Fried Cabbage and Potatoes for Your Go-to Weeknight Comfort Food
There's nothing more comforting than fried cabbage and potatoes. A hearty side dish, all you need is a large skillet, a head of cabbage, and russet potatoes scrubbed and chopped. Serve it on along with kielbasa for a complete weeknight meal or add some fried eggs to make your brunch oh, so, delicious.
Southern-fried cabbage and fried potatoes. What's not to love?
1 green cabbage, shred
3 russet potatoes, peeled and chopped into 1/2-inch pieces
6 strips bacon
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until nice and crispy, about 12 minutes. Transfer the bacon to a plate and keep the bacon drippings in the pan. Crumble the bacon when able to handle.
Add in the potatoes, cabbage, garlic, salt, and pepper in the bacon grease and cook, covered, until the potatoes are tender, about 10 minutes. Remove from pan and stir in the bacon. Serve.

The Major Difference Between Bleach & Splash-less Bleach
As I was shopping for bleach, I came across a variety of Clorox bleach products that I've never touched before. I've always used regular bleach for all of my everyday cleaning, but I was surprised to see lavender-scented bleach and splash-less bleach on the store shelf.
I can see why scented bleach may be appealing, but splash-less bleach? It turns out that splash-less bleach is popular for simply protecting your clothes while you clean. I have my fair share of ruined clothes from bleach, so I thought, "Why not give splash-less bleach a chance?" Although, I realized it wasn't ideal for disinfecting.
Does Splash-less Bleach Disinfect?
Unfortunately, splash-less bleach does not disinfect. It is still a powerful cleaner, but it shouldn't be used for sanitizing. The splash-less bleach formula even says on the back of the bottle that it does not sanitize. To prove this, I went to clorox.com and looked at their bleach products.
If you filter to bleach, you see regular bleach and splash-less bleach products. Once you add the disinfecting filter, splash-less bleach disappears from the list. I do appreciate the transparency, but if you weren't aware that it wasn't a disinfectant, it might be time to use Clorox bleach instead.
It seems as that Clorox Splash-Less Bleach will clean your household surfaces of germs, but it won't disinfect your countertops. To fight viruses and bacteria, a product meant for disinfection is what you need.
Continue to use a splash-less formula as a deodorizer or in washing machines to deep clean tough laundry stains. The last thing, check out this review from a customer. You'd think that all Clorox brand products consist of disinfecting household chemicals, but they don't.
Oh, bleach. Out of all of the cleaning products sitting under the sink, you're my favorite. Bleach whitens my dingy fabrics (old college T-Shirts, of course), and keeps my trash can, sinks, and bathtub looking sparkly clean.
This bleach solution disinfects and kills 99.9% of germs and bacteria. This liquid may not have a controlled pour, but you could also put bleach in the bottle cap. Deep cleaning benefits are worth it. You should absolutely prevent the spread of bacteria growth on an array of household surfaces.
Both formulas seem to be excellent on white clothing and tough stains. If you happen to have a no-splash formula, make it the designated laundry bleach. (Keep it next to your laundry detergent and keep out of reach of children.) If you have a regular bottle of bleach, only use that one for disinfecting purposes.
I'll use bleach over splash-less formulas any day. Less spilling does sound amazing, but regular bleach seems to be deodorizing and sanitizing all of my household surfaces just fine.

Kit Kat Released a Birthday Cake-Flavored Candy Bar in April
It may not be your birthday today, but today still calls for some birthday cake treats. Kit Kat has announced that they're releasing a Kit Kat Birthday Cake bar. It will be a limited-edition flavor, so be sure to catch them while you can. They'll be hitting store shelves in April. It's so close!
We've seen a lot of birthday cake-flavored food and drinks over the years. From Dr Pepper Birthday Cake to Halo Top Birthday Cake Ice Cream, there are plenty of ways to get your special cake fix any time of the year. Luckily Kit Kat is on board with birthday cake flavor because a crispy wafer and white crème frosting will be so satisfying.
Yay for white chocolate frosting! This is the first time Kit Kat will add sprinkles to a Kit Kat candy bar. What's a birthday cake without sprinkles? Everything the new Kit Kat entails makes it sound exactly like the birthday cakes we love from the bakery.
I have a feeling the Kit Kat Birthday Cake bar will taste like an ice cream cake or birthday cake with buttercream frosting. (By the way, if you need a birthday cake anytime soon, Walmart has the best ice cream cake I've ever had).
Leave the cake mix, Funfetti cake frosting, and cake pans in the cabinet. Once April rolls around, all you'll need to do is visit Amazon or a grocery store aisle for the cupcake taste you tastebuds long for.
It looks like Kit Kat has eight new Kit Kat flavors coming in 2020. Instagram user markie_devo says it's going to be the year of the Kit Kat. Take a peek of what could possibly be in store for us.

Richard Rawlings Makes a Ridiculous Net Worth Living Every Gearhead’s Dream
Richard Rawlings has made a pretty penny for himself as a reality TV and media personality, shop owner, and entrepreneur. The star of Discovery Channel shows Fast N’ Loud and Garage Rehab, Rawlings also owns and operates the Gas Monkey Garage and Gas Monkey Bar N’ Grill. As of 2014, he can also be found promoting Dodge in their commercials.
Each of these endeavors has certainly been lucrative. But, exactly how much have Rawlings’s efforts amounted to? Let’s take a look at Richard Rawlings’s net worth and find out.
Richard Ray Rawlings began his life in Fort Worth and Northwest Dallas, Texas. He attended Eastern Hills High School and grew up going to auto shows and working on cars with his father. At 14, he bought his first car. After graduating high school, he worked in law enforcement and as a firefighter and paramedic.
Rawlings had a different plan for his life though. As he saw it, getting on TV was another step toward the larger successes he wanted. First, he opened the Gas Monkey Garage and, only a year and a half later, the Gas Monkey Bar N’ Grill. He used these assets to convince the Discovery Channel he was the right guy for the Fast N’ Loud TV show. From there, he used his television exposure in the United States to successfully grow his Gas Monkey brand into an empire. His latest venture in 2014 was opening Gas Monkey Live, a live music venue.
In 2007, Rawlings and Dennis Collins broke the Cannonball Run time record from New York City to Los Angeles by almost an hour, completing the run in 31 hours and 51 minutes in a Ferrari 550. He also raced in the 2007 Bullrun rally.
Richard Rawlings Net Worth
So, how much is this guy worth these days? Rawlings’s empire amounts to $15-20 million, according to most estimates. Remind me to diversify my investments, folks…

Fireball and Pineapple Are a Match Made in Whiskey Heaven on the Grill
Looking for the perfect side dish to serve with your BBQ pulled pork? Try this fireball pineapple recipe from Malcom Reed, founder of How to BBQ Right on Youtube. Loaded with brown sugar, raw sugar, fireball whiskey, and ground cinnamon, this recipe features a whole pineapple grilled to perfection on a rotisserie spit. Caramelized and sweet, this grilled pineapple recipe is perfect as an appetizer or even topped on some cool vanilla ice cream.
How to Make Fireball Pineapple
To start, make sure your charcoal grill has a rotisserie rod or rotisserie setup. Once you have the grill set up, remove the pineapple skin with a sharp knife and cut small slits diagonally along the pineapple. This diamond pattern will make sure all the Fireball whisky soaks into the fruit.
Place the cut pineapple in a large ziplock storage bag and add a touch of fireball whisky. Let the pineapple marinate for at least two hours, turning the pineapple every 30 minutes to ensure every side of the pineapple is soaked. Mix together the cinnamon-sugar mixture and press on the pineapple and cook for a total of an hour, adding more cinnamon-sugar mixture when necessary.
Slide the pineapple off the rotisserie forks and enjoy your delicious grilled fireball pineapple slices.
