Instructions to make the revised lid on the Extreme Long Langstroth

Thanks to some kids in the Medford High School beekeeping class, the lid was closed accidentally with the pin in it. This messed up the hinges and led to a better design. Since Medford is home of the Raiders, I'm honoring them by calling it the Raider Modification ;)

Trying a new experiment over the next 12 months. Wider frame holders using standard size lumber!

The high school had an incident with the roof on the Parkinson Hive. Minor design change coming. Here's the damage. Every year the school gets new inexperienced bee keepers to teach so mistakes are bound to happen. In this case, trying to close the lid without removing the stop pin ;)

I continue the forensics on the dead out and try to gather more evidence on why the colony failed.
