My PoiBoiz After The Changes
As you've already seen we had our living room rearranged a couple of days ago. Here are my "poi boiz" - meyer's parrot Elliot and red-bellied parrot Maxwell (both poicephalus parrots) looking around when I let them out the next morning.

April 12, 2023 - My First Laundry Of The Season!
I just love using my little portable washing machine, and have posted videos about it in the past...but just had to share how excited I was to get it all set up again this year, and enjoy the fresh air while I worked! This thing washes like a champ, better than the laundromat, and spins the clothes almost completely dry - they were fully dry after only 2 hours on the line. Thanks for sharing in my excitement!

All Things Nuwa - Changes!
One of our helpers rearranged the furniture in our living area for us yesterday and we love it! We have lived in RVs for nearly 8 years now, this is our first 5th wheel after 2 motorhomes and I LOVE that the furniture isn't built in and we have options! When living in sticks'n'bricks most of my life I would rearrange the furniture several times a year, and I'm thrilled to be able to do that again!

Starting My First Garden!
One of our helpers, whose passion is gardening, is helping me do a garden this year. I will be documenting it on my website, including these videos, of which this is the first. I am starting out at a point of knowing NOTHING. I'm glad E is a patient teacher!

Pete's River Walk - April 2, 2023
I have been anxious to see the river, so Pete took his camera and walked around our yard at the top of the "hill" (more like a dropoff in most places) and then down at river level. He got 3GB of video which I edited and optimized and made into this video.
Where we live is a large lot surrounded by woods, with these heavily treed "hills" along 2 sides that lead to the river about 20-25' below, and what I call the lower lot - a large open grassy yard on the bank. Must of this lot is currently underwater, part of it appears as an island. The river is typically about 30' across on average but right now it is a lot wider and deeper.
The Pete went to a nearby road to take some video of the same river as it runs under that road's bridge; he got good footage from both sides.

Vlog #2044½ - March 1, 2023
Well golly, I found a video from several weeks ago that I didn't know I had, so I just did a quick optimize and am uploading it before the month is out. Don't know how THAT happened!

Monday Music - March 27, 2028
Today I dragged out one of my older music books, one that I had bought a number of years ago but never really went through or played. So I turned on the camera as I was looking through it and playing a few songs in it. Don't know why I hadn't cracked it open before, there's some good stuff in there! Anyway, I did the same as last week, just played and let the camera roll, then cut out all the junk to leave a few songs I wanted to share.

Playing Around On My Tyros5-76 (Hymns)
The other day I found a music book that I forgot I had. I hadn't seen it in years! It's just simple basic hymns - up a notch from the fakebooks I typically like to play from but still pretty basic. So as I was going through the book to refresh my memory of the songs in it I decided to turn on my phone and record some of it, which I then chopped up into this video. I also used that opportunity to try some of my new registrations; I'm rebuilding my registration library (close to 1000 registrations) from scratch since the Tyros 5 is so different from the PSR-S950 on which I built them. Anyway, for what it's worth, here are some little snippets of my afternoon.

March 2, 2023 - A Morning With My Parrots
I decided to record this morning as I was having my coffee right after getting out of bed. I wouldn't usually do that but the poi boiz were being so stinkin cute I had to do it.

Vlog #2144 - Our First Snowstorm of the Week!
The last couple days of February we, apparently, were under a winter storm warning. But we didn't know that, we were expecting a couple of inches of snow and that was it. So we found ourselves a dozen miles from home, having lunch at our favorite restaurant, when it hit. This video shares the wonders of the beautiful snowfall.

Monday Music - Sparrow Watcher
"If you seek perfection, look elsewhere." ~ Chiafucius
This was written by Rich Mullins and the popular version with which I am acquainted was sung by Pam Mark Hall.
as played on my Yamaha Tyros-5/76 (Note that some of the sounds started cutting out toward the end...I am not sure why.)

Amish Shopping, part I - Feb. 22, 2023
We went to one of the many Amish businesses in our area during the start of a winter storm, and, though it is usually packed, there was hardly anyone else there! So I took the opportunity to do some recording. I was about halfway through the store when I realized I had nearly 30 minutes of video, and I don't know many people who would watch that much shopping! Of course once I did the editing, and sped up the slower parts a little bit, the result is much shorter, but still plenty long! I will record part II the next time we shop there and it isn't TOO busy. It is a great store and we go there often, they have a great variety of things we never see anywhere else too!

Vlog #2142 Feb. 19, 2023 - A Walk To The River
It was a beautiful day so I took Maisie and my walker and walked out to see the river from where we are now parked/living on the property, having never seen this part of it before. (But first, a minute of the silly turkeys outside!) This was a long amble for me, so I was happy to have reached my goal!

The Wind in the Trees - Feb. 15, 2023
The wind was pretty violent earlier in the day and I recorded it blowing the tops of our tall pines outside of my window. From where I sit in my recliner I am looking up at them, and they looked almost angry as the wind blew. (NOTE that you may want to lower your volume, especially if you are wearing headphones!)

Bye Bye Motorhome
We lived in this motorhome for 5 years but it was time for a change...so we bought this Nuwa Hitchhiker Wide Body Premier in November and it suits our current life so much better! We did find a buyer for the Hurricane Motorhome; he doesn't drive, and so had it towed to his property, where he also plans to live in it full-time.

Something Very Different For The Nuwa!
We had been looking for a table to replace the card table we had temporarily set up in front of these windows. Then it occurred to us that a table was NOT the best choice for our purposes...so we started looking into "cockatial storage ottmans". It didn't take long to find this one! It is perfect for our needs! It's low enough that we can see out through the entire back window...storage for the grandkids' toys and other things...will work as a table for them to play on when they're here...extra seating for guests/kids...and a GREAT place for the dogs to relax, or watch the wildlife! So much more practical than a table for us!
