We had a GE Gas stove that just seemed like it probably wasn't going to work right. So we decided to do a quick test on the ignitor system to see if it works or not. If you own a basic multimeter, this quick and easy test will show you if the affordable ignitor is bad, or if you may have other, more expensive problems. Once we tested the GE oven ignitor and determined it was bad, I went ahead and replaced it to show you the difference before and after of what a good/bad system looks like to help you understand what to look for even if the ignitor seems to glow, but not fuel the system to heat your oven. We've been looking for a way to remove mold from a washer door boot seal for a very long time. We've tried many alleged remedies and tried a new one, documenting it in the entire process. It worked extremely well, and here are the results for you to see. Note that the chemicals used in this are pretty strong, so take all precautions and ensure you do not let them stay in the washing machine for very long due to their caustic nature. As mentioned near the end, you can always remove the door boot seal prior to using the chemicals. However, since I wasn't sure this was going to work, I went ahead and tried the solution on the unit itself to great results. There is a known defect with many modern GE Washing Machines like the one in the video. I've been asked hundreds of times "What appliance should I buy if I want it to last longer than what I already have?" Well, here you go. Today, we got a Kenmore branded gas stove that won't heat in the oven, so I decided to test and fix it on camera. I go over the entire troubleshooting process of things to check to be comprehensive, and also give you some tips on the Frigidaire Oven Igniter replacement we used in the video, as the OEM version would have been way over $100. If you need to convert your stove from natural gas to propane, its not too hard but is very daunting without knowing the exact steps.
