War in Ukraine.Rocket fire on the city of Kyiv, Ukraine, Russian artillery 26,06
Kyiv this morning was fired from Tu-95 and Tu-160 aircraft with X101 missiles, which can fly at a distance of up to 5.5 thousand km.
The bombers took off from Astrakhan. The missiles were launched over the Caspian Sea, - said Yuriy Ignat, spokesman for the command of the Ukrainian Air Force.
The missile attack on Kyiv should be regarded as a deliberate escalation, said the former Prime Minister of Sweden, co-chairman of the European Council on Foreign Relations Carl Bildt.
According to him, the shelling of residential areas of Kyiv is a signal for the G7 summit, which started today in Bavaria.

The invaders used phosphorus bombs in the city of Popasna in Luhansk Region. The deputy chief of the patrol police, Oleksiy Biloshitsky, first reported this, and later was confirmed by the head of the Luhansk regional military-civil administration, Serhiy Gaidai. According to international agreements, it is forbidden to use such weapons in cities, even against military targets. Phosphorus shells cause terrible injuries or slow and painful death. However, this is not the first time Russia has used them. During the bombing of Aleppo, Syria, the invader did not stay away from using phosphorus bombs. No responsibility was incurred by russia at that time.
On the night of March 13, Russian occupants shelled Sviatogirsk Lavra. A shell fell near the chapel and damaged the building, where 520 refugees, 200 of them children, lived. All the windows of the building were blown out. People were injured by glass shards. Sviatogirsk Lavra is an Orthodox monastery in the Donetsk region. The first written mention of it dates back to the first half of the 16th century. The most interesting thing is that priests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate serve in Sviatogirsk. In fact, it is a filial of the Orthodox Church of Russia in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian center for countering disinformation noticed systematic failures of ejection systems in Russian airplanes and helicopters. Ukrainian military specialists inspected the shot-down vehicles. According to them, it is likely that the ejection seat or a parachute that was improperly deployed did not function.
Mass parachute failure was noticed after several invader pilots who had been bombing peaceful cities were captured in Ukrainian captivity and began to speak at once.
In Kherson it was even filmed on video. Ukrainians assumed that in this way Russia was trying to avoid unnecessary evidence of its war crimes.

25 kilometers from the Polish border. Russian aircraft fired 30 air-to-surface missiles at the International Peacekeeping and Security Center in Yavoriv.
According to preliminary information, the planes flew from Russian Saratov. So far it is established: the Russians killed 35 people, 134 more were injured. Among them are civilians.
Maksym Kozitsky highlighted that dozens of people are killed and hundreds injured every day in Ukraine as long as the sky remains open for Russian planes.
In many Ukrainian cities sirens were blaring this night. The number of shelling in cities in Kharkiv region only exceeded 50! One person was killed and one injured as a result of shelling in Chernihiv. Russians shelled a dormitory, completely destroying several floors. Rescuers managed to save seven people from under the rubble. There could have been many more casualties had some of the residents not spent the night in a bomb shelter or had time to escape from the city. Chernihiv suffered from the first days of the war. The regional center was not so lucky. It is only 66 kilometers from Russia. Many streets of the ancient city, first remembered in chronicles 1,150 years ago, have already been completely destroyed by the Russian army.
Skadovsk is free from the Russian invaders! The city, located in one of the bays of the Black Sea, is back under Ukrainian control, the mayor of the city, Oleksandr Yakovlev, announced.
Russian invaders were in the city for 4 days. They wouldn't let the pro-Ukrainian meetings to take place. They robbed the mayor's office: they took all the computers out of there. Why the thieves and invaders left the captured city in such a hurry is unknown.
Foreign legionnaires from around the world continue to arrive in Ukraine. This is a photo from Warsaw airport, where volunteers from Canada have arrived. There are so many Canadian defenders that a separate battalion has been formed for them in Ukraine. The Ukrainian government has created a special website explaining who and how can join the defense of Ukraine and the entire free world from Russian aggression. More than 20 thousand veterans from 52 countries of the world have already expressed their desire to fight in Ukraine. Among them are women with military experience. Many foreign volunteers have already passed the military agreement and are fighting on the front line.

Nuclear terrorism! The invaders brought 11 employees of the Russian state nuclear energy corporation "Rosatom" to the captured Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant. The occupiers claimed that the Ukrainian nuclear power plant was a territory and property of Russia, which only temporarily belonged to Ukraine. Now the newly arrived engineers plan to send electricity to the occupied Crimea. Their troops are now stationed at the plant.
There are about 500 Russian soldiers with automatic weapons on the territory. And about 50 units of equipment directly on the site.
Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant is the largest plant in Europe. It is six times more powerful than Chernobyl and is now in the hands of criminals. Russia became the first country in the world to seize nuclear power plants and use power units as a cover.
“We do not leave our people"
This is the slogan of Putin's propaganda. But the truth is completely different and terrifying! With more than 500 Russians surrendering to Ukrainians, the Russian command is using brutal practices against deserters. The Ukrainian military came across a Russian grenade launcher chained to a tree in the woods. Russians left him "forcibly" to cover their retreat.
Soldiers detained by Ukrainians say during interrogations that the Russian military leadership has resumed another practice - "shooting squads" - echelons that follow the main forces of Russia and kill those who want to surrender.
According to one of the Russian prisoners, as they advance deep into Ukrainian territory, some Russians are beginning to realize that they do not have a peacekeeping mission.
Prisoner: "To all the questions to the commander of our aims here, we get a respond, that we can turn around and leave. But actually we can't. The following echelons are killing those who desert."
Ukrainian intelligence confirms these words. Not far from Kyiv, the occupiers' offensive is controlled by Chechen soldiers of Ramzan Kadyrov, who killed several ethnic Russians in an attempt to desert.
Nothing sacred! On March 12, in Kharkiv, the second most populous city in Ukraine, the occupiers damaged three churches of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Those churches provided shelters to citizens left homeless after enemy attacks. However, this did not stop the Russian military, as they were ordered to shoot even civilians in Kharkiv. The SSU intercepted such a conversation between enemy soldiers.
"Until now, we have been forbidden to even look at civilians, now they have told us to shot, everyone: civilians, children, it doesn’t matter, we are to shot everyone."
Occupiers also continue missile attacks on civilian targets in Kharkiv. Today, the Saltov Tram Depot and the surrounding residential buildings were completely destroyed.

The city is almost razed to the ground! Russian terrorists continue to destroy Volnovakha, Donetsk region. Most part of the 100,000 population has been evacuated and those who remain in the city are trying to survive in conditions of humanitarian disaster. The head of the Donetsk military-civil administration Pavlo Kyrylenko told about it.
Currently, the occupiers are on the outskirts of the city. Russian army is shelling and bombarding civilians and living blocks in order to break through the defense line. Invaders aviation also shelled Yatskivka and Rubtsi villages.
The "green corridor" for humanitarian cargo and evacuation of people has finally opened in Mariupol today. This city in the Donetsk region has been suffering from a humanitarian catastrophe for several days in a row, but Russia is constantly breaking agreements on humanitarian cargo and evacuation of the population.
Mariupol, which is on the coast of the Azov Sea, is one of the closest cities to the so-called DNR occupied by Russia. For almost 2 weeks this city has been mercilessly shelled by the Russian military. On March 9, air strikes bombed a maternity hospital and a children's hospital. And the occupiers keep the inhabitants of the city under siege. There is no heating, electricity or communication, people who are forced to hide in basements have run out of water and f d. It is known about more than one and a half thousand civilians are killed in Mariupol. Due to the constant shelling of the city, people are buried in mass graves. There are hundreds of destroyed or damaged houses in the city. Today, the Russian military aimed at the mosque of Suleiman the Magnificent and his wife Roxolana, where more than 80 adults and children are hiding. There are
the citizens of Turkey among them, according to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
A woman and her two children miraculously survived the ruthless shelling of Severodonetsk by Russian troops in the Luhansk region! Well-known Ukrainian journalist Andriy Tsaplienko shared shocking photos of the victims in his Telegram-channel!
Three victims, whose names are not yet known, have numerous injuries, but are now fortunately under medical supervision!
Severodonetsk is one of the hottest spots in the Luhansk region, a region in eastern Ukraine that has been partially occupied by Russians for eight years. Enemy troops are constantly shelling the city with volley fire systems. They aim at ordinary living blocks, which is why a large part of the civilian population hasn’t had an opportunity to go out from shelters for several days!

1. It is the seventeenth day of the heroic opposition of the Ukrainian people to the Russian military invasion. Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. The enemy began to attack the city. Podil is the center of ancient architecture, the largest UNESCO heritage. This morning, the Russian Nazis encroached upon it as well. As a result of enemy shelling, the roof of the administrative building caught fire. The fire was extinguished, there are no victims.
2. The occupier continues ruthlessly destroying the cities and villages of Ukraine. Russian bombs have been destroying the ancient city of Chernihiv in northern Ukraine for two weeks in a row.
Viacheslav Chaus, the Head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration.
The Russian military is shelling Chernihiv from hail system and artillery, dropping bombs from planes. In particular, a high-explosive fragmentation and incendiary bomb prohibited by international law was found. Currently, the city is without electricity, gas, water and heating, but the city services are repairing the damage.
3. Meanwhile, in the occupied Melitopol, Zaporizhia region, several thousand locals went to a rally against the Russian military, who had kidnapped the city mayor the day before.
The mayor Ivan Fedorov was caught by the occupiers just in the city crisis center. The occupiers put a black plastic bag on his head and drove him away. The moment of the kidnapping was recorded by a video surveillance camera. His location is currently unknown and he is out of reach.
4. Donald Tusk put shame on the countries that are concerned with sanctions using a photo of an armed little girl from Ukraine, that he posted on his Twitter.
The Polish politician, former head of the European Council, reminded that the war is going on and that the Russian occupiers are killing Ukrainians every day and destroying civilian cities and villages.
"Just don't tell her please that tougher sanctions would be too expensive for Europe" - tweeted Donald Tusk.
Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, more than 100 children have been injured and 79 children have died.

The war in Ukraine. Digest 20
Since the morning of March 11, the Russian military has been shelling major Ukrainian cities. For the first time since the beginning of the full-scale war - explosions were heard in the city of Dnipro - the regional center in the central part of the country. There were three air strikes. The shell was dropped near a kindergarten, an apartment building, and a two-story shoe factory caught fire. At least one person was killed and one person was injured.
The cities of Lutsk and Ivano-Frankivsk, regional centers in the western part of Ukraine, where a lot of refugees had moved to escape air raids, were shelled for the first time. In Lutsk, the Russian occupiers bombed the airport. According to preliminary information, there are no victims, but two boiler houses in the city have stopped working. People have no heating at the moment.
In Ivano-Frankivsk, there were explosions near the airport. Local authorities recommend that people living nearby evacuate.
Enemy shelling continues in Kharkiv region. Since the beginning of the war, almost half a thousand houses have been destroyed. In the morning, the Russians de-energized the nuclear facility in the City of Kharkiv. This is the second bombing of the building where the research department is, it has been damaged.
During his last briefing, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky emotionally addressed Russia.
In total, the damage to Ukraine from Russian invasion has already exceeded 100 billion dollars.
A crime against humanity. One more assault has been added to a long list of illegal actions of the Russian Federation. Russian aircraft has attacked the city of Chernihiv with incendiary bombs prohibited by the international law. This was recorded by the Conflict Intelligence Team investigating the circumstances of military conflicts from open sources. Fearless Ukrainian rescuers demining ammunition have confirmed the use of forbidden incendiary bombs by Russia. In their footage sappers are carefully removing the detonator from the bomb, which fortunately did not explode. OFZAB-500 incendiary bombs are extremely powerful weapons, one of which is enough to blow up half a residential district.
The outright lies of the Russian media. A fragment of the TV programme of one of the Russian channels has been shared on social media. It shows videos from surveillance cameras of Ukrainian cities before the Russian full-scale military invasion. The presenter says that these cities are allegedly intact and undamaged.
In spite of hysteria in the Western media the videos from webcams installed on the streets help evaluate the situation objectively. For example, the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, is quiet. And here is footage from Kharkov - an ordinary day. Another piece is from the city of Sumy, cars are driving on the roads. In general, there is nothing that indicates that the situation is alarming.
The day before, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergei Lavrov also made a knowingly false statement. He stated that there were no mothers or children in the maternity hospital in Mariupol, where the Russian army purposefully fired several air strikes. While saying that Lavrov nervously twisted the microphone wire in his hands.
Sergei Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation like we said on March 7 in the Security Council, in the maternity hospital there are no women, no children, no staff at the moment. Azov Battalion together with other radicals have set up a stronghold there.
However, later on Facebook and Twitter removed posts
from the Russian Federation about the destroyed maternity hospital in Mariupol being used as a military base and not functioning at all.

Humanitarian catastrophe in Mariupol, Donetsk oblast. The city - one of the closest to the so-called DNR, occupied by Russia - has been mercilessly shelled by the Russian troops for several days. And they have broken the agreement on the "green corridor" for the civilian population every time. On March 8, a 6-year-old girl died of dehydration under the rubble of a house.
On March 9, a maternity hospital was bombed, three people were killed, including a child. Municipal services employees have to bury Ukrainians who have died from shelling in mass graves.Because of constant Russians attacks they don’t have a choice.
The occupiers also do not allow humanitarian aid to Mariupol. People stand in lines for drinking water!
People have to drink directly from puddles. Locals call such actions of the Russian Federation "genocide of the civilian population".
Russian occupiers shoot artillery on Ukrainian elderly people. Surveillance footage shows a Russian BMP firing on a civilian vehicle that stopped at the stop sign. It happened in the village of Makariv, Kyiv oblast. A man and a woman in their 70s were in the car shot by the occupiers.
The high-pressure gas pipeline was disabled by Russian troops near Svitlodarsk. It is a small town in Donetsk oblast, with a population of 13,000 people. The gas pipeline on fire can be seen from afar! Without gas there will be no heating and people will not be able to cook. Despite constant shelling, repair crews continue to work in the region. Currently, due to enemy attacks, the village of Myronivka near Svitlodarsk is without electricity and water supply. There is no possibility to start repairs.
He was shooting at civilian targets like at military ones. Alexander Krasnoyartsev, a Russian pilot captured by Ukrainians - a major and a first-class pilot - confessed! He said that he had made three operational flights on the territory of Ukraine and was shot down during the third one:
00.15 - we were told that we would be working on military objects, but we received the coordinates of civilian facilities, including residential areas of the city of Chernihiv. We use unguided bombs that cause a large number of civilian casualties. I saw the results of our air strikes with my own eyes - destroyed houses and killed civilians.
The Russian captive pilot also addressed his colleagues in the occupied Crimea:
- Do not take part in the war against Ukraine. We are not fighting against some sort of Nazis, but against the entire people of Ukraine. Do not disgrace your name, do not kill women and children.

Іnvaders must pay for the murders and destruction. Volodymyr Zelenski signed the law on nationalization of Russian property in Ukraine.
Now the state can confiscate movable and immovable property of the Russian Federation and its residents: funds, deposits in banks, securities, corporate rights, and other assets registered in Ukraine without any compensation for their value.
The President also promised: the Russian propagandists will pay for the victims of the war with money.
- You will be responsible as anyone for dropping bombs on civilians. We will find all the property of the propagandists and their connected persons. We will do everything we can to confiscate it everywhere, wherever it is.
Who have been telling Russians lies about Ukraine for years, war crimes would not have been possible.
A lesson in humanity for Russians. While the occupiers repeatedly break agreements on a humanitarian corridor to the occupied Mariupol, the Head of Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitalii Kim decided to give "green corridor" for invaders who don't want to fight.
- I would like to address the Russian occupiers. We give them a chance in any case. We know - they are standing there, on the border of Kherson oblast and Mykolaiv oblast, they are talking to our people. What is the problem with the Russians? They do not want to attack, but they cannot return, because they have been told by the other side - in the city of Kherson - that they would be shot during the retreat. And here they are - in the villages, near the villages - and they cannot move anywhere.
Vitalii Kim said that tomorrow he will try to organize a "hot line" for the soldiers to find out "where to call, where to come if you want to stay alive and not return to Russia to go to prison."
The Mayor of Mykolaiv pointed out that there can be no "green corridor" for artillerymen, missile launchers and all those who shoot at the civilian population.
Civilian Ukrainians are ready to do anything to stay away from the Russians who came to liberate them. For four days the residents have been fleeing the besieged city of Irpin near Kyiv. As for now 2,000 people have left. Some of them have been hiding in basements for 12 days. Therefore, even destroyed bridges and icy water can’t stop them. They all know that the Russians can easily "forget" about the "green corridor" and start shelling at any moment. The day before, eight people died during evacuation like this.
Odessa Zoo has sheltered more than three hundred pets. City residents who are being evacuated have the opportunity to leave their animals that need special care under the supervision of specialists. Ihor Beliakov, zoo director, said that unlike other Ukrainian zoos Odessa zoo receives food deliveries, they have water storage in case of problems with water supply, the power supply is ok for now.
For eight days we have been accepting animals. We have sheltered more than 300 of them. All kinds. There are turtles, chameleons, snakes, iguanas, parrots and other birds.
The zoo staff continues to work, taking care of animals’ well-being, despite the fact that for several days the Russians have been preparing to attack Odessa and land there. Today a Russian warship has fired in the direction of the city to intimidate the civilians.

Russian terrorists destroyed a children's hospital and a maternity ward in the city of Mariupol. The City Council informs that several air bombs have been dropped on the building. The hospital buildings have been severely damaged. Information on the dead or injured is currently being clarified.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky posted a shocking footage from the place of the bombing on his Instagram! In the caption to the video, he once again called on the world not to ignore terror and close the skies over Ukraine.
In two weeks of aggression Russians have killed at least 61 children in total.
Russian terrorists fired on a column of civilians during the evacuation from the town of Demydiv in Kyiv region. The press service of the Kyiv Region Police Department informs that the policeman accompanying the buses died on spot and two people are now in a critical condition after the shelling.
In total, 100 people were evacuated from the town, one third of them - children!
Russian terrorists have already detained more than 400 citizens who opposed occupation Kherson! Russian guard street patrols are trying to incorporate an administrative-police regime and suppress protests of the local population… Despite the danger, Kherson residents go out on the streets every day with Ukrainian flags and continue to resist the invaders!
In the city of Skadovsk in Kherson region, where Russians have intruded today, the occupiers are also suppressing all rallies. For example, the occupiers sprayed protesters faces with a fire extinguisher just for fun.
They addressed the world via music! A symphony concert "Free Sky" took place on Independence Square in Kyiv! With their performance, the musicians joined the call of the Ukrainian people and President Volodymyr Zelensky to close the skies over our country.

"We don't set expectations high on these negotiations, but our position is strong”, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba about the talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Seregey Lavrov, which are to take place tomorrow. According to Kuleba, Ukrainian diplomats will try to make the most of this opportunity.
Ukrenergo informs that due to the shelling Chernobyl nuclear power plant was completely de-energized. All nuclear facilities in Chernobyl Exclusion Zone have been cut off from the power supply. Energoatom explained why this situation is very threatening:
"About 20,000 spent fuel assemblies are stored at the spent nuclear fuel storage facility - 1. They need constant cooling, which is only possible with the power supply on. Without electricity the pumps will not be able to cool the facility. As a result, the temperature in the pools will increase, evaporation and release of radioactive substances into the environment will occur. The wind can transfer a radioactive cloud to other regions of Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Europe "
Odessa is fortifying now. The barricades can be found not only around government buildings. The symbol of Odessa, the monument to the first mayor Duke de Richelieu has been covered with sandbags. People also try to protect architectural monuments in the city of Lviv in Western Ukraine. A few days ago, a statue of Jesus Christ was taken out of the Armenian Cathedral. Last time the statue left the cathedral during World War II. Together with the figures of the Mother of God and Mary Magdalene, they were dismantled and transported to a safe depository. Some sculptures and fountains in the Market Square have been wrapped in fireproof fabric and special foil. This will at least protect them from the threat of fire or shock wave.
Tell Russians the truth - 40 million calls to stop the war. Ukraine asks all Russian-speaking people to join the #CallRussia international information campaign. Its purpose is to tell the residents of the Russian Federation zombied by Russian propaganda the truth about the real events in Ukraine.
The calls are free. An application on the CallRussia campaign website will automatically generate individual Russian phone numbers for each volunteer. The website also has recommendations on how to prepare emotionally for the call and have a calm conversation.

Serhii Perebyinis is a resident of Irpin, one of the cities that was first to take a hit from Russian occupiers on their way to Ukrainian capital. After the evacuation announcement, he and his wife together with their daughter and son tried to escape through a humanitarian corridor. But they couldn’t do it. The Russian military opened fire on the family with mortars. A woman and two children died on the spot. Serhii was wounded.
After the loss of relatives, the grief-stricken man tried to find at least the dogs that were with his family at the time of the tragedy.
His two dogs were taken away by rescuers and handed over to veterinarians. Unfortunately, one dog’s paw was torn off. And he did not live to see his master.
For Serhii and his family this was the second attempt to escape from the war. In 2014, they were forced to leave their home in Russian-occupied Donetsk. But in 2022, the Russian war took away Serhii’s family in a peaceful Kyiv region.
The cities of Irpin, Bucha, Vorzel, Gostomel. They lay at the entrance to Kyiv and have become a living shield of the Ukrainian capital. There is no electricity and gas, practically no network, the cities have nearly run out of food supplies and water. By not allowing humanitarian aid to these cities, Russian occupiers are literally starving the population. Also, “green corridors” continue to be shelled, despite all the evacuation agreements.
Ukrainians do not want war, but they will defend their land! In the video captured by security cameras of the city of Voznesensk, Mykolaiv oblast three armed Russian occupiers are breaking into the courtyard of civilians.
But the hosts were not confused. They got out of the barn and went unarmed to attack the strangers.
Uninvited guests began to back up, still trying to frighten the couple, but finally, they went away .
Close the sky over Ukraine to survive. Ukrainians are asking the world just for one thing. Kharkiv residents who have not left bunkers, subways and other shelters for several days sign appeals to NATO countries. After all, Kharkiv, a city near the Russian border, continues to be bombed by Russian troops. This is one of the cities that have suffered the most during 13 days of the war.

In the morning of March 7, the Russian invaders fired a massive shelling of residential areas of Mykolaiv from Smerch multiple-launch missile systems. The amount of victims are being updated, and firefighters are extinguishing the fires. However, the city stands the ground, as Vitaly Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv regional state administration, assures.

From the first day of the war, Russia has been constantly striking from the air. In addition to various types of bombs, the Russians fired more than 500 cruise missiles at Ukrainians. The war in Ukraine. Digest 13
Eight days under siege by Russian invaders. The city of Mariupol, Donetsk region, which has no electricity, heat, water and mobile service supplies, has been waiting three days for a "green corridor" to evacuate the local population. Arrangements between the Ukrainian authorities and invaders troops are not working. As soon as the evacuation of civilians begins and humanitarian supplies are dispatched, the Russian troops begin tactical regrouping to take more advantageous positions. The situation in Mariupol was reported by Mayor Vadym Boychenko.
We gather people at locations where we are ready to evacuate, we are ready to drive vehicles to specific points and at that moment the shelling begins.
The day before, when the Ukrainian military made a corridor for people to leave the city, at that moment the Russians began a tank invasion of Mariupyl. Because of this, a battle broke out and the evacuation was cancelled.
More than 2,000 civilians were rescued from one of the most dangerous areas near Kyiv. The bombed-out town of Irpin is now surrounded by invading troops. After the railroad track was blown up, the only way to evacuate was to cross the river on foot, because the bridge was destroyed. The Ukrainian military and police, together with representatives of local authorities, helped with the evacuation.
Escaping from the dangerous city of Irpin, locals abandoned dozens of their cars on the bridge, because there is no road.
During several days of evacuation to Kyiv, about a dozen people came under fire from the Russian military. Some people were killed.
In 12 days, Russia bombed 34 hospitals and more than two hundred schools in Ukraine. The information anounced by Mykhailo Podolyak, the head of the presidential office advisor. Some of the buildings were completely destroyed, some can still be renovated. The Russian military also destroyed or damaged one thousand and 5 hundred residential buildings, among them apartment high-rises. More than 900 towns in Ukraine are left without electricity, water and heating supplies. Several major Ukrainian cities are on the verge of humanitarian catastrophe. This is because they are surrounded by the enemies, and they don't allow a safe "green corridor".
Barbarians of the XXI century... The Russian army is not able to fight against other armies. But it can kill civilians very well.

We are being killed and there is no help! Vladislav Cherniavsky, a resident of Gostomel, near Kyiv, published a story about the reality of the war in his city.
Day 12 of the war, they killed our neighbors, we heard their cries for help, but there was nothing we could do to help. They almost killed my uncle and killed our dog when he tried to protect our grandmother. They destroyed almost our whole town. Everything my family has worked on all their lives, everything that was dear to me, businesses, and everything needs to be rebuilt, if it's still possible, I don't know. We have no way to leave our home. ... The heating is gone. We are occupied. They shoot every person who tries to escape.
Citizens of Kherson continue to protest against the invaders. In front of the armed soldiers, they come out with Ukrainian flags. Today at such a protest the invaders started beating a boy. But the people were able to push away the armed Russian.
Russian occupiers set fire to two oil depots at once! As a result of two air strikes, oil depots in the city of Zhytomyr and the nearby town of Chernyakhiv were hit. People living nearby have already been evacuated. According to preliminary information, there are no victims.

Another attempt will be made to evacuate civilians from Mariupol. According to city administration information, they managed to agree with the invaders on a silent period from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Three gathering points have been set up in the city, where buses will be waiting for them. It is also possible to leave Mariupol by own car, moving in a column of municipal transport. Representatives of Red Cross will ride at the head of the column. This is the second attempt to organize a "Green Corridor" from the city. The day before, the Russian invaders did not keep the silence, did not stop shooting, and disrupted the evacuation.
The invaders are shelling civilians trying to leave Irpin, Kyiv region. People try to get out by foot over the blown-up bridge, but they are attacked by gunfire.
According to TSN journalists, at least half a dozen mortar shells were fired at intervals of two to three minutes in the morning. One of the bombs fell where the people were. They had already crossed the pass by that time. Four people died, including two children. The day before, Russian invaders blew up one of the railroad tracks, causing two cars of the evacuation train that was supposed to pick up people from Irpin to derail. Consequently, only buses or cars can leave the half-destroyed city.
Russian troops continue shelling residential areas of Bucha in the Kyiv region, the press service of the Bucha city council reports.
People are without electricity, heating, Internet connection and mobile services for several days now. The enemy continues to shell houses and cars, kill civilians and even children, and rob stores. It is impossible to deliver humanitarian supplies - the city is under siege by the enemy. The city council receives about a thousand messages a day asking for food and water. In general, the area around Kyiv has been subjected to widespread destruction by Russian troops in recent days. The invaders bombed Bucha, Irpin, Gostomel, Borodyanka, Vasilkiv, and Vorzel with rockets.
Ukraine asks NATO to close the sky in order to save the lives of civilians.

A cruise missile was shot down over Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital in Kyiv. The shelling damaged the windows and almost broke out the doors. The hospital's press service reports that doctors continue doing surgeries, performing dialysis and maintaining patriotic spirit. Due to constant shelling of Russian occupiers last night, two seriously injured children could not be brought to the hospital. They died.
2 people killed and many wounded. Today, Russian occupiers fired on residential buildings in the city of Kramatorsk. A number of houses on Kramatorsky Boulevard were hit.
Police and doctors are currently on spot. Experts have not yet established the kind of weapon used. Presumably, it was a cruise missile. Kramatorsk Mayor Oleksandr Honcharenko called on the international community to close the skies over Ukraine.
34 hospitals in Ukraine have already been shut down because of Russian shelling.
Viktor Lyashko, Minister of Health of Ukraine has stated that some buildings are completely destroyed and some are left without water and electricity.
He has also stressed that this is another violation of the Geneva Convention, as medical workers and hospitals should not be involved in military conflicts.
Because of the shelling, doctors are unable to provide adults or children with medical aid on time. Since the invasion of the occupiers in Ukraine, 38 children died and 71 have been injured.
Shots at a peaceful protest. In the city of Nova Kakhovka, the occupiers dispersed people carrying flags with machine gun bursts. But despite the risk of death, people in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian cities go to peaceful rallies and demonstrations. In three other cities in Kherson oblast: Henichesk, Kakhovka, and Novooleksiyivka, thousands of people with posters and flags came out to show Russian soldiers that no one had called them to Ukraine. In Novooleksiyivka among protesters there were many Crimean Tatars who demanded that Russians leave the Crimean peninsula, the Tatars’ homeland.
More than 140,000 Ukrainians have returned from abroad since the Russian invasion began. Eighty percent of them are men who are ready to defend their homeland. At the same time, more than 1.5 million refugees have already crossed Ukraine's borders. People are fleeing from Russian soldiers and shelling of peaceful cities.

The war in Ukraine. Digest 7
The largest ecological catastrophe of mankind can happen again! That night, Russian invaders fired at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. It is located in Energodar. The Russians hit the first power unit. Terrorists also fired at rescuers and did not allow to extinguish the fire! The worst was managed to avoid…But the occupiers are NOT conducting a fair fight, so for humanity it could be like six Chernobyls. Now the territory of Zaorizhzhia NPP is occupied by Russians! One unit continues to operate, staff have been allowed to work, but all six reactors contain nuclear fuel and if a projectile hits there, there will be a global catastrophe.
President Volodymyr Zelensky once again begs Western partners to close the skies over Ukraine:
We need immediate tightening of sanctions against the state of the nuclear terrorist, we need an immediate closure of the skies over Ukraine, because only this can guarantee that Russia will not hit at least missiles and air bombs on nuclear facilities.
47 civilians were killed, including 38 men and 9 women. Such are the consequences of the bombing of Chernihiv by Russian aircraft! There were fierce battles yesterday. They were destroying everything. Schools:
Shock content - I was in school number 21 when the explosion happened, I survived in fact there were a lot of children in this school, I don’t know if they survived or not
Private houses and blocks of flats, entire residential areas came under air fire! Also - fired at the oil depot. The worst thing is that there are no military facilities near the destroyed houses and schools. After all, as the Russian president said, Vladimir Putin - the Russians do not destroy anything civilian. The mayor of Chernihiv compares the same losses as now to those suffered by the city in August 1941, when the Nazis invaded Ukraine.
A Russian rocket tore apart the 25th school in Zhytomyr, a city in northern Ukraine! The mayor of Zhytomyr Sergey Sukhomlin reported about it this morning:
in fact half of the school was destroyed, rescue work is undergone.
According to the State Emergency Service, no one was killed, 5 people were evacuated. This is how the 25th lyceum looked like before the invasion of the Russian occupiers! A lmost 1,200 children were studying at this school, 102 teachers were working and 42 classes were functioning! Zhytomyr Lyceum had been worked for 103 years before the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation.

Due to continued shelling by Russian vehicles - there was a fire at the Zaporizhzhia NPP last night. By 6:40 a.m., however, the fire had been isolated.
Rescue teams say that the plant's nuclear unit facility is undamaged.
One of the buildings of the training complex caught fire. However, high risks remain because of nuclear safety issues. An explosion is potentially ten times dangerous than Chernobyl.
Zaporizhzhya NPP is the largest in Europe, with six power units. They are located on the banks of the Dnieper River, whose waters flow into the Black Sea, which is joined to the Mediterranean Sea. This is the first time in the world that a nuclear power plant has been shelled.
A three-year-old girl died while her family was escaping from shelling a few kilometers from the capital.
She injured her femur and lost a lot of blood.
The girl's death was reported by the head of the hospital in Irpin', where they tried to save her life. According to him, the girl's family came under fire right in the middle of the road. Now the parents cannot even bury their daughter, because there are battles around the city.
One of the most destroyed regions of Ukraine as a result of the Russian invasion is the Sumy region. In the town of Trostyanets they cannot even calculate the number of victims, because the shelling does not stop. According to the head of the region - the enemy is shooting at civilians right in the center of the city. And they don't even allow to take away the bodies of the dead.
Many bodies are still lying on the streets between the houses. There is no way to bury the dead bodies.
