If I Am Living in Sin, Then Do I Have the Right to Assurance?
The Bible is clear that many are deceived into thinking that they are saved when they truly are not. Others believe they are not saved when they truly are. So how can one truly know if they are saved when in the middle of unrepentant sin? Should that person blindly trust that they are or should they question their salvation? Does this mean someone can lose their salvation? Find out on this episode of Bible Bashed.

If We Have Male Elders Then Do We Really Need More Lady Bible Teachers?
The Bible is clear that women cannot be pastors in any context and yet people insist now more than ever that we must have female pastors to hear scripture from their perspective. In this episode Harrison and Tim will explain why this is a faulty premise that needs to be ignored.

Should We Be Worried about ChatGPT?
A.I. has long been the subject of many sci-fi novels, movies, and short stories. These stories often revolve around the heights A.I. could take us to while also asking how powerful they can become before we unwittingly hand them the keys to everything and suddenly become their subjects. Watch as Conley Owens joins us to discuss how Christians should view inventions like ChatGPT and if they are the forerunners to a sinister future in which A.I. rules over man or simply a helpful tool to wield.

How Long Will It Be Before the First Megachurch Pastor AI-Sermon Scandal?
AI is a topic that has become increasingly popular over the last few years but it is not without its' downfalls. Many have reservations over what AI might become and how it might be abused. With the recent coming to light that some big name pastors are more than content to have others do all their studying for them how likely is it that they eventually resort to AI so they don't have to spend time studying the Scriptures for themselves? What are the issues of using AI to help your study? Find out in this episode of Bible Bashed.

Are People Who Use The Phrase, "You Hurt My Feelings," Emotional Tyrants?
"You hurt my feelings is a common phrase used when someone does something that you really didn't appreciate. However, something more than a simple statement is being made with that phrase. What is being implied in the phrase is an accusation of wrong doing and a subtle demand for an apology. Is that an appropriate response to hurt feelings? Should we blame others for the way we feel? Can we help the way we feel? Are we in control of our emotions? Does God hold us accountable for our emotional responses to others? Find out on this episode of Bible Bashed.

Is It Sinful to Do Something Unwise?
The Bible teaches us that we should have a category for sinful actions, thoughts, and desires. Scripture also teaches us that we must have a category for wise and unwise. They are separate categories that must be handled in different ways, however, sometimes we get confused when trying to determine if something is sinful or unwise. Some people have such a hard time with this wise/unwise category that they begin to claim unwise actions are sinful. Are they right? Do unwise actions equal sinful ones? Should we repent for unwise actions? Should we tell others to repent? Should we make rules to protect everyone from unwise decisions? Find out on this episode of Bible Bashed.

Does the Bible Teach Mutual Submission?
Mutual submission between a husband and wife is a teaching that is becoming more and more commonplace in the evangelical world. People often point to Ephesians 5:21 as a biblical argument for mutual submission. So if the Bible tells us to submit to one another, why is mutual submission a wrong interpretation? Why can't a husband submit to his wife? What is the correct interpretation of Ephesians 5? What does the rest of the Bible have to say on this subject? Find out on this episode of Bible Bashed.

Is Slavery Objectively Wrong?
Slavery is a subject that carries a lot of baggage in modern society, and yet slavery still exists to a much larger degree than it ever has in human history. Most people would simply say that slavery is morally wrong and there is no discussion to be had. The issue is that the Bible not only does not give any sort of similar statement declaring slavery to be immorally wrong, but it even goes so far as to provide a robust code for how the Israelites were supposed to handle their own slaves. If the Bible does not out right condemn slavery, and even regulates slavery, should Christians condemn all forms of slavery as wrong? Are there certain forms of slavery that God does still view as immoral? How does our stance on this subject effect our ability to defend the inerrancy of Scripture? We will answer all these questions and more on this episode of Bible Bashed.

Is Masculinity a Fruit of the Spirit?
A recent argument against masculinity is the claim that masculinity is not one of the fruits of the Spirit and, therefore, not worth pursuing. Furthermore, some claim that there is no evidence of masculinity in the New Testament. We decided to address both claims in this episode and explain why they are both foolish and demonstrate a certain level of Biblical illiteracy.

Is It Biblically Permissible to Divorce Wife Beaters?
Divorce has become a completely normal and acceptable option in marriages that are struggling. In the case of a marriage with an abusive husband divorce is not only acceptable but seen as the only option. However, the Bible only gives two reasons for divorce that are acceptable and physical abuse is noticeably missing from that list. Why is this? Was physical abuse not a problem before the 21st century? Should Christians be allowed to divorce their abusive spouses? Are there other options they might have beyond divorce. We will answer all these questions and more on this episode of Bible Bashed.

Is It Sinful to Shack Up If Everyone Promises To Be Celibate?
The claim is made that when it comes to marriage you need to "try it before you buy it." This sentiment is unfortunately, even echoed in Christian circles. After all there is no passage of scripture that states "Thou shalt not shack up." If that is the case how should we view a couple that lives together outside of marriage that promises to remain celibate? Is there sin there? Are there any relevant commands to this situation? Is it sinful, unwise, or totally ok? Find out on this episode of Bible Bashed.

Should Christians Rejoice at The Death of A Pope?
With the passing of Pope Benedict XVI many Christians find themselves asking "How should I feel about this?" They are torn between joy that he can no longer teach falsely, but also saddened knowing that ultimately he will be in Hell for eternity suffering for his sin. What does the Bible counsel us to do in this situation? Should we be joyful? Saddened? Both? Find out on this episode of Bible Bashed.

Is Cremation Permissible for Christians?
Cremation has become an increasingly popular alternative to traditional burial but is it something Christians should be ok with? This debate has only surfaced in modern times as before this the only acceptable form of funeral for a Christian was traditional burial. In fact every positive treatment of a deceased person in scripture involves burial. Why has cremation become popular? Is there any room for in the Christian worldview? People Do Not Understand What Biblical Rebuke Is!
The Bible tells us many times of people who rebuked others. It even goes as far as to paint this rebuking in a positive light most of the time. However, our current society views rebuke as a bad word that you should never do. We view rebuke as unloving. We have obviously lost the true meaning of the word rebuke and need to become comfortable with it again.

Is Biblical Stoning An Objectively Better Form of Capital Punishment Than What We Currently Have?
Is capital punishment something we should use in today's society for the most heinous of crimes? Should capital punishment be done in the most humane way possible? What is the purpose of capital punishment? Is it only to punish the criminal or is it also supposed to teach society of the consequences for specifically horrific crimes? Should Christians be ashamed of the biblical stoning? We will answer all these questions and more on this episode of Bible Bashed.

Is It Loving to Rebuke My Wife?
Recently we ran a twitter poll asking whether or not a husband should rebuke his wife if she is obese. Many people who agree with us on many different issues voted yes, a husband should confront his wife for being obese. However, they added in the caveat that they didn't like the word rebuke and preferred confront or encourage. They felt that the word "rebuke" was too harsh. In light of that we wanted to have a discussion on this word and see if it is in fact too harsh or a word that we all need to reintroduce into our vocabulary.
