Van City Sinless RPG Table Teaser
Had a little fun putting together this teaser for my tabletop role-playing game crew. This is a mix of fan content recycled from years ago I edited with a different soundtrack to put a retro-1980s spin on our upcoming #SinlessRPG game and #VanCity, the #TTRPG cyberpunk fantasy setting we will develop in the future.

Building St. Makhab (GP Adventures Dungeon Map Time Lapse)
Video showcasing the evolution of the map of the surface level belonging to the Black Abbey of St. Makhab, based on the real world Mont Saint Michel located in Normandy, France. This classic tabletop role-playing dungeon is the third in line for GP Adventures, after the Marmoreal Tomb about to debut, and Nester's Folly, the Hobby Shop Dungeon to come.
"The Black Abbey of St. Makhab, home of the Order worshipping the patron of the same name, of the Obesti and the Night Legion. Along with Maeb Polard's House of Delights, the wandering Tower of Caercanis, the House of Wax and its legendary Miniatures Museum, the village provides all sorts of goods and services for the pilgrims who would pay a fee to the Black Monks and access the dungeons under the massive Abbatial Temple at the top of the mount."

Role-Playing the Sandbox: Successful Adventures (AD&D Excerpt)
Reading an excerpt from the Player's Handbook of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (1978) for purposes of further review, critic and commentary. The "Successful Adventures" passage is the most direct advice given by Gary Gygax to the players of the game. It is worth noting, and remembering.
This is directly related to our discussion of the Sandbox, and our video about the Lake Geneva Game Session here: https://rumble.com/v2ks2cm-role-playing-the-sandbox-the-lake-geneva-game-session.html

Role-Playing the Sandbox: The Lake Geneva Game Session
A description of the structure and particularities of a typical game session played at the table of Ernest G. Gygax Jr. and other Lake Geneva castles and campaigns for Table Role-Playing Games, including the original Dungeons & Dragons game of 1974 and its Advanced version.
If you want to know more about the structure of the game sessions that informed the Original D&D (1974) and 1st edition AD&D rules, or wonder how you can run a game week to week and not worry about the same players showing up to play the game or there's no game happening at all, this video is for you.

Tabletop RPG Talk: Tree of TSR D&D Editions and corresponding Retroclones
DIRECT LINK TO THE INFOGRAPHIC: https://imgur.com/ood9HhM
In this video, Ben presents an infographic I built to visually explain the relationship and connections between TSR Dungeons & Dragons editions, their various "straight" first generation clones, and the plethora of variants or "second gen" clones that followed.
The graphic is meant to be conveying info quickly and a conversation starter - it's not exhaustive, nor can it be.
First generation clone: a document meant to replicate the rules of an original TSR version of D&D via the System Reference Documents available under the Open Game License(s) available to the hobby.
Second generation clone: variants and derivations lifting open content from the first generation retroclones to create their own particular systems and/or core game settings.
