While you may think that you know everything there is to know about your beliefs, here are some truths about beliefs that might surprise you.
1) Beliefs can change. It's true! Your beliefs will never be the same as they were yesterday, or even an hour ago. They constantly evolve and change as new information comes in and your life experiences happen.
2) Beliefs aren't necessarily rational. Sometimes, our minds make decisions based on beliefs that don't make logical sense—and even though those decisions might seem weird or illogical at first, it's important to remember that our brains are constantly working to protect us from harm and danger. Your brain is doing its best to keep you safe! So if you have a belief that doesn't make sense but makes you feel safe or happy, keep it! That's not a bad thing at all!
3) Beliefs aren't always the truth, but they lead us toward truth. Sometimes our minds try to protect us by telling us things that aren't true—like "I'm not smart enough" or "I'm not good enough."
The study of beliefs is a serious and worthwhile pursuit. It allows us to delve into the minds of our fellow humans and understand how we can become better at communicating our own beliefs to others.
Hopefully, you'll be able to take away new and insightful ideas about beliefs from this video and brief description. But even if you disagree with our conclusions, this research deserves your attention. And, in the end, we can all benefit from learning more about what beliefs are—and what they aren't.

Avocado chips are a great everyday snack that is easy to make. All you need is a little bit of time to prepare this recipe!
INGREDIENTS
One small avocado
1/2 cup grated parmesan
One teaspoon of lemon juice or lime juice
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon tarragon
pinch of sea salt to flavor
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
Prepare a baking pan with parchment paper.
Add avocado, lime juice, or lemon juice to a food processor or a bowl.
Add grated cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, tarragon, and salt to taste.
Process until well combined. Blend for about 30 seconds until smooth and creamy.
Measure out teaspoonsful onto baking pan, leave 3-4 inch space between each scoop.
Flatten each teaspoon of avocado mixture to make a slight circular crisp of 3-4 inches in width.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, flip each avocado crisp and finish baking for an additional 30 minutes. Each side should be crisp, brown, and baked until done.
Remove crisp from oven and place on a cooling rack so the crisps can cool and get crispy.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature. These excellent snacks are best eaten on the same day of cooking.
