Mahatma Gandhi is such a person in the history of India who fought till his last breath for the interest of the country. He who followed the path of non-violence in the freedom movement had stunned the British rulers. Mahatma Gandhi is also addressed as the Father of the Nation. Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela were also greatly influenced by his ideology of truth and non-violence. Mahatma Gandhi also fought non-violently against injustice and racial discrimination in Africa for 21 consecutive years, which cost the British not only in Africa but also in India.
Gandhiji followed non-violence and truth in all circumstances and also advocated for everyone to follow them. He spent his life in the Sabarmati Ashram and wore the traditional Indian dress of dhoti and a shawl made of cotton, which he himself made by hand spinning the yarn on a spinning wheel.
The full name of Mahatma Gandhi was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. He was born on 2 October 1869 in Porbandar, Gujarat. Father's name was Karamchandra Gandhi, who was the Diwan of a small princely state of Kathiawar during the British Raj. Mahatma Gandhi was married to Kasturba Gandhi at the age of just 13. Gandhi's father died two years after the marriage, and just one year after the father's death, he had his first child, but unfortunately he died shortly after birth.

Mother Teresa, christened as Saint Teresa of Calcutta by the Roman Catholic Church, was a Roman Catholic nun who voluntarily took Indian citizenship in 1948. He founded the Missionaries of Charity in Kolkata in 1950. He helped the poor, sick, orphaned and dying people for 45 years and also paved the way for the spread of the Missionaries of Charity.
By the 1970s she became famous for her humanitarian work for the poor and helpless, she was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 and the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honour, in 1980. By the time of her death it was controlling 610 missions in 123 countries. This included hospices/homes for patients with HIV/AIDS, leprosy and tuberculosis as well as soups, kitchens, counseling programs for children and families, orphanages and schools.

Chanakya was a famous scholar and (approximately 376 BC - 283 BC) the general secretary of Chandragupta Maurya. He is also known as Kautilya or Vishnugupta. Being the son of his father Shri Chanak, he was called Chanakya. Vishnugupta was a great scholar of diplomacy, economics, politics and 'devious' of his great knowledge, he was called 'Kautilya' because of his creative work like good use, public welfare and building a united India. He was a true Brahmin by birth and a guru of Emperor Chandragupta.He was the first child of his parents. Mother died after birth. From birth, she had wondrous knowledge and wisdom. Its unique scholarship, which is lighting up the entire Jambu island like the sun's light, was the teacher of Taxila University, he mainly trained the Bhil and Kirat princes. The book named Arthashastra written by him is a great book on politics, economics, agriculture, social policy etc.
Chanakya's name has come up in Vishnupuran, Bhagwat and Kathasaritsagar etc., but his story is equally found in Buddhist texts too. Chanakya was a resident of Taxila (a town which was near Rawalpindi). The events of his life have a special relation with the attainment of Maurya Chandragupta. He was a renowned scholar of that time, no doubt about it. It is said that Chanakya used to live in a small hut away from the royal magnificence.
A 47-part TV serial, written and directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, named after Chanakya, was originally aired from 8 September 1991.
