Wooo Hooo. First successful #MMU2S print. It’s a Sheep. Baaa !!!

Took a day to setup the Prusa MMU2S feeder. Starting to run it. This one is the second attempt to print the Sheep (multi filament)

Currently printing an Eclipson Wolf in blue PLA. Going well. On the 12th part.

Nuts

Came out nice. Overnight print

First print after the first big crash. So the Bond tech gear was not tight enough. It shifted back so the printer stopped extruding. With no extrusion the plastic overheated and melted to the tube. We had to disassemble the head, removed and replace the tube. Then go through all the calibration steps again. Finally back going again after a week of downtime.

Load filament into Original Prusa i3 MK3 1. Power on 2. Preheat filament 3. Press button, dial to Autoload filament 4. Press button 5. Insert filament into extruder 6. Remove purge material, check it is correct color. 7. If NO, dial to No and repeat 6. 8. If Yes, proceed to using printer.

13 hour print for Prusa Castle started

Insert nuts and screws into PRINTERBOX feet

1. Push button 2. Dial to unload filament 3. Push button 4. Wait for message to remove filament. 5. Remove filament.

Ordered the printer on Wed afternoon. It arrived Friday morning at 11:30. Set it up most of Friday evening and Sat First prints Sunday Afternoon (after church) Sunday was double check day. We found the filament sensor plugged into the wrong port. Startup checks found an x-axis travel problem. The tie-wraps on the extruder were preventing full travel. And the printer blower and the hotbed fan were ‘swapped’. (Swapped them twice…probably gave the wrong answer to the question the first time, so we had to swap back…) And then we had z-axis height issues. Adjusted the PINDA the wrong way.
