Psalms 145:3, “Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.” I just want to praise the Lord my God and Savior, for He is greater than great, more than amazing, and more wonderful than the human understanding could ever perceive. The psalmist plainly exclaims in our text verse that HIS GREATNESS IS UNSEARCHABLE!!! We have a Creator whose beauty and magnificence is beyond the scope of mere mortal words. I can only make an utterly feeble attempt to exalt and praise my awesome Creator and Redeemer!!! The words simply don't exist. We all owe God a debt of sincere gratitude that simply cannot be expressed in words. What a precious Savior!!!!!!! Deuteronomy 5:24, “And ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth.” God is truly an amazing God, and more than amazing!!! Mark 5:20, “And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.” We are so utterly undeserving of God's abundant blessings. Psalms 145:9, “The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.” The man with no shoes ought to be thankful when he considers the man with no legs. The person with no home ought to be thankful for a dry place to sleep. The man with many problems ought to rejoice that he is not burning forever in the tormentuous fires of a burning Hell. When I start to become discouraged, I am remind of people who are quadriplegic, unable to move either of their arms or legs, crippled in a wheelchair for the rest of their life. It takes me about 10 seconds to get over my melancholy. I thank God that I can get up on my own out of bed each day. I thank God that I can bathe myself, feed myself and take care of myself. There are millions of people around the world who would give anything just to be able to walk upon their own two feet, but they cannot. Take care of your health my friend. It is very true that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! God is more than amazing!!! Most people (including Christian believers) don't thank and praise God enough. The first thing I purpose to do each morning when I awake is to sincerely thank God for another day, and tell Him that I love Him dearly. Those two things are really important. God created man in His image. God needs to be praised and told that we love Him. God loves to be bragged on. The first thing that Jesus taught His disciples to pray are the words, “HALLOWED BE THY NAME!” Matthew 6:9, “After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.” Don't miss that truth! God loves to be bragged on! Praise is bragging on God for WHAT HE DOES; Worship is bragging on God for WHO HE IS. The blessed Father, Son and Holy Spirit in Heaven are worthy of all our worship, praise and admiration. There is only one God. Deuteronomy 6:4-5, “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.” But God exists in the form of a Godhead (aka, Trinity). Matthew 28:19-20, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” The Triune nature of God is a fundamental doctrine of the Christian faith. The Scriptures make clear that God the Son sits on a separate physical throne, to the right of His Father. Colossians 3:1, “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.” So we see that there is one God, who exists in three distinctive persons, which form the Godhead. Colossians 2:8-9, “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” When you met Jesus upon the earth, you met the Godhead incarnate, that is, the Godhead manifest in the flesh. What an amazing truth! What an omnipotent God!!! One thing that I have plainly noticed in today's counterfeit emerging church, is a famine of Bible doctrine. The Word of God foretold of this famine of truth in the last days. Amos 8:11, “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD.” I heard Dr. Gail Riplinger say something amazing recently, and she is so right. She said that the Devil's crowd are “SECULARIZING THE BIBLE!” That is exactly what they are doing. Five times in the New Testament Jesus is called the only “begotten” Son of God. Those five times are John 1:14; John 1:18; John 3:16; John 3:18; and 1 John 4:9. I just checked, which you can do for yourself here, to see if the New International Version (NIV) removed the word begotten, and sure enough they did, from ALL FIVE REFERENCES! Ladies and gentlemen, the satanic publishers of the NIV (it should be called the “Non Inspired Version”) have removed every mention of Jesus being the only “BEGOTTEN” Son of God, which is a direct, blatant and malicious attack against His virgin birth and deity! God is truly more than amazing, and I praise Him for all that He is and does. Thank God for keeping His solemn promise in Psalms 12:6-7 to preserve His pure Word unto every generation and forever. Thank God for keeping His solemn promise to give us eternal life (Titus 1:2) by faith alone in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. When I look at the stars, innumerable by human detection, I am more than amazed at God's greatness!!! When I attempt to consider all that God does and maintains in creation, my small brain cannot even begin to grasp such omnipotence. I am greatly humbled when I pause to consider that God doesn't expect me to understand everything, but only to have faith in Him. Critics have described the theology of the organization as promoting black superiority over whites, antisemitism and anti-LGBT rhetoric. The Southern Poverty Law Center tracks the NOI as a hate group. Its official newspaper is The Final Call. In 2007, the core membership was estimated to be between 20,000 and 50,000. It’s hard to imagine Elijah Muhammad growing up in a Baptist home and then becoming a Muslim (one who adheres to the Islamic Faith), but he did. Genuine Muslims and Baptists believe each other are going straight to hell. Elijah Muhammad was a devout Muslim and believed that only Allah was God, not Jesus. Here are Elijah’s own words: “In Detroit one day in the latter part of 1931, our leader met with Master W.D. Fard --THE SAVIOUR--Who was teaching among Blacks at 3208 Hasting Street. Elijah believed that he was the last great prophet that Allah (W.D. Fard) would send before the end of the world. Here are Elijah Muhammad’s objectives: “I am doing all I can to make the so-called Negroes see that the white race and their religion (Christianity) are their open enemies, and to prove to them that they will never be anything but the devils' slaves and finally go to hell with them for believing and following them and their kind.” So it’s clear that one cannot be a Christian and a Black Muslim. Elijah Muhammad (as do all Muslims), rejects the deity of Christ (that He is God). They don’t believe Jesus was ever crucified, nor do they believe that Jesus can forgive sin. They say God has no Son. They claim Jesus was a prophet of Allah, no more. Both Islam (Muslims) and Black Muslims reject the Bible (Word of God) on the claim that it is distorted and corrupt, they claim the Quran (also Koran) as God’s only Word. The Quran is nothing more than an Anti-Jew, anti-Christian book filled with jumbled words and much contempt for Jesus Christ and His Word. It’s important to recognize that orthodox Muslims (followers of the Islamic religion) are not the same thing as Black Muslims. Nearly all Muslims reject Elijah Muhammad and his foolishness. Elijah was first a Muslim and then simply started his own false religion in addition. Muslims do not recognize Elijah Muhammad as anything except a nut. However, the two religions do have quite a bit in common—mainly that Elijah Muhammad was an Islamic Muslim. Elijah Muhammad foolishly claimed that the Bible prophesied of his coming in Deuteronomy 18:18 and Malachi 4:5. Let’s hear what this prophet says about white people: “The Yakub made devils were really pale white, with really blue eyes; which we think are the ugliest of colors for a human eye. They were called Caucasian.” According to Elijah Muhammad, Yakub was a black scientist that created the white race in a laboratory by separating one of his own black germs; hence, all white people came from a black man. Elijah adds, “The black nation is only fooling themselves to take the Caucasian race otherwise. This is what Jesus learned to their history, before He gave up His work of trying to convert the Jews or white race to the religion of Islam. The Holy Quran (Surah 49:13-15) throws a great light on the truth of the creation of this pale, white race of devils. Black people have a heart of gold, love and mercy. Such a heart, nature did not give to the white race.” Wow! This is religious science-fiction at it’s best folks. Elijah Muhammad had a strong influence over multitudes of blacks because of his message against the cruelty, killings and slavery which was inflicted upon them by many of the whites. He offered a message of hope. Sadly, he rejected Jesus Christ and led many multitudes down a wrong path to Islam (Allah worship). His influence is still great today even though he died in 1975. His foolish teachings concerning the white race are ludicrous and simply indicate the bitterness and anger he was never able to resolve in his own sinful heart. He was a man without Christ! Malcolm-X (or Malcolm Little) first converted to the Black Muslim religion while in prison. Upon his release in 1952, Malcolm-X became a minister of the Black Muslim religion. In 1963, he and Elijah Muhammad split up due to their differences. Malcolm converted over to orthodox Islam and denied his affiliation with Elijah Muhammad’s Black Muslim religion. Two years later in 1965, Malcolm-X was murdered. Louis Farrakhan is also a Black Muslim and is well known for organizing the “Million-Man March” in Washington D.C. He follows the unscriptural doctrines of Elijah Muhammad, as do all Black Muslims. Below is the death announcement of Messenger Elijah Muhammad: “On February 25, 1975, at the age of 78, Elijah Muhammad died in a Chicago hospital, reportedly, of congestive heart failure -- with no aid from white people, he left behind, an empire, estimated to be worth $60,000,000, which included LAND and cattle holdings in Michigan, Georgia and Alabama, along with grocery stores, restaurants, mosques, schools and newspapers, homes, clothing stores and many other things.” All this wealth and Elijah Muhammad couldn’t take a dime of it with him. He left this world at 78 without Jesus and went straight to hell-fire and damnation. He didn’t go to hell because of his sins, but for his unbelief in Jesus Christ. All Muslims (Islamic and Black) reject Jesus Christ as their Savior. They say they will accept the Jews and Christians—"If they reject Christ." Will you reject Jesus Christ, God’s son? Call on Jesus now, friend, to forgive your sins. “And hath made of ONE BLOOD all the nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth...THAT THEY SHOULD SEEK THE LORD…” (Acts 17:26,27).

Christians and Muslims DON'T Worship the Same God! I have received quite a few letters recently from Muslims who are insistent that Islam and Christianity worship the same God. If fact, even George W. Bush, a professed "Christian," said the same thing to ABC news correspondent, Charles Gibson... In an exclusive interview with ABC News' Charles Gibson, Bush said he believes that both Christians and Muslims worship the same God. "I think we do. We have different routes of getting to the Almighty," Bush said. "But I want you to understand, I want your listeners to understand, I don't get to get decide who goes to heaven. The Almighty God decides who goes to heaven and I am on my personal walk," he said. --ABC News, October 26, 2004 Do Muslims and Christians worship the SAME God? NO!!!!!!!!!!!! Allah is a fictitious, fabricated, false god from the 9th century ... the moon god (which you will see later in this article). According to www.thetruereligion.org... "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." 1st John 2:22 calls ALL Muslims "LIARS" because they deny that Jesus is the Christ... "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son." According to the Word of God, you are a liar and an ANTI-Christ if you deny the Father AND THE SON. Clearly, the Koran and the Bible are completely INCOMPATIBLE. The Bible declares that Jesus Christ is God's only begotten Son; BUT, Islam claims that God has no Son. Revelation 4:11 declares that Jesus is WORTHY of worship, because He is deity. Islam denies that Jesus is God. Islam Denies the Godhead and Jesus' Deity! The following quote is from the Koran, Surah 4:171, Women... "O followers of the Book! do not exceed the limits in your religion, and do not speak (lies) against Allah, but (speak) the truth; the Messiah, Isa son of Marium is only an apostle of Allah and His Word which He communicated to Marium and a spirit from Him; believe therefore in Allah and His apostles, and say not, Three. Desist, it is better for you; Allah is only one God; far be It from His glory that He should have a son, whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His, and Allah is sufficient for a Protector." Islam denies that Jesus ever died on the cross. The following quote is from the Koran, Surah 4:157, Women... "And their saying: Surely we have killed the Messiah, Isa son of Marium, the apostle of Allah; and they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them so (like Isa) and most surely those who differ therein are only in a doubt about it; they have no knowledge respecting it, but only follow a conjecture, and they killed him not for sure." According to 1st John 2:22, the Islam religion is ANTI-Christ and a bunch of lies, because they deny Jesus is the Christ.

Allah is a Big Fraud! "Allah" is derived from a compound Arabic word, AL + ILAH = Allah. "ILAH" in Arabic is "God" and "AL" in Arabic is a definite article like our word "the." So from an English equivalent, "Allah" comes from "The + God." Others, like Arthur Jeffery say, "The common theory is that it is formed from ilah, the common word for a god, and the article al-; thus al-ilah, the god," becomes Allah, "God." This theory, however, is untenable. In fact, the name is one of the words borrowed into the language in pre-Islamic times from Aramaic." It is abundantly clear that Muhammad DIDN'T introduce Allah to the world: "But history establishes beyond the shadow of doubt that even the pagan Arabs, before Muhammad’s time, knew their chief god by the name of Allah and even, in a sense, proclaimed his unity...Among the pagan Arabs this term denoted the chief god of their pantheon, the Kaaba, with its three hundred and sixty idols." (The Moslem Doctrine of God, Samuel M. Zwemer 1905, p 24-25). "Historians like Vaqqidi have said Allah was actually the chief of the 360 gods [one for each day of the year] being worshipped in Arabia at the time Muhammad rose to prominence. Ibn Al-Kalbi gave 27 names of pre-Islamic deities... Interestingly, not many Muslims want to accept that Allah was already being worshipped at the Ka'ba in Mecca by Arab pagans before Muhammad came. Some Muslims become angry when they are confronted with this fact. But history is not on their side. Pre-Islamic literature has proved this." (Who Is This Allah?, G. J. O. Moshay, 1994, p 138). "Islam also owes the term "Allah" to the heathen Arabs. We have evidence that it entered into numerous personal names in Northern Arabia and among the Nabatians. "Arabia in Muhammad’s time was polytheistic in its conception of the cosmos and tribal in its social structure. Mohammed was swift to shed blood (Romans 3:15-17); Christ shed His own blood for the salvation of many (Ephesians 1:7). Mohammed preached "Death to the infidels!"; Christ prayed "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do" (Luke 23:34). Mohammed declared a holy war (Jihad) against infidels; Christ achieved a holy victory on Calvary's cross (Colossians 2:14-15) and His followers share in that victory (John 16:33). Mohammed constrained people by conquest; Christ constrained people by love (2 Corinthians 5:14). Modern terrorists derive their inspiration from Mohammed and carry out their despicable atrocities in the name of his god; Christians derive their inspiration from the One who said, "Blessed are the peacemakers" (Matthew 5:9). Modern day disciples of Mohammed respond to the terrorist attacks by cheering in the streets; Modern day disciples of Christ are deeply grieved at past atrocities carried out by those who were "Christians" in name only (the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, etc.). Many Muslims are peaceful and peace-loving because they do not strictly follow the teachings of their founder; Many Christians are peaceful and peace-loving because they do strictly follow the teachings of their Founder (Romans 12:17-21). Mohammed said the Koran is authoritative only in Arabic, and only in his dialect; The Bible is authoritative in many languages around the world, for God knows all things and can inspire His Word in more than one language. Mohammed hated music; Jesus and His disciples sang hymns, and the Apostle commanded the Lord's Church to sing. (Matthew 26:30, Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16) Mohammed allowed that a Mullah, Imam, or Mufti of Islam can be a terrorist and moral animal like Osama bin Laden; The Bible requires that a leader in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ must be above reproach, and when this is not true, Christians demand such a fallen leader be removed from leadership. (1 Timothy 3:1-7, 5:19-20) Islam calls on its followers to observe Five Pillars, while all other aspects of life can be vulgar and not affect the Muslim's prospects in Paradise. The Bible calls on the Christian to submit to the total change of his life by the Spirit of God-- NO area of life and thought is the choice of the follower. (Romans 12:1-2) The Muslim looks forward to eternity in Paradise where there will be virgins who are used for eternal perpetual copulation. The Bible believing Christian looks forward to being with Jesus Christ and is delighted with that. (2 Corinthians 5:8) Mohammed said the witness of a woman was half the value of the witness of a man; and Muhammed said a women goes to Paradise because she satisfies her husband sexually; The Bible teaches that a husband is to love his wife and be willing to die for her. (Ephesians 5:25) Mohammed called upon his servants to fight; Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world; if My kingdom were of this world, then would My servants fight . . .but now is My kingdom not from here" (John 18:36) Mohammed ordered death to the Jews (see A.Guillaume, The Life of Muhammad, Oxford University Press [1975], p. 369); Christ ordered that the gospel be preached "to the Jew first" (Romans 1:16). The Koran says, "Fight in the cause of Allah" (Qu'ran 2.244); The Bible says, "we wrestle not against flesh and blood" and "the weapons of our warfare are not carnal" (Ephesians 6:12; 2 Corinthians 10:4). The Koran says, "Fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them" (Qu'ran 9.5); Christ said, "Preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15). The Koran says, "I will inspire terror into the hearts of unbelievers" (Qu'ran 8.12); God inspires His terror into the hearts of believers (Isaiah 8:13). The Koran (Qu'ran) is a terrorist manual which condones fighting, conflict, terror, slaughter, and genocide against those who do not accept Islam; The Bible is a missionary manual to spread the gospel of peace to all the world (Romans 10:15). Mohammed's Mission was to conquer the world for Allah; Christ's mission was to conquer sin's penalty and power by substitutionary atonement (2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Peter 3:18). Mohammed considered Christ a good prophet; Christ pronounced Mohammed to be a false prophet (John 10:10; Matthew 24:11). Mohammed claimed that there was but one God, Allah; Christ claimed that He was God (John 10:30-31; John 8:58-59; John 5:18; John 14:9). Islam is geocentric, that is, the whole universe is centered on the Kaaba in the Grand mosque in Mecca in Arabia, and all Muslims pray facing that direction; Jesus Christ is the center of all Christian worship and fellowship, for He is "in the midst" where his saints meet anywhere on earth. (Matthew 18:20, John 4:22-23) Mohammed's Tomb: OCCUPIED! Christ's tomb: EMPTY! Islam must be received, or you can be killed for rejecting it: The Faith offered by Jesus Christ is for "whosoever will" to receive, and all men are permitted to reject it. (Revelation 22:17, John 3:16) Those who leave Islam are killed in most Islamic nations; Those who leave the true Church of Jesus Christ are allowed to do so with no revenge. Now, is a Muslim submitted to Allah and Islam because he loves Allah? NO! He dare not leave Islam, and he is loyal purely out of fear. The true Bible believer is loyal to Jesus Christ purely out of love. 1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 19 We love him, because he first loved us. This concept is 100% alien to Islam-- There is no love in Islam-- Only fear and hate.

No God but Allah? Muslim Radicalism and the New Islamic Sects By Kenneth Boa Th.M.; Ph.D.; D.Phil. The major rival to Christianity among all the world’s religions is without a doubt Islam. The youngest of all the major world religions, Islam is the second largest, numbering roughly a billion people worldwide. The major mission fields proving most resistant to the gospel of Jesus Christ are almost all in Muslim-dominated areas, especially in North Africa, the Middle East (excluding Israel), and parts of Southeast Asia. In many of these nations Christianity represents less than one per cent of the population (e.g., Iran, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Yemen, Turkey, Somalia, and Morocco). Significant and growing Muslim populations can also be found in Western Europe and North America. In the United States alone, the number of Muslims is variously estimated at three to four million and growing rapidly through both immigration and conversion. In addition, various Islam-based sects (such as the Sikhs and the Baha’is) have relatively large constituencies in the United States, possibly adding another half million or more Americans to this general religious orientation. Despite the growing numbers of Muslims worldwide and in the West, and the increasing importance of Islam in world politics, many Christians in the West know little about Islam. We have reached a point where all Christians need to know about this major religious challenge to Christianity. Muhammad: Prophet of God? The figure of Muhammad (c. 570-632), the founder of Islam, towers head and shoulders above almost every other major figure in human history in the sheer impact he made in world history and civilization. Probably only Jesus Christ himself has had a greater impact overall. In 22 short years Muhammad changed Arabian culture from a largely polytheistic and fragmented society into a monotheistic, unified society driven by a clear sense of purpose and destiny. The Life of Muhammad Muhammad was born and raised in Mecca, a trade center in Arabia famed for its pagan shrine known as the Ka’ba. Arabs from all over the peninsula would make an annual pilgrimage (hajj) to the shrine to pray to one or more of the gods there and to kiss a black meteorite stone housed there. Judaism and, to a lesser extent, Christianity had made some inroads into the area, evidently leading some Arabs to honor one of the gods of the Ka’ba as Allah (literally, “the God”) and to identify the God of the shrine as the God of Abraham. Abraham, in fact, was believed to have built the Ka’ba. Into this religiously mixed environment Muhammad was born. Orphaned at a very early age, he was raised by his grandfather and then his uncle. Through his family’s caravan trading he was exposed to Judaism and likely to Christianity as well, but probably not to any churches or to the Bible itself. At about 25 years of age he married Khadijah, a older and wealthy widow. As midlife approached, Muhammad gave much of his time to solitary prayer. It was while he was praying on a night in about the year 610, in the month of Ramadan (a sacred month in Arab polytheistic culture), that Muhammad had his first vision, known as “the Night of Power and Excellence.” A heavenly being appeared in the sky and came down to within about two bow-shots of Muhammad. His first word is believed to have been “Recite!” (iqra’), a word related to the word Qur’an (which literally means “recitation”). At first Muhammad had severe doubts about the divine origin of the being. He worried that he might be possessed by an evil jinn (genie). Ironically, Khadijah’s cousin, who professed to be a Christian, endorsed the vision as from God, along with Khadijah. Encouraged by them to believe that God had called him to be his prophet, Muhammad eventually began receiving repeated visitations or inner experiences in which he felt himself prompted to “recite” the words of God (Allah). The being in his first vision was at first identified as Allah himself, but Muhammad’s more developed view of God as utterly transcendent led him to identify the being with the angel Gabriel. Muhammad’s message developed over time into a thoroughgoing monotheism with distinctively Arabic and Meccan elements. Allah was identified as “the Lord of this House” (Qur’an 106:3), that is, the God of the Ka’ba. Early in his Meccan ministry, Muhammad recited verses permitting devotion to the “daughters of Allah” (three goddesses enshrined in the Ka’ba along with Allah), but later recited new verses to replace the earlier ones, which were rejected as having been recited by Satan. The rejected verses hence became known as “the satanic verses” — a phrase made familiar in recent years as the title of Salmon Rushdie’s infamous book which was condemned by Muslims as a blasphemous portrayal of Muhammad.1 In any case, Muhammad eventually came to a consistently monotheistic doctrine of Allah as the one and only God. Muhammad gained some followers in Mecca, but he was generally not well received there. When the Meccans learned that a city to the north named Yathrib had invited Muhammad to bring his prophetic message there, his opponents in Mecca tried to kill him before he could leave. Muhammad’s flight to safety on June 16, 622, is known as the Hijrah (“emigration”), and is marked as the beginning of the Muslim calendar (with AD 622 termed 1 AH, or Anno Hegirae, “the year of the Hijrah” in Latin). It is the most sacred event in Islam. Yathrib welcomed Muhammad with open arms and renamed itself Madinat al-Rasul (“city of the Prophet”), now known more simply as Medina. At first Muhammad adopted a fairly “Judaized” religious system, hoping to win the support of a sizable Jewish population living in Medina. He instituted a Friday worship service and required prayers to be said facing Jerusalem. The Jews rejected Muhammad, though, and he had them expelled from the city and later led a massacre of a Jewish community. Muhammad then reinstated his earlier practice of having prayers said facing the Ka’ba in Mecca. He cemented his ties with the most influential Arab families in Medina by marrying some ten to fifteen wives. In 630 Muhammad led an army of 10,000 men from Medina and other supporters to Mecca and conquered the city. With the economic and religious center of Arabia under his control, Muhammad was able to sweep through most of the peninsula and unify it under his leadership within two years, dying suddenly in 632. The Claims of Muhammad Was Muhammad a true prophet of God? In Islamic thought, to denigrate Muhammad is the worst sin possible (as the fury over Rushdie’s The Satanic Verses illustrates). The early 20th-century Indian Muslim thinker Iqbal asserted, “You can deny God, but you cannot deny Muhammad!” While the Christian cannot let Muhammad’s claim to be an infallible and final prophet of God go unchallenged, it is not necessary to attack his character or sincerity. There are good reasons to deny that Muhammad was an inspired prophet, even granting that his doctrine of monotheism was a radical improvement over the polytheism of the culture in which he had lived. First of all, Muhammad really offered no good evidence for his claim to be a prophet. And since he claimed to be the last and the greatest prophet, the standard of evidence ought to be high. Certainly it should not be lower than for the prophets of the Bible, or for Jesus. Yet Muhammad offers no evidence or proof for his claims. He fulfilled no prophecies of the Bible, although Muslim apologists have tried to argue otherwise. For example, they point out that Moses said that a prophet like him would arise at a later time, but fail to deal with the fact that Moses, speaking to the Jewish people, said that the prophet would be one of their own countrymen (Deut. 18:15-18). Muhammad also did no miracles comparable to anything we can find in the Bible: he healed no one, raised no one from the dead, and provided no supernatural deliverance for his people (like Moses’ parting of the Red Sea or the manna from heaven). All we really have are Muhammad’s apparent mystical or spiritual experiences, his belief that they came from God, and the words he recited as revelations from God (later compiled as the Qur’an after his death). Second, Muhammad’s teachings flatly contradicted the teachings of the Old and New Testaments. We are not talking here about changes in ritual obligations, a loftier moral ethic, or deeper insight into the nature and purposes of God (changes which Christians typically find in the New Testament as compared to the Old). Muhammad rejected what is without a doubt the central historical and theological point of the New Testament — the death and resurrection of Jesus. According to Muhammad, Jesus did not die at all (he was taken bodily into Paradise), and the idea of a blood atonement for sin by Jesus’ death was firmly rejected as insulting to Allah. Thus, we cannot accept Muhammad’s claim to be a prophet of God unless we are willing to reject the prophetic, revelatory character of the Bible. But again, this does not mean that we should view Muhammad as an evil schemer or a deliberate deceiver. Muhammad was almost certainly a very sincere, very pious man who made a monumental contribution to civilization by his impassioned preaching of the truth that there is one all-powerful, all-merciful God who created the world. He evidently learned this truth from Judaism (with perhaps some Christian influence), which itself was rooted in God’s authentic revelation in the Old Testament. So, ultimately the heart of Muhammad’s message originated from divine revelation, even though as Christians we are convinced that the words which Muhammad spoke were not themselves revelations from God. The Qur’an: God’s Last Words to Man? Muslims would, of course, take strong exception to our claim that the Qur’an represents Muhammad’s fallible expression of his own understanding of the revelation of God which had been given to the Jews. They regard the Qur’an as the chief and greatest proof of Muhammad’s divine call, and as the final and superior revelation of God, displacing the Bible. As we mentioned earlier, the Qur’an was compiled after Muhammad’s death from his recitations which had been memorized or written down by his disciples on whatever was handy (usually bark or other objects, not paper). It is a collection of highly poetic pronouncements arranged in chapters or suras by order of length (basically longest to shortest). The arrangement is so haphazard from a thematic or historical perspective that the most popular English translation completely rearranges them.2 Ironically, the main evidence offered by Muslims for the inspiration of the Qur’an is its literary beauty. The Qur’an itself claims that no one could produce a writing with its magnificent style, which is attributed to its being literally dictated by God (2:23; 10:37-38; 17:88). Non-Arabic readers find this claim puzzling, but Muslims assure us that the literary quality of the Qur’an (and therefore its divine inspiration) can be appreciated only by reading it in Arabic. This is not exactly a claim that is designed to commend the Qur’an to people of all nations and languages! While non-Muslim scholars generally agree that the poetry in the Qur’an is generally excellent, there simply is no evidence here of divine origin. Literary beauty is, after all, to some extent a culturally conditioned and even subjective judgment. Lacking more objective evidences such as fulfilled prophecies or miracles, the Qur’an simple does not compare with the Bible. Again, this is not to detract from the powerful presentation of belief in one God and the high moral ideals and values often expressed in the Qur’an. The Qur’an is an Arabic masterpiece and one of the greatest, most influential books in the history of humanity. It is not, though, a divine revelation like the Bible, much less superior to the Bible. Islam and Jesus Islam acknowledges Jesus to have been a great prophet. Indeed, Islam honors Jesus as the greatest of all prophets other than Muhammad. However, Muslims flatly deny the two central claims of Jesus as understood by Christians. First, Muslims deny that Jesus is the Son of God or deity in any sense. The unqualified, simple monotheism of Muhammad left no room for God to have “partners,” as the Qur’an puts it. Of course, in Christianity Jesus is not a divine “partner” of God — he is God, in the person of the Son. But to Muhammad’s mind, raised in a polytheistic culture and with only a limited exposure to Judaism and even less to Christianity, the doctrine of the Trinity sounded like three Gods. Muhammad could not even accept the designation “Son of God” for Jesus, since he took this literally to mean that Jesus was procreated by God. Muhammad rightly rejected such an idea, unfortunately not realizing that this was not the Christian position. Second, Islam rejects the Christian belief that Jesus had died on the cross as an atonement for sins and rose from the dead. Having demoted Jesus to a merely human prophet, Muhammad could not very well retain the Christian concept of Jesus as a divine Savior from sin. Moreover, in Muhammad’s conception a prophet is a glorious, victorious figure; he reasoned that God would certainly never allow his prophet to suffer such an ignominious death. Muhammad concluded that Jesus never died at all, but had been taken up bodily into Paradise. The Romans probably crucified someone else by mistake, most likely Judas Iscariot (although Simon of Cyrene, whom the Gospels say carried Jesus’ cross, is sometimes suggested). The claim that Jesus did not die on the cross is arguably the weakest link in the Muslim religious system. As a matter of simple historical fact the execution of Jesus by the Romans is on the firmest ground possible. The Jewish leaders had seen Jesus in the Temple and around Jerusalem for several days prior to his death, and they would certainly have known (and objected) if the Romans were crucifying the wrong man. We have at least two independent accounts informing us that various friends and family members of Jesus (including his mother) witnessed his death and buried his body (Luke 23:49-56; John 19:25-27, 38-42). Small wonder that all non-Muslim historians, whether Jewish, Christian, or skeptic, agree that Jesus was crucified. Another difficulty facing the Muslim view ought to be mentioned. On their view Jesus never died at all and was taken up bodily into Paradise. While Jesus’ enemies might be confused as to what happened, it is hard to imagine why his disciples would remain confused. Surely Jesus explained it to them before he ascended! How, then, did the idea originate among Jesus’ followers (that is, in the church) that Jesus had died? No follower of Jesus would have made up such an idea, for the very reason Muhammad seven centuries later could not accept it — because death by crucifixion was universally regarded as the most shameful death possible.3 While rejecting the deity of Jesus and his death and resurrection, Muslims do have high regard for Jesus. Whatever traditional Christian beliefs about Jesus that did not contradict or undermine Muhammad’s strict Unitarian monotheism were accepted by him and are acknowledged by Islam to this day. So, Muslims have no trouble agreeing that Jesus was born of a virgin, that he performed miracles, that he ascended into heaven, and even that he will return to the earth at some future time. What they cannot allow is that any of these ideas be interpreted in a way that would imply Jesus’ deity or undermine Muhammad’s claim to be a prophet of God. Not surprisingly, Islam regards Muhammad as the last of the prophets. As such, it is natural that Islam should claim that Muhammad’s teaching supersedes that of Jesus and of Christianity. Muslims have traditionally argued that Jesus was a Jewish prophet sent to his people, whereas Muhammad was a prophet for the whole world. This claim obviously depends on the claim, already discussed, that Jesus was a mere prophet and not the divine Savior from sin. But there are other problems with the Muslim claim that Muhammad was a more universal prophet than Jesus. Although Jesus was a Jew, he commissioned his disciples to take the gospel to all nations (Matt. 28:19-20), which they did. Already by Muhammad’s time Christianity was predominantly Gentile, and Christians could be found throughout Europe, Western Asia, and North Africa — essentially the whole known world. Today Jesus is acknowledged by a larger number and a greater diversity of ethnic and cultural peoples than any other religious leader in history. Nearly every major world religion (including Islam) finds it necessary to assign some place of honor to Jesus. Muslims regard Jesus as a prophet, Hindus regard him as a holy teacher or even an avatar (human manifestation of the Divine), and Buddhists regard him as an enlightened one or “Buddha” for the West. The people of the world religions do not, on the other hand, find it necessary to come to terms with Muhammad. Our point here is not that the greater attraction of Jesus among people of all religions proves that Jesus was the Son of God and the Savior. It is, rather, that the evidence does not support the Muslim claim that Jesus was a lesser prophet with only local appeal as compared to Muhammad. If anything, the evidence shows that Jesus is the one person in human history who has the potential to transcend all cultural boundaries and unite people of every tribe and language and nation (Rev. 5:9). Islam and World Powers On the basis of its claim that Muhammad was the final and greatest prophet of God, Islam has sought to bring all people into “submission” to the will of Allah. The word Islam means “submission,” and a Muslim is “one who submits.” Although Islam has had its philosophers and apologists who have sought to persuade people to convert to the Muslim faith, in general Islam has from its very beginning under Muhammad himself made its major advances around the world through military force. By contrast, while Christianity has on occasion also been imposed by force, its initial cultural success in Europe came by the blood of Christian martyrs, and the most important means of spreading Christianity during the past four centuries has been the work of missionaries who have also in many cases died as martyrs to further the gospel. The Rise and Fall of the Muslim Empires During the decades immediately following the death of Muhammad, the Muslims consolidated their hold on Arabia and gained control of Palestine and parts of North Africa and the Mesopotamian region. About the year 700 the Dome of the Rock was built in Jerusalem at the site where Muhammad was believed to have had a vision of (or journey to) heaven. By 711 the Muslim empire covered all of North Africa and had conquered Spain (where the Muslims became known as the Moors). By the year 1000 Muslim power covered essentially the entire Middle East and was rising in India and Southeast Asia. At this point Christian Europe felt it had to answer the political and military threat of the Islamic empire. It concentrated its efforts on taking control of Jerusalem and on driving the Moors from Spain. Jerusalem changed hands a couple of times and ended up in control of the Muslims, where it remained (under different ethnic powers) from the thirteenth to the twentieth century. The Europeans were more successful in Spain, eventually expelling the Moors in 1492 (the same year as Columbus’s first expedition). It was the British empire which would eventually contain the expansion of the Islamic powers worldwide. In 1600 the British established the East India Company, establishing economic interests in a part of the world which was increasingly under Muslim control. By the time of the American Revolution the Muslim Ottoman Empire was breaking up gradually, due in large part to British (and French) colonialism in India, Africa, and Southeast Asia. In 1858 India became part of the British empire, and between 1880 and 1918 the British gained control of both Egypt and Palestine. The Ottoman Empire disappeared completely after World War I, and during the 1920s several independent states emerged, typically with the British or French lending support. These included Turkey, established as a secular state, and several Arab monarchies with only partially Islamic systems of law (e.g., Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iraq, Syria). The British intent in taking control of Palestine all along was to open the way for Jews to establish a homeland there, an intention formally declared in the Balfour Declaration (1917). Already in 1881 Jewish immigrants had begun building new settlements in Palestine, still largely Arab Muslim in population. The Jewish population grew in Palestine after World War I and increased dramatically during the Nazi regime in the 1930s and throughout World War II, as Jews sought to escape the Holocaust. After the war ended, in 1947 the United Nations partitioned Palestine into Jewish and Arab states, giving Jews 52 percent of the land, and in 1948 the nation of Israel began its modern existence. The Arab Palestinians rejected this plan and in 1948 Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, and Iraq launched war against Israel. In less than a year Israel had won the war and enlarged its borders to encompass some 77 percent of the former Palestine. Meanwhile, in India the British-educated Mohandas K. (“Mahatma”) Gandhi led a nonviolent resistance movement to pressure the British for Indian independence. Although the British did grant India its independence, Gandhi’s hope that Indian Muslims and Hindus would live together in peace was not realized. The Muslim-dominated areas in the east and west wings of the Indian subcontinent became an independent Pakistan4 in 1947, and Ghandi was himself assassinated in 1948. Muslim Radicalism and the Middle East The main flashpoints in the world involving Muslim powers in the last half of the twentieth century have been in the Middle East. In the Six-Day War (1967) Israel took control of all of Jerusalem, the West Bank, and the Golan Heights, refusing to comply with a United Nations resolution calling for its withdrawal from these “Occupied Territories.” Modern Arab-Israeli peace negotiations throughout the rest of the century focused on these disputed areas and the disposition of cities, especially Jerusalem, considered holy by both sides. The negotiations were complicated by Arab Palestinian terrorism (orchestrated in the 1970s and 1980s especially by the Palestinian Liberation Organization, or PLO, headed by Yassir Arafat) and by Israeli attacks against Lebanon where PLO forces were based. Even the historic peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians in 1994 did not resolve these issues or bring the violence to an end. The militant Palestinian resistance against Israel is a small but crucial part of the larger movement known as Muslim “fundamentalism”5 but perhaps better termed Muslim radicalism. This movement represents a backlash against the Westernization and secularization of Muslim countries. In 1978-79 the Ayatollah Khomeini led a revolt in Iran in which he deposed the Shah (who had been supported by the West), instituted a state governed by Islamic law, and held American hostages for over a year. In 1981 members of a radical Muslim group named Jihad (the Arabic word meaning “struggle” and often translated “holy war”) assassinated Anwar Sadat, whose visit to Jerusalem in 1977 had opened peace negotiations between Egypt and Israel. Similar groups emerged during the 1980s among the Palestinians, notably Hizbullah and Hamas, as the PLO became less radical. Meanwhile, throughout the 1980s the neighboring nations Iran and Iraq fought a long and bloody war. The West was inclined during this period to look more favorably on Iraq because of its secular government (ruled by dictator Saddam Hussein), which seemed more open to the West than Iran’s militant Islamic government. This perception was undone when Iraq invaded Kuwait, leading to the Gulf War (1990-91) in which a U.S.-led coalition of nations — including some of the Muslim nations of the Middle East — drove the Iraqi army out of Kuwait. Muslim Sects Islam is known in the West, and especially in the United States, as much or more through certain Islamic sects than through the traditional forms of Islam. We will briefly consider four of them here — the Sufis, the Sikhs, the Baha’is, and the Nation of Islam. The Sufis were a medieval movement within Islam which reacted against the formalism and materialism of the growing Muslim empires. Sufis sought to develop a simple lifestyle and to cultivate a deep spiritual experience of Allah, generally following a mystical path in order to find such an experience. The interest in mysticism in the West in the twentieth century led to rapid growth of Sufism in Europe and the United States. The Sikhs were founded around 1500 by Nanak, a Hindu in Punjab during the Muslim rule there of the Moguls. Nanak, who is regarded as the first of ten founding gurus, sought to integrate the form of Hinduism which expressed devotion to a personal deity (known as bhakti) with the mystical Sufi tradition in Islam. In Sikh belief God is the immortal Creator who has many names, including Allah, Rama (a Hindu divine name), and Sahib (“sir,” “master”). The Sikhs are well known for their martial philosophy and garb (notably the turban and the dagger), a tradition which stems from their persecution in Punjab by Muslim authorities in the 1600s. Outside their original home the largest populations of the Sikhs are to be found in the United Kingdom, which has close to half a million Sikhs, and the United States, which has over a quarter of a million Sikhs. The Baha’i World Faith was founded by Baha’u’llah, a Muslim in Persia (modern-day Iran) in the nineteenth century. He took the name Baha’u’llah (“the glory of Allah”) because he claimed to be the last in a series of prophets, each of whom had provided a new and more complete manifestation of God to the world. Baha’i teaches that Jesus was the sixth of these prophets, Muhammad was the seventh, a Persian prophet called the Bab (whom Baha’u’llah had followed) was the eighth, and Baha’u’llah himself was the ninth, last, and greatest of these prophets. As might be expected, the Baha’is were persecuted by the Muslim authorities in Persia, and Baha’u’llah died in a Turkish prison in Palestine in 1892. His son, ’Abdu’l-Baha’, brought the Baha’i religion to America, where it has flourished and grown throughout the twentieth century. The Nation of Islam is undoubtedly the most culturally significant sect of Islam in the United States. Popularly known in earlier years as Black Muslims, the Nation of Islam is an African-American cult that reinterprets Islam as a religion for the oppressed Blacks. The original vision of its founder, Wali Fard Muhammad, was of a separate and autonomous Black nation within the United States. African Americans were urged to renounce their U.S. citizenship and to reject their last names (which were their “slave names”), using only “X” in their place. The most famous member of the Nation of Islam, Malcolm X, was killed in 1965 by angry Nation members after Malcolm had disavowed the group in favor of pursuing a more traditional Muslim path. The Nation of Islam6 has been led since the late 1970s by Louis Farrakhan, who emerged as the most controversial African-American leader in the 1990s. Under Farrakhan, the Nation of Islam seeks economic independence from the white establishment (“Buy Black”) rather than political independence from the United States. He has provoked outrage over the years for his rhetoric of hate, especially against the Jews. Still, for many African-Americans Farrakhan’s message, especially his emphasis on self-reliance, personal responsibility, and the importance of restoring young Black men in America to their place in the home, strikes some important and valid themes. Christians and the Challenge of Islam No religion poses a more formidable challenge to Christianity as we enter the third millennium than Islam. It is the dominant religion in many parts of the Third World, and its appeal as the religion of the oppressed, the religion for those who resent their treatment at the hands of the white European and American establishments, has considerable force. Islamic civilization boasts numerous and impressive accomplishments in architecture, mathematics, philosophy, and law, just to name a few of the areas in which Islamic culture has shined. Now Islam, in both traditional and sectarian forms, is growing in Europe and America, as well as throughout the world. How should Christians respond to this challenge? First of all, it is important for Christians to acknowledge that there is much in Islam that is good. Certainly the monotheistic religion of Islam is far superior to the paganism that gripped Arabia and much of the surrounding lands before Muhammad. The cultural contributions of Islamic civilization to the rest of the world should be appreciated and commended. On the other hand, it does no good to perpetuate stereotypes of Arab or other Muslim peoples. Many Muslims are sincere, kind people, who simply care about their families and the future of their people. Second, we ought to recognize that much of the conflict between the West and the Islamic nations of the Middle East and North Africa is the result, at least in part, of Western policies and practices. This is not to place all or even most of the blame on the West, but it is to say that the West has contributed to the problem. To cite just one example, the treatment of Jews in Europe throughout the modern era, but especially in the twentieth century, in large measure led to the creation of a Jewish state right in the middle of a region long dominated by Muslim peoples. The whole matter of Israel and its relations with the Palestinians and the surrounding Muslim nations is exceedingly complex, but the point here is that the West cannot deny all culpability for the problem. Third, Christians need to support efforts to bring peace between Muslims and Jews in the Middle East and to foster understanding and acceptance between themselves and Muslims. Christian efforts to evangelize Muslims have so far had only marginal success, and this might not change unless and until the climate of mutual suspicion between people of these two largest world religions changes. Finally, Christians need to continue efforts to evangelize Muslims with the good news of Jesus Christ. We can and should work toward mutual understanding and acceptance while at the same time taking every opportunity to present the gospel to Muslims. This will require gaining a fair and accurate understanding of Islam as well as an ability to explain and defend the Christian truth claims over against the errors of Islam. Is there a God? Was the universe created by a Divine Creator, or did it just happen? If the universe just happened, then what started the process? The laws of thermodynamics have PROVEN that neither energy nor matter can be destroyed. You can convert one form into another, but you cannot create nor destroy either. Based upon this scientific FACT, it is perplexing to try to understand the origin of the universe. How could something come from nothing? Even more complex and disturbing is the thought that time could have NO BEGINNING. Everything that mankind has ever learned, tested, proved, designed or theorized CANNOT explain this great mystery. How could time have ever begun? What would have existed before time? Even if you could trace the universe back trillions of years (which you cannot), you would still be faced with an unsolvable mystery... what existed before time? If time is traveling backwards and forwards, then at what point did it begin? There is no sensible mortal answer for these questions. The only answer that makes perfect sense is God. Another baffling thought is the size of the universe... how big is it? Can the universe have an end? If so, then what exists beyond the universe?... more universe? Trying to understand such a mystery is a perplexing and mind-numbing exercise in futility. It would be IMPOSSIBLE for the universe to have a boundary, a limit. What would exist beyond that limit? Even empty space is something, it occupies SPACE. So where does the space end? At what point is there nothing, and what exactly is nothing if it takes up space? There is NO humanly plausible answer. Though multitudes of godless “experts” and “professors” have arrogantly tried to explain such mysteries by teaching babble and false science, the net sum of all their answers is utter foolishness. The ONLY logical answer is a Divine Creator. The Supernatural Word of God Not only does simple logic testify to the existence of God, but so also does the Holy Bible. The Bible is self-proclaimed as God's Word (2nd Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 4:12). Whether a person wants to acknowledge the Bible as “God's Word” is an entirely different matter, but the Bible does claim to be God's Authoritative Word. One might reason that there are several “other” such books in the world that also CLAIM to be inspired by a divine being. So what makes the Bible so special? . . . For one, it's CONTENT. No other book in this world addresses mankind's wicked sinfulness and need for divine redemption. Only the Holy Bible completely explains man's origin, purpose and destiny. The miraculous way in which the Holy Bible has been given to mankind. Literally thousands of manuscripts have been unearthed by archaeologists throughout Middle East (over 5,000 of the New Testament alone). If men authored the Bible, then it would have been impossible to bury the many different passages of the Bible, over varying centuries, in different languages and penned by forty different men. God is the divine Author of the Holy Bible. Obtaining forgiveness from God. Also, only the Bible tells us how to obtain forgiveness, salvation and peace with God (Romans 5:1; Romans 10:9-13). God's love for man. No other book in this world speaks of God's unconditional love for mankind (John 3:16). Eternal punishment for man's wickedness. No other book warns of God's fierce judgment and eternal punishment upon the ungodly (Revelation 20:11-15). Fulfilled prophecy. No other book in the world contains as much accurate prophecy (and fulfilled prophecy) as does the Bible (there is NO prophecy in the Quran). The King James Bible contains 29% prophecy. Theological harmony of the total of Scripture. No other book in the world can boast of such harmony of agreement, between over forty known writers (God being the Divine Author), spanning 1,500 years of time; and yet arranged in one perfectly interwoven volume. The Bible gives us a detailed explanation of the creation of the universe, and teaches that the universe was created by the Word of God... Hebrews 11:3, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” There is your answer friend, God created the universe out of NOTHING! God did the impossible as ONLY God can do. What other book in this world claims that God created the worlds out of nothing? Could such a book be mere coincidence when it so perfectly answers all of the perplexing questions I presented to you earlier? The Bible is undoubtedly the Word of God that it claims to be. No other book even compares. Jesus Christ is the Creator, God Almighty... Colossians 1:13-17, “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.” We read in Hebrews 11:3 above that “Through FAITH we understand...” It is ONLY through faith in the Word of God that anyone will ever understand the truth about creation. The atheists and evolutionists do NOT have faith in God or the Bible; rather, they have placed their faith in unproven theories, speculation, and false science. The great error of their thinking is the failure to concede that THERE IS NO LOGICAL ANSWER OTHER THAN A DIVINE CREATOR. Evolution cannot be proved because it is a dirty lie of the Devil. Evolution is false. Evolution is stupid. Evolution is baseless speculation. The ONLY plausible answer is God. The Bible confirms what our common sense should teach us about the origin of the universe. Creation couldn't have happened without a divine Creator. The proof is irrefutable that God exists! Science is one of them. Astronomy is nothing less than astonishing and a testimony to God's greatness and omnipotent power. Just as spectacular is the tiny world under the scrutiny of a microscope, manifesting the incredible knowledge, care and frightening power of our Creator. DNA is further evidence of God's divine handiwork. Even in pagan areas of the world, primitive tribal peoples have historically sacrificed their children to alligators in rivers, burned them alive on the alter of Moloch, or some other cruel form of satanism. The human heart knows that sin must be paid for with blood and death. Thankfully, Christ offered Himself on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. Jesus is the Lamb of God offered up for all men. Hence, eternal life is a free gift to all, paid for by the sacrifice of Christ. Evolution is Blatant Fraud Evolution could not do what scientists foolishly claim it does. Romans 5:6, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.” The crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ was a horrible sight. He had been tortured, mocked and spat upon through the night and hours proceeding His grueling journey to Calvary. The nails were driven through His hands and feet. His opened, bloody flesh of His whipped back was placed against a wooden cross, where the people mocked Him and told Him to come down if He were really the Son of God. All of this was done for you and me dear reader. The cross is not an example of victimization, it is a demonstration of a love that nobody on this earth can comprehend. The cross is not an example of powerlessness, it is the love offering of the strongest, most powerful, most courageous human being that ever walked the face of the earth. The cross is not an example of a martyr dying for a cause, it is God come in the flesh, becoming a bloody sacrifice for His creatures. But the story did not end there... After the Lord Jesus Christ died, He was wrapped in linen and laid in a grave. Three days later, He miraculously rose from the dead just like He said He would (Mark 14:58). Everybody knew that Jesus had said He would rise the third day. They even had soldiers to guard the tomb to make sure His body wouldn't leave it. In their insanity, they did not understand that no man can stop God. Before Jesus went back up to Heaven where He came from, He was seen by over 500 believers at once (1st Corinthians 15:6). Jesus now sits on the right hand of the throne of God where He ever liveth to make intercession for His children (Colossians 3:1; Romans 8:34). Jesus came to this earth to die on the cross for every human being. Jesus performed miracles so that people would know that He is indeed the Savior, the only begotten Son of God, but He came to die. The reason that He died is for our sins. The Bible says that every person in this whole world has sinned (Romans 3:23). Examples of sin include stealing, adultery, murder, dishonoring one's parents, taking God's name in vain, et cetera. The Bible says that God NEVER sins and that sinners cannot enter into God's Kingdom (1st Corinthians 6:9-11). But God loves us so much that He sent His only begotten Son—Jesus—Who died for our sins on a cross—that's the crucifixion. Christ suffered in our place. When Jesus was on the cross, He shed His blood to pay for our sins (1st Peter 1:18-19). But Christ did not remain dead. On the third day, He resurrected from the dead and was seen by over 500 people before He went back to Heaven where He came from—that's the resurrection. Dear friend, this is the Gospel (the GOOD NEWS) by which anyone who believes is immediately, irrevocably and permanently saved. Jesus DIED, was BURIED and RESURRECTED the third day. That is “the Gospel” according to 1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” The Gospel is NOT turning away from your sins to be saved. That is a counterfeit gospel if you hear anyone teaching that. The Gospel is NOT getting water baptized to be saved. If you hear someone teaching that, you know they are lying. The Apostle Paul plainly defines the Gospel in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 as three things: Christ DIED on the cross for our sins, He was BURIED, and after three days Jesus physically RESURRECTED from the dead for our justification. Any guilty sinner who believes the Good News is saved. Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” The Gospel is NOT a call to improve your behavior, surrender all to Christ, turn over a new leaf, commit to do better in the future, turn away from your sins, attend a church, become religious, get water baptized, or anything else! Adding ANY of these extra things to your faith means you won't go to Heaven. The only way to be saved with certainty is to simply place your complete confidence in the Good News of Christ crucified, buried and risen for your sins. I am going to Heaven when I die because of what JESUS DID, and not in the least way because of what I DO. The true Gospel always points you to Christ; a false gospel always points to you. Jesus came into the world to seek and to save sinners! Luke 19:10, “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” The only way Jesus could save us sinners was to DIE ON THE CROSS to pay our debt of sin. Romans 5:6-9, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.” Amen! What a great God and Savior! Simply BELIEVE what God has written in His inspired Word dear friend and you are saved.

This evil has come upon us because of our wickedness in the United States. God has given us over to wicked leaders to afflict us, and bring us into bondage. Our Nation is Being Subverted But the problem goes much deeper than the present illegal immigrant crisis. Few Americans realize, or care to realize, that our nation is deliberately being subverted from Washington D.C. Literally, America's CITIZENS (not illegals), are being stabbed in the back and sold into slavery by their own leaders. The godless "Federal Reserve" system is nothing more than a term which Americans are familiar with hearing; BUT, have no idea of the diabolic conspiracy behind it's creation to utterly BANKRUPT the United States. As of March 2006, we were $9,000,000,000,000 in federal debt!!! We are beyond the point of no return! America is headed for financial destabilization and destruction! The borders have been deliberately left open for many years, to undermine America's workforce and sovereignty. Multitudes of the largest American companies have gone overseas, or down to Mexico, to exploit cheap labor. As a result, American citizens no longer can find a decent paying job. Unemployment statistics are bogus, not counting people who have already been laid off for 6 months or longer. What a joke! The government is lying to and deceiving America's CITIZENS. Our Public school system is a massive nationwide failure! America's children are deliberately being dumbed down. Morally, every form of vile filth is being promoted on TV, from Disney's Desperate Housewives, to the abominable Jerry Springer Show. It is no secret that the entire rock music industry has it's roots in Satanism. America is the world's leading producer of pornography and smut. In so many ways, the traditional family is under attack. Bigger prisons are being built. Churches are being burned to the ground. Christians are being arrested for speaking the truth. Gays and lesbians are appearing everywhere. How much of this wickedness will God tolerate? America's streets have been flooded with illegal drugs, compliments of the CIA (cocaine import agency). Leaders in congress, such as Maxine Waters and Cynthia McKinney, have exposed these great evils within our own government. Former police officer, Mike Ruppert, has much to say concerning the government's deliberate drug trafficking in the U.S. Our own government has betrayed us! Wake up America! Our nation is being destroyed from within! No doubt, the greatest blame for the subversion of America rests upon it's ignorant, complacent, and apathetic citizens. Do you realize that 5% of the U.S. workforce is now illegal immigrants? It is tragic! 58% of All Mexicans Say U.S. Southwest Belongs to Mexico Even worse, many Mexican immigrants are claiming that the U.S. was theirs to begin with, and we stole it from them... A healthy majority of Mexicans claim that their country rightfully owns much of the southwestern United States, while most Americans believe Washington should adopt stricter immigration standards and deploy U.S. troops along the border, a new poll says. According to a just-published survey conducted by Zogby International, the polling firm found that a majority of Mexicans say the U.S. southwest "rightfully belongs to Mexico," and that Mexican citizens should be able to come into those areas freely, without U.S. permission. The poll found that 58 percent of Mexicans agree with the statement, "The territory of the United States' southwest rightfully belongs to Mexico." -SOURCE Where will this all end? The result is inevitable ... the United States will increasingly deteriorate to a third world nation in a matter of decades. With hospitals disappearing, health care costs skyrocketing, companies offering fewer benefits to employees, personal bankruptcies soaring in 2005, and illegal immigrants bleeding the economy to death--the future of America can only be bleak! The average American doesn't care because it hasn't affected them YET. The reason why is because the Federal DEBT is absorbing all the costs! But WE taxpaying CITIZENS have to pay all that money back!!! The Federal Reserve (private bankers) are lending hundreds-of-billions at a time to our reckless and irresponsible politicians, who shouldn't be borrowing anything. There is coming a day when the U.S. government will have no choice but to default on their loans from other nations. The day will come when the Federal Reserve (private bankers) decide not to loan the U.S. government any more money. At this time, control of the U.S. will be confiscated by the CFR and the United Nations. Just as the fool who thinks he's rich because he has a credit card, American's are idiots to think that our government can recklessly and wildly spend money like there's no tomorrow, without there being severe repercussions and consequences in the future for our children. The southwestern states do NOT belong to Mexico! I am not against legal immigrants; but, illegals should go back to where they came from. To say otherwise is to spit on America's citizens, which is exactly what many illegal immigrants do. If it's illegal, it's ILLEGAL! To allow illegal aliens to remain in the U.S. sends the wrong message to future wannabe illegal immigrants. The message is clear ... "The government in Washington is betraying the American people by leaving the borders wide open, so bring the whole family." Kids Forbidden from Being Patriotic! Who would have thought that a day would come in America when school children would be forbidden from being patriotic! Because of the anger of Mexicans in America over the border issue, many school administrators are forbidding America's young people from wearing anything patriotic. This is unbelievable!!! This is America, and America's kids are being told NOT to wear American flags on their sleeves, or T-shirts promoting America. How wicked and evil this has all become. Who would have thought that there would come such a day as this? I mean, this is OUR nation and we can't even celebrate it anymore. Don't you see what's happening? We are losing our country to elite internationalists who could care less about American sovereignty. They are exploiting America's government, laws, military, resources, and economy for their own selfish agendas. Our top politicians are puppets. And don't kid yourself, the national deficit isn't going any direction except higher. In the end, it will be the irreparable destruction of our countries' sovereignty. Think about it ... American children being threatened with discipline if they wear anything patriotic to school. If this doesn't make you mad, then you should leave the United States and live elsewhere. I mean, it's like a stranger off the street coming into your home, that you own, and telling you not to hang an American flag outside. It's bad enough that America has been flooded with illegal immigrants, now we can't even be patriotic for fear of them. Since they're here ILLEGALLY, they should all be sent back, even if it takes a couple years to bus them all back. Furthermore, why is our government even considering giving them amnesty? Criminals should not be allowed to break the law. Ecclesiastes 8:11 states, "Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil." By not enforcing the law, we are encouraging people to continue to break the law ... and they are! This is not about racial discrimination, it is about protecting our nation. It's about enforcing the laws of the land. Suspect Washington politicians should be arrested and put on trial for failing to enforce the law. I get sick every time I hear George W. Bush talk about protecting America against the threat of Iraq (10,000 miles away), while our borders remain wide open. What a scam! Iraq never was a threat. As usual, we've been lied to. It's time for the American people to unite together against the evils in this nation, and work for change. Thank God for leaders like Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, Congressman Ron Paul, and others, who are fighting for the American people. Information is crucial, and we need to educate as many people as possible to what's going on, so they can stand against it too. Companies Who Hire Illegals Should be Prosecuted! But let's not just blame the government. Who's hiring these illegal immigrants as slave labor, paying them under the table? American companies! The government actually encourages the hiring of illegal immigrants by not prosecuting companies for doing so. Every business who knowingly hires an illegal immigrant should automatically by shut down. The company owner and management should be held in violation of the law! Fines should be severe. It's becoming so bad in America, that large companies are knowingly hiring illegal aliens by the hundreds, knowing full well that the workers have fake documentation. Why do companies hire illegals? To save money, of course. But there's more. Illegals are easily manipulated. If an illegal causes trouble, or a female doesn't succumb to the sexual advances of an immoral boss, they are threatened with exposure. It is a great evil upon America. These workers DON'T pay a dime in taxes; BUT, they collect welfare, put their kids in our schools, receive food stamps, receive free medical, etc. It is so wrong and un-American! The first thing many police officers ask, when approached by a suspect illegal immigrant, is for their Social Security Number. Of course, the illegal immigrant shuts-up and leaves quickly. These illegal foreigners are living on America's streets, posing a major threat to society. I heard a recent news report that 42 illegal immigrants were found living in one apartment! Is it any wonder that, In Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding homicide warrants and 60 percent of outstanding felony warrants are for illegal aliens? -SOURCE. So the blame also rests upon unethical greedy companies who are eagerly willing to break the law to boost profits and reduce worker complaints. Ultimately, the blame rests upon the American people for not speaking out louder against this great evil. It's America's church congregations who should be speaking out the loudest; BUT, they are completely silent. If they won't cry out against the murderous evils of abortion, then why should they care about anything else? Indifference is destroying America! Conclusion In conclusion, I'm not against LEGAL immigration, and I welcome foreigners; BUT, when they disregard our laws and ILLEGALLY enter OUR country, they are criminals and should be dealt with as such. I realize that there are all types of sob stories and reasons WHY Latin Americans are defending their own people; however, such attempts to undermine our laws are EVIL! It will be the same when lost sinners stand before God on judgment day. I can here them now, demanding a lawyer. God will cast them into Hell, and there will be absolutely nothing anyone can do about it. There will be justice, unlike America today. I here these Benedict Arnolds on the news trying to defend ILLEGAL immigration by claiming that America is the land of opportunity. Yes, but not for criminals!!! When American sympathy is shown for illegal immigrants, while 84 hospitals in California have already been FORCED to close because of illegal immigrants, something is VERY WRONG with the U.S. government. Satan will rob you of everything you hold near and dear in this life. Sin thrills and then it kills. Sin fascinates and then it assassinates.
