Eight days under siege by Russian invaders. The city of Mariupol, Donetsk region, which has no electricity, heat, water and mobile service supplies, has been waiting three days for a "green corridor" to evacuate the local population. Arrangements between the Ukrainian authorities and invaders troops are not working. As soon as the evacuation of civilians begins and humanitarian supplies are dispatched, the Russian troops begin tactical regrouping to take more advantageous positions. The situation in Mariupol was reported by Mayor Vadym Boychenko.

We gather people at locations where we are ready to evacuate, we are ready to drive vehicles to specific points and at that moment the shelling begins.

The day before, when the Ukrainian military made a corridor for people to leave the city, at that moment the Russians began a tank invasion of Mariupyl. Because of this, a battle broke out and the evacuation was cancelled.
More than 2,000 civilians were rescued from one of the most dangerous areas near Kyiv. The bombed-out town of Irpin is now surrounded by invading troops. After the railroad track was blown up, the only way to evacuate was to cross the river on foot, because the bridge was destroyed. The Ukrainian military and police, together with representatives of local authorities, helped with the evacuation.

Escaping from the dangerous city of Irpin, locals abandoned dozens of their cars on the bridge, because there is no road.

During several days of evacuation to Kyiv, about a dozen people came under fire from the Russian military. Some people were killed.
In 12 days, Russia bombed 34 hospitals and more than two hundred schools in Ukraine. The information anounced by Mykhailo Podolyak, the head of the presidential office advisor. Some of the buildings were completely destroyed, some can still be renovated. The Russian military also destroyed or damaged one thousand and 5 hundred residential buildings, among them apartment high-rises. More than 900 towns in Ukraine are left without electricity, water and heating supplies. Several major Ukrainian cities are on the verge of humanitarian catastrophe. This is because they are surrounded by the enemies, and they don't allow a safe "green corridor".

Barbarians of the XXI century... The Russian army is not able to fight against other armies. But it can kill civilians very well.
Mykhailo Podolyak, Advisor to the Head of the President's Office

The International Court of Justice in The Hague today began hearing on the case of Ukraine against Russia on charges of genocide by the Russian side due to the criminal invasion of Ukraine.
