SGT Joseph Matejov MIA Baron 52 - Stories of Sacrifice
Sergeant Joseph A. Matejov joined the U.S. Air Force from New York and was a member of the 6994th Security Squadron. On 5 February 1973, he was a crew member aboard an EC-47Q (serial number 43-48636) call sign "Baron 52" on a night reconnaissance mission over Saravane Province, Laos. Baron 52 was the EC-47 was carrying eight crew members that was shot down over Laos during the predawn hours of 5 February 1973, a week after the Paris Peace Accords officially ended the United States involvement in the Vietnam War. The remains of four crewmen were recovered from the crash site, but those of the remaining four have never been found. Although the U.S. government considers them to have been killed in action and as late as 1996 listed them as "accounted for", family members and POW/MIA advocates believe the four survived the crash. The incident has been featured on several nationwide news programs and a 1991 episode of the U.S. television series Unsolved Mysteries.

Stories Of Sacrifice || USS Pueblo Incident POW John Mitchell
Interview with US Navy veteran and former Cold War POW John Mitchell who was captured on the USS Pueblo in 1968 and held Prisoner of War in North Korea for 11 months along with 81 other shipmates. The USS Pueblo (AGER-2) is a Banner-class environmental research ship, attached to Navy intelligence as a spy ship, which was attacked and captured by North Korean forces on 23 January 1968, in what was later known as the "Pueblo incident" or alternatively, as the "Pueblo crisis".
The seizure of the U.S. Navy ship and her total 83 crew members, one of whom was killed in the attack, came less than a week after President Lyndon B. Johnson's State of the Union address to the United States Congress, a week before the start of the Tet Offensive in South Vietnam during the Vietnam War and three days after 31 men of North Korea's KPA Unit 124 had crossed the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and killed 26 South Koreans in an attempt to attack the South Korean Blue House (executive mansion) in the capital Seoul. The taking of Pueblo and the abuse and torture of her crew during the subsequent eleven months became a major Cold War incident, raising tensions between western and eastern powers. The Pueblo is still being held by NK and used as a propaganda museum at Pyongyang, NK.
I'm looking forward to talking to John about his experience being held by NK and hear his story of the brutal torture he and his shipmates suffered at the hands of their captors.

Part 2 - Late night chat with Australian David MacMillan who spent years in SE Asia working on US POW/MIA cases. We discuss remains he found and turned over to the US Government for identification. We also set the record straight in regards to others who have tried to discredit David's research based on their efforts to cash in on Sean Flynn's fame as the son of Actor, Errol Flynn. Many of these retired "journalists" looking for Sean's remains are cashing in on books and documentaries whereas David is working directly for the Flynn family.

Stories Of Sacrifice || With Vietnam War MIA Hunter David MacMillan Pt 1
Late night chat with Australian David MacMillan who spent years in SE Asia working on US POW/MIA cases.
