Our PAC Community Leadership Program
The Community Leadership Program (CLP) is at the core of what we do. Our grassroots movement is one that recruits and train local leaders in each federal electoral district, region, or community, to become future Members of Parliament (MPs), through collective action from the local level to effect change at the local, regional, and national or international level.
The Community Leadership Program (CLP) is a unique platform that allows citizens to volunteer as Community Leaders (CLs), while also engaging in online training and workshops to develop the necessary leadership skills as successful 'Community Leaders'; thereafter winning federal elections.
Canadians are perceived globally as polite, friendly, educated, and eloquent. Canada seems like a perfect place to visit and live. Which it is, however, like everywhere, there are still social problems in Canada today that need addressing for a better tomorrow.
BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP
The unique characteristic of grassroots NCPC Lobbying, in contrast to other forms of lobbying, is that it involves stimulating the politics of specific communities. This type of lobbying is different from the more commonly known direct lobbying, as it is naturally brought upon by the organization.
Political Action Committee (PACs) are made up of people who share similar challenges and opportunities. Whether it's an annual general conference, a regional meeting, a local chapter meet-up, or even a virtual event, nothing replaces personal interaction with other smart people. This is one of the most important benefit Political Action Committee (PACs) can provide.

Happy USA 4th of July 2022
Canada and the United States (U.S.) enjoy a unique relationship. The Canada-United States partnership is forged by shared geography, similar values, common interests, deep personal connections and powerful, multi-layered economic ties. Canada and the United States enjoy the largest trading relationship in the world.
Independence Day (colloquially the Fourth of July) is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the Declaration of Independence of the United States, on July 4, 1776. Happy Canada Day 2022
Canada Day (French: Fête du Canada) is the national day of Canada. A federal statutory holiday, it celebrates the anniversary of Canadian Confederation which occurred on July 1, 1867, with the passing of the British North America Act, 1867 where the four separate colonies of Upper Canada, Lower Canada, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick were united into a single Dominion within the British Empire called Canada.
Under the federal Holidays Act, Canada Day is observed on July 1, unless that date falls on a Sunday, in which case July 2 is the statutory holiday. Celebratory events will generally still take place on July 1, even though it is not the legal holiday. If it falls on a weekend, businesses normally closed that day usually dedicate the following Monday as a day off.

WHAT IS LEADERSHIP?
Leaders help themselves and others to do the right things. They set direction, build an inspiring vision, and create something new. Leadership is about mapping out where you need to go to "win" as a team or an organization; and it is dynamic, exciting, and inspiring.
Yet, while leaders set the direction, they must also use management skills to guide their people to the right destination, in a smooth and efficient way.

Investing in Science, Technology And Innovation
Investment in science, technology and innovation (STI) is essential for economic development and social progress. Research and development (R&D) can foster sustainable development by building greener, more inclusive societies. To be effective, however, infrastructure development, technology transfer and both public and private R&D need to be nurtured and regulated via effective policies.

Time To Revive Our Main Manufacturing Industries For Economic Sustainability And Prosperity
The first tool should be government purchasing – at all levels, municipal, provincial and federal. All purchasing should include a “Made in Canada” component in all sectors and industries. Additionally, companies that are given government aid as part of the COVID-19 response should be required to move and sustain a minimal (but economically significant) percentage of their sourcing and production back to Canada. This should be done in both direct government procurement programs as well as through authorizing reimbursement programs such as medicine.

The Role Of Human Rights In Politics
The protection of human rights requires independent human rights mechanisms. Such mechanisms may take different forms in different communities, and there are several examples that could serve as a model for the implementation of human rights at the local level; local ombudspersons, consumer complaints boards, patient injury boards, anti-discrimination agencies, etc. The competences and structures of these mechanisms can be very diverse, but they must be seen as important means of safeguarding human rights and handling citizens’ complaints at first instance. Importantly, the establishment of a local human rights mechanism gives visibility to the role of local authorities in human rights protection. In order for them to effectively discharge their functions, these should be provided with sufficient human and financial resources and be accessible to everyone within the respective locality.

Towards A New Cybersecurity Infrastructure To Protect Canadians Against Cyber Crime
Cybercrime is progressing at an incredibly fast pace, with new trends constantly emerging. Cybercriminals are becoming more agile, exploiting new technologies with lightning speed, tailoring their attacks using new methods, and cooperating with each other in ways we have not seen before.
There is growing concern over the misuse of information and communications technologies (ICT) by terrorists, in particular the Internet and new digital technologies, to commit, incite, recruit for, fund or plan terrorist acts.
Complex criminal networks operate across the world, coordinating intricate attacks in a matter of minutes. Police must therefore keep pace with new technologies, to understand the possibilities they create for criminals and how they can be used as tools for fighting cybercrime.

NCPC CANADA ADVOCACY CAMPAIGN FOR UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL SEAT
Canada was just ranked as the 2nd best country in the world. Canada made great contributions and sacrifices in the First World War. Our many achievements on the battlefield were capped by a three-month stretch of victories at the end of the war during what came to be known as “The Last Hundred Days.”
Everyday, approximately 400,000 people and $2 billion in goods and services cross the Canada-U.S. border. Canada has the (9th) ninth-largest economy in the world as of 2020, with a GDP of $1.64 trillion in USD.
As a founding member of the United Nations, Canada is committed to the guidance provided in the UN Charter to maintain international peace and security, develop friendly relations among nations, and to achieve international co-operation.
Canada is a global leader in Refugee Resettlement and served as the co-chair of the 2020 Annual Tripartite Consultations on Resettlement and the Chair of Global Task Force on Refugee Labour Mobility.
Terrorism has become a global threat. Canada spent an estimated $18 billion fighting in Afghanistan and trying to reconstruct the country. The war took the lives of 158 Canadian soldiers and wounded or injured more than 2,000 others.
In 1976, Montréal became the first Canadian city to host the Olympic Games. The XXIst Olympiad, held from 17 July to 1 August 1976, included memorable performances from many world athletes.
Canada is globally known for being a welcoming and accepting country and now it is being recognized as one of the most diverse countries in the world.

YOUR INTERESTS OUR TOP PRIORITY
Open government is the governing doctrine which sustain that citizens have the right to access the documents and proceedings of the government to allow for effective public oversight. Transparent governance means that government officials act openly, with citizens' knowledge of the decisions the officials are making.
Transparency can include campaign finance disclosure so voters know if candidates are tied to special interest groups, proactive disclosure from governments, and the ability to request government records.
Lessons To Be Learned About Canada's UN Security Council 2020 Loss
Canada’s aspiration for this seat stems from its efforts to reclaim its soft power in the international system, and once again become a trusted voice on issues of foreign policy, economics, peace and global security. A council seat comes with prestige, political positioning power, and a platform to achieve an international agenda. A win would replace Canada’s regional microphone with a global megaphone.

COVID 19 Safety Guidelines
COVID-19 spreads primarily through respiratory droplets or contact with contaminated surfaces. Exposure can occur at the workplace, while travelling to work, during work-related travel to an area with local community transmission, as well as on the way to and from the workplace.
The risk of exposure to COVID-19 in the workplace depends on the likelihood of coming within 1 metre of others, in having frequent physical contact with people who may be infected with COVID-19, and through contact with contaminated surfaces and objects.
Employers and managers, in consultation with workers, should carry out and regularly update the risk assessment for work-related exposure to COVID-19, preferably with the support of occupational health services. Workplaces for jobs at medium risk require daily cleaning and disinfection at least two times a day of objects and surfaces that are touched regularly, including all shared rooms, surfaces, floors, bathrooms, and changing rooms.
Consider suspending any activity where physical distancing of at least 1 metre cannot be implemented in full. If this is not possible, increase ventilation, implement enhanced regular hand hygiene, and require staff to wear appropriate face masks, goggles, gloves and work clothes during cleaning procedures that generate splashes, providing training on their use. Organize changing and washing of work clothes at the workplace, so that workers to do take them home.
COVID-19 is associated with a range of concerns, such as fear of falling ill and dying, of being socially excluded, placed in quarantine, or losing a livelihood. Symptoms of anxiety and depression are common reactions for people in the context of COVID-19. Mental health and psycho-social support should be made available to all workers.
