At the California Shasta County Board of Supervisors meeting, Terry Rapoza, unhappy with ten CA government bills that attack God given rights and Constitutional amendments, are in line to be passed in California's Democrat dominated capital. Terry suggests that there should be a committee made up of constitutional experts to be careful that the citizens God given rights are not stepped on.

It seems as if citizens were surprised of a plan for a new jail. All of a sudden there was this expensive 120 million dollar plan for a very complex rehabilitation center. Less Baugh and supervisor Patrick Jones were a bit miffed.

Something doesn't feel right? 120 million reasons to say no. Jails are to be feared, not become institutions of health. Uncomfortable surroundings should by design make a person not want to be there.

A citizen journalist outlines why Shasta County Supervisor Mary Rickert is still a target of recall.

Shasta County CA had a successful supervisor recall of Supervisor Leonard Moti. Before the recall election, Moti was appointed chair and Mary Rickert vice chair by a 3 - 2 vote. This was a deliberate move that denied Supervisor Les Baugh from being appointed Chair, which was supposed to happen. The meeting was held just prior to the recall election, and the chair appointments were political and on the assumption that Moti would not be recalled, but he was. Since one of Mary’s votes to vice chair was eliminated, the new supervisor should have a vote. So it was only understandable that Mary would have to face another vote from the new board members.
