3. The Empress (Daleth Door) Venus
TRUMP card / Major Arcana: 3 - THE EMPRESS
Hebrew Letter: DALETH (DOOR)
Hebrew Value: 4
Ruler: VENUS / THE HOLY MOTHER
Positive Attributes: divine feminine, sensuality, fertility, nurturing, creativity, beauty, abundance, nature.
Negative Attributes: insecurity, overbearing, negligence, smothering, lack of growth, lack of progress.
In The Tarot- key 3, The Empress, is the symbol of the universal principle of love with wisdom. She is a symbol of our ability to extend love and receive love. In Jungian psychology, she is the anima, the feminine nature.
The Empress is numbered Three and symbolizes one half of a perfect polarity - the Emperor being the other side of the balance. From the purity of the High Priestess we move naturally onward to the Empress' sense of bounty and fertility. She represents the Mother Goddess, fulfilling her part in the eternal cycle of creation, hence is ruled by VENUS (Aphrodite).
The Empress holds the power to steadily and determinedly rebuild, renew, nurture and nourish. She has an unquenchable and generous courage, responding instantly when she sees a need to defend. Her realm is built of love, fertility and warmth. When the Empress holds us we are once again in the sure safety of the infant at its mother's breast.
She also represents unconditional love - making no demands and setting no conditions. If we allow her love to flow through us then we too can become a pure spring through which the Universe flows. Only our fears stand between us and the Goddess.
The Empress shows us how deeply we are embedded to our femininity. Femininity could be associated with fertility, expression, creativity and nurturing among many other aspects. It therefore calls you to connect with beauty and bring happiness to your life. Understand yourself and get in touch with your sensuality so that you can attract life circumstances to bring happiness and joy. She is a signal that be kind to yourself, to take care of yourself.
In certain decks, The Empress depicts a woman sitting on a throne. From the abundant nature that surrounds her, we can assume that this woman represents the Earth Mother archetype, a goddess of fertility. Her world is ruled by Venus which means that there is complete love, harmony, fertility and luxury by the grace of this goddess. The woman herself has blonde hair crowned with stars, signaling her divine connection with the mystical realm. She is dressed in a pomegranate-patterned robe that represents fertility, and she is seated on cushions embroidered with a Venus sign. She is surrounded by an enchanting green forest with a river streaming through it. The Empress brings abundance and blessings in the readings of those she meets.

2. The High Priestess (Gimel Camel) Moon
TRUMP card / Major Arcana: 2 - THE HIGH PRIESTESS
Hebrew Letter: GIMEL (CAMEL / ROPE)
Hebrew Value: 3
Ruler: MOON
Positive Attributes: unconscious, intuition, mystery, spirituality, higher power, inner voice, psychic abilities, Astral connection.
Negative Attributes: repressed intuition, hidden motives, superficiality, confusion, cognitive dissonance, secretive, manipulator.
THE HIGH PRIESTESS - Key-2: Is the 13th Path on the Kabbhalistic Tree of Life and is given the Hebrew letter of Gimel (Camel or Rope). This path is not a literal return to the warm enclosure of the Cosmic Womb, as is THE EMPRESS - Key 3. Rather, she represents the Supreme Mother, who is as of yet, nether female or male.
The High Priestess (Isis) is numbered two. She is the complementary partner of the Magician, possessing all his skill and ability, but with far more insight and psychism. She is more subtle yet somehow far more noticeable.
She is almost always shown with the Lunar Crescent, conveying her natural affinity with the forces of Nature and natural cycles. The Magician generates his own power, whereas the Priestess draws upon the forces of life itself.
It is the Priestess who allows us to penetrate the innermost secrets of life. She is also the bridge between our conscious and Higher selves, by teaching us through our dreams and our subconscious. It is in our subconscious that we hold the keys to the Universe.
The meaning of the High Priestess is related with inner knowledge. Her appearance in a reading can signify that it is time for you to listen to your intuition rather than prioritizing your intellect and conscious mind. When the High Priestess shows up it can depict an archetype known as the divine feminine - the mysterious female that understands and holds the answers to the deep unknowns; religion, self, nature. She represents someone that is intuitive, and beginning to open to her or his spirituality. Meditation, prayer and new spiritual work is indicated.
In certain decks, she can be seen in the archetypes of Persephone, Artemis, Isis and many more. When you encounter her, you will see her sitting on a cubic stone between the two pillars at Solomon’s Temple, Jachin, and Boaz. Jachin (right) is generally referred to as the Pillar of Establishment and Boaz (left) is the Pillar of Strength. The pillars also depict the duality of nature; masculine and feminine, good and evil, negative and positive.
The High Priestess's location between the two suggests that it is her responsibility to serve as a mediator between the depths of the reality. She is the third pillar - the path between. She believes that both pillars are equal and there is knowledge to be learned in both worlds. You will also notice that she wears the crown of Isis which can mean that she is a believer of magic. The high priestess wearing of the solar cross denotes that she is connected to the season of the earth and the earth itself. The crescent moon at her feet is seen also in many depictions of the Virgin Mary, and means that she has a complete grasp over her emotion and the pomegranates refer to the ambition of the priestess.

1. The Magus (Beth House) Mercury
TRUMP card / Major Arcana: 1 - THE MAGUS / THE MAGician (MAGnetism)
Hebrew Letter: BETH (HOUSE)
Hebrew Value: 2
Ruler: MERCURY (MENTAL BODY)
(note: MERCURY is the accumulated density of thoughts in the Mental Body whereas AIR has no density; which is why AIR rules the carefree Mental Body of The FOOL).
Positive Attributes: willpower, desire, being resourceful,, skill, ability, concentration, manifestation, tapping into the MAG (MAGnetism).
Negative Attributes: manipulation, cunning, trickery, wasted talent, illusion, deception, egocentric.
Here it is Key-One, The Path of Beth; Beth is a Hebrew letter meaning "House" or "Temple". The Planet attributed to the Magician/Magus is Mercury, thus the winged heals on the Thoth Deck Magus card.
The Magician is normally numbered ONE. The Magician is usually depicted as a powerful adept, a master of the four elements. He is able to shift events in his favor - to make the World change around him according to his Will.
He is highly skilled, highly powerful and hence a highly dynamic and charismatic figure. He is that part of us which we harness to control our own lives. When we are the Magician we make what we want happen.
However, you can be sure that we receive exactly what we ask for - "be careful what you wish/pray for, you might just get it"! The Magician knows where to throw the pebble into the pool of the Universe in order to get exactly the ripples he wants. If we choose happiness and joy and put our Will behind those, that is what we can achieve.
The Magician is the representation of pure willpower. With the power of the elements and the suits, he takes the potential innate in the fool and molds it into being with the power of desire. He is the connecting force between heaven and earth, for he understands the meaning behind the words "as above so below" - that mind and world are only reflections of one another. Remember that you are powerful, create your inner world, and the outer will follow.
In certain decks, The Magician is one tarot card that is filled with symbolism. The central figure depicts someone with one hand pointed to the sky, while the other hand points to the ground, as if to say "as above, so below". This is a rather complicated phrase, but its summarization is that earth reflects heaven, the outer world reflects within, the microcosm reflects the macrocosm, earth reflects God. It can also be interpreted here that the magician symbolizes the ability to act as a go-between between the world above and the contemporary, human world to lower worlds such as the animal, plant and stone. "Even the invisible".
On his table, the magician also wields all the suits of the tarot. This symbolizes the four elements being connected by this magician - the four elements being earth, water, air, and fire. The infinity sign on his head indicates the infinite possibilities of creation with his will.

0. The Fool (Aleph Ox) Air
TRUMP card / Major Arcana: 0 - THE FOOL
Hebrew Letter: ALEPH (OX) (THE OX (ALEPH)TO THE CROSS (TAV)
Hebrew Value: 1
Ruler: AIR (MENTAL BODY BEARING NO DENSITY)
Positive Attributes: beginnings, freedom, innocence, originality, adventure, idealism, spontaneity.
Negative Attributes: reckless, careless, distracted, naive, foolish, gullible, stale, dull.
As a Path, THE FOOL in the TREE OF LIFE: connects Kether -1- (Crown) with Chokmah -2- (Wisdom). To the kabbalist, Kether is known as the "Source of All", and Chokmah is known as "Father God" or "God of the Covenant".
The Path of Aleph, meaning OX, is about the "flowing of Life Force and creative power", showing the "SPIRIT'S aim to be that of final manifestation on Earth and/or Sensual Being.
The Fool is the first card of the Tarot and is generally unnumbered as zero. The Fool is at the start of our journey and is the initiator. Seen by many as the innocent, he has an eagerness and freshness about him. He is young and carefree, entering the World without preconceptions.
The Fool trusts in life and expects his path to be a happy and rewarding one. There is faith in the gods to see him through and has a complete absence of fear.
Sometimes the Fool is seen as too carefree - certainly a good dose of other people's more negative reality could damage him. However, for as long as the Fool has faith in his own purity and innocence, others will not be able to take advantage.
This is the child within. This is how we were before the many experiences of life forced us to build up so many walls and barriers. The Fool does not shade himself from the light - here we are born and from here we walk the path. It's time to jump off the cliff...
The Fool card is numbered 0, which is considered to be a number of infinite potential. Like a blank slate, for The Fool has yet to develop a clear personality. He is the symbol of innocence - his journey to come will shape his character yet.
The Fool generally means a beginning of a new journey, one where you will be filled with optimism and freedom from the usual constraints in life. When we meet him, he approaches each day as an adventure, in an almost childish way. He believes that anything can happen in life and there are many opportunities that are lying out there, in the world, waiting to be explored and developed. He leads a simple life, having no worries, and does not seem troubled by the fact that he cannot tell what he will encounter ahead.
In certain decks, The Fool depicts a youth walking joyfully into the world. He is taking his first steps, and he is exuberant, joyful, excited. He carries nothing with him except a small sack, caring nothing for the possible dangers that lie in his path. Indeed, he is soon to encounter the first of these possible dangers, for if he takes just a step more, he topple over the cliff that he is reaching. But this doesn't seem to concern him - we are unsure whether he is just naive or simply unaware. The dog at his heels barks at him in warning, and if he does not become more aware of his surroundings soon, he may never see all the adventures that he dreams of fulfilling.

14. Kajam (Knight of Wands) FIRE of FIRE
King of Wands: FIRE of FIRE
(November 12 to December 12)
Scorpio (3rd Decan) to Sagittarius (2nd Decan)
FIRE of FIRE
7-Debauch "Venus" - Hercules (The Warrior / The Barbarian) - Cups (Scorpio)
8-Swiftness "Mercury" - Lyra (The Harp / The Lyre and the 9 Muses) - Wands (Sagittarius)
9-Strength "Moon" - Ara (The Altar) - Wands (Sagittarius)
Positive Attributes: leadership, vision, big picture, taking control, daring decisions, boldness, optimism.
Negative Attributes: forceful, domineering, tyrant, vicious, powerless, ineffective, weak leader.
The man represented by the King of Wands will be a loving and open-hearted person, with a strong sense of morality and a great sense of humour. He will be active, energetic and willing to help. You often find these types of men in the healing professions, or in other areas where they are required to assist, guide and support others.
He's a man with a deep respect for life and all living things, attuned to Nature and to the creatures of the earth. He has a deep well of compassion which spills over readily to anyone who needs his help, but he also has the restraint to know when too much assistance is a bad thing. Then he will act to enable and empower, rather than to assisting.
He's a faithful, and dedicated family man, being fully engaged in the domestic situation. His life reflects his high ethical standards, though he is not given to sermonising, nor standing in judgement on others. He could be defined as an idealistic realist - accepting the frailties of the race, whilst doing his best to strengthen it.
The meaning of the King of Wands represents pure energy. Unlike the other wands cards in the deck however, this particular one is not focused on pure creativity. Instead, this king is actually way more likely to take an idea and to decisively implement it himself. The King of Wands is a natural born leader of people, and he is also extremely capable. Once the king sets for himself a certain aim or a goal, he is going to conveniently stick to it in order to ensure that it becomes a reality.
In certain cards, the King of Wands depicts a man who has in his hands a blossoming wand, which is set to represent creativity and life's passion. His throne, as well as his cape, are decorated with the salamander and the lion, which are symbols of fire and strength. The salamander that is biting his tail represents the infinity as well as the overall drive to move through all obstacles. The robe is bright and orange resembling a flame, while the crown is shaped like a tongue of fire. Let’s go ahead and take a deeper look at the symbolism behind the King of Wands.

14. Capella (Knight of Swords) FIRE of AIR
King of Swords: FIRE of AIR
(May 11 to June 10)
Taurus (3rd Decan) to Gemini (2nd Decan)
FIRE of AIR
7-Failure "Saturn" - Auriga (The Charioteer) - Earth (Taurus)
8-Interference "Jupiter" - Lepus (The Hare / The Rabbit) - Air (Gemini)
9-Cruelty "Mars" - Canis Major (The Big Dog) - Air (Gemini)
Positive Attributes: reason, authority, discipline, integrity, morality, serious, high standards, strict.
Negative Attributes: irrational, dictator, oppressive, inhumane, controlling, cold, ruthless, dishonest.
When the King of Swords comes up to indicate a man, he will be intelligent, subtle and clever. His capacity for abstract thought will be well developed. He is also highly intuitive and perceptive.
His nature will be elusive and ethereal, yet he has a strength and fascination that is hard to deny. He compels attention, except when he doesn't want it, and at those times you will not even notice him pass by.
Because of the enquiring and analytic nature of his mind, you will often find him involved in occult study, and following spiritual pursuits. Whilst tolerant of those who know less than him, he will not divulge his knowledge easily. Rather those who wish to learn from him must fight to see him clearly, rather than falling for the projections he readily casts around him.
The King of Swords appearing in a reading suggests that you should remain objective in your current situation - you must establish truth by sticking to the facts. The King of Swords and his intellectual power implies that you will need to use your intellect to make your point known and attain your goals. Besides your experience and education, you should be sharp and observant, to see deeply into problems that come your way.
In certain cards, the King of Swords tarot card shows a king who sits on his throne while holding a double-edged sword that points upwards in his right hand. The King of Swords radiates intellectual power, clear thinking, truth, and authority. He understands that power holds great responsibility.
The blue tunic that the king wears is a symbol of his spiritual understanding. The butterflies on the back of his throne are indicative of transformation

14. Algorab (Knight of Disks) FIRE of EARTH
King of Disks: FIRE of EARTH
(August 12 to September 11)
Leo (3rd Decan) to Virgo (2nd Decan)
FIRE of EARTH
7-Valour "Mars" - Corvus (The Crow) - Wands (Leo)
8-Prudence "Sun" - Coma Berenices (Christ's Hair / Little Christ) - Earth (Virgo)
9-Gain "Venus" Centaurus (The Centaurs) - Earth (Virgo)
Positive Attributes: abundance, prosperity, security, ambitious, safe, kind, patriarchal, protective, businessman, provider, sensual, reliable.
Negative Attributes: greed, materialistic, wasteful, chauvanist, poor financial decisions, gambler, exploitative, possessive.
With the King of Disks we see a man who is deeply committed to practical matters in life - work, career, home and family are his major spheres of influence. He is diligent, hard-working and pays great attention to detail.
His progress in life is a steady, sure development of ongoing projects, which he works through with great industriousness and perseverance. Not for him, risky schemes, nor extravagant business deals. He moves with caution and circumspection, consolidating each step forward before taking the next one.
When we meet the King of Pentacles, we feel immediately his regal and generous presence. He is a provider and a protector, for under his care is a flourishing and abundant kingdom where its citizens are prosperous and encouraged to grow. He is naturally responsible and reliable, and through the wisdom granted to him by his suit, he has grown all that he has acquired from practically nothing. To see him in the cards is to envision success - one that was won by earnest work.
In certain cards, the King of Pentacles refers to a man of high ambition, materialistic satisfaction, and worldly success. The King of Pentacles is sitting on a throne that is adorned with vines and bull carvings, and the robe that he is wearing is embroidered with many images of grapevines. He looks sophisticated and regal. He is also surrounded by different types of plants, vines, and flowers which depicts this king’s attainment of materialistic success. He holds a scepter in his right hand and the coin with a pentacles engraved on it in his left hand. The castle can be seen behind him, which is a symbol of his determination and effort.

14. Albireo (Knight of Cups) FIRE of WATER
King of Cups: FIRE of WATER
(February 9 to March 10)
Aquarius (3rd Decan) to Pisces (2nd Decan)
FIRE of WATER
7-Futility "Moon" - Cygnus (The Swan) - Air (Aquarius)
8-Indolence "Saturn" - Cepheus (The King) - Cups (Pisces)
9-Happiness "Jupiter" - Andromeda (The Princess) - Cups (Pisces)
Positive Attributes: wise, diplomatic, balance between head and heart, devoted, advisor, counsellor.
Negative Attributes: overwhelmed, anxious, cold, repressed, withdrawn, manipulative, selfish.
This is the Lord of Waves and Water, often defined as the fiery aspect of water. As such, in many ways this card represents a contradiction. Most often when it appears, it will indicate an actual person who has influence. However sometimes it can also indicate a moodshift or a change of mode.
Since the Suit of Cups is all about love and loving relationships, it's easy to see how the Knight can be regarded as the lover of the cards. When representing a moodshift, the card can indicate the period where a man falls in love.
When it represents a person he will be a complex and highly emotional being - creative and visionary, sensitive (and sometimes over-sensitive), romantic and intense. He will give the impression of being open and caring, though this is often misleading; the King Cups is often subject to intense insecurity, needing constant re-assurance and attention.
The King of Cups is one of the most influential cards in the suit of Cups. He represents creativity, emotion, and the unconscious. The card shows the ability to restrain one's emotions and be fully in charge of your feelings and impulses. Therefore, the King of Cups represents a balance between the intellect and emotions. He indicates that there is a strong relationship between understanding and feeling.
In certain cards, the King of Cups is a card in the tarot that shows generosity, control, and emotional balance. The card itself depicts a king seated on a throne, who has an amulet that is shaped like a fish. The fish in his necklace represents his creativity and spirit, which thrives on the calm waters that surround him. We can see from the background that there is a steady balance between the conscious and unconscious.
Behind the king, there is a fish jumping out of the ocean on the right side, and a ship on the left side, representative of the emotional and material worlds respectively. The King of Cups shows that you do not suppress your impulses, but have learned to deal with them in a balanced manner.

13. Navi (Queen of Wands) WATER of FIRE
Queen of Wands : WATER of FIRE
(March 11 to April 20)
Pisces (3rd Decan) to Aries (2nd Decan)
WATER of FIRE
10-Satiety "Mars" - Cassiopeia (The Queen) - Cups (Pisces)
2-Dominion "Mars" - Triangulum (The Trinity) - Wands (Aries)
3-Virtue "Sun" - Perceus (The Hero / The Savior) - Wands (Aries)
Positive Attributes: confident, self-assured, passionate, determined, social, charismatic, vivacious, optimistic.
Negative Attributes: demanding, vengeful, low confidence, jealous, selfish, temperamental, bully.
As a suit, Wands are direct, determined and connected to Will and its appropriate application. The Queen of Wands represents a woman who knows exactly what she wants out of life, and aims at her goals with great dedication.
She is often a woman who has experienced conflict and trauma, and learned from these. She's usually independent, forthright and self-motivated. As a friend she will be loyal and honest, though sometimes given to handing out unwelcome advice, and taking over.
As a parent she can be quite dominant, claiming that she wants her off spring to be self-reliant and confident, but sometimes tending to become impatient, and do things on their behalf in her own way, rather than allowing her children to make up their own minds.
In general, the Queen of wands in a reading meaning may depict a person of extreme focus and fiery passion. She is courageous and individualistic, though at times she may appear self-centered. They have a positive and an uplifting energy; they represent someone who is willing to be by your side and stand up for you.
In certain cards, The image depicted in the Queen of Wand shows a queen sitting proudly on a throne while facing forwards which is a clear symbol of strength and fire. She is holding a sunflower in her left hand, and the image of the sunflowers are also carved on the throne - meaning happiness, satisfaction, and fertility. In her right hand, she is holding her wand which is starting to blossom, and symbolizes life. In her positive aspects, the Queen of Wands can be associated with fidelity, sustenance, and warmth. Her hidden side is hinted at with the placement of the black cat at her feet, which is traditionally a symbol of witchcraft and occultism, but can also point at her ability to grasp with her deep intuition.

13. Arcturus (Queen of Swords) WATER of AIR
Queen of Swords: WATER of AIR
(September 12 to October 12)
Virgo (3rd Decan) to Libra (2nd Decan)
WATER of AIR
10-Wealth "Mercury"- Bootes (The Farmer) - Earth (Virgo)
2-Peace " Moon" - Crux (The Cross / The Crucifix) - Air (Libra)
3-Sorrow "Saturn" - Lupus (The Wolf) - Air (Libra)
Positive Attributes: honest, independent, principled, fair, constructive criticism, objective, perceptive.
Negative Attributes: pessimistic, malicious, manipulative, harsh, bitter, spiteful, cruel, deceitful, unforgiving.
The Queen of Swords indicates a woman who is blessed (or cursed) with sharp perception, and highly honed intuition. She is acutely analytical, with a razor-sharp ability to get to the heart of a situation, seeing exactly what is, rather than what others would wish her to see.
She is a private woman, unwilling to let people too close to her until she is satisfied she thoroughly understands their motivations. But once won as a friend, she is unfailingly loyal, honest and supportive.
She's usually very intelligent, with a dry sense of humour. Her penetrating insight will often reveal aspects of themselves to others that they had previously been unable to grasp - thus she is a capable therapist, teacher or leader.
The Queen of Swords is an archetype of an older, wiser feminine intellect. She could be thought of as the most masculine of the all the queens, and may come off as quite stern and emotionless. This card represents the importance of making judgments without relying on emotion alone. The Queen of Swords beckons you to look at all the facts before making a decision. This queen does have compassion, which is why she has her hand reaching outwards in offering, but she wants to connect to people using an understanding that is intellectual.
In certain cards, the Queen of Swords wears a stern look as she sits high on the throne - looking off into the distance. A queen of the air element that the swords represents, her place in the clouds shows that no one can trick or fool her. The sword in her right hand is pointed towards the sky, whereas the left hand is extended like it is offering something. The Queen of Swords gives us the gift of judgment for everyday decisions and having the flexibility to take in knowledge from others

13. Thuban (Queen of Disks) WATER of EARTH
Queen of Disks : WATER of EARTH
(December 13 to January 9)
Sagittarius (3rd Decan) to Capricorn (2nd Decan)
WATER of EARTH
10-Oppression "Saturn" - Draco (The Dragon) - Wands (Sagittarius)
2-Change "Jupiter" - Sagitta (The Arrow) - Earth (Capricorn)
3-Works "Mars" - Aquila (The Eagle) - Earth (Capricorn)
Positive Attributes: generous, caring, nurturing, homebody, good business sense, practical, comforting, welcoming, sensible, luxurious.
Negative Attributes: selfish, unkempt, jealous, insecure, greedy, materialistic, gold digger, intolerant, self-absorbed, envious.
As the Queen of the Suit most connected to the home environment, families, materiality and fecundity, the woman represented by the Queen of Disks will most likely be a person whose attention centres upon the family environment. Here, she will excel, gaining a great deal of pleasure from providing a secure haven where she and others can feel cosseted and cared for.
In modern times the qualities for which this Queen stands have tended to be devalued and downgraded ('I'm only a housewife'). This causes difficulties for the woman who feels most fulfilled expending her energies in a home situation, working with her family and a close circle of friends.
The Queen of Pentacles represents both a down-to-earth woman who plays many roles to ensure that she keeps her family happy. She knows how and when to show love - keeping an orderly home, cooking comforting meals and takes care of the children. But do not mistake her for being only a homebody - alongside all these motherly attributes, she can plan business ventures and execute her plans successfully. It is through her naturally talented business sense that she is surrounded by such luxury. She is quiet and does not like disclosing her financial accounts, fearing that it could bring more complexity to her life, which she desires to keep rather simple. She may have a secret bank account that nobody knows about - for she may choose to be careful, vigilant and self-sufficient.
In certain cards, the Queen of Pentacles card depicts a beautiful woman sitting on a decorated throne holding a golden coin. Surrounding her are beautiful blossoming trees and green floral gardens. Her throne is decorated with various beasts of the earth, tying her closely with nature and abundance. At the bottom of the card, on the right-hand side, a rabbit is pouncing into the frame, which symbolizes her high energy and fertility. The Queen of Pentacles, therefore, depicts a certain level of success and prosperity. But the rabbit at the bottom cautions us that we should be careful of where we leap when we are chasing that success.

13. Gomeisa (Queen of Cups) WATER of WATER
Queen of Cups: WATER of WATER
(June 11 to July 11)
Gemini (3rd Decan) to Cancer (2nd Decan)
WATER of WATER
10-Ruin "Sun" - Canis Minor (The Small Dog) - Air (Gemini)
2-Love "Venus" - Ursa Minor (The Little Bear / The Little Dipper) - Cups (Cancer)
3-Abundance "Mercury" - Ursa Major (The Big Bear / The Big Dipper) - Cups (Cancer)
Positive Attributes: compassion, warmth, kindness, intuition, healer, counsellor, supportive.
Negative Attributes: insecurity, giving too much, overly-sensitive, needy, fragile, dependence, martyrdom
If the Queen of Cups appears in a reading to indicate a woman, she will be a gentle and tranquil woman, romantic by nature, generous with her tenderness. She will be something of a day-dreamer - perhaps a bit unrealistic, but creative and hopeful.
She is often involved in creative or literary pursuits, and enjoys art, good music, literature and things of beauty. She is unstinting in her readiness to nurture others, sometimes to her own detriment. She's often connected with motherhood, and mothering.
She is often intuitive, and psychic. Her foremost ability in this area is a talent for simply absorbing energies around her and reflecting them back, unchanged. In this aspect she can often be a revealer for those around her.
We can understand the meaning of the Queen of Cups from taking a closer look at the woman in image. She is seen as compassionate, caring, sensitive, and nurturing. She connects with people on the emotional level, so people enjoy her honesty and fairness. The appearance of the Queen of Cups in a reading can be guiding you to find help from others. Most times, like the other queens, this is a female figure that will come into your life.
The Queen of Cups has an intuition which is very powerful, and is only rivaled by the one of the High Priestess. The Queen of Cups acts as a mirror and reflects the depths present in others, so they see themselves in a new light. Most times, the Queen of Cups can also represent the trusted inner voice you have within you. She seems to say that you should take the time to focus on your emotional health before trying to help others. Self-love creates compassion.
In certain cards, the Queen of Cups rules the emotional realm. She is the woman whose throne is right on the ocean’s edge, and water is typically symbolic of the unconscious and feeling. Her position at the shore indicates that she lies between land and sea, the place where feeling and thought exist. She holds a cup that has handles shaped like an angel. This cup is closed, which is why the Queen of Cups symbolizes the thoughts that come with our unconscious mind. The queen sits alone, which allows her to think. The calmness of the water and the sky symbolizes the serene mind of the queen. Her feet are not touching the water, which stands for her looking at her thoughts and feelings from the outside.

12. Tseen Kee (Prince of Wands) AIR of FIRE
Prince of Wands: AIR of FIRE
(July 12 to August 11)
Aries (3rd Decan) to Taurus (2nd Decan)
AIR of EARTH
4-Luxury "Moon" - Argo Vela (The Ship / The Boat and the Arc) - Cups (Cancer)
5-Strife "Saturn" - Hydra (The Sea-See Serpent / Polyp) - Wands (Leo)
6-Victory "Jupiter" - Crater (The Chalice / The Cup) - Wands (Leo)
Positive Attributes: courageous, energetic, charming, hero, rebellious, hot tempered, free spirit.
Negative Attributes: arrogant, reckless, impatient, lack of self control, passive, volatile, domineering.
The person represented by the Prince of Wands will be an active, energetic person, with a warm and generous heart, and a good sense of humour. He will have a natural and infectious optimism about him, tackling every aspect of his life with enthusiasm and vigour.
He will be friendly, gregarious and open in his attitudes, possessed with a very healthy sense of his own value, but also supportive and encouraging to others. You'll often come across him in working areas where healing, encouragement and development are involved.
The apparently easy-going happy-go lucky exterior conceals a deeply rooted moral sense. At his best he typifies the 'shining white knight' principle - always ready to stand up for what is right, and good; willing to fight to protect those who are more vulnerable than himself.
The Prince of Wands' symbolism is straightforward. When it appears, it means a great time to get away and travel. The person should feel charged up and full of life. One is also ready to get things done. He is adventurous and can find fun things to do no matter where he is. There is never a dull moment when the Prince of Wands is around. When the Prince of Wands shows up in a reading it seems to suggest that the seeker wants to complete important tasks. One wants to impress others with one’s knowledge and skill. The card also shows up when the person is planning to move to another place of residence
In certain cards, the Prince of Wands is seen on his horse that is reared up and ready for action. Judging from the Prince’s clothes and armor, as well as his horse, he is prepared for what’s ahead. He is wearing a yellow patterned shirt on top of his metal armor. He is also wearing an armor helmet with red plume sticking out of it. He seems to be ready for battle, except he is holding a large wand instead of a sword. His horse is orange in color and has a mane that looks like flames. When you look at the Prince of Wands' face, you’ll see the determination of wanting to be successful in his endeavor. Fire is a dominate factor in the Prince of Wands' symbolism. The decorative tassels hanging from his arms and back, as well as the horse’s mane, are all in the color of flame. He is also wearing a yellow shirt printed with the fiery salamander symbol

12. Rotanev (Prince of Swords) AIR of AIR
Prince of Swords: AIR of AIR
(January 10 to February 18)
Capricorn (3rd Decan) to Aquarius (2nd Decan)
AIR of AIR
4-Power "Sun" - Delphinus (The Dolphin / The Oracle of Delphi) - Earth (Capricorn)
5-Defeat "Venus" - Pisces Austrinus (The Southern Fish) - Air (Aquarius)
6-Science "Mercury" - Pegasus (The Winged Horse) - Air (Aquarius)
Positive Attributes: assertive, direct, impatient, intellectual, daring, focused, perfectionist, ambitious.
Negative Attributes: rude, tactless, forceful, bully, aggressive, vicious, ruthless, arrogant.
One of the most common interpretation of this card is that it represents a dangerous or treacherous man - which, IMHO, is a very superficial way of looking at a Court card.
Certainly this Prince can be sly, dishonest and untrustworthy - but only when badly dignified by the cards around him. The card can also sometimes come up to mark a person who is angry, or vengeful.
But the pure Prince of Swords type is a highly intellectual and usually well-educated person, with a rapid fire mind and a great capacity for abstract thinking. He produces ideas with astonishing speed, but often moves on too quickly to follow through or elaborate on them. He can be challenging, entertaining, stimulating - and completely exhausting!
When we are thoroughly obsessed by a certain idea and strongly wish to manifest it, we are oftentimes so blinded by the actual desire for its fulfillment that we fail to note the difficulties which we may come across, or the actions and consequences that it could bring. The prince of Swords is a very powerful figure that is full of life as well as energy. This needs to be balanced with a proper and actual realization of compassion and responsibility.
In certain cards, the Prince of Swords card depicts a young man who is dressed in his armor and rides a strong white horse into the midst of a battle. The white color of his horse is a reference to the overall purity and intellectual energy which motivates this young rider. The sky behind him holds stormy clouds as well as trees which are tossed wildly around by the strong winds. The horse’s harness is also decorated with images of birds and butterflies. The cape of the knight is also decorated with those same birds.

12. Algol (Prince of Disks) AIR of EARTH
Prince of Disks: AIR of EARTH
(April 11 to May 10)
Aries (3rd Decan) to Taurus (2nd Decan)
AIR of EARTH
4-Completion "Venus" - Perseus (The Hero / The Savior) - Wands (Aries)
5-Worry "Mercury" - Orion (The Hunter) - Earth (Taurus)
6-Success "Moon" - Eridanus (The River / Spinal Fluid / Jordan River) - Earth (Taurus)
Positive Attributes: practical, reliable, efficient, stoic, slow and steady, hard-working, committed, patient, conservative.
Negative Attributes: workaholic, laziness, dull, boring, no initiative, cheap, irresponsible, gambler, risky investments.
The man represented by the Prince of Disks is a quiet and meditative man, who works with unfailing determination towards the goals he sets himself. He is reliable and resourceful, unswerving and creative in his dedication.
He is more imaginative than the Knight of Disks, though he has the same quiet strength and gentleness. His quality of contemplation often yields fruit in surprising ways, generating a deep and broad-sweeping understanding about the inner workings of life.
If he is ill-dignified, the Prince of Disks can become stubborn and short-sighted - even bloody-minded in his attitudes. Faithful and loyal himself, he will not tolerate faithlessness in others. Neither will he accept lack of integrity, nor dishonesty.
He is hard-working, trustworthy and inventive, often producing unusual yet practical solutions which resolve otherwise intractable problems. As a friend he is non-judgemental and supportive, though capable of shedding new perspectives on situations. He's generally a good listener, though he has little patience with histrionics and manipulation.
The Prince of Pentacles is about the daily tasks and the responsibility that one has to gain through a specific project. This prince has the patience to accomplish all his given duties and is considered by others reliable and committed to his work. To see this card is an indication that there is a need to be trustworthy and reliable.
In certain cards, much like the other court cards of this suit, the Prince of Pentacles revolves around work, effort, and a general responsibility. The Prince of Pentacles sits on a dark horse in a field. Unlike the other Princes, who are always off on one adventure or another, this prince decides to stay home, and instead, focus on tilling the fields. He prepares for the next harvest - it is on this land that he believes that he can do the most. In his hands, he has a single gold coin. He gazes into it, and in his eyes we see a careful consideration. Perhaps he is dreaming of what it could bring him. The other knights may think he's a little boring, but this knight is more concerned about the long term future of his kingdom.

12. Alphecca (Prince of Cups) AIR of WATER
Prince of Cups: AIR of WATER
(October 13 to November 11)
Libra (3rd Decan) to Scorpio (2nd Decan)
AIR of WATER
4-Truce "Jupiter" - Corona Borealis (The Northern Crown) - AIR (Libra)
5-Disappointment "Mars" - Serpens (The Serpent / The Snake) - Cups (Scorpio)
6-Pleasure "Sun" - Ophiuchus (The Healer / The Medicine Man) - Cups (Scorpio)
Positive Attributes: idealist, charming, artistic, graceful, tactful, diplomatic, mediator, negotiator.
Negative Attributes: disappointment, tantrums, moodiness, turmoil, avoiding conflict, vanity.
Men represented by this card are complex and powerful beings. They are self-contained - even secretive - giving an impression of calmness and serenity. However under that veneer they can often be intense and volatile. They tend to hide their deepest passions, and to protect them fiercely.
They are often creative - artistically or musically inclined, and have deep involvement in these areas. Many of the more successful artists and musicians in our lives would come up as a Prince of Cups.
Emotionally they can sometimes be turbulent and moody, but can also often hide their emotions and refuse to share them with others. However, having a highly developed sensitivity to emotional ups and downs, they will identify yours even before you have. Talking to somebody like this about emotional matters is usually a rewarding experience, because they are highly perceptive and use their intuition readily.
The truth is that the Knight of Cups is the most feminine amongst all the Prince cards in the tarot. It's important to note though, that this doesn’t even slightly suggest that he is any less of a worthy Prince. It implies that he is in proper touch with his emotions and his intuition, and that he uses them for his own well-being and during his many romance and seduction quests. He is usually quite attractive and charming to others, regardless of their gender.
When faced with an actual decision, the Prince of Cups is going to listen to his heart, regardless of whether this is actually a logical choice or not. He can also manifest as an event or a person in your life, or a part of your own self. He appears as a messenger – and with him, he carries an invitation or an arrival of something or someone which is going to have a certain emotional benefit for you. As a Prince, he is also charged with taking the gifts of his suit, and bringing it outward into the world. He therefore can also represent the undertaking of some project with significant emotional or creative value for you.
In certain cards, the Prince of Cups is a card which depicts a young Prince who is gloriously riding a white horse while at the same time holding a cup as if he is a messenger of a certain sort. Unlike the prince of Wands or the prince of Swords, this particular one isn’t charging along with his horse. He is instead moving slowly forward which provides the entire setting an overall impression of peace and calmness. The horse is known to represent one's drive, energy, and power. The horse's color is white, which is a well-known symbol of spirituality, light, and purity.

11. Regulus (Princess of Wands) EARTH of FIRE
Princess of Wands: EARTH of FIRE
June 21 (SUMMER Solstice) to September 22 (FALL/AUTUNM Equinox)
Astrology: FALL (+ +)
EARTH of EARTH
2-Love "Venus" - Ursa Minor (The Little Bear / The Little Dipper) - Cups (Cancer)
3-Abundance "Mercury" - Ursa Major (The Big Bear / The Big Dipper) - Cups (Cancer)
4-Luxury "Moon" - Argo Vela (The Ship / The Brat and the Arc) - Cups (Cancer)
5-Strife "Saturn" - Hydra (The Sea-See Monster / Polyp)) - Wands (Leo)
6-Victory "Jupiter" - Crater (The Chalice / The Cups) - Wands (Leo)

9-Gain "Venus" - Centaurus (The Centaurs) - Earth (Virgo)
10-Wealth "Mercury" - Bootes (The Farmer) - Earth (Virgo)
Positive Attributes: adventure, excitement, fresh ideas, cheerfulness, energetic, fearless, extroverted.
Negative Attributes: hasty, impatient, lacking ideas, tantrums, laziness, boring, unreliable, distracted.
The Princess of Wands represents dynamic passion - for life in general. If it comes up relating to an inner energy then it will indicate that you are overcoming old fears, breaking out of old patterns, and setting yourself free. There will be confidence, decisive action, an assertive leap forward into the heart of your life. It will often come up to indicate that you have broken through habitual limitations and restrictions, thereby freeing off your power to be used constructively.
When we see the Page of Wands, we see a youth with enormous excitement and curiosity for the world. He knows what to do, he has the passion to succeed, but due to his inexperience and maybe a little fear of the unknown, his ideas remain abstract. He identifies new worlds to explore, new opportunities he could take advantage of quite easily, and he is even gifted with the "big picture" vision needed to succeed. Even with all of this, he still has the tendency to either remain dormant, or get easily distracted with one idea after the other. If he doesn't learn to control this, it might be that he squanders the opportunities to advance himself.
In certain decks, A well-dressed young man is boldly holding a stick standing on a barren land. His shirt is made in a salamander like pattern which is a symbol of transformation from bad to good. This young man is a passionate advocator, who is constantly spreading spiritual and social advancement ideas that lift up his fellow man. The desert in the background behind him both is indicative of his element, fire, and also represents that he is living in a world that has not bared fruit yet. His ideas are therefore completely hypothetical. However, if he were to choose to use them, and undertake the journey of his suit, his purity of heart could lead him to find better fortunes.

11. Albali (Princess of Swords) EARTH of AIR
Princess of Swords: EARTH of AIR
December 22 (WINTER Solstice) to March 20 (SPRING Equinox)
Astrology: FALL (- -)
EARTH of AIR
2-Change "Jupiter" - Sagitta (The Arrow) - Disks (Capricorn)
3-Works "Mars" - Aquila (The Eagle) - Disks (Capricorn)
4-Power "Sun" - Delphinus (The Oracle of Delphi / The Dolphin) - Disks (Capricorn)

9-Happiness "`Jupiter" - Andromeda (The Princess) - Cups (Pisces)
10-Satiety "Mars" - Cassiopeia (The Queen) - Cups (Pisces)
Positive Attributes: curious, witty, chatty, communicative, inspired, vigilant, alert, mental agility.
Negative Attributes: scatterbrained, cynical, sarcastic, gossipy, insulting, rude, lack of planning.
The Princess of Swords is intellectually inclined, perceptive and intuitive. She is, again, a keen observer, who brings clarity and insight to situations in which she is involved. She is a forceful and self-determining young woman who ill-tolerates injustice, weakness and manipulation. She is probably not as secretive nor as hidden as some of the other Sword people - in fact, she tends to express her insight quite forcibly at times.
She has the same qualities as a keen observer of life, and people, that we see in the other Sword Courts. She's also a skilled arbitrator, having extensive negotiating skills and a ruthless cutting edge.
This card is another of those that has quite a bad reputation with some Tarot commentators - maybe because of her tendency to tell things as she sees them regardless of the consequences. Yet, unless she is badly dignified, the woman represented by this card will usually be honest, and frank.
Bright and alert, the Page of Swords is someone who never seems to run out of ideas. She is curious, always asking questions, and gifted with a sharp tongue and quick wit to match. Her aptitude for language also makes her an incredible communicator, and with her love of ideas, you may find her always engaged in some passionate debate
In certain decks, the Page of Swords card is representative of a person in one's life who shows an abundance of energy. With wind-blown trees, turbulent clouds and the their tossed hair, a youth stands proudly on a rocky precipice. This energetic youth has a sword in her hands. Her expression is one of determination, and perhaps a little bit of defiance - she seems ready to pounce at the slightest word.

11. Alcyon (Princess of Disks) EARTH of EARTH
Princess of Disks: EARTH of EARTH
March 21 (SPRING Equinox) to June 20 (SUMMER Solstice)
Astrology: FALL (- +)
EARTH of EARTH
2-Dominion "Mars" - Triangulum (The Trinity) - Wands (Aries)
3-Virtue "Sun" - Cetus (The Fetus / The Sea-see Monster) - Wands (Aries)
4-Completion "Venus" - Perseus (The Hero / The Savior) - Wands (Aries)

9-Cruelty "`Mars" - Canis Major (The Big Dog) - Air (Gemini)
10-Ruin "Sun" - Canis Minor (The Little Dog) - Air (Gemini)
Positive Attributes: ambitious, diligent, goal oriented, planner, consistent, star student, studious, grounded, loyal, faithful, dependable.
Negative Attributes: foolish, immature, irresponsible, lazy, underachiever, procrastinator, missed chances, poor prospects.
The Princess of Disks would be a quiet, reserved person - sometimes shy. She will be practical and capable, though rarely seeking the limelight. I used to know a stage manager who always came up as a Princess of Disks - she loved the glitz of the theatre as long as she could stay behind the scenes - having, of course, created them first!
She's a gentle person who, like the Queen of Disks, is much concerned with domestic matters, and with Nature and growth. As a result, sometimes when this card comes up we may be looking at somebody who is expecting a child. The Princess of Cups often represents conception, the Princess of Disks shows the pregnancy and the Ace of Wands will then indicate the birth.
The Princess of Disks woman is a reliable and diligent person, trustworthy and hard-working. She is faithful by nature, and deals badly with conflict. She likes life to unfolds in an ordered fashion. In fact, she contemplates life very thoroughly, being sensitive to the needs of others, and sympathetic to their feelings.
When we meet the Page of Pentacles, we see immediately that she is one that is ambitious and focused. She is protected, nourished, provided for by the suit whose name she bears. Guided by it, she is deeply tied to the earth, nature, and all of its gifts. She cherishes the body, for it too is something which is a manifestation of her element. Her diligence, ambition and loyalty drives her to quickly make plans for the future - for it is there where her focus lies.
In certain decks, the Page of Pentacles card depicts a youth standing all by himself in a wide field surrounded by flowers. In the background, you will also notice several lush trees and a furrowed field. The young man seems to be walking in a slow manner and appears unaware of his surroundings, for his attention is completely captured by the coin he is holding, and all that it represents: ambition, security, wealth, nature, and sensuality. The Page of Pentacles symbolizes a person who is grounded, loyal and diligent

Negative Attributes: emotional vulnerability, immaturity, neglecting inner child, escapism, insecurity.
The Princess of Cups is a dreamer....and in the Thoth deck we see her dancing her dreams into manifestation, thus revealing one of her more secret aspects. This card represents the earthy part of water......where dreams can become reality.
On the day that I wrote the commentary for working with this card, it came after the 9 of Cups, which you will remember, is the Wish Card.....that seemed to me to make for a very auspicious and important set of circumstances. At that time, I had written up the details on 56 out of the 78 cards.....the fact that the Wish Card was followed by this one concentrated my attention on her remarkable ability to make dreams come true.
One of the most important meanings within the Page of Cups is that you should be open to new ideas, especially ones that stem from intuitive inspiration. The card seems to state that such inspiration should be embraced, despite it being something that you may not expect. It could lead you to adventure and open many doors. If it is a calling of a creative nature, for example, one to get into music or art, there's an especially strong push from this card to go for it.
When you are being faced by difficult situations, and you have stopped chasing your dreams, the Page of Cups seems to say that you that you should tackle the issue from a totally different perspective. It symbolizes persistence as this is the only way that you can make your dreams come true. Listen to your intuition, follow your calling, and believe everything is possible.
In certain decks, a youth at the seashore wears a blue tunic adorned with floral prints, and holds a golden cup. She also wears a beret that looks quite bohemian, and a long flowing scarf. She is surprised by a fish that pops out of the cup, as if to greet her from a fairytale. She can neither drink nor toast with the cup as the fish stares at her and seemingly tries to engage with her.

10. Arrakis (Ten of Wands) OPPRESSION
10 of Wands: OPPRESSION (December 13 to December 21)
Astrology Sign: SAGITTARIUS (3rd Decan) Degree 20 - 29
Ruler of Card: SATURN
Constellation DRACO (The Dragon)
DRACO / DRACula / DRAG / DARCO / DRAGon / DRAConian / DRAC reversed CARD
Chosen Star: ARRAKIS (Means: The Dancer)
Anatomy: SAGITTARIUS rules the HIPS / LIVER / THIGHS / HIPPOCAMPUS / HYPOTHALAMUS
SAGITTARIUS = SAG (Quick Witted, Wise) GIT (Nigella Sativa / Black Cummin) TAR (Resin / Gum) RIUS (River / Stream)
Positive Attributes: burden, responsibility, duty, stress, obligation, burning out, struggles.
Negative Attributes: failure to delegate, shouldering too much responsibility, collapse, breakdown.
Lord of Oppression is a hard card to come to grips with, for it indicates blocked or thwarted Will. We want something badly, and yet we seem to stand no chance of getting it. We feel frustrated, irritable and disappointed.
If a situation marked by the 10 of Wands goes on for too long, we will begin to feel trapped and deeply unhappy. We will begin to lose faith in ourselves, and our abilities to make our lives into what we want.
There are a couple of things to bear in mind if the influence of the Lord of Oppression is a fairly fleeting one - sometimes we have to wait for the right moment to get our heart's desire.
This card shows that you have already completed the circle of struggle. After spending too many resources and lots of energy looking for success, you have finally overcome the obstacles. The sweat off your brow was worth it - your efforts have finally been rewarded. You may find yourself living in a world of abundance where poverty and suffering have no chance to intervene.
Although it sounds marvelous and satisfying, the card depicts a lot of responsibilities on your side. You are now the sole problem solver in your circle of family and friends which could even propel you into another world of challenges. At this point, you are also flooded with responsibilities to maintain your success. The businesses that you have started are flourishing and keeping you on your toes. The main problem is that these issues could overwhelm you if you lose control, which requires you to make sure that you know how to prioritize and solve the relevant ones.
In certain decks, A man is shown carrying a heavy burden of wood, in the form of ten bundled wands, approaching a town which is not too far. This image on the ten of wands indicates a person who has already struggled in life and has succeeded, and he is now carrying the harvests to his final destination. Although he is not near the destination, it shows that he has finished the hardest part of life struggle and he just needs a place to relax and revel in his success.
The Tarot Experience is a Project linking Organic and Electronic Music with the Tarot Cards Energies. Iv'e created Image Videos to play along with my Music to connect dots within the wonderful World of Astro-Theology and Syncretism "The Holy Sciences". I have created the full Tarot Deck, 78 Videos/Songs, to help connect dots from the Stars to your Body to the way certain energies may manifests.

10. Merga (Ten of Disks) WEALTH
10 of Disks: WEALTH (September 12 to September 22)
Astrology Sign: VIRGO (3rd Decan) Degree 20 - 29
Ruler of Card: MERCURY
Constellation BOOTES (The Farmer)
Chosen Star: MERGA (Means: The Chained Woman)
MERGA = MER (Mere / Sea / Ocean) GA (To Plunge / Body) MERGE-Alpha
Anatomy: VIRGO rules the DIGESTIVE TRACTS and the COLON and INTESTINES, The WOMB
VIRGO = VIERGE / PURE
Positive Attributes: legacy, roots, family, ancestry, inheritance, windfall, foundations, privilege, affluence, stability, tradition.
Negative Attributes: family disputes, bankruptcy, debt, fleeting success, conflict over money, instability, breaking traditions.
Lord of Wealth talks not only about material wealth and its appropriate use, but about the inner wealth and resources that we all have. This is a card that teaches us that the harvest we gather in our lives is the end result of all that we have put into living - and more importantly, how we have used the riches at our disposal.
We make our own realities with every thought, every deed, every wish. And when we direct our energies positively we shall arrive - as a perfectly natural consequence - at the 10 of Disks. Of course, if we direct our energies negatively we'll find ourselves with the 10 of Wands, or the 10 of Swords - neither of which are happy cards!
There is a warning connected to this card though. When we have created sufficient wealth to make ourselves comfortable and contented, if we have a surplus, then we must make that surplus work. We cannot expect energy to flow freely in our lives if we hoard it, and try to hang on to it. This is as pointless as trying to save up the breeze so that it will blow on a stuffy day! There are some things in life you cannot clutch tight in the hand without crushing their value out of them.
The Ten of Pentacles deals with permanence and satisfaction. The card shows that everything you have put your efforts into for a long time will pay off in the future. It suggests that everything will work out well in the end - for you have always kept the long term picture in view, choosing to take no shortcuts. Your legacy is sure to stand for quite a long time to come. This is a relief, for the path to get here has been filled with setbacks and challenges, making this point of the journey even sweeter
In certain decks, in the Ten of Pentacles card, there is an old man seated in an archway leading into a great estate. It seems he is the head of the family, for he is surrounded by younger loved ones. He wears a robe that is decorated with moon crescents and grapevines - indicating the joining of spirit and matter. He has his family and dogs with him. There is a happy couple in front of him, presumably his children and a playful child behind this couple, his grandchild. The child playfully reaches out to pet the dog.

10. Procyon (Ten of Swords) RUIN
10 of Swords: RUIN (June 11 to June 20)
Astrology Sign: GEMINI (3rd Decan) Degree 20 - 29
Ruler of Card: SUN
Constellation CANIS MINOR (The Small Canine / Dog)
Chosen Star: PROCYON (Means: Before the Dog)
PROCYON = PRO (Master) CY (class magistracy / Sea / See) ON (Top)
Anatomy: GEMINI Rules the LUNGS, ARMS, HANDS, SHOULDERS, INTAKE of OXYGEN
GEMINI = GE (Earth) MINI (Small) / You are the smaller EARTH / HEART /
Positive Attributes: survival, improvement, healing, lessons learned.
Negative Attributes: ruin, failure, bitterness, collapse, exhaustion, dead end, victimization, betrayal, , despair, relapse.
Lord of Ruin, is another of those dive-for-shelter cards that most people hate to see coming up in a reading. And certainly sometimes the card will presage a painful, even devastating event.
But this is not the underlying tenet of the Lord of Ruin. It's the end result of failing to engage with the true message it brings.
You see, the 10 of Swords is about the power in our own minds. The end result of our thoughts, beliefs and aspirations. If we have believed in our worthiness to achieve and attain; if we have struggled to reach the highest limits of our own current spiritual potential; if we have lived in an ethical and fair manner, we will inevitably have attracted joy, happiness and success into our lives.
The Ten of Swords indicate a major disaster of some sort. It shows that a certain force of extreme magnitude has come to hit you in your life - one that you may have not foreseen. There is a sense of betrayal that is indicated here, for the character is stabbed in the back. This seems to be a reminder that despite how much we try, we cannot control everything - there are things that are beyond our ability to change. Here, this situation is unavoidable.
The tale of the suit of swords is a powerful metaphor, one that ends in tragedy. The swords are a symbol of the intellect, of intelligence and logic, and yet we find the final culmination of this suit a complete and total defeat of the spirit. We must realize that the swords are a weapon that can have immense potential for destruction or for good. The story as it unfolds from the ace to the ten is one where an untrained individual uses this weapon for faulty reasons - makes many mistakes, and then spends an entire lifetime attempting to run away from the power that he misused.
In certain decks, the Ten of Swords shows a man lying flat on the ground with his face facing the dirt. He is covered with a red cloth from the chest down to his legs. Ten long swords are stabbed into his back, he may not have seen this end coming. There is a terrible stillness in the air: the sky above him is black and cloudy indicating the fear and negativity associated with death. The waters in front of him are still, with no ripples - adding to the eerie stillness and finality of this card. Looking into the horizon, in the east, the sun is rising, and the weather seems very calm despite the darkness. The Ten of Swords seems to intimate that this is the lowest point in one's life, and it cannot get worse than this.

Astrology Sign: PISCES (3rd Decan) Degree 20 - 29
Ruler of Card: MARS
Constellation CASSIOPEIA (The Queen)

PISCES = PI (3.14159) SCES (SEAS / SEES)
Positive Attributes: happiness, homecomings, fulfillment, emotional stability, security, domestic harmony.
Negative Attributes: unhappy home, separation, domestic conflict, disharmony, isolation.
Lord of Satiety, is a lovely card, indicating that we are full up with contentment and bliss. It is closely connected with the home environment, which is where we should expect a sense of repletion and joy.
When the card comes up, it indicates that life is ordered and fulfilling, that everything is in its proper place, and that things are unfolding as they should. There's a placid sense of happiness here, which should be enjoyed open-heartedly and with a great deal of gratitude.
At the higher spiritual level, this card will often come up to indicate a period of close harmony with the Higher Powers, often after a time of struggle and trial. When this occurs, you will find yourself feeling at one with the Universe, in touch with the energy which flows through it in an unending stream..
From its joyful depiction, we can assume that the Ten of Cups embody happiness, joy, contentment and emotional satisfaction in your family, relationship or companion. It represents an idyllic state of comfort, harmony, peace and love which makes you feel like you are in paradise. This is where all your dreams, wants, needs and wishes have been fulfilled, and you feel a complete sense of satisfaction. Take a moment and breathe, look around you and be thankful for all your blessings. This card signifies something that so many of us are searching for.
In certain decks, on the Ten of Cups, there is a couple holding each other while facing a beautiful house and a green garden. Beside them, there are two children playing joyously. The couple is seen holding each other in a loving and romantic embrace, while the children are freely playing. The couple seems to be in a stable relationship, while also blessed with the abundance of a comfortable home and beautiful children. The green land signifies fertility, and the river shows how freely the feelings of the couple are flowing, meaning that their relationship is quite peaceful. Above in the sky, there are ten cups, shaped in an arc, which are meant to symbolize blessings from heaven. The rainbow behind them shows the end of hard times and sorrows, and a new happy life where each and every one of the family will enjoy. The Ten of Cups card depicts ‘having it all’.

9. Altar (Nine of Wands) STRENGTH
9 of Wands: STRENGTH (December 3 to December 12)
Astrology Sign: SAGITTARIUS (2nd Decan) Degree 10 - 19
Ruler of Card: MOON
Constellation ARA (The Altar)
Chosen Star: ALTAR (Means: Sanctuary for the Dead)
Anatomy: SAGITTARIUS rules the HIPS (HIPPO), (LIVER), (HIPPOCAMPUS), (HYPOTHALAMUS)
SAGITTARIUS = SAG (Sage) SAGGITA (Arrow) ARIUS (Freedom)
Positive Attributes: last stand, persistence, grit, resilience, perseverance, close to success, fatigue.
Negative Attributes: stubbornness, rigidity, defensiveness, refusing compromise, giving up.
Lord of Strength, reminds us that in being true to ourselves we release energies that will help us to deal with whatever we find within. And after all, whatever lies inside our own subconscious is, for better or for worse, a part of us.
When the 9 of Wands turns up in a reading, we can be re-assured that we have what it takes to get by. Even in times of stress and difficulty, inner strength will rise up to guide us forward toward our goals. And in the process we shall learn more about ourselves and our abilities, gaining a new all-round perspective which brings security and self-confidence.
This card tells us to trust ourselves. We have everything we need. There is no necessity to analyse nor question. And absolutely no excuse to give in to doubt!
The Nine of Wands tarot card is one that symbolizes great hope even when one is faced by many problems that threaten to make them lose their balance. The Nine of Wands symbolizes one's life, which has undergone too many trials but through their determination and will, they were able to overcome them. These won battles are symbolized by the eight upright wands; however, there are still more trials that the person may face. This can be one major trial or challenge that they are supposed to face for them to reach their goals or be successful in their quest. The card is a sign of hope and encouragement that you should face your trials with courage so that you may attain success.
In certain decks, the Nine of Wands shows a weak-looking man holding on to a wand with 8 other upright wands standing behind them. The man looks injured, but he still seems ready to fight another battle, and desires strongly to win. He has a look of hope and determination about him that should help him go through that one last battle. It is a card that shows a mix of challenges, hope and triumph.
