Sunday 2-04-2024 The Resistance-The RISE of THE CHURCH The Rules of Hard Knocks- Rule 8 Pt.1 We are taking on Pt.1 of Rule #8 in our Rules of Hard Knocks! We declare, we are THE RESISTANCE, lifting up the name of Jesus as our only Hope. And we will take authority as James 4:7-8 commands us to, James 4:7-8 nlt “RESIST THE DEVIL, HE WILL FLEE.... By Coming Closer to God, God will come Close to You." We have looked at Jerusalem, The Mother Church, to inspire us to return to the heart of God for His Church. We have taken a look at just Who our Daddy, Abba-Father! Now we, the Church of today, the Resistance are given the baton to take The Gospel to this generation and hand it to the next, until Jesus returns-- with that in mind we will spend several weeks preparing ourselves to make our stand by being prepared to take the "HARD KNOCKS" that come to all who serve the Lord. If we are prepared, if we do the training, the body shots to the spirit and the hooks of the enemy will land on steal abs and iron jaws- by the grace, power and glory of God. Today, on Easter Sunday, Pastor Troy wraps up our series with Part 5 of our 5 Part series MICAH-LIVE HUMBLY, we will hear from the prophet Micah. This year as a special Lenten & Holy Week Series we are looking at the heart of God, which is for us to Love God and Love One Another. These are listed as a compound deal with God. Just a hint at what we will find! We find that God wants our love, but He expects that love & respect to be paralleled with our love & care for one another and for the world around us. When we fail to do so, He will correct us, and in the end His plan will come to pass, and He will offer His love in the form of Hope, Grace and Mercy to all who will acknowledge Him and Live Humbly before Him— with or without us.
