9. Sirius (Nine of Swords) CRUELTY
9 of Swords: CRUELTY (June 1 to June 10)
Astrology Sign: GEMINI (2nd Decan) Degree 10 - 19
Ruler of Card: MARS
Constellation CANIS MAJOR (The BIG DOG)
Chosen Star: SIRIUS (Means: The DOG Star) DOG Reversed GOD
Anatomy: GEMINI rules the LUNGS and the SHOULDER and the ARMS
GEMINI the TWINS
Positive Attributes: recovery, learning to cope, facing life, finding help, shame, guilt, mental health issues
Negative Attributes: fear, anxiety, negativity, breaking point, despair, nightmares, isolation.
Lord of Cruelty is never a happy card to emerge in a reading - it always indicates hardness and unkindness, a total lack of consideration or compassion. There's something almost mechanical in the way that this kind of cruelty manifests - almost as though inflicting pain is force of habit. There is no ethical responsibility for the victim of the attack, nor even any useful result from its application.
The card can come up to indicate some other person's cruelty toward you - in which case look for 'people' cards to give you a clue as to the instigator. It can come up to mark your cruelty to another person - in which case expect to find corrective cards nearby. Or it may indicate your unkindness and lack of empathy with your own inner needs and feelings.
The Nine of Swords is often associated with fear and anxiety, about all the things that worry you and keep you up at night. Sometimes this card can be associated with trauma - one which may be shameful for you to confide with others about, and all the psychological responses that come from experiencing that trauma.
In certain decks, the Nine of Swords depicts a woman that is sitting on her bed while she holds her head in her hands. It appears as though the woman has just awakened from a very bad nightmare. She seems to be upset, anxious and fearful. Nine swords are hanging on her wall, and a carving that depicts a person defeated by another can be found in her bed. The quilt has been decorated with various astrological symbols and roses. Here we see the same woman in that we saw earlier in the Eight of Swords - and perhaps, she was finally released, but haunted by the nightmares of the suffering she endured while she was left and deserted.

9. Hadar (Nine of Disks) GAIN
9 of Disks: GAIN (September 2 to September 11)
Astrology Sign: VIRGO (2nd Decan) Degree 10 - 19
Ruler of Card: VENUS
Constellation CENTAURUS (The Centaurs)
Chosen Star: HADAR (Means: The Settled Land)
Anatomy: VIRGO rules the COLON, INTESTINES, DIGESTIVE TRACKS
VIRGO The VIRGIN (Mary)
Positive Attributes: rewarded efforts, success, achievement, independence, leisure, material security, self-sufficiency.
Negative Attributes: being guarded, living beyond means, material instability, reckless spending, superficiality.
Lord of Gain, manifests that phrase 'what goes around comes around' is very relevant to this card. The Lord of Gain is a card that indicates that we have set in motion some plan or project, and we are now reaching a point of completion with it.
So on the day ruled by the 9 of Disks, we need to be open to opportunities which allow us to conclude work that has been outstanding; remain alert to new chances opening up before us; and ready to seize the moment when it appears.
This card accords with the ancient wisdom that we give what we get in life - so this is also a day to look for opportunities to offer our help and resources with no immediate expectation of return.
Take up chances to serve - whether in a mundane fashion, or to a higher source, in the sure knowledge that the things you give with love are the ones which build a bright new world.
This Nine of Pentacles card indicates that the querent has reached a stage in their lives where they are confident, independent and self-sufficient. Through hard work, this person is now ready to enjoy money, leisure and material comfort.
The difficulties that were faced in the earlier journey of the pentacles appear to be over. The Nine of Pentacles conveys not only joy, but also the feeling of security and freedom that material wealth can bring. Looking back, the querent can now celebrate the difficulties, the struggles, and the hard work that lined her path. Her previous challenges gave her the wider perspective she needs to understand the spiritual value of her success. Knowing how difficult it was to get here, she intends to enjoy every single day that is given to her.
In certain decks, The Nine of Pentacles depicts a woman in the middle of a vineyard. The woman wears what appears to be a long, luxurious dress adorned with sunflowers. She seems to be part of a wealthy house, for in the far background, we see a castle. A falcon is sitting peacefully and playfully on her left hand. The vines behind her are rich and filled with grapes and golden coins, signaling that she has been very successful in her ventures, which are yielding a great and plentiful harvest.

At a spiritual level, we're talking about inner harmony, contentment and tranquillity - an appreciation of the High Powers, feeling at one with the Universe. This feeling leads to feeling that we are blessed by life.
On an everyday level, the card will often come up to mark periods of high achievement, and the resulting sense of pleasure and satisfaction. It will also come up to acknowledge joy and happiness in an emotional relationship.
When this card appears in your reading, it's important to make the time to simply enjoy your own feelings, to revel in your sense of calmness and joy.
After a long journey, the Nine of Cups symbolizes the finding of self-satisfaction. The emotional journey of the cups is starting to come to a close after the volatile ups and downs you faced in the earlier numbers of this suit. You have struggled to find purpose and joy after loss, you have tasted the different things that life offers, and you have left comfort in order to find greater heights. Here, you have found them, and you are indulging yourself as you celebrate this new stage of your life.
When we look at the Nine of Cups, it can initially seem like one of the most pleasant cards that may appear during a reading. This is also referred as the wish card, which means that the things that you desire for, or your most perfect dream is bound to happen. The Nine of Cups is normally associated with extreme happiness and satisfaction.
In certain decks, In this card, a middle-aged man is sitting on a wooden bench while his arms are crossed, and his face are showing quite a level of contentment. He is dressed elegantly and has the look of the true satisfaction. The head-dress on his head is red, and is a depiction of his active mind. At his background, you will notice there are nine golden cups, structured and arranged in an orderly manner. The Nine of Cups symbolizes a representation of fulfillment and success, both spiritually and materially. The man shows that expression of success after achieving his innermost desire.

8. Sheliak (Eight of Wands) SWIFTNESS
8 of Wands: SWIFTNESS (November 23 to December 2)
Astrology Sign: SAGITTARIUS (1rst Decan) Degree 0 - 9
Ruler of Card: MERCURY
Constellation LYRA (The Harp and the Nine MUSES)
Chosen Star: SHELIAK (Means: Lyra)
Anatomy: SAGITTARIUS rules the HIPS (HIPPO) (HIPPOCAMPUS) (HYPOTHALAMUS) and the LIVER
SAGITTARIUS the CENTAUR
Positive Attributes: movement, speed, progress, quick decisions, sudden changes, excitement.
Negative Attributes: waiting, slowness, chaos, delays, losing momentum, hastiness, being unprepared.
Lord of Swiftness is a bright active card which comes up to mark periods of rapid, clear communication. This card will often represent the type of cathartic discussion which resolves misunderstanding and ends confusion. When passing through an event which is sign-posted by the 8 of Wands, there's often a feeling of quick-moving energy, and a sense that obstacles are being swept out of your path.
There's an important aspect of this card that is often overlooked - its spiritual interpretation. It can indicate the kind of direct divine instructions that causes a complete transformation - like a bolt of celestial power striking and infusing you. It provokes a sudden opening of the ways, a new level of understanding and spiritual expansion. Look for cards like the Star, The Priestess or the Hierophant close by in order to identify this not-to-be-missed effect!
The image depicted by the Eight of Wands means that the difficulties that were brought by the Seven of Wands are finally over. It signifies a strong level of energy which states that different aspects of your life will be trailblazing. Perhaps important news will be coming on your way, and you may experience a sudden, yet steady positive growth. The Eight of Wands meaning may also pertain to your work. There is a chance that the decision that you are waiting for will come your way soon. You need to be patient and just wait for it.
In certain decks, the Eight of Wands is depicted as eight flying staves that appear as if they are suspended in the air. Some may look at them as wands that are blossoming that are traveling at a maximum speed. The background where they travel through is a clear sky which represents that there is likely nothing that will stand in the way of these making it to their destination. It shows a majestic landscape with a river that is streaming, the water breathing life to the image. The wands also appear like they are about to land, which signals the end of a long journey.

8. Arneb (Eight of Swords) INTERFERENCE
8 of Swords: INTERFERENCE (May 21 to May 30)
Astrology Sign: GEMINI (1rst Decan) Degree 0 - 9
Ruler of Card: JUPITER
Constellation LEPUS (The Rabbit)
LEPUS = LEP () US ()
Chosen Star: Arneb (Means: The Hare)
ARNEB = AR () NEB ()
Anatomy: GEMINI rules the ARMS, the LUNGS and SHOULDERS
GEMINI = GEM (Crystal) IN (Inside) I (Eye) / The Crystal Eye (The Third Eye)
Positive Attributes: reedom, release, taking control, survivor, facing fears, empowered, surrender.
Negative Attributes: trapped, restricted, victimised, paralysed, helpless, powerless, imprisonment.
Lord of Interference, is the card that comes up to indicate deliberate or accidental interference with the natural flow of energy. This may come from inside ourselves, or from an outer (and possibly malicious) source. It often signals problems with endurance, inability to make decisions, lack of concentration on important details, and overall disturbance.
At best, the 8 of Swords will indicate a period where nothing goes quite the way you want it to. At worst it will indicate an obstructive and difficult period where serious damage can be done to our material environment, our emotional balance and our overall sense of well-being.
The general meaning in the Eight of Swords is that of a feeling of being trapped and victimized. You may feel powerless because, in your mind, you feel that changing the situation might be beyond you. This feeling of helplessness that you have, the feeling that you have no agency in your life, has played a major role in making your situation worse.
In certain decks, the Eight of Swords is a woman who is tied up and blindfolded. There are eight swords placed strategically around her in a way that restricts her movement as though she is in some kind of trap or jail. However, it seems as though whoever built the trap was a little lazy or hasty, leaving some open space where she could escape. But because of the blindfold preventing the woman from seeing, she has no way of finding her way out of this trap. The barren land around her might signify a lack of creativity of some sort, while the grey sky in the background can signify despair, since there she feels that there is no hope of her breaking free from the kind of situation that she is bound to. If only she could take the blindfold off, she would see that she could simply just walk out of this situation.

8. Diadem (Eight of Disks) PRUDENCE

Astrology Sign: VIRGO (1rst Decan) Degree 0 - 9
Ruler of Card: SUN
Constellation COMA BERENICES (Litle Christ Hair)
Chosen Star: DIADEM (Means: Berenice's Crown)
DIADEM = DIAD (LOWER GOD (ELECTRIC World / DIE-AD) DEM (DEMeter/DEMoiselle) VIRGO
Anatomy: VIRGO rules the COLON and the INTESTINES and the DIGESTIVE TRACKS
VIRGO = VIR (VIRtuous/VIRgra (Sprout) VIRgin (Pure) / GO (Advance)
Positive Attributes: skill, talent, craftsmanship, quality, high standards, expertise, mastery, commitment, dedication, accomplishmen, Myticulous.
Negative Attributes: lack of quality, rushed job, bad reputation, lack of motivation, mediocrity, laziness, low skill, dead-end job.
Lord of Prudence, is not quite as austere a card as it first sounds. It's another of those Disks that works on more than one level. In the purely material and mundane sphere it indicates a period where financial resources must be carefully managed.
So long as it does not appear with cards like the 10 of Swords or the 5 of Disks, there will not normally be any grave material problem. But there is a warning here that there may be unexpected expense, and good money management will enable us to fund whatever arises.
This card indicates a time that you have to work hard and focus entirely on your tasks. This is not necessarily a negative situation, but this means that you must really strive to be the best. The task that you need to accomplish can be personal or professional. No matter what type of task it is, do not be afraid to ask for help when things get overwhelming. The Eight of Pentacles refers to the efforts that you undertake. There is a possibility that there will be a lot of things that you need to address. Hard work is essential, but you still need to find a balance.
In certain decks, the Eight of Pentacles card depicts a young man who is etching a pentacle shape into the eight golden coins. The card symbolizes someone who is completely focused and absorbed in what they are doing. The town that is far in the background means that he successfully isolated himself from the distractions so that he can fully concentrate on his task. The Eight of Pentacles refers to that moments in your life when you are dedicated to completing a certain task. You are fully-immersed, and you are committed in delivering the best version of your work

8. AldeRAMin (Eight of Cups) INDOLENCE
8 of Cups: INDOLENCE (February 19 to February 28)
Astrology Sign: PISCES (1rst Decan) Degree 0 - 9
Ruler of Card: SATURN
Constellation CEPHEUS (The King)
CEPHEUS = CEPH (Head) EUS (Justice / Law) Head of the Law
Chosen Star: ALDERAMIN (Means: The Right Arm)

Anatomy: PISCES rules the FEET and the ADRENAL Glands
PISCES = PIS (Worse) CES (Cease)
Positive Attributes: abandonment, walking away, letting go, searching for truth, leaving behind.
Negative Attributes: stagnation, monotony, accepting less, avoidance, fear of change, staying in bad situation.
Lord of Indolence, is a card which indicates difficult influence around the person who draws it. Energy is stagnating now; there is no renewal, no cleansing flow. Instead, there is apathy and disappointment. If this state of affairs is allowed to continue, it will reflect negatively into daily life, causing disturbance in the domestic and material situation.
This card sometimes comes up during periods where you are tired and unable to generate any energy - during or just after periods of ill-health, for example. It can also be provoked where there is severe emotional distress. It carries with it an urgent warning to attend to whatever is blocking your energy, and to try to create open channels to get things moving again.
The Eight of Cups signifies time for change or transition, by means of walking away from something. Just like a caterpillar has to die before transforming into a beautiful butterfly, we all need to transform ourselves in our lives from time to time. This is the case especially after being tired of living what was the day to day, and embarking on a journey that will help one have a deeper understanding about life in general.
In certain decks, we see a cloaked figure taking off to a barren land leaving behind eight golden cups. He is tired of what those cups that he has spent so much time collecting, and is now setting out to seeking a higher purpose. It may be a result of a boredom or unhappiness that comes with realizing that whatever they have been looking for in life isn’t as pleasurable or as satisfying as they once assumed it would be.
The person undertaking this journey might also signify be seeking excitement in the unknown. The mountainous barren lands that he sets off to can also be symbols of facing new challenges. Their stark emptiness seem to indicate that they are waiting for one to come and shape the. The journey that is taken can be done in the guise of trying out new things that have the potential to help one grow both mentally as well as spiritually

7. Kraz (Seven of Wands) VALOUR
7 of Wands: VALOUR (August 12 to August 22)
Astrology Sign: LEO (3rd Decan) Degree 20 - 29
Ruler of Card: MARS
Constellation CORVUS (The Crow)
CORVUS = COR (Corpse) VUS (Horn)
Chosen Star: KRAZ (Means: To Preach)
KRAZ reversed is ZARK (The Gift of GOD)
Anatomy: LEO rules the HEART (Lion Heart)
LEO / LOE / LOW
Positive Attributes: protectiveness, standing up for yourself, defending yourself, protecting territory.
Negative Attributes: giving up, admitting defeat, yielding, lack of self belief, surrender.
Lord of Valour can best be summed up by the phrase 'feel the fear and do it anyway'. It is a card about encountering demanding and formidable situations in life, and having the courage to be true to your own desires, ambitions and needs.
Life is full of challenges. And sometimes we find it difficult to seize the moment, grasp our opportunities and live life to the full. The 7 of Wands comes up to indicate that you are facing one of those momentous happenings in life, and advises you to believe in yourself, grab your courage in both hands and go forward.
This will not only apply to difficult things - it can also point out to you that there is an opportunity to make your wildest dream come true, if only you will throw caution to the winds and dive right in.
The Seven of Wands has a similar in meaning to the Five of Wands; both cards indicate struggles after the initial fulfillment and satisfaction of an event. The Seven of Wands however is different as it is is about the struggle that you need to go through to maintain your position, rather than to attain it. This is about the difficulties we face to continue to have success. You should be ready for the competition to you defend your title, and to prove yourself. Others are going to desire the same results that you do, so you need to stay ahead of the them.
There will be challenges to the success of your project or venture from an outside source. You must remain dedicated to your desires, and with a clear purpose and effort, you will overcome them.
In certain decks, the Seven of Wands has an image of a man who is standing on a tall hill and being challenged by the opponents below. He seems to be defending this position and attacking in retaliation. It is interesting to note that in the Rider-Waite depiction of the Seven of Wands, the man is wearing not matching shoes. This is linked to the symbolism of being on uneven ground or not having a stable footing in life.

7. Azelfafage (Seven of Swords) FUTILITY
7 of Swords: FUTILITY (February 9 to February 18)
Astrology Sign: AQUARIUS (3rd Decan) Degree 20 - 29
Ruler of Card: MOON
Constellation CYGNUS (The Swan)
Chosen Star: Azelfafage (Means: The Horse Track)
Anatomy: AQUARIUS rules the SHINS, CLAVES and HEELS
A (Alpha) QUAR (Four) I (Eye) US (Humankind)
Positive Attributes: confession, conscience, regret, maliciousness, truth revealed.
Negative Attributes: lies, trickery, scheming, strategy, resourcefulness, sneakiness, cunning.
Lord of Futility, represents the times in life where we feel too overwhelmed and doubtful to act decisively toward our problems. It will usually appear when there are difficult decisions to be made, or when situations arise that require we take action. Because we are weary, feeling over-stressed and helpless, we do nothing. As a result, of course, things inevitably get worse.
Sometimes the card will come up because we have such a poor view of ourselves. We start to believe that nothing we do could possibly make a difference to the unhappy circumstances we find ourselves in. If not challenged, this attitude will lead us into being poor-little-me's, when we adopt a victim mentality, and secretly expect everybody else to sort things out for us.
The Seven of Swords in general, is said to be about betrayal and deception. When you get this card, it may imply that you or someone else in your life is having difficulty getting away with something. There are instances when we are forced to be sneaky, hoping that we will not be discovered. When we are found out, we have to face the consequences - whether it's embarrassment, punishment, or worse. Sometimes this happens when there are instances when you had to think on your feet, and did something that was somewhat shrewd and out of character. Now there is a danger of the secret coming out.
In certain decks, In the Seven of Swords card, there is a man that is seen running away sneakily from a camp of some sort, while carrying five swords in his hands. Behind him, two other swords are on standing on the ground. From this image, we can deduce that the Seven of Swords is about stealth, getting away with something, deception or betrayal.
The expression on the man’s face shows quite a bit of confidence, and he seems to be sure of his success on this mission of stealing the swords. Unfortunately for him though, on the left there seems to be a group of soldiers who have discovered the theft and one soldier is actually raising a flag or a weapon as if to signal his pursuit.

7. Haedus (Seven of Disks) FAILURE
7 of Disks: FAILURE (May 11 to May 20)
Astrology Sign: TAURUS (3rd Decan) Degree 20 - 29
Ruler of Card: SATURN
Constellation AURIGA (The Charioteer)
Chosen Star: Haedus (Means: One of the Kids)
HAEDUS = HAE (Have / Possess) DUS (Difficult / Hard) Possession Difficulties
Anatomy: TAURUS rules the CEREBELLUM (Reptilian Brain (Lower Brain)
TAURUS / TAU (resurrection) RUS (Rust) / Card ruled by SATURN (Metal of LEAD)...
Positive Attributes: harvest, rewards, results, growth, progress, perseverance, patience, planning.
Negative Attributes: unfinished work, procrastination, low effort, waste, lack of growth, setbacks, impatience, lack of reward.
Lord of Failure, is another of those cards we don't welcome too much in a reading - but things are not quite as bad as they seem with this one. Generally the card will come up to mark a difficult period in material life. That job you went after probably won't be offered to you; your bank balance is giving you problems; you don't seem to be able to get on top of things no matter how you try; unexpected bills turn up, causing you worry.
If you find yourself having a real run of bad financial fortune, it's time to examine your own reactions to making a success of yourself. If you believe you'll fail, then you surely will. If you allow fears about money and security to dominate your experience, then everything will be darkened by your own expectations. Remember - we have a major role in creating our own reality. If we expect negative things, we are inviting them into our lives.
The meaning of the Seven of Pentacles relates to investment and effort. It follows the Six of Pentacles which refers to the end of financial or material hardship. If you have been putting in time and effort in your work, it signifies that your efforts are paying off and they are going to pay off in the future as well.
If you are looking to invest, the Seven of Pentacles suggests that you are ready to put in a lot of effort, time and work into whatever you want to achieve. It reaffirms you of your long-term vision and helps to show that you are not confined to seeing results in the short term only. It shows how much you value the investment because of the effort that you are willing to put in.
In certain decks, The Seven of Pentacles shows a young man who seems to be taking a break from his hard labor to admire the fruit and blossoms in his garden. He rests on his shovel as he is admiring the seven pentacles hanging from the lush green vegetation. The way that he is laying his head over hands seems to suggest a kind of fatigue - he has worked hard to make sure that this year's crop is a good one. Because he is focused on long term goals, he cannot touch his harvest right now, and only reserves one of the pentacles for himself, choosing to invest the others. With his efforts, he hopes to grow his crop for the long term.

7. Kornephoros (Seven of Cups) DEBAUCH
7 of Cups: DEBAUCH (November 12 to November 22)
Astrology Sign: SCORPIO (3rd Decan) Degree 20 - 29
Ruler of Card: VENUS
Constellation HERCULES (The Warrior) HERC (HETZ) CULES (Arrogance) CULOS
Chosen Star: Kornephoros (Means: Club-bearer)
KOR (Measurement) NEPH (Clouds) PHOR (Carrier / Bearer) OS (Ora / Passage)
Anatomy: SCORPIO rules the GENITALS and the EXCREMENTAL SYSTEM
SCORPIO / S (Serpent) COR (Centre) PI (3.14159265) O
Positive Attributes: choices, searching for purpose, illusion, fantasy, daydreaming, wishful thinking, indecision.
Negative Attributes: lack of purpose, disarray, confusion, diversion, distractions, clarity, making choices.
Lord of Debauch, is a deceptive card and can bring in some difficult influences when it's about. We will always be tempted to do things that we will later regret, and we will find ourselves weak-willed when it comes to choosing what we know is the right course of action.
For instance, we might be faced with some sort of sexual temptation. This kind of situation can arise whether or not we are committed to another person - a one-night stand can have as many complications for the single as it can for the person in a partnership. Such an offer, when marked by the 7 of Cups, is going to have consequences that far outweigh the pleasure that might be fleetingly gained.
And again, the Lord of Debauch might come up to indicate that we are placed in a situation where we can make easy money, or obtain things in an inappropriate and unethical fashion - though it would not cover actual theft. But, for example, buying stolen property, or engaging in trickery to obtain money and possessions would come up here.
To draw the Seven of Cups in a reading shows that you need to clearly see the shadows and visions in your imagination, not only in your dreams but also in the real world. You should be careful of wishful thinking and be alert of the choices that you make. In one sense, the Seven of Cups indicates that you are a dreamer who is both excited and afraid of the things that you see in your unconscious. In another, the Seven of Cups is a reminder that although it is good to have dreams and wishes, it is even better to take action attaining those dreams. At one point in life, you will need to stop fantasizing and face the reality of life.
In certain decks, the card shows person with their back turned towards us, contemplating 7 images that are creeping out of the cups, all of which are floating in the clouds. Clouds are a representation of dreams, illusions, thoughts and imagination. There are numerous fantasies that are appearing from the cups, which are representative of the many visions that one sees while dreaming. The Seven of Cups may imply that you have a number of options to choose from..

Ruler of Card: JUPITER
Constellation CRATER (Means: The Chalice / Cup)
Chosen Star: LABRUM (Means: The Tip) / TIPsy
JUPITER with the CHALICE and VICTORY = DRINKING TOO MUCH

Anatomy: LEO rules the HEART and the PUMP of the the HEART / BLOOD CIRCULATION
LEO is the HEART / SUN rules LEO / SUN is the HEART / HEART is the EartH /
Positive Attributes: success, victory, triumph, rewards, recognition, praise, acclaim, pride
Negative Attributes: failure, lack of recognition, no rewards, lack of achievement.
Lord of Victory, is a powerful and happy card, which offers us satisfaction and contentment. We may have had to struggle hard in order to achieve the success this card promises us, but when we achieve this breakthrough, we are well rewarded.
So on a day which is ruled by the 6 of Wands, we can feel confident that the things we place our energy on will finally yield to our efforts. Pick things that have been particularly difficult to follow through on, and see whether the energy available today will bring them to completion.
Also remember that, with the 6 of Wands, there is a strong element of competitiveness. So when looking for things to work on when ruled by the Lord of Victory, seek out those areas where you see yourself as a contender. And go whole-heartedly after the opportunities offered.
This particular card is all about public recognition, victory, and success. Not only have you managed to properly succeed in achieving all of your goals, but you are also being publicly acknowledged for them and the results that you’ve managed to attain. You may have received an award or some sort of public acclaim.
The card is indicative that you have managed to harness the strengths and talents that you have within you in an attempt to bring a particularly successful outcome in your life. You have managed to properly get through the confusion which is brought by the card before this one – the Five of Wands, and managed to properly minimize distractions, thus successfully focusing on your goals and achieving them.
In certain decks, the Six of Wands tarot card depicts a man who is currently wearing a wreath of victory around his head. He is depicted riding a horse through a crowd of people who are cheering. The horse is white, which is a well-known symbol of strength, purity as well as success. The crowd is there to show the public’s recognition for the achievements of the man riding the horse. The wand that the man is carrying also has a wreath which is tied to it in an attempt to further emphasize his success. The man is not afraid, or shy about all of this attention but rather proud with his accomplishments. To this, the crowd around him reacts with cheerfulness and enthusiasm.

6. Sadalpheris (Six of Swords) SCIENCE
6 of Swords: SCIENCE (January 30 to February 8)
Astrology Sign: AQUARIUS (2nd Decan) Degree 10 - 19
Ruler of Card: MERCURY
Constellation PEGASUS (The Winged Horse)
Chosen Star: Sadalpheris (Means: Luck of the Stallion)
Anatomy: AQUARIUS rules the SHINS and the HEELS
AQUARIUS A (Alpha) QUARI (Reader) US (US as is Mankind)
Alpha Reader of Man
Positive Attributes: moving on, departure, leaving behind, distance, accepting lessons.
Negative Attributes: stuck in past, returning to trouble, running away from problems, trapped.
Lord of Science, appears in a reading when we have passed through a stormy or difficult time, and into the safety of a sheltered harbor, where we can recuperate, and consider the difficulties which have arisen around us.
Often we will have passed through a period of dreadful confusion - and frequently a time of emotional suffering. But this card indicates that, at least for the moment, pressure has eased, and we can try to sort out what we really feel. Frequently we need first to rest until we feel refreshed, but eventually we will be required to assess events and make new decisions for our future.
Because we will find ourselves seeing things more clearly, difficult and demanding decisions will be easier to make. We will find ourselves with a more clear overview of the issues we are facing. And we will be able to make choices which bring us peace of mind and happiness..
The meaning of the Six of Swords is that you are experiencing a transition of some kind, but one that is not happy and filled with regret. This transition will most likely be the result of decisions you made in the past, and now they are forcing you to leave something behind in order to move forward. Despite your sadness, you need to remember that moving on is the ideal option for your future.
The image in the Six of Swords shows a woman and a child in a boat being rowed in the water to a land that is on the other side. We can gather from the images that the woman and the child are leaving something behind, as their backs are faced towards us. The woman's head is covered with a cloak - perhaps she is fleeing something, and must go without others knowing her true identity. We can assume that because of this, she is undergoing great loss or sadness. The symbolism within the Six of Swords is that of loss or change, as well as moving towards a future that looks more promising than the one that we left behind. The six swords alongside the boat symbolize the strong power of the rational mind, compared to intuition and the heart.

6. Zaurak (Six of Disks) SUCCESS
6 of Disks: SUCCESS (May 1 to May 10)
Astrology Sign: TAURUS (2nd Decan) Degree 10 - 19
Ruler of Card: MOON
Constellation ERIDANUS (The River)
Chosen Star: Zaurak (Means: The Boat)
Anatomy: TAURUS Rules the NECK and the CEREBELLUM (Cere*BULL*um)
BULL - BELL - BEL - BILL - BALL - BOL - LUB - BULB - BLAB - BLOB - BLU - BLA BLA BLA
TOR - TORK - ROT - RED - TAR - RAT - ART - RUT - TUR (Tzur) - TIR - RIT - TORUS
Positive Attributes: generosity, charity, community, material help, support, sharing, giving and receiving, gratitude.
Negative Attributes: power dynamics, abuse of generosity, strings attached gifts, inequality, extortion.
Lord of Success, is a card full of the promise of bounty. When we have achieved a degree of inner confidence and self-belief, we release new streams of energy which create a powerful and rewarding reality around ourselves. New ideas are easy to implement. New projects are fruitful. We are energized and enthusiastic about the work we have in hand.
This level of productive harmony comes from a deep-rooted trust in the self. Once we simply allow our power to flow, we find ourselves capable of high levels of success and fulfillment. These things flow naturally as a reward for the hard work we have invested in ourselves.
When the card comes up in a reading to indicate everyday matters, it promises that projects currently in hand will be lucrative and abundant. We will do exactly what we had hoped we might - and probably receive even more than we had hoped for. Financial and material matters will be positive and prosperous, allowing us to gain a stable and comfortable position.
The Six of Pentacles means is that you are in a position where you have a good relationship with your income. Like the main figure in the card, the amount of money that you bring in and your expenses are balanced well, and you are fortunate enough to not have any stress. You are also grateful for all that you own and can happily share your wealth with others. As you can tell from the imagery in the card, the Six of Pentacles can be about charity. You can either be the man giving away money to the needy, or a beggar gratefully receiving what you need from wealthy donor.
In certain decks, the image on the Six of Pentacles, there is a man who is dressed in purple robes. The color purple symbolizes is the status and wealth of this man. He has a scale that is balanced in one hand, which stands for equality and fairness. We are reminded of the Justice tarot card, which suggests karma, cause and effect, and that we receive what we give. His other hand is giving money to two beggars who are kneeling at his feet. The Six of Pentacles suggests that you are in a secure enough position to give to others without affecting your own stability.

6. Sinistra (Six of Cups) PLEASURE
6 of Cups: PLEASURE (November 2 to November 11)
Astrology Sign: SCORPIO (2nd Decan) Degree 10 - 19
Ruler of Card: SUN
Constellation OPHIUCHUS (The Medicine Man / Healer)
Chosen Star: Sinistra (Means: Left / Evil / Unlucky)
Anatomy: SCORPIO rules the GENITALS and REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM
SCORPIO the SCORPION
Positive Attributes: nostalgia, memories, familiarity, healing, comfort, sentimentality, pleasure.
Negative Attributes: stuck in past, moving forward, leaving home, independence.
Lord of Pleasure, is a welcome card in any reading, bringing in a sense of harmony and balance. Existing relationships broaden and deepen, giving an extended sense of contentment and satisfaction.
It's important to recognize, with this card, that its influence extends only to established relationships - those which already have a history of their own. It will come up in a reading to indicate major steps forward, strengthened commitment, marriage, recovery after trial.
Mostly, it will relate to intimate relationships because of a strong link to contentment within sexual partnerships. Sometimes, the Lord of Pleasure will appear to mark the point at which a previously purely romantic relationship extends to become a sexual one as well. Because of this influence, there are also several connotations of creativity and fertility.
The Six of Cups upright generally represents generosity, naïve happiness, and childhood. It can stand for you wanting to return to a happier time, whether it was when you were a child, teenager, or young adult. Many times, these memories are things of the past, which reflect the aspects of ourselves that have vanished. You may feel that remembering these times is the only way to feel happy. The Six of Cups appearing in a reading seems to indicate that while we may look upon the past with a happy eye, we must avoid living in it.
The Six of Cups can also mean that you are be returning to a familiar place. This could be your hometown, an old friend’s home, a school, or any place that holds a lot of meaning for you. You are seeking to reconnect with people from your past. Bringing back old memories reminds us of our childhood, a time when things were simpler.
The Six of Cups symbolize the joy of nostalgia, the comfort of home and childhood innocence. In certain decks, In the card itself, there are six cups filled with white flowers. Two children are depicted in the foreground, and one is passing a cup to another. This handing of the flowers from the boy to the girl shows the passing of traditions and happy reunions. The children seem to be in a castle of sorts, that we can imagine give them a sense of security and comfort.

5. Ashlesha (Five of Wands) STRIFE
5 of Wands: STRIFE July 22 to August 1)
Astrology Sign: LEO (1rst Decan) Degree 0 - 9
Ruler of Card: SATURN
Constellation HYDRA (The SEA/SEE Serpent)
Chosen Star: Ashlesha (Means: SERPENT)
Anatomy: LEO rules the HEART (Lion Heart)
LEO / OEL (OIL) / HYDRA OIL / Hydrate
Positive Attributes: positive changes, recovery from loss, overcoming adversity, forgiveness, feeling welcomed.
Negative Attributes: end of conflict, cooperation, agreements, truces, harmony, peace, avoiding conflict.
Lord of Strife usually appears in a reading to indicate quarrels, conflict and discord. There is rarely anything of value to be gained from the disharmony introduced by this card - in fact, it will often indicate bitterness and argument for argument's sake.
This card will often come up when some-one is very unhappy with a working situation - there is, perhaps, a clash of personality with somebody else; or perhaps the individual is unhappy with working practices. Often in this situation there's a tendency toward rashness and loss of control which can lead to further problems.
From the image on the card, the symbolism in the Five of Wands suggests that there is form of conflict in one’s life. This may be an existing conflict or one that is brewing and may eventually blow up in one's face. It may also depict a problem in communication, for example in a situation where no one really wants to listen to the other - meaning that no agreement or understanding takes place. The five men may signify problems in a group of people who are not patient enough to listen to what anyone else is saying. They only want to be heard, and since none of the others will listen, they all argue at once.
In certain decks, the Five of Wands depicts five men all holding their own wands and brandishing them up in the air. Like with most fives in the tarot, it is about some kind of disagreement that is facing the querent. This disagreement can either be taken to be as a sign of conflict between the men, or that all of them are simply enjoying the adrenaline rush of this conflict, and that the competition amongst them is of a good natured rivalry, not anger. The relaxed way in which they seem to be holding their wands gives a sense that this argument may be one of show rather than a fierce one.

5. Formalhaut (Five of Swords) DEFEAT
5 of Swords: DEFEAT (January 20 to January 29)
Astrology Sign: AQUARIUS (1rst Decan) Degree 0 - 9
Ruler of Card: VENUS
Constellation PISCES AUSTRANUS (The Southern Lost Fish)
Chosen Star: Formalhaut (Means: MOUTH OF THE FISH)
Anatomy: AQUARIUS Rules the CALVES and the OXYGEN transformation to CARBON
AQUARIUS = AQUA (Water) ARIUS (Immortal) /
Immortal Water of the Heavens (The Water Bearer)
Positive Attributes: reconciliation, resolution, compromise, regret, remorse, cutting losses.
Negative Attributes: arguments, disputes, aggression, bullying, intimidation, conflict, hostility, stress, revenge.
Lord of Defeat, is yet another of the unwelcome Sword cards. It generally appears to indicate that we are in for some disappointment or loss.
In a highly competitive world, we are bound to be defeated by some of the challenges we set ourselves. If we are not to limit ourselves so severely that we never compete for anything, then at some time this card will inevitably come up. And our response to its effect is very important. If we feel shattered and disillusioned, then we will start the process which leads inevitably to the 10 of Swords - Ruin.
The way we face the 5 of Swords has a great deal to do with how much effect a setback can have on the whole of our life. If we are able to accept that we cannot be winners all the time, if we are to set our minds to learning from our experiences, if we are to struggle to be positive in the face of adversity, then we can overcome disappointment, and rob the Lord of Defeat of total triumph!.
This card indicates that you are engaging in a conflict of some nature. It can also suggest a disagreement with others, which leads to hostility and tension. Despite the fact that you think you’ve won, you might still lose in the big picture, because you have annoyed or hurt those that you have argued with, and as a result, you are on the road to isolating yourself. Perhaps, at the moment, you believed that it was more important to be right rather than appreciate and understand where the other side was coming from.
In certain decks, the Five of Swords card depicts a young man who has a very convenient look of contempt on his face. He is looking at the enemies that he has managed to conquer. There are five swords that he possesses – which he has taken from the other combatants who are in the card. The two other figures are walking away from him in a slow manner with a sense of loss and sadness. Above them, the sky is tumultuous and cloudy, which indicates that not everything is well, despite the fact that the battle is already over.

5. Bellatrix (Five of Disks) WORRY
5 of Disks: WORRY (April 21 to April 30)
Astrology Sign: TAURUS (1rst Decan) Degree 0 - 9
Ruler of Card: MERCURY
Constellation ORION (The Hunter)
Chosen Star: Bellatrix (Means: WARIORESS)
Anatomy: TAURUS Rules the NECK and the CEREBELLUM (Cere-BULL-um)
TAURUS the BULL (TOR the BULL) ROT (RED) the BULL (BLUE) / Red Shift / Blue Shift of TORus / Taurus FIELD
Middle of TORUS Field is The HYPERBOLOID (Hyper-BULL-Oid)
Positive Attributes: positive changes, recovery from loss, overcoming adversity, forgiveness, feeling welcomed.
Negative Attributes: hardship, loss, isolation, feeling abandoned, adversity, struggle, unemployment, alienation, disgrace.
Lord of Worry, is most aptly titled, for when this card comes up in a reading, there looks to be financial, material or domestic trouble on the horizon. Something poses a threat to your overall security. This might be an unexpected expense, or job worries, or maybe even a disturbance in your family life.
There will always be something to worry about, when the 5 of Disks comes up. But there's one important thing to bear in mind - whatever is causing the problem is much more of a threat than it is a reality. Worrying about it might just make it worse than it needs to be!
When the Lord of Worry is about, anxiety is the emotion of the moment. We look to the future and we see something nasty ahead. Then we sit and worry about it. Try to remember - what you put your attention on grows. So if you worry about your overdraft, it will get bigger! That's not, of course, to say you should not do all you are able to DO, in an awkward situation - just that once you have, there's no point in worrying about it..
Whenever the Five of Pentacles shows up in a reading, it suggests a time of hardship and insecurity. The meaning of this card can be deep loneliness, illness, poverty or loss. Your status might take a turn for the worse in the near future. There is a chance that you will lose something significant, whether it is financial wealth or an important item. Deterioration of your health might be already ongoing or be very sudden
In certain decks, It shows two individuals walking outside while it is snowing. Not only are they cold, they are also sick, poor, tired, and hungry. It looks as if they are lacking the basic necessities of life. A lot of people can relate to the two individuals in more ways than one.
One of the individuals in the card has crutches, while the other figure has a shawl covering her head. She is walking barefoot in the snow. There is a black wall in the background with a stained glass window featuring the five pentacles, suggesting a church of some kind.
More often than not, the Five of Pentacles is a bad omen. However, do not fret, as it can change depending on where it is placed in the reading.

5. Alya (Five of Cups) DISAPPOINTMENT
5 of Cups: DISAPPOINTMENT (October 23 to November 1)
Astrology Sign: SCORPIO (1rst Decan) Degree 0 - 9
Ruler of Card: MARS
Constellation SERPENS CAUDA (Snakes Tale) SERPENS CAPUT (Snakes Head)
SERP (To Crawl) PEN (Feather) (And the Serpent became the Eagle...)
Chosen Star: Alya (Means: SNAKE)
Anatomy: SCORPIO rules the REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM GEN-ITALS (Genesis Vitals)
SCORPIO / S (Serpent) CORP (Body) PIO (Devout)
Positive Attributes: acceptance, moving on, finding peace, contentment, seeing positives.
Negative Attributes: loss, grief, disappointment, sadness, mourning, discontent, feeling let down.
Lord of Disappointment, almost always means that somebody somewhere is going to make us feel let down or sad about something. And often when that happens we can end up giving ourselves a hard time, and hurting ourselves unnecessarily.
But there's one important thing to consider when we get disappointed - we feel that way because an expectation we had is not fulfilled, whether by ourselves or by somebody else. So if you get this card coming up often, it's worth taking a good look at your expectations. Are they unrealistic? Are they geared to the abilities and characteristics of the person you hold them of? Or do you expect too much - this is an attitude we tend to apply most viciously to ourselves. Are you expecting more than you have a right to? Are you expecting things that the person in question -yourself or somebody else - is simply not able to provide? If the answer to any of the above is yes, then if you change your expectation, you'll stop being disappointed.
The Five of Cups symbolizes disappointment, and the feelings that come when things go differently as you expected. You are feeling unhappy that a certain situation hasn’t really turned out the way you have hoped it would. Instead of moving towards a more positive perspective, this card seems to say that you are dwelling in the past, inducing feelings of self-pity and regret. The water which is actually spilled from the cups shows that you might have missed an opportunity. It also shows that the problem is mostly emotional and not material or financial.
There are certain Tarot cards whose imagery immediately conjure up negative emotions, and the Five of Cups carries such weight. This is a card which signifies loss as well as the painful challenges which stem from that particular loss.
In certain decks, the card depicts a figure that is wearing a black cloak. The person hides his face in what seems to be despair. There are five cups on the ground, three of which have fallen while the other two remain standing. The person, however, seem to notice that there are two standing cups as is too busy mourning over those which are fallen. There is a powerful river which flows between him and a house or a castle in the distance, indicating that a torrent of emotions have separated him from home.

4. Gorgonea (Four of Wands) COMPLETION
4 of Wands: COMPLETION (April 11 to April 20)
Astrology Sign: ARIES (3rd Decan) Degree 20 - 29
Ruler of Card: VENUS
Constellation PERSEUS (The HERO)
PERSEUS = PERS (PERSON) / SEUS (ZEUS) J-Zeus (JESUS)
For Self Completion we should be a PERSon like zEUS (Jesus)
Chosen Star: Gorgonea (Means: Gorgons) GORE-GONE
Anatomy: CEREBRUM / CEREs BRAIN /
ARIES the LAMB / LAMP / PALM / BALM / B-LAM / Beta LAM
Positive Attributes: community, home, celebrations, reunions, parties, gatherings, stability, belonging.
Negative Attributes: lack of support, instability, feeling unwelcome, transience, lack of roots, home conflict.
Lord of Completion, marks a point where a circle has been completed. It can apply to work projects, personal situations - even phases of life. In some respects it's like a lesser reflection of the Universe, the final Major Arcana card.
Another aspect of the 4 of Wands associate it with the Major Arcanum of Adjustment, or Justice. This is because this Wand indicates the manifestation of balanced forces, resulting in the fulfilment of earlier hopes, ideas and dreams. The balance aspect, combined with the overall morality of Wands, brings us to think about injustice being resolved, inequity acknowledged and set right.
This is a good card, promising not only the sense of natural satisfaction which arises when we follow our ideas through to their logical conclusion, but also the opportunity to start new things off.
The overall meaning of the Four of Wands is that it heralds celebration as well as a harmonious, happy and relaxed home environment. In terms of numerology, the number four symbolizes stability as well as particularly reliable foundations. These are associated with a period of happiness and balance.
The symbolism within the Four of Wands poses that this is the perfect time for you to get together with close people such as friends and family. This could be with or without any special occasion. Oftentimes the card is known to reflect a period of holidays when you are together with your friends and family for an extended period of time. It might also be suggesting for you to invite your closest friends for a great and intimate dinner and share a laugh or two..
In certain decks, The Four of Wands depicts a couple which dances beneath the welcome wreath which is tied between four wands, which are crystal tipped. There is a canopy of flowers on the card which resembles the canopy that is particularly characteristic of the traditional Jewish ceremony. There seems to be a party that is going on, or some kind of welcome committee for the couple in question. You can see from the image that it represents a time which is sprinkled with feelings of fulfillment, satisfaction brought by the actual attainment of a goal.

Lord of Truce marks a period where we are able to rest and recover, after a difficult time in our lives. It will appear after trauma - the breakdown of a relationship; a troublesome and worrying time financially; an operation or major illness.
There will always have been conflict and stress beforehand, this card marks the kind of breathing space we often need in order to clarify our view of the situation, to gather our strength and to decide how best to move forward. When this card appears in a reading, the first thing it tells us is that it is time to rest, time to stop worrying about the things that have happened.
However, it must be noted that Truce is not peace. This is a respite - a down time in which we can catch our breath, ease our tension and relax for a brief time. But once that has been done, we need to recognise that there is still more to be done - the battle isn't over yet. So when acting under the influence of this card, bear in mind that first you must take it easy, but then you must begin to plan your next step.
After the time of chaos, anger and pain depicted in the Three of Swords, the Four of Swords can signal that it is time to retreat. The Four of Swords is a moment of rest. Whether this is from a choice to withdraw, or whether it is from pure exhaustion, it is not clear. We are still tender from the wounds that were inflicted, and the battle weapons still hang above us as a grim reminder of what was lost. In order to continue and re-emerge in your daily life, you must take the time now to take a breather. There is always the faint fear that something more is bound to happen again and it is advisable that you take all chances to rest.
In certain decks, there is a quiet stillness that is present in the Four of Swords, a sense of calm peace that is contrasted so deeply with the pain in the Three of Swords. Here, in a church, there is a carving of a knight that lies upon a tomb with three swords hanging above him while the fourth one lies beneath him. These three swords are a reminder of the suffering that he has endured in the earlier card. The position of the fourth sword seems to be a signal that the fight has ended. A child and a woman are depicted by the stained glass place behind the statue, giving the scene a sense of warmth and welcoming after the retreat. The knight has his hands positioned as if he is praying.

4. Dulfim (Four of Disks) POWER
4 of Disks: POWER (January 10 to January 19)
Astrology Sign: CAPRICORN (3rd Decan) Degree 20 - 29
Ruler of Card: SUN
Constellation DELPHINUS (The Dolphin / ORACLE of Delphi)
DELPHI /DEL reversed LED / LEAD) PHI (Magick Number 1.6180)
PHI Greek Alphabet (Alpha-Beth): 21rst Letter
Chosen Star: Deneb Dulfim (Means: Tale of the Dolphin)
Anatomy: CAPRICORN rules the Knees CAPs / Skeletal System (Bones)
CAPRICORN / CAPital / CAPtain / CAPture / CAPrice / CAPe / etc...
CAPRICORN the GOAT / CAP reversed PAC / Pact
Positive Attributes: stability, security, savings, generosity, giving, spending, openness, wealth.
Negative Attributes: possessiveness, insecurity, hoarding, stinginess, materialism, frugality, boundaries, guardedness, financial insecurity, reckless spending.
Lord of Power, represents the time when we achieve a stable level of material balance - at least for that moment in time. At the purely mundane level, it might come up after we had settled into a new home, or undertaken major improvements. The card is, at this level, much concerned with asset security and material bounty.
One thing to bear in mind about attaining the mundane value of this card - though you have achieved one level of material stability, you cannot either cling to this, nor take it for granted. Become too smug and you'll find yourself losing the sense of safety and balance which has occurred. The human being is not naturally given to stagnation.
The Four of Pentacles card is capable of generating both negative and positive perceptions. On one hand, the card signifies that you have successfully managed to accomplish much of your goals and you have managed to attain a significant material wealth in the process. However, on the other hand, there is a significant chance that you will start valuing things only for their material worth. You have worked hard to get to the point where you are now, and it is absolutely natural for your to desire to make sure that you remain stable. But this also has a chance to turn you into an overly possessive or greedy person who wants to ensure that no one is capable of taking away your own wealth.
In certain decks, this card depicts a man who is sitting on a stool, who is holding onto two pentacles in a very defensive and tight posture. It’s almost as if he is hoarding them out of fear of loss. One pentacle is balanced precariously on his head, while another one is tightly clutched between his own hands, and there are two of them which are securely placed underneath his feet. He is making sure that there is absolutely no one touching his coins. At the same time, he is also unable to move because he is holding the coins so tightly. In other words, he is restrained from acting because he is holding too tight to his possessions. To some, money does not always bring freedom.

4. Suhail (Four of Cups) LUXURY
4 of Cups: LUXURY (July 12 to July 21)
Astrology Sign: CANCER (3rd Decan) Degree 20 - 29
Ruler of Card: MOON
Constellation ARGO VELA (The Barc / The Ship) B-ARC / Beta-Arc
ARC of Covenant / ARC-En-Ciel (French for Rainbow) / Noah's ARC etc...
Chosen Star: Suhail (Means: Smooth Plain)
Anatomy: CANCER rules the STOMACH
CANCER the CRAB (Reversed CRAB=BARC (BARCo is a SHIP)
ARGO / BARGO / BARCO - VELA / VOILE / VALE
Positive Attributes: clarity, awareness, acceptance, choosing happiness, apathy, contemplation,
Negative Attributes: feeling disconnected, melancholy, boredom, indifference, discontent, depression, negativity.
Lord of Luxury, is a card with a hidden sting in its tail. On the surface it indicates a wealth of loving affection, showing a person who is lucky enough to receive a great deal of devotion and tenderness.
At first look, you would think we would be all too pleased with this situation wouldn't you? However, the sting is this - sometimes, when we are loved deeply and for a long period of time, we are foolish enough to forget what it feels like when we are lonely and unloved. And as soon as we make that mistake, we start to undervalue the tenderness and emotional investment that others are making in us.
We begin to get careless about the ways in which we treat those people who love us. We may hanker after love from some-one outside our circle, instead of valuing those people closer to hand who love us from the bottom of their hearts..
The Four of Cups tend to appear when you are feeling discouraged and unmotivated. You may feel as if there is no solution or way forward in your situation. Life has become stagnant, and nothing seems to make you happy or passionate. You are feeling apathetic - regardless of what happens, whether the day is good or bad, none of it matters to you. The Four of Cups commands a self-evaluation of your attitude so that you can pull yourself out of this rut. The solution is likely right in front of you, the hand is offering you a way out, but you release yourself out of your mental stubbornness and deploy new approach.
In certain decks, the Four of Cups displays a young man sitting under a tree on a mountaintop, far from others. He seems to be in contemplation and meditation. In front of him are three cups laying on the grass while another cup is being offered to him by a hand in the air. The man has crossed his hand and legs, and he is looking down at the three cups, unimpressed, such that he cannot see the cup being presented to him by the stretched arm.
The Four of Cups represents our tendency to take for granted the things that we have, making it hard for us to see what treasures the universe presents us with. We tend to have the answers to our troubles right around us, but we tend to focus too much on what we do not have.

Lord of Virtue, represents our true-ness to our own inner needs and inspirations. It represents a point of inner balance where we are clear about the things we want to create in our lives, and confident in our ability to make our dreams come true. Out of this clarity and confidence arises a new quality of self-reliance and happiness.
We develop a new understanding of our virtues, our skills, our talents; we have a better view of what we have to offer and what we need in return. We become more aware of ourselves, and more in harmony with the Powers of Light.
The meaning of the Three of Wands hints that you are planning or going to plan for the future with more conviction. This could mean that everything around your plans is going smoothly, as you have taken the time to plan your future, and are taking steps to turn plans into action. It hints that you are perhaps creating a stable foundation for yourself.
The symbolism within the Three of Wands is that opportunities that can take place to widen your horizons in many areas. It also is a warning to keep your mind open as better opportunities could open up to you. As you take steps towards achieving what you set out to do, you are also becoming more aware of opportunities that are coming your way, and this could be take you out of your comfort zone. This pushes you to sometimes embrace change, and to start thinking in the long-term.
In certain decks, the Three of Wands depicts a man who is standing on the edge of a cliff, looking over the ocean and the mountains. From the cliff edge, he sees everything that is ahead of him. The Wands are planted into the ground and surround the man as he grasps one in his hand. He seems to look forward and reflect on both the commitment that he has for his plans, as well as the method of execution in order to bring them to reality.

3. Kekouan (Three of Swords) SORROW
3 of Swords: SORROW (October 3 to October 12)
Astrology Sign: LIBRA (2nd Decan) Degree 10 - 19
Ruler of Card: SATURN
Constellation LUPUS (The Wolf)
Chosen Star: Kekouan (The Imperial Guard)
Anatomy: Libra rules the Kidneys
Libra The Scales (Reversed is Arbil / Abril / Avril / April) it's opposite Energy Force
Positive Attributes: healing, forgiveness, recovery, reconciliation, repressing emotions, see higher truth.
Negative Attributes: heartbreak, separation, sadness, grief, sorrow, upset, loss, trauma, tears.
Lord of Sorrow, almost always indicates some sort of disruption which will cause pain and uncertainty. Such disruption leads to loss of balance and disharmony. These natives often see the higher and harsh truth about their surroundings and this might then create sorrow if one can't accept that harsh truth.
The 3 of Swords may also indicate loss or separation. In order to determine how serious this is liable to be, you need to consider the cards surrounding this one. With Death, or the Tower, the loss is liable to be of a serious and deeply distressing nature.
The Three of Swords depicts the message of rejection, betrayal, hurt and discouragement. In moments like these, we are well served by the mind. If you can think logically about it and prepare for the experience, the impact of this pain may be minimized.
But remember too, that pain and grief are a normal part of life, because they make us appreciate what joy and happiness we have, as well as teaching us. It is through pain that we learn to be avoid mistakes that could lead us into danger and grief. It is therefore a necessity in the journey of life. The Three of Swords therefore is a depiction of suffering that is meant to make us stronger, more careful and more vigilant.
In certain decks, one of the most iconic images in the tarot, the Three of Swords displays a floating heart that is pierced by three swords. Above it, there are heavy clouds. There is also a heavy downpour in the background. The symbolism is pretty opaque, and the emotional effect that it has is immediate. The heart is the seat of warmth, affection and spirit, and the three swords indicate the power to harm, cause pain, and create suffering to what it pierces. This is an image of grief, loss and literally heartbreak. The clouds and rain depict the surrounding grimness of the situation. All these symbols point to the Three of Swords showing a low point in one's life.
