Here are some older Westinghouses that have been modded twice. Once in the Circa 1990's by Schindler with EPCO WGH fixtures, and again by Otis in 2011-2013 with their Micromotion3 Buttons and EPCO OIP lanterns (except the 3rd which has Innovation) on the outside, and generic Innovation Prestige on the inside. While generic, the mods are very strange, including High Rise which has an older Microwave Beep Floor Pass, which sounds similar to many 80's Otis Floor Pass chimes and threw me into confusion for a bit. These run fine overall, though the set of low rise are a bit inconsistent with choosing their elevators from a call. These were once Otises that were given a TXPress Mod with Adams fixtures. While the mod is fairly plain, I do like the color coded brailles on the Adams Classic Buttons! This is also my first time seeing Adams Classic in the field. While this garage is pretty easy to find, I would not film here as they have a No Photography sign that I may have missed by accident. lol While the inside buttons are a mis-match of replacements, these elevators run pretty well and are scenic. Each elevator has their own side machine room on the top, so this was way before they became True MRL. I went here in 2017 due to a school field trip to a Charlotte Hornets game, and now I am back! This place was once known as the EpiCentre, but is now known as Queen City Quarter. It will always be EpiCentre to me though. These were some Kone MonoSpaces with KSS 370 originally, but they were $5 Modded by Kone in 2012 with Innovation crap. These have scenic exteriors, but the cabs themselves are non-scenic. All floors have a mix of call stations, including original KSS 370, Innovation Bruiser, and the one I started with had a KSS 570 Call Station. These are very unimpressive and the one I got ran questionably. I do find it odd how they have Otis Series 6 Name Plaques though. Here is probably one of the many new Charlotte Office Buildings with Otis Gen3's we'll more than likely see constantly. I do really like the rustic designs of the cab and the custom 2825 South logo! These run a lot faster than the other Gen3's I have ridden, which all were 200 FPM compared to this set's 350 FPM speed. While I had plans on originally going next door to a new office building with a Brand New TK Endura with MAD Atoll, it was closed and instead I ended up here. This building is also known as the Steele Creek Medical Office Building. Here is another Endurable Fire Hazard MRL with the classic MAD Atoll/Signa4 combo fixtures. It runs a lot better than I expected, but a MR Endura would be a lot more safer. Makes me wonder if the new next door elevator in that new medical building is also MRL. Ahh yes, here are the main Publix elevators. These are some BIG BOIS with a capacity of 11,200 lbs! The size is really the only cool thing about these, as these are plain otherwise. They run and sound very questionable and are super busy despite there being 4 elevators, as seen in the video. Tucked in the back corner of the garage is a very exciting 330A that goes from the parking deck to the outside to some other shops near this Publix. No one has filmed this before to my shock, but it is indeed the elevator of all time! Joking aside, it actually runs shockingly well given how many newer 330A's sound and run like tin cans. You never know what you can find on Loopnet! This new office building was built last year and opened up sometime this year. They have the main parking elevators and the main office elevators (which I sadly could not access due to the 11th floor being locked off). The garage elevators are Otis Gen3's, which definitely doesn't sound so interesting until you realize that not only are the COP's more custom, but they come with Otis Compass 360 Destination Dispatch! These are super epic and sleek and seem to run very well. I have only came across Compass DD once (a Compass Plus on Hybrid Gen2 installs at a hotel), so it is nice to see it again in it's newest format! Definitely a must check out! What looks like your typical and boring New Gen3 has some interesting oddities. The main one is that the COP Panel and Hall Lanterns stick out more than they usually do, meaning they have surface mounted panels! I'm not sure if this is a custom feature or something new that Gen3's are doing, but I have never seen this before!
