The answer is yes, similar to how you would a fish farm. However, this method that I have come up with is a bit.... miscombobulated? Looking back on the design, I don't think the feed tape is really necessary, since the farmland blocks aren't reverted when using a piston to move them. I made this wayyyy more complicated than it needed to be, but I blame the migraine. Up until Full Release 1.2, Melons and Pumpkins can only grow on farmland. This gets expanded into allowing them to grow onto dirt and grass later on, but until then, we need a way to keep the ground tilled. And so, I took a page from a Nether Wart farm design I remember seeing a while back that used a system to move the player around, allowing afk placement of the wart, which had a collection system in place already. However, until we can get packed ice, we can't rely on water streams like we do in modern versions. This version is up to date with the current version of Minecraft Evolution, and I hope to be able to help those who are following the Evo Series in their own worlds to be able to thrive and enjoy the game for its full value. :)
