But Those Who Wait
#wrble #werisebyliftingothers
It's fitting in a way, as I sit here uploading this, same night I recorded them so I could have them up and not have it be at like 5 at night pst, I am rejoicing because as I sit here with The LORD I can breath and rest and peace, not because I am "sitting" as in on my tookis, rather because I am 'sitting' dwelling with, resting in, resting in. I trust that HE is true to HIS word so I can wait and rest in HIM, knowing peace and finding rest by the grace and gentleness of HIS hand.

Shining Like the Moon, Reflecting The SON
To love GOD is to love others, if we are to love GOD, Whom we cannot set, we must first love those who we can, for if we cannot and will not love those we can see, those made in HIS image, by HIS hand, (all people) each hair numbered and place known, each moment seen, each cell known, how could we possibly say we love HIM? Is the artist not greater than their work? Does the artist not love their art and sharing it as part of who they are. We get this nature of somewhere, would it not be the nature of The One who made us, shaped us, forms and formed us, and knows us by name? Think about the blessing the person is, rather than "the curse" "they" "feel" to be. (Cause the other person is a blessing, everyone is someone else's other, and feeling aren't wrong, they can interpret incorrectly though) Think about the wonder each person is while sinking HIS praise rather than disregarding "the other" and abusing The Name.

Have you never heard? (Isaiah 40:22-29)
#werisebyliftingothers #wrble
Life isn't fair. No one said it would be. GOD isn't fair, HE is just though and HIS way of doing it is not our way of doing it, HIS thoughts are not our thoughts and HIS way of doing it is drastically different from our own, so much so as to as far as the heavens are above the earth so HIS ways are different from our own.
HE doesn't look down on us for it, rather HE embraces us for it and makes us for such a time and place as this moments, among peoples, generations, and lives, and welcomes us to join the dance, the garden digging fun, so that we can live in the not and not yet places; knowing we are ever seen, ever loved, ever heard.

Temporary and Eternity (Isaiah 40:6-8)
Hevel, hevel, everything is hevel. -Ecc.
It's Abel's name in Hebrew, temporary/fleeting indeed. Though man was meant to live forever, that's not how it plays out. We live on this side of the rupture between the two realities, we don't need to stay on this side. As JESUS brought heaven to earth, as we dwell in HIM, we can live in heavenly places, even here on earth. Can have an eternity perspective even when life is temporary and fleeting. Not a place of permanent sorrow rather one of hopeful joy. Not in the vent, rather in The ONE Who controls the outcome. We are fleeting, HIS words last forever. When The Word Made Flesh dwells in us, our lives no longer our own but HIS life lived out in ours, we can know that though this life is fleeting, eternity is not and we focus on where we live from and for, not this temporary thing. Hevel gave all, Hevel gave best, Hevel was given praise because Hevel's perspective was getting back into the center of the garden, not just living on the edge of the land called Eden.

What's In The Heart. (Isaiah 39:1,8; 2Chronicles 32:31)
#werisebyliftingothers #wrble #hopeandafuture #isaiah
Like from Se7en, "What's in the box?!" What's in the heart? Jeremiah speaks says it is a place of deceit, who can understand it, after Noah gets off the boat and sacrifices without being asked, God says that evil is the human way and wiping us out every time we get to that point wouldn't work to keep to HIS main want of doing it with us. So, something has to change. Fundamentally. Otherwise we are repeating the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. JESUS' sacrifice is once and for all, for all before the cross and all after it, so any heart that looks to HIM, looks to HIS way of doing it will live. Very much reminiscent of Moses and the bronze snake on the stick, no? GOD wanted to see what was in Hezekiah's heart, as a reader, we get to see what is in ours. Do we go to Hezekiah and say, "Moron!" Or do we have a humbled pride moment and thank GOD for all the times we have done the same and HE has been gentle with us. When the heart was focused on the game, the chore, the next thing to do, the next pleasure sought rather than seeking the Healer. Focusing on the temporary things rather than the eternal ones. The longer we do that, get obsessed with and focused on our own creation, the harder it is to remember that we are created. Spend enough time looking at "your own kingdom" and eventually it becomes "look what I have wrought."

Living Prayer
The Word often speaks of our lives being a living sacrifice, a testimony of what we believe; sweet incense to The LORD.
Please here me, I am not saying "get this perfect" hell, I don't know that there is such a thing outside of The Perfect ONE and HE is rather forgiving, HE wants us, the baggage HE will carry if we let HIM. I am saying that it's only in an active relationship that we are invested in that said relationship grows. The focus here is what we are getting out of it. Is the point of relationship a thing out of it or the relationship itself? If it's a thing then it's not a relationship, it's a business transaction (and when sex becomes a currency in marriage, it's no longer the end result of the love the two of you share). We had/have that one once: Abraham, an agreement. The laws of Moses, the marriage vows. The point: Song of Songs. To chase after as we are chased after. That we truly can have Genesis walks in the garden, even when though we're *not* in The Garden. It's a rough one to self reflect on, sometimes, but it's one we need to do so that we can answer ourselves honestly, and be real with GOD when we get to the question we will ask as we wrap up this week: What's in the heart? Relationship Life or Lip-service Living?

Letting-out The Lament (Isaiah 38:9-14)
#wrble #werisebyliftingothers
Lamentations 3:22-23 New International Version. 22 Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
In a scroll (book as we know today) filled with wild weaping and unrestrained sorrow stands a few words that shine as a beacon of light around which the whole of the sorrow is let free from the soul, "Great is Your faithfulness." Letting out all the sorrow, and right there just above, remembering who GOD is. Acknolwodging the problems and then reminding them just how big GOD is. The creator of reality can always write something new, write something more. Will we be ink worth writing in with the way we love others or will we be consumed by self. A question that we, and Hezekiah, will wrestle with this week.
Hold onto your butts folks, we're going for the heavy stuff this week.

Fear Not the Arrogant and Proud. (Isaiah 37:5-7)
#wrble #werisebyliftingothers
We live in a world of talking heads, constant noise, and all of it in devotion of making humans hate and fear each other. Fear this! Hate them! Voices that will try to insight Cain to brain Abel and Abel to brain Cain. Words that kill rather than heal. We do not play that game. We trust that our ABBA has it. HE did with Saul, with Ahab (1Kings 22:22-28 is what I was alluding to in the video), with Sennacherib here, with Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel 4:28-33), as HE will do now and in the future, even until the lying depraved beast of the sea (Revelation 13-21). We live in the now and the not yet. We can either bow to earthen goats and seaborne beasts or we can praise The ONE Who Was, and Is, and Is to come. We are finite, GOD is infinite. Our focus can either be finite or infinite. HIS Kingdom or the kingdoms and ways of this world. The choice is ours, the miracles are HIS.

Seek while it can be sought. (Isaiah 36:22ish-37:4)
#wrble #werisebyliftingothers
Have hope this day and through this weekend. I know the that there have been threats, and there will always be threats. May not be from the same flesh and blood, it will always be from the same enemt though. The enemy of all life and father of lies that would seek to destroy that which lasts forever: Faith, Hope, and Love. With the greatest of these being "Love" why would the target-aim not be to make the hearts of many grow cold. A warning JESUS gives us about that very thing happening.
So who's Kingdom will it be?

Hezekiah's Story: Assyrian Threats (2 Kings 18:19-37)
#wrble #werisebyliftingothers
Sometimes, in the moment, the enemy's words can come across, sound like, or feel to be genuine threats. A false distraction made to instill fear. Looking back, like in Chronicles, it's easier to see it for the white noise it truly was even if in the moment it caused great distress. Seeking GOD'S aid, when HE happily pours it out on those who seek HIM, would it not be prudent in a world that seeks after only itself and to please the father of all lies that would kill, steal, and destroy all that is worth and has value.

Often the outside will offer comments on things they know nothing about it. Be it the rabshakeh here or Job's friends. Seeking GOD, Seeking first HIS Kingdom, that's the way to live. More so in a world that confused man made things for real ones.

False gods. (Isaiah 36:16-22ish)
Closer to 21 as I want to circle back Friday to regain the image of where we are going from, fear, sorrow defeat, and Hezekiah running to GOD rather than trusting in his own wisdom. Much like Solomon that, seek wisdom from the source of it. The world will use tricks and tactics to make you do what it wants. Don't believe me, watch video names and titles, here on YT, the news, Rumble, anywhere, watch the titles, watch and listen for repeated ideas. "Fear, war, hate, unprecedented, catastrophe, there are many more, some that can cause videos to get flagged, some that get your removed, and some that are going to get you pushed to the front of the line. Worldly manipulation isn't our game and we don't play its ways. Start to notice these things, start to notice the agenda: What do they want from you or you to do? Sometimes its as innocuous as "Buy our s***" other times it will try and pull churches in half and prayer teams apart. The world wants us to do it its way, we simply and respectfully say, "No." Even if it costs us our lives. After all, what's your integrity worth?

What is Righteous Anger?
It's easy to get into a huff when things are going bad. What are we going to do about it? Seek vengeance? Hold onto the wrath and the pain? Let it go and do nothing? Or shall we seek to fix that which set us off? Society okay messing with kids? Start up something so they have a place to go. Show the world what HE has done for us by living it out. Being the change we wish to see, being the change out in the world that has already begun in us. Walking out the miracle of being a New Creation. Anything less... is it not repudiating grace? Anything else, is it not hypocrisy, talking out one side of the mouth curses and praises out the other. Bible Work is anything for the Betterment, Benefit, or Beautiment of another person. What work have you done today?

The King's Watchmen. (Isaiah 36:11-15)
When the King places a watchmen somewhere they will have the strength to do it, for they have the call to do it. Some watchmen throw insults back, some cower in fear, like the administrator, the secretary, and the historian. The three closest in position being farthest in understanding. The watchmen placed here did as they were commanded by their king. In this case it was to be silent.. What is HE calling you to do? What work, to cultivate the garden, has HE called you to do this week? This day? This moment? Even if it's just to breath and remember you've got this because HE'S Got you.

Assyrian Taunts (Isaiah 36:7-10)
#wrble #werisebyliftingothers #hopeandafuture #strengthfortoday
Initially I was thinking about doing vv 10 by itself, and talking about that whole idea of claiming to be sent and it dawned on me was I was talking, and refined as I upload, that talking at it like that would just come across as more of the same, "I'm right, you're wrong" rhetoric and that's not my aim nor is it my want, ever. JESUS is right. The world will claim to do it in His name, the way it looks tells the difference, Matthew 24-25 (25:31-43 especially) speak on that one clear enough. Other places too, we've just gone through Matthew together. The world throws shade and we rest in HIS love. When we enemy taunts, we refuse to play its game.

Value: More Than Money (Worth more than Gold.)
#wrble #werisebyliftingothers #faithfortomorrow #strengthfortoday
Imagine a world where we did "it" whatever "it" may be because it was the right thing to do. Don't need to be told to help the person pick up their dropped stuff, we do it because it's the right thing to do. No airs, no false forms, just living the right way. When we see videos of it it warms our hearts and gives us hope for society, what if we all took the initiative and did that ourselves, even just once a day for one other person, how much different would the world be? One Act of Random Kindness at a time that puts another first. Being the change we want to see in the world, because I truly believe if we saw just how beautiful each life is, including our own, we wouldn't jump at the chance just to see the world made brighter when creatures of stardust truly start to shine.

Well Duh. (Isaiah 36:4-6)
#wrble #werisebyliftingothers #hopeandafuture
Some times the enemy will taunt us with things we already know, as if trying to twist words and ideas where ever it can. Be it the shame throwing snake in the garden or this shame throwing middle-man outside the laundry pool. World screams about the horsemen: War, conquest, famine, death, and we say, "Well Duh. Still got three seals to go." The world shouts it all coming to an end, we know it ain't over till our KING returns. The enemy says grow cold so the world grows dim, and we say, "Well Duh." Because our KING told us, the hearts of many would grow cold in the last days, (Earth getting warmer, people getting colder, that's funny.) so rather than fear, like those who came before us, we pray. We pour it out like Habakkuk, we lament like Jeremiah, we're real like Job, we trust like David, we believe like Abraham.
Cause The Word says, "When trials come... I will be with you" "When they piss you off...I can give you peace, if you will have it." "When the world grows...you will not." "When the world gropes blindly... you shall see." "When you return... you will know Me by Name." IAM-that-IAM. HE Will Be. YHWH

Meeting a "greedy" person to the Scrooge level is hard to find, more so when a lot of them learn to act unlike Scrooge to pass buck cause greed isn't a person it's a state of the heart. A state that cannot ever have "enough" because it doesn't know what "enough" is. Greedy lives often becoming blackholes to those around them. Energy, time, life, always taking and never giving back. I'm sure you've heard it preached on at least one pulpit of being doers of the word not just hearers. Being part of the body not just filling a seat every Sunday and having sermons go in one ear and out the other. A life that can do that is one that knows what it is to be sated, a life that does that naturally is one shaped by HIS hand for more.

Hezekiah's Story: Assyria Invades! (2 Chronicles 32:1-8)
#wrble #werisebyliftingothers #biblereading
Chapter 32 begins with the Assyrian Invasion as King Sennacherib of Assyria crashing through the smaller fortified towns of Judah and making to lay siege against Jerusalem herself; quickly readying his armies to prepare for battle and reminding them that it is not they who fight this war, rather it is The LORD who '"will fight our battles for us!'"

Hezekiah's Story: Judah Invaded, Assyria Has Come. (2 Kings 18:13-18)
#wrble #werisebyliftingothers #biblereading
After being forced to pay a king's random and wanting more, the larger empire comes to strike fear, even after stripping the most precious of things to try and appease and still more is wanted. They won't strip Jerusalem of her beauty, won't strip Judah of her crown. The LORD shall protect HIS city and HE does. When Judah forgets her story and gives her crown away, her beauty is stripped and she doesn't even know it: The laments of the prophets as they cry out waiting for The LORD and believing for HIS More.

In The Fourteen Year of King Hezekiah's Reign (Isaiah 36:1-3)
#wrble #werisebyliftingothers #hopeandafuture #notallislost
Hezekiah had been having a solid run. The people were turning, hearts were changing, people actually cared about others more than themselves, some solid and amazing high moments, mountain top places, and then "a snake" pops up. Sometimes it's one asking, "did God really say?" a bully on the playground, a rival empire, someone we work with and hold dear trying to offer an out that we know we can't take. The form varies the fact that trials come remains the same until our KING returns. Mountain top moments come with valleys, you can't have a raised up area without a low down one. What we learn on the mountain we carry with us into the valley so that **when** a invader comes to make a fuss it's barely a footnote For what is a kingdom of man before The KING of all creation. What is a people that set themselves apart next to a people Set Apart. What is a defeated foe next to The ONE Who Holds The Keys.
