Mike Bickle News Scandal Update and Allegations - Accused of Sexual Misconduct at ihopkc. We are going to discuss the Mike Bickle Scandle at ihopkc that came to light this weekend. Mike Bickle Accused of sexual misconduct toward several woman involved with the ministry. ihopkc allegations were discussed to today October 29th at their Forerunner church service. Ihopkc changes law firm for the investigation from a large national firm to a smaller local firm. Petition going around for Ihopkc to use Grace for the investigation. Ihopkc releases a statement on Initial findings on the sexual allegations against Mike Bickle. Dwayne Roberts one of the four former executives who presented the story to the public about Mike Bickle breaks his silence on what he thinks about the initial findings report. Claiming that over 20 different allegations came forward against Bickle. Dr Michael Brwon also announces he will no longer have an offical role in the ihopkc investigation. Senior leaders Isaac Bennett and Stewart Graves address these allegations in front of the whole church. Three former executives with the organization discussing the claims brought against Mike Bickle ihop who are Dwayne Roberts, Brian Kim and Wes Martin. Another statement from a Allen Hood a former executive was release this week backing allegations brought against Mike. And Misty Edwards breaks her silence on the matter with saying she wasn't one of the woman who came forward. April Rose also came forward to say she wasn't one of the woman who was mistreated by Bickle. This is an ihopkc scandal that will shake this community for sure. Mike Bickle allegations included "misconduct that was sexual in nature where the marriage covenant was not honored". This Mike Bickle news is not good news. The ihopkc leadership team was informed by a letter from three former board members "became aware of serious allegations spanning several decades". These allegations seemed to come from long standing members of ihopkc community and the witnesses were "creditable and long standing." This information was not based on one person but several people that came forward with claims that Mike Bickle was sexual involved with them. The allegations "made also reveal that Mike Bickle used his position of spiritual authority over the victims to manipulate them". The statement goes on to say that "These are woman who have always been viewed as credible, trustworthy and courageous. The International House of Prayer Kansas City which is the main location which focuses on 24/7 Prayer and Worship. They have over 2,000 full time workers. Rick Joyner Rants on Mike Bickle Scandal and Allegations. Ricky Joyner is the founder of Mourningstar Ministries now run by Chris Reed. Mike Bickle was accused of Sexual Misconduct at ihopkc. So Rick Joyner Responds to the Mike Bickle Allegations. And comes forward to defend his Friend Mike Bickle. We are going to take a look at Rick's response. A video which has been taken down. I will point out a few things I found a bit surprising about his response. And review his response. We are also going to take a look at his apology that came later. I want to try to be as gracious as i possibly can be. I knew before i watched the video the stance Rick would take. I knew he would defend Mike Bickle allegations. He compares Mike Bickle's situation to King David. Not sure this was a good example. We should rarely think we can compare ourselves to bible figures. Again King David was forgiven by God and somehow was allow to stay in ministry. It should be noted that David wasn't a Pastor. But a government official. God forgave David of his sin but he didn't remove the consequences. But dealt with the consequences till his death bead. But the biggest head scratcher of this analogy. Something that many Charismatic preachers do. Use Old Testament scriptures to back things up When the New Testament clear gives instructions on the matter . 1 Timothy 3 Qualifications for Overseers and Deacons 3 Here is a trustworthy saying: Whoever aspires to be an overseer desires a noble task.2 Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach,3 not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money.4 He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full[a]respect.5 (If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God’s church?)6 He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same judgment as the devil.7 He must also have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the devil’s trap. So we see here their are qualifications for those who are overseers Not everyone can and should lead. And if they cannot live up to the standards of leadership they should be removed. Urgent Prophetic End Time Message for the Body of Christ. End Times Most People Dont Realize This. So this will be an end times prophetic word on how to handle the dark days ahead. As we see things beginning to heat up worldwide. And the world becoming more and more unstable. We have multiple nations at war and rumors of wars. End times signs point to Israel which is now at war. The united states is more divided then at any point. And things are more unstable then at any point in my life. So How do we navigate these times? The book of Revelation also gives us the keys to why most present day Christians are overwhelmed by the culture and the world around us. In the book of revelation chapter 13 explains the Beast coming to forefront in human history. This system of the Antichrist and the beast is already at work in the world. It is shaping culture and the nations of the earth. Satan is using the system of the beast to cut believers off by any means possible from a living relationship with Jesus. This means we as believers must resist the over come the beast expressed through the culture. So we can see clearly how the system of the beast threatens the church and absorbs Christians in our day. Revelation 13 explained. Os Guiness wrote this: "Due to a combination of capitalism, technology, and modern communications, the most powerful civilization ever- A global culture - has been formed. This global culture is the beast that threatens to shallow us in these days. The core values of the beast in the 21st century screams at us from computers, billboards, Tv's, Movies, music, schools, newspapers, magazines and iPhones". Like the Christians in the first century that the book of Revelation was written too. They were surrounded by these powerful forces that threatened their relationship with God. So we live unaware that we live in a culture shaped by the beast. The main culprit is the mainstream media. They get viewers by playing into our fears. Because fears sell. Everyone seems to like train wrecks. Youtubers are great at this. And preachers too. Using titles, thumbnails and fearful titles to suck us in. Like ww3 is happening right now. So this is my warning to you to not get sucked into the system of the beast. Becoming too focused on what is going on in the world. Too focused on the end times. Because it cuts you off from a devotional life with Jesus which is the foundation to build our lives upon. I want to save you from falling into this trap. Derek Prince Testimony From Shaping History Through Prayer and Fasting Told by John Hagee Sermon. So lets listen to a short summary of this Derek Prince story by John Hagee who was close friends with Derek and spoke at his funeral. After the clip I will expand on the story a bit more because Hagee only gives a quick version of the story. From 1949 to 1956, Derek was pastor of a congregation in London, England. He retained a special interest in God’s dealings with the Jewish people since he lived in Israel and was present at the birth of this nation. Early in 1953, he received information from reliable sources that Josef Stalin, who at the time ruled the Soviet Union as an unchallenged dictator, was planning a systematic purge directed against the Russian Jews. As he meditated on this situation, the Lord reminded him of Paul’s exhortation to the gentile Christians concerning the Jews: (2 Corinthians 10:3-5 NKJV). For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ Somehow, he felt that God was laying at his door the responsibility to pray for the Jews in Russia. Derek shared his feelings with the leaders of a few small prayer groups, in various parts of Britain, who also had a special concern for the Jews. So, they decided to set aside one day for special prayer and fasting on behalf of the Russian Jews. Derek doesn’t recall the exact date. Stalin was dead at the hands of praying Christians. Let it be clearly stated that no member of any of Derek’s groups prayed for the death of Stalin. They simply committed the situation inside Russia to God, and trusted His wisdom for the answer that was needed. Andy Stanley Unconditional Conference with LBGTQ Controversy Part 2. This sermon will cover Andy Stanley's sermon "I Love My Church" at his church Northpoint Community Church on October 1st 2023 after the controversy from his Unconditional Conference 2023. He aimed to help Christian parents who have LBGTQ children. The conference was led by Greg and Lynn McDonald, who are founders of Embracing the Journey, a ministry birthed from their experience with having a gay child. According to the conference’s website, the MacDonalds “are passionate about helping parents embrace their journey where true healing can occur.” They use their two decades of “firsthand experience” to coach and counsel Christian parents with LGBTQ+ children. This caused Albert Mohler Southern Baptist Theological Seminary president to criticize Stanley on his podcast. He was critical because Andy invited two gay men as speakers at the event. The speakers were Justin Lee and Brian Nietzel, whom Stanley described as “two married gay men” who are also “Christ-followers today.” They were invited to speak—and had spoken at previous North Point Church gatherings. By being in such a union, Lee and Nietzel are living in ongoing, unrepentant disobedience to Christ. Andy Stanley seemed to defend this decision making it worse. Ask Dr Brown or Michael Brown also made calls on Andy to repent and make his views clear. He said Andy refused to do so for several years. Andy Stanley sermon did stand for biblical values which is a step in the right direction. He stated that biblical marriage is between a man and a woman, he said, noting that every New Testament text addressing homosexuality teaches that it is a sin. “It was a sin then,” Stanley said, “and it is a sin now.” He said his church has always stood for the ethics laid forth in the New Testament on sex and marriage. And that sex should only happen in the context of marriage. He affirmed passages in the bible such as: Romans 1, 1 Corinthians 6, and 1 Timothy 1. I commended Andy for standing for biblical truth. For having a great heart of compassion. And for him be willing to take on the LBGTQ conversation. But as Ask Dr Brown states: "We have have hearts of compassion but backbones of steel". Andy has the heart of compassion. But he seems to have lost some degree of standing for the truth at face value. Andy said that Jesus drew circles and included everyone. Where many in Christianity today draw lines of exclusion. I think Jesus wants all to come to him. We should come as we are. But God doesn't want to to stay as we are. We are supposed to come up to his level. There seemed to be hints in Andy's sermon that he didn't think gay people could change and possibly they are born that way. However homosexuality is no different then any other sin. We can turn from that sin and be healed by Jesus. I questioned Andy bringing two gay man to the conference as speakers. I think he could have used some people who have come out of the lifestyle and are on the other side of the journey I gave an example of ministry that that helps people get healing and come out of the lifestyle to go into heterosexual relationships. Justin Peters Ministries Tweet on Prophetic Ministry Breaks the Internet and shockingly i agree with him. Justin Peters posted something about the prophetic movement on twitter And it broke Twitter. The tweet was seen over 112K times. And i actually have to agree with him on this one. I am not a big Justin Peters fan. I find him to be over critical especially of the charismatic movement. He seems to genuinely love God. At the same time it seems like he has a watch dog or discernment ministry. Their is a tendency to only listen to voices from our particular stream of christianity. This is dangerous and creates a echo chamber. Were we are only hearing things that go with our world view. The prophetic movement went off the track during the last few years. We see this with Covid19 and the elections. They were all wrong. And very few repented. The prophetic ministry needs a reset. We need to get back to solid orthodoxy. Reading the bible and prayer. Character over gifting. And spending time with God daily. So we can discern his voice accurately. Derek Prince often said in Elijah's time there was a total of 1,200 prophets in the whole book. And only 2 real prophets. Elijah and Micaiah. He said the odds aren't much different today. Possible even worse and I agree. Please no comments on Touch not the Lord anointed. That is the most misused verse in the whole bible. And it refers on trying to remove someone in power. I am not trying to do that. We should also test prophecy. Because god commands us to do so. And if we don't we will be held accountable. If we don't test prophecy we will end up despising it because it will get flakey and lack credibility. God tells us in his world not to despise prophecy. Inner Healing Sermon with Inner Healing Prayer at the end of the video. In 2018 i went to Israel with John Paul Jacksons ministry which is called streams ministries. I met a woman and ended up doing some inner healing with her. Then she has a dream. In the dream she was taking authority over different spirits. She was loudly and strongly. Rebuking spirits of fear, anxiety and worry. She was saying i rebuke you anxiety. I rebuke you fear. And she was saying it over and over again. Well in the dream suddenly appeared John Paul Jackson. And he started to tell Anna to stop. But Anna kept going. He then pleaded with her to stop. And he said Anna these issues are more like mold. Stop rebuking these spirits right now. The dream meant her inner healing issues has to be treated as you would treat mold. Mold in houses must be exposed to air over long time periods to be dried out. Modern day word of faith ministries or deliverance ministries would simple pray for the issue to be resolved right away. And God can heal things on the spot at times. But the majority of the time we works in process. Many charismatics think that things will be healed with little effort on our part. This is where inner healing and deliverance must go hand and hand. And most of the times more inner healing then deliverance. Why because Demons cling to wounds. Demons cling to emotional issues. Because they target weakness. But the strength isn't the demons. They have to obey the name of Jesus The strength is the wound that keeps the demons there. I posted a clip from Derek Prince. And he said after many years in deliverance ministry. He realized he was only dealing with surface wounds. He wasn't addressing the deeper issues (root issues). I learned this is emotionally Healthy Spirituality. The concept of the Iceberg. Only 10% of the iceberg in visible to the human eyes. The other 90% lies beneath the surface and you can't see. So it is the same thing with the human soul. Most of it lies deep within us. And modern day churches only really address the 10% you can see. So we have all the people attending church. But no one is going deep. This is where you need inner healing and deliverance training. This is inner healing christian Richard Foster said this in the Celebration of Discipline: "Superficiality is the curse of our age. The doctrine of instant satisfaction is a primary spiritual problem. The desperate need today is not for a greater number of intelligent people, or gifted people but for deep people." We have to move beyond surface living and go deep. So what does this healing look like in reality. It means that this problem is more like mold. Our problems are not going to go away right away. It need exposure to the the air. And our soul need exposure to the transformative power of Gods love. And Gods presence. And we have to dip in it. Like a tea bag in hot water. I ended the video reading an excerpt from the book Soul Care From Rob Reimer. He talks about a moment in his marriage where he was going through great anxiety and nothing would relieve it. God had him sit with him in silence over many months in his 'restorative presence". After many months of sitting with God alone in silence he was healed of the anxiety.
