Today is the start of the push to get the building furnished and we thought we were on the home stretch...

Progress! Electrical is done, all the holes in the wall are gone and every light turns on. I'm too excited to clickbait the title today!

We're getting close to setup! Prepping to start filling the units!

To get this building complete, we have to sometimes go to great lengths to get materials. This is one of those trips that took three days to finish.

Things are coming together! The inside of the building feels bigger, how?

Construction is just restarting after being shut down for a week because the area got hit with 3 feet of snowfall in about 24 hrs. Thankfully, we're almost ready for drywall!

Looking at the final configuration of the walls and watching some of the rough ins coming in.

Today was a big day getting to see the roughed in walls taking shape. Also had to rebuild the entire front corner of the building. This is the first time I've seen the layout in person after drafting it up almost a year ago.

We've reached the point where demolition has been completed, check out the bones of this old building as it starts going back together!

Today we take an excursion into the neighboring town of Deadwood to explore and then visit the building to see progress!

We finally started opening the walls of the building, only to discover that an entire corner of the building has rotted away.

Welcome! This is the first episode in our series. We quit our jobs, sold our house and moved 950 miles to rebuild this forgotten motel into something beautiful. Follow along as we either finish the project or go bankrupt! It'll be exciting!
