The Greeks down play Aries whilst the Romans venerate Mars. The reason? Greeks see Aries as pure personified aggression. Romans see Mars and as pure personified aggression that has been trained, focused and controlled. I originally came acquainted with this story when I was younger by men shearing the sheep and wearing the fleece.
