I ordered bearings for the 2018 XT250 Serow and it came with 2 bearings and 2 grease seals of the correct size for just under $10.

Magician 250 SwingArm Pivot Bolt - part 1
Nov 14, 2022 UNITED STATES
First off let me apologize for the audio cutting out the last minute of the video, turns out my new phone will do this and i have to let the video run a little longer before stopping it then edit the extra time out.
Key words to use on Ebay "Dirt Bike Axle SwingArm" either this exact way or a combination of it will work. the part came within a couple of days and was under $10
Bolt length is 255mm but i think the shortest you can go for the Magician is 245mm (not confirmed though)
bolt diameter is 12mm and the thread pitch is 1.25mm
M12x1.25mm - 255mm, make certain the nut it comes with says "locking"
Broke 18k miles
I was on a minor highway doing 55mph when the bolt head broke off and hit me on the ankle so i pull over to see if it came off my bike or maybe it was already on the road and got kicked up by my tire or from the other vehicles by me. I didn't notice it at first and even road it another 100 miles. It wasn't until I got home to check the tire pressure and lube the chain did i notice it. I am really lucky it didn't break where the swingarm pivots or i could of had an accident, there was still a little bit of the bolt that kept the everything aligned and working!

RPS Magician Throttle Assembly Replacement
Oct 25, 2022 UNITED STATES
For assured reliability I swapped out the bicycle cable repair I did in another video to new parts replacement although not OEM it did work and is now on the motorcycle. I would say that if you can get the "travel play" of the cable to 4.6 to 4.7 inches but if you can't find that 4.5 barely works as I had to use a plier to force the threaded end of the cable in to the throttle housing, I would prefer to have an adjustment but it is okay it works. The original OAL of the Magician was 39.75 inches I bought and used a 40 inch OAL with 4.5 inch travel. I couldn't find a cable to work with a threaded end of 8mm x 1.25mm the after market cables all seem to be 10mm x 1.25mm this forced me to buy a new throttle housing and a separate start switch. The wire colors for the starter switch is Black and Yellow/Red. The kill switch wire colors is Black/White and Green.
the last couple of minutes my phone muted the audio, i apologize most information is in this description area anyway.
Disclaimer: I am not a motorcycle mechanic anything I show is simply that me showing what I did to keep my motorcycle running. I am in no way saying this is the right way or even the only way to repair a motorcycle. If in doubt i suggest you take your motorcycle to a certified motorcycle mechanic and or to a certified motorcycle repair shop.

Magician 250, kick stand BROKE
7-30-2021 USA
Kick Stand / Side Stand broke. this isn't a fix it video, just showing what happened and possibly why it happened. i will in the near future get black pipe from the hardware store and replace this thinner tube the factory used for the kick stand, for now i will simply just weld it back on using a mig welder, it won't be stronger than the factory set up but it should work fine for a couple of months until the temperature here drops down below the 90f
i feel this part breaking was my fault and this video is just a heads up to let others know to keep an eye on this.

Magician 250 Loose Head Bolts
3-15-2023 Hey there, noticed oil leak and decided the head bolts are probably loose. 2 of 5 were indeed loose. Tightened them down to 20ft lbs as per net forum discussions. But specs are suppose to be 16ft lbs to 19ft lbs for the Honda CG125.
If the head gasket has been damaged from "blow by" then this might just be a temporary fix and the gasket will need to be replaced sooner or later. I will be ordering a head gasket for it just in case.
Update: 3-16-2023 the oil is already starting to dry up so with any luck everything is okay.

1-12-2022 This video is of me replacing some broken wheel spokes on my motorcycle. let start by saying THIS IS NOT A PROPER FIX nor is it a tutorial, this is just me replacing spokes that were broken. i chose to replace them with Japanese parts on my chinese motorcycle! my option at this point is to either start calling Ricky Power Sports (US import dealer) and see if they have the proper spokes OR i can order the Japanese wheel rim to match the spokes i bought from there. this is all very SKETCHY and is not by far the best way to address this wheel but i hope this will be only temporary if i can get the chinese parts. again NOT a repair, just spoke replacement and this is very sketchy.
i will be giving updates to this video if any failures or problems should arise. i will also be updating if the proper spokes can be bought and who i get them from.
disclaimer : i am NOT a mechanic nor have i been properly trained. this video is no way intended as a tutorial or even a guide for wheel repair. if in doubt about YOUR wheel i suggest you take it to a certified motorcycle mechanic at a proper repair shop.

13,161 miles as of Jan 12-2022
UPDATE: 1-13-2022 tuned it up, adjusted the chain slack and did a quick look over the bike. i did take it out for a quick ride and so far so good. i still feel uncomfortable with the just replacing the spokes without doing a proper repair but i will call RPS tomorrow or next week about chinese spokes for the bike. plan is to check the spokes every 100 miles till the next oil change then switch to checking the spokes every oil change (1,250mi). with any luck i will find the correct chinese spokes and if not then go with plan 2 and swap out the wheel rim with that of the Japanese one in which i will make a quick video of it.
UPDATE: 3-22-2022 been using my scooter more so than my Magician as I am STILL a little freaked out about using Tricker parts on my Magician, but I am now starting to use it more and more. I am now just shy of 14K miles and everything is fine still. 3k miles to go before the scheduled wheel spoke check and tightening as per manufacturers recommendation. Next month i will be purchasing an entire rear wheel assembly so keep an eye out for that video.

12-23-2021 Package of parts finally arrived! yay! it's been about a month since my bike broke and i haven't been able to use it. i spent a week trying to find parts locally and even online USA for it without luck. Anyway i was able to order parts from Japan and from the time i placed my order to it's arrival was about 3 weeks. This video explains the difference between the Magician spoke parts and the XG250 Tricker parts. but here are some dimensions....
part lengths seem to be exact as needed for repair
spoke wire diameter Magician 3.43mm vs Tricker 3.18mm
spoke thread pattern/pitch Magician .70mm vs Tricker .65mm (just a guess)
spoke Head Magician 6.5mm vs Tricker 6.4mm
spoke Nipple Head Magician 9.46mm vs Tricker 10.05mm
spoke Nipple over all length Magician 16.7mm vs Tricker 19.25mm
spoke angle (it is bent to fit wheel hub) Magician 17degrees vs Tricker 15degrees
2008 was the Tricker year i chose for parts
SOURCES i could get future Yamaha XG250 Tricker parts
en.impex-jp.com
motorcyclespareparts.eu/
bike-parts-yam.com/
orionpowersports.com/rps-magician-250-parts
japan.webike.net
most web sites wanted anywhere from $50 to $75 for delivery
Impex Japan had an ESTIMATED quote of $20, actual price depends on package weight mine turned out to be under $27
i have not ordered anything from the other sources so BUYER BEWARE !
Impex Japan
1. first off i had trouble getting together a parts order list, what fixed that was setting up an account with them so that should be first
2. once you do get an order list you will then need to pay for the parts (they make you pay for shipping once they know the actual weight of package)
3. they will email you status of your order, with indicators of
awaiting payment, cancelled, suspended, processing, in stock, awaiting shipment, shipped
4. check back every now or then and look for package status
5. when it reaches "awaiting shipment" status, they require payment of shipping
6. once it ships they will email you with tracking number and you will have to click the tracking number to get updates
7. last email they will send you is when the package is delivered

Magician 250 rear brake pads
Dec 18, 2022 UNITED STATES
Update: 10-17-23 @28,000 miles vs 19,000 miles, not even a year and the pads need to be replaced, they work just not as long as the originals. FYI keep an eye on them 7k miles.
Update: 12-24-2022 brake pads good so far, can't tell the difference.
2010 XG250 and 2018 XT Serow share the same Japan part number 3c5-25806-00-00 & 3c5-w0046-00-00. Cross reference. The problem THIS IS A MAGICIAN! Lol! so the part is slightly different but works okay.
Ebay merchants claim other motorcycles share the same part. 2004-2021 xt250, 1991-1997 wr250, 1991-1997 yz250. Among other bikes.
Klx650, klx250, dr650, LTA500 also appear to use a brake pad that resembles but I don't know if the dimensions are the same to fit the Magician, so beware.
Brake pad for Magician250 is 46mm (top to bottom) while the XG250 part is about 40mm.
Personal Note: old pad had 3mm left @ 19k miles. New pad material is 6mm thick, should be good for 30k to 40k miles.
