activities of mining, farming, and working on quests.

In this episode, I have learned how to obtain Superior Stone! This unlocks some of the projects I want to build.

In this episode, the Main Hall of the Guiyan Sect is completed. This led to a number of new quests and activities and new constructions to do.

In this episode, I get the construction started on the Main Hall for the Guiyan Sect. I also spoke two the forest hermit, and learned something about the cooking game. I also found out how to get new recipes for my own use!

In this episode, I got my Workshop built, and this let me build my first real storage space, the Warehouse. The Warehouse is a building that I can place on the farm, and I belive I can build more of them if I choose to. I also followed a mystical 3-tailed fox to a mystical fire portal, and discovered a realm where magic fungus grow on the ground. A second trip to this mystical place revealed a new friend for the Sect; a woman from another world. I still haven't built the Main Hall for the Sect, that's got to be my next priority.

In this episode, I got my first tool improvement, the Good Axe. This enabled me to open up a passage to the Sunset Forest, where I discovered harvestable Bamboo. I also got started on gathering materials to create a Workshop.

I'm getting my bearings in this game. Along with the cooking and farming and fishing, I've done enough work to reach the basic rebuilding stage. I need to obtain enough materials (and funds) to get some basic buildings constructed, at the farm, the town, and the sect.

I'm starting a new game, called Immortal Life. This is another farm-life sim, but with an entirely different theme and a definitely different play style. In this episode, I go through the first hour or so of gameplay, hitting tutorials and acquiring beginning tools. I learn how to do the farming, fishing, and cooking mini games, how to use the map, home decor, and so forth. At first glance, this game looks great, I like the music and the gameplay, so I'm hoping to play this one for a long time.

I set up the expansion to my farming area. This will get used during the upcoming Winter season. I also do a little digging in the Water mine. Progress is slow but it is being made. I am going to start upgrading my tools to Silver level as soon as possible!

The Museum's "Pickstarter" campaign is completed. Aside from that, this episode is mostly errand running. The Fall season is approaching its end, so I'm making plans to expand the farming area, so I can get even more crops going in the future.

I did a little cave exploring in this session. Nothing happens in there, except that I'm picking up trash and related items while clearing the floor. Until the game notifies me that something else is in there, then it's just a resource. Kind of like stone gathering in the mines.

In this episode, I finally make it to the Merfolk kingdom, and get access to the deep ocean, and also gain permission to enter the underwater caves. I explored one of the caves briefly. The first few levels of the first cave act like the mines, i.e. you dig up resources to open the way to the next level. With the cave resources being trash instead of stones. I didn't go very far down, but there wasn't anything particularly interesting in the first few levels. My farm now has a Coop, and I bought a chicken and a duck. The main Ranch has other sorts of birds, so I imagine that I'll be able to level up the coop and possibly get access to more birds as I do further work on the island. The deep ocean is the same mechanic as the less-deep ocean, except the trash is harder to clear. This is obviously an incentive for me to upgrade my scythe tool.

This episode is mostly crops and coral, until the last day. The last day is the Harvest Festival, and I played it twice. This is because on the first go-around, I never found the place where the festival was held. This game could do a better job of making it obvious where you should go. The festival was good. I didn't score very well, but I'll be in better shape next year. Also, I bought a chicken coop from the carpenters! We'll see how long it takes them to construct it. Once that's done, I can start having chickens and ducks (and eggs) on my farm.

In this episode, I am in preparation for the upcoming Harvest Festival, by throwing most of my crops in a chest. Aside from that, it's more mining and coral today. Also, the "Pickstarter" campaign for the Museum kicks off.
