The inspired Word of God teaches that Satan is the god of this world, and his primary function is to blind humanity from the truth of the Gospel, “lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” The Devil is a monster, who wants as many people as possible to spend eternity burning with him in Hell. John 10:10, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Satan is a nefarious being, that is, extremely wicked.

The Scriptures call Satan our “adversary,” our enemy. 1st Peter 5:7-8, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” The Devil walketh about, seeking victims, so he can devour our life and happiness. Satan will rob you of everything you hold near and dear in this life. Sin thrills and then it kills. Sin fascinates and then it assassinates. Thomas Guthrie said, “Never fear to suffer; but, oh, fear to sin! If you must choose between them, prefer the greatest suffering to the smallest sin.” I bought a helpful little book years ago by Dr. Curtis Hutson titled, Punch Lines, which is filled with hundreds of helpful quotes for preachers to use in their sermons. Here's some quotes from the book about the Devil...

The Holy Bible teaches that the Devil is presently DECEIVING the whole world. Satan is deceiving people in many ways. We read in Daniel 8:25 that the Antichrist “BY PEACE SHALL DESTROY MANY.” Satan is peacefully setting up his demonic New World Order, the 7th king (world power) of Revelation 17:10. The 8th king will be the Antichrist, who rises up from the 7th. What brute force communism failed to accomplish during World War I and World War II, Luciferians are accomplishing today peacefully through deceptive world trade agreements, the ungodly United Nations, oppressive World Banks, et cetera. The world is being deceived in many ways...

Revelation 12:9, “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

Revelation 13:14, “And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth.”

Revelation 20:10, “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”

Revelation 19:20, “And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast.”

THE DEVIL IS A BEAUTIFUL LIAR!!! These are but a few Scriptures teaching that the Devil DECEIVES mankind. I could write a book of the various ways in which the masses are being DECEIVED today worldwide.

Americans in particular have been woefully deceived in so many ways. The bogus lies of Evolution are a massive fraud. God pity all the brainwashed children riding on the public fool bus each day! The Federal Reserve Banking system is a massive fraud, intended to rob hardworking Americans of their wealth. Since the year 1913, when the Federal Reserve Act was passed under shady circumstances (over a quiet Christmas weekend while most members of congress were absent), the American people have been victimized by the ungodly, thieving, international banking cartel. The world has been DECEIVED by Luciferians concerning the truth behind World Wars I and II (and now we're being led into World War III). The masses were deceitfully led into ALL major wars, which over the past two centuries have claimed the lives of over 200,000,000 people. Power can become a dangerous thing!!! Although the higher powers are ordained by God (Romans 13:1-10), Satan exploits these “higher” powers for his own agendas. The Bible refers to such exploitation as “spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12b). Satan uses all power that is “delivered” unto him by God, to DECEIVE the world, to BLIND the masses from the truth of the Gospel. Luke 4:6, “And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.” Satan gives “power” to those whom He chooses to give it, but ultimately ALL power comes only from God.
