Interviews with Scott English are very rare, and so Paul considered it a great pleasure to speak with this great artist. Scott was born in the USA, but made his home in England. David Krakauer Interview on The Paul Leslie Hour
The David Krakauer Interview is featured on The Paul Leslie Hour.
It’s The Paul Leslie Hour! This episode features an interview with clarinetist and recording artist David Krakauer.
It is not often an album is so instantly alluring as David Krakauer’s “THE BIG PICTURE.” David Krakaeur is a clarinetist extraordinaire and “The Big Picture” ishisrenditions of 12 songs from major movies throughout the years…and what a collection it is!At the forefront is the clarinet, but what makes this record so great is how innovative Krakauer is at interpreting the songs.
Perhaps the most represented are songs from Woody Allen films: “Si Tu Vois Ma Mère”composed by Sidney Bechet which appeared in Midnight in Paris among others. Variety is key here. There’s Krakauer’s cover of “People,” made famous by Barbra Streisand in Funny Girl, flawlessly followed by the Sheldon Harnick & Jerry Bock song “Tradition” from Fiddler on the Roof.
All it took was listening to “THE BIG PICTURE” once and Paul knew Krakauer was an artist he had to speak to. We hope you enjoy their heart-to-heart interview.

Greezy Joe and Magua of The Cheap and Easy Band Interview on The Paul Leslie Hour
The Greezy Joe and Magua of Greezy Joe and the Cheap and Easy Band Interview on The Paul Leslie Hour.
Back when Paul’s show was airing on Radio Margaritaville, there was one song that created a frenzy every time it was played. People would get in touch and ask, “What was that cool song I heard?”
The song was “Rum,” by Greezy Joe. It created a sensation, and there was never a tune Paul played that would inevitably create a buzz every single time. Same goes for everyone who encountered the song. Henry, the engineer thought it was great! When Paul and Jeff were in the studio producing the radio show, there was mutual affection for the song. As they say, “Shoulda been a hit.” Well, you just never know.
When Paul got ahold of the Greezy Joe & The Cheap and Easy Band’s album “Sail On,” he felt fortunate. Why? He knew he had stumbled upon greatness. He met Greezy Joe and his cohorts on the street of Savannah one St. Patrick’s Day.
In no time, Greezy Joe and one of the Cheap and Easy band members, Magua were in the studio to tell a bit of their story.

0:03 / 5:26 Woke, Inc.: Inside Corporate America’s Social Justice Scam — The Book Review
A Book Review by: Paul Leslie
I don’t know about you, but the insistence of many companies to insert themself in the latest supposed social justice cause is more prone to provoke annoyance than inspiration. I’m not alone in wishing companies strived for excellence in the service or product they offer instead of lip service, hypocrisy, and insincere virtue signaling. What if they saved the self-righteous lecture and just focused on excellence?
You may have noticed the preoccupation of companies in “woke” causes. I’ve observed a vast increase over the last few years in chains broadcasting the latest social justice slogans on window stickers, receipts, on their websites, and in advertisements.
Is “wokeness” in corporate America rooted in altruism?
My curiosity about why this phenomenon grows was part of what inspired me to read Woke, Inc.: Inside Corporate America’s Social Justice Scam by Vivek Ramaswamy.
