Why you feel alone and what to do about it (Tapping for feeling alone)
Feeling alone can be a wonderful feeling but what happens when feeling alone is awful? In this case feeling alone is a connection issue. Even when you are surrounded by people you may find yourself feeling disconnected. Using Brene Brown's definition of connection which is the energy that exists when people feel seen, heard and valued, we can understand more deeply what is at the root cause of feeling alone.

Why do I feel numb? (Pt 2/3) A common response to childhood trauma
Why do I feel numb? mini series Part 2 of 3
Part 1 https://rumble.com/vp3v7i-healing-trauma-the-9-dangers-of-feeling-numb-part-13.html
Part 3
Uncover the reasons why you created this feeling of being numb. Part 1 reveals some insights into what you do when you go numb so be sure to check that out to understand this video more fully.
In this video, you will see how feelings of being rejected, neglected or unloved created the need to suppress the pain.
As a baby you experience feelings at 100% volume.
As you grow you realise your parents don't always have time for you and that creates a desire to be independent, tough and resilient so that you don't have to experience the pain.
When you join society, through school and other events, you learn that people don't want you to express your feelings. They expect you to behave in certain ways so that you are acceptable to them.
You desire to belong so you choose to behave appropriately but this leaves you shut off from your own emotions. That disconnection creates a sense of not belonging and so you lose even more connection with people.

0:32 How value creates connection
0:50 External factors
2:47 Self-esteem vs self-value
3:58 Tapping to feel valued
16:00 Conclusion
To understand how value can create a connection we need to understand how we value others and ourselves
We mistakenly determine value by external factors:
Money - many cultures place importance on how much you earn or how much money you have. This can cause low self esteem if your income drops or if you don’t have much money. That means that for some people paternity leave or retirement can be a traumatic experience.
if you don’t have a lot of money you might consider yourself lesser than someone else conversely if someone has more than you you might place more value on them. Try making a deep connection with someone when in the back of your mind you think you’re inferior because you don’t have as much
Appearance-many cultures value beauty - historically beauty has been a method to lift a family out of poverty of their beautiful child marries a wealthy family. Appearance is also how you present yourself. Unknowingly you might be judging a beautiful person to be better than you and a shabby person to be lesser than you. Or you might desire being seen in a fancy location.
How easy is it for you to create a meaningful relationship when your subconscious mind is distracted by how you appear to others
Social life - maybe you’re the type of person that values who you know or the type of socialising you do. Do find yourself Name dropping like it’s some kind of trophy to know someone famous or wealthy? Do you place high importance on regular outings? Do you place importance on what you do and with who more than on forming connections with people?
Achievements - many cultures value how hard you work or how productive you are or how accomplished you. Often we wear exhaustion like a badge of honour. Or we want praise for all the things we do - the menial laborious tasks of household chores or the qualifications and titles we acquire. Do you unconsciously rank people’s value based on how hard they work or their achievements? Do you need recognition or praise for what you do as a measure of your own self worth? It’s tricky to create intimate relationships when you’re busy being productive, or busy earning your worth
When you feel that you are not valued you typically have the thought pattern of not enough
Not enough time
Not enough money
Not enough friends
Not fit enough
Not fast enough
Not smart enough
Not funny enough
In the space of not feeling valued you fear being judged or criticised and from this space it’s hard to share openly with people. You spend more energy guarding yourself from the outside world.
Everything is a comparison and you’re often looking at who has more rather than who has less. You believe your outer world a reflection of your value so your subconscious mind is consumed by the constant analysis- wasting so much energy on comparisons and you don’t even know it’s happening! But it leaves very little brain power for creating a fulfilling life.
Feeling valued is feeling worthy and deserving from within without external factors.
self-value sits on a fluctuating scale depending on mood, environment and competence but mostly is based on our subconscious thought patterns
The feeling of being valued is a focus issue - focusing on a mindset of plenty
Plenty of money
Plenty of good health
Plenty of love
Increasing self-worth is about accepting and loving all parts of you, forgiving yourself for any harsh self-criticisms and letting go of your self-berating thought patterns. When you value yourself more you open yourself up to seeing the value in others and this creates real connection.

How to change your limiting beliefs - breaking free from unhealthy thought patterns

There's a bunch of unhealthy thought patterns negatively impacting you including criticising ourselves, exaggerating the negative, wishing we had done something different, using the phrase "I should've" and perfectionism.
All this causes mental fatigue and greater anxiety.
It's often caused by a lack of self-acceptance and lack of self-love.
But how do you catch them out?
It's about noticing what happens in your body. Your body identifies something is wrong long before your brain catches up. When you feel back ache, butterflies in your stomach, a head ache or some discomfort in your body, ask yourself what is creating the anxiety or stress. Writing things down helps to identify this. Are you wishing you could change the past? Wishing you could change someone? wishing you could change yourself? wishing for a particular future? Notice if you have had these thoughts before.
Observation of your thoughts give you the opportunity to shake out of the pattern.
Once you identify the pattern you can use different tools to break free from it.
1. Affirmation - in your quiet time use positive statements to train your brain to think positively. Say things like "I am who I am and I accept all of me" or "I love myself" or "I accept myself".
If you are uncomfortable saying these phrases then say "I am open to..." or "I am ready to..." or "I am willing to..." like "I am open to loving myself" or "I am willing to accept myself". This primes your mind and gets your subconscious mind to open up to loving yourself and accepting yourself and valuing yourself.
Training your mind to think positively reduces the intensity when you are having an unhealthy thought pattern session.
2. Ask better questions.
Instead of asking yourself negative questions like "What's wrong with me?" or "What went wrong?" or "Why didn't I do..."
When wallowing in your pain learn to ask better questions that life you up and make you feel good. Ask "what did work about that?" or "What helped me in that situation?"
When thinking about the future ask "Why" questions. "Why will everything work out?" or "Why will things work in my favour?" or "Why will I feel better about that?"
Your mind loves solving puzzles so it will work her time to answer these great questions. This is a great retraining your brain trick.
3. Meditation
The next tool is part of your brain gym toolkit already. Just as you work out your muscles so you can carry heavy boxes or participate in life more fully, you can use meditation to control your thoughts.Meditation is a gym work out for the mind. It strengthens your ability to focus. You can focus on a candle, or a humming noise or your breath. Focus on anything monotonous for 15 minutes. This trains your subconscious mind to believe that you have control. So when you are spiralling in a whirlwind of negative thought patterns you have the mental control to snap out of negativity and deliberately focus on affirmations or better questions, or even to stop thinking at all! Just clear your mind.
4. Tapping
The 4th tool is tapping. It's easy, effective and works super well when you are stuck. It snaps you out of dark places into a mode of possibility. Here is an example of tapping for an unhealthy thought pattern "I'm ugly" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6qJEZHIZiM

The psychology of blame & how to stop blaming others

4:03 Conclusion
As an adult we use blame to deflect pain but it has become a normal state of mind to cope with judgement, worry, blame and most significantly to cope with an inferiority complex.
The ability to blame someone else allows us to artificially inflate our ego so that we feel superior to someone.
Blame eats into our day-to-day life because it is a background process using up energy in our subconscious mind as our efficient brain looks out for opportunities to blame other people and find fault with things. Precious energy is spent on blaming and little is left for the enjoyment of living a life we love.
Using a circuit breaker we are able to break the pattern of blame. The key is in noticing that we are blaming something or someone. The hardest part is to ask the question "What am I afraid of?" This helps us to get authentic about what the real problem is. Knowing the real problem gives us clarity and this clarity affords us better solutions than to just blame.
Becoming faster and noticing a blame situation creates new subconscious patterns that stop you midway through a blame game and eventually prevents you from blaming in the first place.

Being able to trust the words coming out of your mouth is the first step. Do what you say you will do. If you know you can't fulfil on small things, for example, that you will not be somewhere on time, then you are training your subconscious mind to not believe that you honour your word, and so you will not believe you can do big things either.
Ensure you are supported and you support others. Avoid scenarios where you are too needy or where you are exhausted from giving too much.
Accept yourself more so that you feel safe and secure within. Then you will feel safe to express yourself fully.
Use your intuition to guide you to your next best steps.
