Is It Biblical to Pray For the Past?
Is it biblical to pray for past events? Join the Bible Bashed podcast as we explore the idea of retroactive prayer and its place in Christian faith. #retroactiveprayer #prayer #faith #Christianity #pastevents #BibleBashedPodcast
----------------------------------
In this episode of the Bible Bashed podcast, we explore the idea of retroactive prayer and its place in Christian faith. Is it biblical to pray for past events? While there are no clear examples of people praying for the outcome of past events in the Bible, we delve into the potential reasons why someone might feel the need to do so. However, we argue that it is better to pray for God's help in accepting what has taken place in the past, such as with the eternal fate of a loved one. This allows us to focus on the present and trust in God's plan for our lives, rather than dwelling on what we cannot change. We discuss the importance of prayer in general and explore different ways in which prayer can be used to help us navigate life's challenges. Join us as we consider the question of whether it is biblical to pray for past events and provide insight into how we can use prayer to find peace and acceptance in our lives.

----------------------------------
On this episode of Bible Bashed Podcast, we tackle the question of whether women should wear makeup. The use of makeup to some is a complex topic to some, but what does the Bible say about it?
We explore the biblical perspective on beauty and how it relates to makeup. We also consider the cultural factors that influence women's choices to wear makeup. We discuss the potential downsides of makeup, including the pressure to always look perfect and the risk of it becoming an unhealthy obsession.
Ultimately, we conclude that it is perfectly fine for women to pursue beauty through applying makeup. While it is important to avoid excessive or unhealthy use of makeup, there is nothing inherently evil about it. In fact, the Bible even mentions the use of makeup in a neutral light (Esther 2:12).

Is Cultural Christianity a Good Thing?
Is cultural Christianity a blessing or a curse? Join us on the Bible Bashed podcast as we examine the pros and cons of this popular phenomenon.
In this episode of the Bible Bashed podcast, we tackle the controversial topic of cultural Christianity and whether or not it is a good thing. There are many who argue that cultural Christianity is nothing more than a watered-down version of the faith, lacking in true spiritual depth. However, we take a different stance and argue that cultural Christianity is, in fact, a good thing.
One of the main reasons why we believe cultural Christianity is a good thing is because it helps society conform more closely to a biblical worldview. This affects the way families raise their children, the way governments write and implement laws, and what a culture values and condemns. By promoting a Christian culture, we can instill important values such as love, forgiveness, and compassion into the fabric of society.
Another benefit of cultural Christianity is that it provides a sense of community and shared values. When people come together to celebrate their faith, they form bonds that can be incredibly powerful. This sense of community can help people feel less isolated and alone in a world that can often be harsh and unforgiving.
Of course, there are some who argue that cultural Christianity can be harmful, leading to a shallow understanding of faith and a lack of true spiritual growth. While there is certainly some truth to this, we believe that it is possible to strike a balance between cultural Christianity and a deep, personal relationship with God.
In the end, we believe that cultural Christianity is a good thing for society as a whole. By promoting a Christian culture, we can help create a more loving, compassionate, and just world. We encourage our listeners to join us as we explore this controversial topic and discover the many ways in which cultural Christianity can have a positive impact on our lives and the world around us.

A Good Woman Doesn't Want Her Husbands Help with The Dishes
"Is it a wife's duty to do the dishes alone? Join us on Bible Bashed Podcast as we discuss whether a good wife wants her husband's help with chores." #genderroles #householdchores
In this episode of Bible Bashed Podcast, we explore the question of whether a good wife wants her husband's help with household chores, specifically with doing the dishes. While some may argue that sharing household chores is a sign of a healthy and equal partnership, others believe that a wife's role in the home is distinct from her husband's and that she should not expect him to help with tasks like washing dishes.
The argument against husbands helping with household chores is rooted in the belief that husbands are expected to provide for their families by working a job outside the home. Just as it would be inappropriate for a husband to constantly ask his wife to help him with his job, some Christians believe that a wife's job in the home should be viewed in a similar light. They argue that a wife's role is to manage the household, raise children, and support her husband's work, while her husband's role is to provide for the family financially.

Should Christians Welcome Transvestites into Their Worship Services?
"Is the church unloving if it excludes transvestites? Join us on Bible Bashed Podcast as we discuss the controversial topic." #transgender #church
In this episode of Bible Bashed Podcast, we explore the question of whether transvestites should be allowed in church. While some may argue that the church should be open and welcoming to all, allowing transvestites individuals to attend services goes against the teachings of the Bible.
The argument against transvestites attending church is rooted in the belief that their dress demonstrates bad faith and demands that Christians overlook what the Bible has to say about men dressing like women. Allowing transvestites to attend church while openly flaunting their sin is akin to allowing a nudist into a service without clothes or a KKK member to attend while wearing their robe.
Christians believe that the Bible does clearly speak to the importance of adhering to traditional gender roles. This belief is based on passages such as Deuteronomy 22:5, which states that “a woman shall not wear a man's garment, nor shall a man put on a woman's cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.”
However, others wrongly argue that the Bible’s teachings on love, acceptance, and inclusivity should take precedence over these gender-specific passages. They argue that the church should be a place where all are welcome, regardless of their gender identity or expression. Their concepts of love and acceptance do not match up with the Bible's definition of love as love does not affirm people in their sin.
Ultimately, transvestites should be allowed in church so long as they are willing to dress according to their actual sex and not the one they pretend to be. Join us on Bible Bashed Podcast as we explore this topic.

Is Cultural Appropriation Sinful?
On this episode of The Bible Bashed Podcast, we delve into the controversial topic of cultural appropriation and its moral implications. #culturalappropriation
On this episode of the Bible Bashed Podcast, we take a closer look at the controversial topic of cultural appropriation and its impact on our society. While some argue that cultural appropriation is a form of disrespect towards marginalized communities, we explore the idea that it can actually be a sign of respect towards other cultures.
Through our research, we examine how cultural exchange and celebration can promote cross-cultural understanding and appreciation. We also consider the role that the Bible plays in discussions of cultural appropriation and how it encourages us to love our neighbors and treat others with respect, including learning about and celebrating their cultures.
Ultimately, we conclude that the morality of cultural appropriation depends on the intent behind it. If done with a genuine desire to appreciate and learn from other cultures, it can be a positive and respectful practice. However, if done in a way that dehumanizes others, it can be disrespectful.
Join us on this thought-provoking episode as we explore the complex issue of cultural appropriation and its impact on our society.

Should a Man with a Therapy Animal Be Told to Man Up?
Join us for a lively discussion on whether men with therapy animals should "man up" on this episode of The Bible Bashed Podcast. Don't miss it!
In this episode of The Bible Bashed Podcast, we dive into the controversial topic of men with therapy animals and whether they need to "man up." While many people see therapy animals as a legitimate form of support for individuals struggling with mental health issues, the reality is, men who rely on these animals are not living up to their God-given roles as leaders and protectors.
We explore this topic through the lens of 1 Corinthians 16, where Paul urges men to act like men, be strong, and stand firm in their faith. Paul's message is one of courage and strength, emphasizing that men should be leaders and protectors of their families and communities.
We discuss whether therapy animals fit into this biblical model of masculinity, and whether men who rely on them are failing to live up to their responsibilities as leaders and protectors.
Therapy animals should not be seen as a replacement for God's plan for masculinity. Men are called to be strong and courageous in their faith.
Join us on The Bible Bashed Podcast as we explore this controversial topic and dive into what it means to be a man of faith in today's world.

Is Absolute Truth a Lie?
Get ready to delve into the controversial topic of absolute truth and lies. Reformed Christians weigh in on the Bible Bashed Podcast. Tune in now!
In a world where truth seems to be subjective and relative, the question of whether absolute truth exists remains a hotly debated topic. As Reformed Christians, we firmly believe that absolute truth exists and comes from God and His Word.
Join us on the Bible Bashed Podcast as we explore this thought-provoking topic in depth. We'll discuss the nature of absolute truth, where it comes from, and why it's important. We'll also tackle the common objections raised against the existence of absolute truth, including postmodernism and moral relativism.
At the core of our belief in absolute truth is the belief that God is the source of all truth. As the Bible tells us, "Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth" (John 17:17). God's Word provides us with a solid foundation for understanding the world and our place in it. Without the belief in absolute truth, we are left adrift in a sea of relativism, where right and wrong are determined by personal preferences rather than objective standards.
We'll also examine the role of lies in our world, and how they can undermine our understanding of truth. Lies can be insidious and dangerous, leading us away from God and His Word. As Christians, we are called to be discerning and to seek out the truth in all things.
So join us on the Bible Bashed Podcast as we explore the fascinating topic of absolute truth. We'll provide you with the tools you need to navigate a world that seems increasingly hostile to the idea of absolute truth.

Is Surrogacy Worse Than The Gospel Coalition?
Every human life is sacred and the family is an essential building block of society, designed by God to reflect His love and grace. Surrogacy and in-vitro fertilization (IVF) involve the manipulation and commodification of human life and go against the biblical understanding of the sanctity of life and the nature of the family.
Surrogacy involves the use of a third-party woman to carry and give birth to a child, often created through IVF. This process can involve the creation and manipulation of multiple embryos, some of which may be discarded or frozen for later use, treating human life as disposable and failing to recognize the intrinsic value of each individual created in the image of God.
Furthermore, surrogacy can lead to a commodification of the human body and the creation of contractual arrangements that reduce human life to a commodity to be bought and sold. This undermines the biblical understanding of human dignity and the value of every person as a unique creation of God.
Similarly, IVF involves the creation and manipulation of human embryos in a laboratory, which separates the unitive and procreative aspects of sexual intercourse, designed by God to be intimately connected within the context of marriage.
Surrogacy and IVF dishonor God by disregarding the sanctity of human life, the natural order of His design, and the dignity of the human person. Instead, we should trust in God’s sovereignty and seek to build families through adoption or other means that align with His principles of love, grace, and redemption, and honor the value and dignity of every human life.
