Let's call this build "NAP TIME" cuz you sleepwalk thru Heroic / Memento-PFE-Drone Build #Division2
Jokes aside, this build is quite strong and makes most Heroic content feel trivial in solo play. My character doesn't even need to take cover most of the time. As the video shows, the SMG (with Future Perfect talent) was easily maintaining +3 skills throughout the fights and allowing the Defender Drone to reduce damage taken by over 65.5%. This effectively TRIPLES the strength of the shield, triples the strength of armor/bonus armor, and effectively makes the +4 Armor Regen of the build into +12.
The Defender Drone damage reduction stacks ON TOP of the 37% damage reduction given by the Protection from Elites mods (additional +10% PFE if playing Survivalist).
That all being said, I'm still fine-tuning this build for solo Legendary play. We'll get there!
Possible future tweaks: I'm thinking the F2000 assault rifle or the G36 might be able to replace the Banshee SMG. I "think" their Time to Kill would be equal to the Banshee, especially since the build requires the secondary weapon to carry Future Perfect instead of a damage talent... and assault rifles would kill at a much farther range. On the negative side, the SMG can reach maximum critical hit chance on its own while assault rifles may require me to gimp the armor pieces to max that stat which IN TURN gimps the primary weapon (St. Elmo's) of Critical Hit Damage. I'm also thinking about using Eagle Bearer... now THAT would be incredible... if it can be made to work somehow.
I changed the specialization to Technician for a few reasons.
1) I lose 10% PFE from leaving Survivalist, but gain +1 Skill boost to the Defender Drone's default damage reduction, increasing it by 6% against all enemies not just elites.
2) Technician gives both the shield and drone a +3 skill level which makes it possible to trigger Overcharge using Future Perfect on the SMG and the TDI Kard Custom. While Overcharged, for 15 seconds, the Defender Drone reduces damage by 100% (!) and the shield becomes indestructible. The problem is that it is extremely hard to trigger Overcharge at will. So right now, the Overcharge is just a random boost triggered at a random time in combat. VERY POWERFUL... but only if we figure out how to time it.
3) With Technician and the TDI Kard Custom pistol, the shield and drone are at +4 skills making this a potential pistol/tank build, if necessary to play with Pistolero directive.
4) Technician MIGHT allow this build to switch from Strikers gear set to Heartbreaker because of the Linked Laser Pointer, but this is a BIG reduction in damage... especially at mid-range and far range. It depends on what kind of weapon we can find to replace St. Elmo's, which seems impossible tbh. If we really can switch to Heartbreaker, the build becomes extremely tough to kill, probably impossible for Heroic enemies.
5) I still think Firewall may be the better way to go though...

This is practice play to get familiar again with PFE playstyle for some attempts at solo Legendary. PFE builds usually require more risky and more aggressive playstyle.
Goals of this build are:

Drone + PFE mods = 70% damage reduction against elites for 33 seconds at max Memento stacks.

The goal of this build is:
1) Use Striker Shield in combo with Pummel Shotgun talent to create weapon synergy that never requires reloading and combines it with incredible damage.
DOES IT WORK?
Yes, SORT OF. As we can see from the video, distance weapons like St. Elmo's will still dominate almost all combat situations. In the rare fights where enemies are clustered at close range or any situation where you can close the distance SAFELY, then the Striker Shield/KSG combo DOES give unlimited ammunition and amazing damage. In fact, you may not even need Strikers Battlegear set because fights are finished too quickly to stack anything.
POSITIVES/NEGATIVES
The KSG has a large ammo capacity which allows Pummel to reliably activate. But, the weapon overall handles badly and doesn't pair well with the Striker set. A faster shotgun is needed to make this setup work.

The goal of this build is:

DOES IT WORK?
Yes, Tsunami works much better than the KSG in this test in terms of performance in combat. It handles better, shoots faster, and can stack Strikers Battlegear if you need to switch to a long-range weapon. But the build isn't QUITE "never reload" as the the ammo capacity of the Tsunami is small.
POSITIVES/NEGATIVES
The Tsunami has a small ammo capacity so Pummel doesn't reliably activate before needing to reload. Not sure if the Tsunami is better than using an SMG (which also benefits from a Striker Shield.

This was pretty sloppy gameplay because I was going out of my way to use the Banshee-Striker combo, but at least my character survived. In most combat situations, a longer range weapon will kill enemies faster, which is always a challenge that these short-range builds need to overcome.
It's hard to tell in this video whether shotgun or smg is better with Striker Shield. I'm leaning towards SMG even though shotgun "feels" like it can kill single targets faster. They're both good for different reasons.
Going to test with Tsunami shotgun next!

[REVISED BUILD] Striker-AOK (50% Armor on Kill) / #Division2 08-05-24) #TomClancy #wz
CONCLUSION: In the end, this build is similar to other builds I use... mostly a tweak to get more Armor and Armor on Kill. 50% Armor on Kill is only doable by losing Coyote's Mask which is a big drop in damage. Using Emeline's Guard SMG instead of a Banshee with Preservation will add 10% AOK to all the numbers down below at the cost of noticeably reduced damage.
Use 20% Armor on Kill (Gunner + Deathgrips OR Palisades) if you're confident you can joust with multiple enemies at close range. I consider 20% Armor on Kill to be the minimum for rushing enemy positions. Deathgrips will make you slightly tougher when your Armor is gone. Palisades allows for slightly more damage.
Use 30% Armor on Kill (Gunner + Coyote's Mask + Preservation + Ceska Vyroba) if you'd like more Armor on Kill that comes more slowly but the build offers similar damage to 20%. Ceska allows you to restore DTOOC to the St. Elmo's 3rd attribute and remove CHC mods from the armor in favor of more damage.
Use 40% Armor on Kill (Gunner + Coyote's Mask + Preservation + Deathgrips OR Palisades) for more protection but there is a noticeable drop in damage coming down from 30% AOK.
Use 50% Armor on Kill ((Gunner + Preservation + Deathgrips AND Palisades), for good tanking ability, but you'll notice ANOTHER drop in damage coming down from 40% AOK. IMHO, 50% Armor on Kill will not save a character if surrounded by enemies. The sweet spot is 20% to 30% AOK.

My 1st Legendary Solo of the CAPITAL BUILDING / No Decoy No Turret No GE Low-Risk Build / #Division2
2 hours long, but this was my first time clearing Legendary solo. I never felt my character could die. This is a SAFE build for casual gameplay. With more red cores, I'm sure the clear time of this build can be reduced.

1) This build isn't designed to be quick. It is designed to be EASY and SAFE.
2) All Striker pieces are blue cores and rolled for Explosive Resistance. Lengmo armor and Sawyer's Kneepads bring this stat to 90%. This allows you to sit safely and PATIENTLY behind cover and kill Legendary mobs at your leisure.
3) Sawyer's Kneepads gives you a 30% all damage boost if you remain still. This more than makes up for the loss of Critical Hit Damage that this build suffers.
4) This build still possesses one weakness: it lacks Protection from Elite mods, which are often necessary to defend against attacks that you cannot retreat from.
5) Max Critical Hit Chance for the St. Elmo's depends on its 3rd attribute being rolled to Critical Hit Chance.
