Scarborough: Netanyahu is 'Responsible for the greatest slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust'
SCARBOROUGH: “Willie, I think for many supporters of Israel, right message in many ways, wrong messenger. Certainly, him defending himself in the lead-up up to the attacks, that’s not a message that the overwhelming majority of people in Israel believe. There’s no way they could believe that. He left Israelis completely vulnerable to the most vicious attack since the Holocaust. So, again, I think it’s wildly inappropriate for him to — but, of course, it’s what he is going to do. But to somehow try to tangle — entangle Israel’s survival with his own. But, again, many things he said, true. We wouldn’t have talked about a cease-fire on December 8th, 1941, or on September 12th, 2001. Also, very true that Hamas has hidden behind civilians their entire career. We said this the day after the attacks. We said, when a Jew dies, that’s a victory for Hamas. When a Palestinian dies, that’s a victory for Hamas. They are just excited about Palestinians dying, maybe even more than they are when Jews die, because they consider that a victory. That’s why they hide in hospitals. That’s why they hide in apartment buildings. That’s why they hide behind civilians. So, again, I think most supporters of Israel would agree with Benjamin Netanyahu in many ways, except the Benjamin Netanyahu part. He was responsible for that — not just directly, by Israel sleeping and the defense forces sleeping and him obsessing over wars against the courts instead of war against Hamas, and also because what he did for well over a decade, doing everything he could to avoid peace talks that would lead to a two-state solution. He was so obsessed with the West Bank and so obsessed to allowing religious extremists to bulldoze down Palestinian homes for political purposes, because he knew that would help him with the far-right, the far-right religiously, politically, that he took his eyes off the terrorists who promised to kill Jews, took his eyes completely off of it for political reasons. So, yeah, that speech last night, a little discordant for a lot of people, and I’ll say, including myself, that are fierce defenders of Israel. You can’t be a fierce defender of Israel and listen to what Benjamin Netanyahu said and go, ‘Yeah, yeah, that sounds about right.’ Because 80% of people inside of Israel think he is responsible.”
GEIST: “Well, that’s the thing. In this moment of national unity inside of Israel, there is dissent about the man leading the country right now, big dissent. You hear it in the questions he’s asked even in those news briefings. He is a man who has built his reputation as a national security hawk, as the man who can protect Israel from all the aggressors that surround it, every minute of every day. And on October 7th, that all fell to pieces. The fact that people could walk across the border, effectively, and murder a couple thousand civilians, that fell away for him. He is vulnerable to that. And his argument now, Joe, is, ‘There will be time to talk about who is responsible. There will be a time for that. Right now, we have to crush Hamas.’”
SCARBOROUGH: “Well, Jonathan, Willie is exactly right.”
BRZEZINSKI: “I wouldn’t want to put off that conversation.”
SCARBOROUGH: “Why? You’d want the same people that allowed the attacks to happen on October 7th to lead this war? No. Because he put clowns around him. I have friends in Israel that told me for a year that he was taking out the pros and bringing in idiots and clowns.”
BRZEZINSKI: “What does that sound like?”
SCARBOROUGH: “Yeah, what does that sound like? It sounds like Donald Trump in the United States. Again, they didn’t tell me this on October 8th. They were telling me this in June and July. They were telling me it’s a certain kind of show over there. And I had warnings time and time again, people saying time and again, ‘He’s dividing the very people who protect our existence.’ So now he’s going out — Willie is right, you know, he’s built himself up as this hawk through the years. He will be remembered as the man who was responsible for the greatest slaughter of Jews worldwide since the Holocaust. I’m not saying that. Israelis are saying that, the ones who were there, the ones who lost sons, the ones who lost daughters, the ones who lost kids, who lost parents, who lost grandparents. They’re the ones saying it. That’s why he can’t go out and answer questions from Israelis. That’s why the cabinet ministers won’t go out to the people, because they know they’re responsible.”
LEMIRE: “Yeah, his legacy will be that he took his eye off the ball. The number one job for an Israeli prime minister is to keep Israeli citizens safe. His focus was the battle of the courts, his focus was the settlements, his focus was appeasing the far-right members of his coalition, and he lost the — you know, he lost the ability to keep those Israelis safe. He’s facing a lot of questions now. There’s real sense in the Biden White House that his days politically are numbered. They suspect he’ll keep his position through this first wave of the war, but at certain point, polls suggest Israelis want a new leader.”

HIGHLIGHTS: Ron DeSantis & Gavin Newsom Governor's Debate
DESANTIS: Pretty slick way of not answering your question. He went on a binge of putting out a lot of left-wing platitudes. I talked to all people that moved from California to Florida and we never used to get people – or any one because why would you leave California? It has the best weather. Excuse me, sir. One of the things that I did, I had – I was talking to a gentleman –
>> The debate read. Let’s take turns.
>> Talking to a fellow who made the move from California to Florida and he said that Florida is safer, lower taxes, and he is happy with the quality of life and then he paused and he said, by the way, pam Gavin Newsom’s father-in-law. So we do count Gavin’s in-laws as some of the people who have fled California and why are we getting people to come? We have a 50 year low in the crime rate. You don’t see, in the last 10 years, we had a 45% decline in homelessness. California has had a 44% increase in homelessness. We back the blue. I was walking the streets of San Francisco a couple months ago and I had some of the cops in San Francisco to a beeline to come over to me and I did not know what they were going to say say. They said, we want to thank you for standing for law enforcement because we don’t get that support in the state of California. People understand the quality of life matters. They understand that Florida is doing it right. And I can tell you the numbers speak for themselves. We have way more people moving to this state than leaving. Gavin can't say the opposite. More people are leaving California than are moving into California.
NEWSOM: These regressive taxes that advantage billionaires and millionaires over working families and the working poor. People in his state pay more taxes on the low end than we tax people on the high end. That's a fact.
DESANTIS: How does paying $7 a gallon gas help working people? That doens't help working people at all. How does paying an 8% sales tax help worlking people? That doesn't help working people at all. They have the highest taxes inthe nation. People flee to be able to save money to get out of California, and you have working class people that move to these other states, their dollars go much further. Here's the thing- they want to take this Bidenomics and they want to double down on this for the next 4 years. How many people are able to afford groceries now compared to what you were doing three or four years ago? I talked to people, you know, talk to a woman who had a cart full of groceries, going in and they're ringing it up. A got to be so expensive she has to take a lot of the stuff out. That did not used to be the case. People used to be able to work hard and get ahead. That is not true under Joe Biden. And you know what, one more final thing- California’s unemployment rate is 60% higher than Florida’s unemployment rate. Our employment rate is 2.8%. Theirs is 4.8%. Why? Because it is a command and control economy. They have a political agenda that they are pursuing.
NEWSOM: On the issue of immigration. When he was in Congress, he supported amnesty. When her was is in Congress, he supported John Boener's bill. It's a fact
DESANTIS: False.
NEWSOM: When you were in Congress you supported Obama’s – you supported Obama’s supported Obama’s efforts to advance comprehensive reform. The last guy you want to talk to on that immigrant – your immigration policy can best be described as a governor from the state of Florida going into another state, the state of Texas, lying to migrants, promising them jobs and housing to send them to an island of Martha’s vineyard, and then sending them to a parking lot in Sacramento, California. I met with those migrants that you lied to. Under false pretense. That kind of gamesmanship, using human beings as pawns, I think there is a disqualifying. So again, a guy who stands here, who has been out on the Republican debate stage, saying that he is going to shoot people with backpacks and that he has a strategy to potentially even invade our second largest trading partner, Mexico, that has a record of supporting amnesty and supporting amnesty and reforms under the Obama Administration is the last guy standing on stage talking about the issue of immigration reform tonight.
DESANTIS: I'm having dejavu with that flurry of lies. This is a guy that says the Biden Administration is not lying to the public about the border. To go to White House briefing room every day. They said the border is secure. They are lying to you. We know that that is not true. Gavin Newsom is lying to you when he says somehow I supported these things which I did not do. He is also lying to you about what it is going to take to solve this problem. California is a sanctuary state. They thumb their nose at federal immigration law practice has real consequences. There was an illegal alien, Herbert Nixon Flores, who was in L.A. in custody, a repeat criminal. I.C.E. wanted to take him into custody because then they would be able to deport him. LA refuses to work with ice. The end up releasing him on the street. He ends up murdering the mother of a three-year-old little girl. That – those policies are deadly. They do not work. And I would tell you this. The Martha’s vineyard transport, Martha’s vineyard said it was a sanctuary jurisdiction. Kind of reminds me about Gavin Newsom when he restricted californians that he went to the French Laundry. These liberal elites, they like to impose burdens on you. They don’t want to have to face the consequences of their action. We have a lot of ellites who want open borders. Hoops extra everybody else about it. That the minute they have to do with any of the consequences, oh, man, all hell breaks loose.
DESANTIS: This should not be in schools. When people on the left say that somehow you are banning books by removing this from a young kid’s classroom. No, this is not age-appropriate and so we’re going to stand for the rights of parents. And I think need to do that nationwide. I do think you can have a situation where some states just trample on the rights of parents. Parents have a fundamental right to direct the education and upbringing of their kids.
NEWSOM You've been on a banning binge. 1,406 books have been banned just last year under Ron DeSantis of leadership. I love that he keeps pulling this out. He has been doing this all over the campaign trail. What is wrong with Toni Morrison’s books?
DESANTIS: It's not banned.
NEWSOM: What is wrong with Amanda Gorman Gorman’s? 1,406 books.
DESANTIS: Not Banned. That's a false Narrative.
NEWSOM: 1,406 books have been banned in the state of Florida as it relates to parental rights, come on. California, it is in our constitution, parental engaging. We require parental engagement. On curriculum development and we don’t complete lie, we don’t require k through 3rd grade sexual education. You are using education as a sword for your cultural purge. With all due respect, you know, I remember in the 1970s, the 1970s, we had a bill called the briggs initiative and there was a guy by the name of Ronald Reagan, so offended by the briggs initiative which was the original “don’t say gay” bill. It was not allowing teachers who happen to be gay to teach. Reagan said, you can’t catch gay like you can measles. I don’t like the way you demean the LGBTQ+ community. I don’t like how you humiliate people you disagree with. I find this fundamentally offensive and this is a core value that distinguishes the values of my state and frankly the vast majority of Americans against the weaponization of education.
HANNITY: Some of the books you are talking about, one is called, the Governor just brought it up, it is called “genderqueer, a memoir, explicit pornographic book showing sex acts. Another, 'Flamer', a graphic book about young boys performing sex acts at summer camp. 'This Book is Gay' a book containing instructions on the ins and outs of gay sexuality. 'Let's Talk About It' a book that contains graphic description is about how to masturbate. Do you believe that is appropriate for school districts to teach kids, yes or no?
NEWSOM: Those are not part of the curriculum.
HANNITY: Those were books that were in school.
NEWSOM: The bottom line is, you are on a book banning binge in your state. 1,406 books, 3,362 in this country.
HANNITY: YOu didn't answer the quesitons.
NEWSON: We don't provide for K through 3rd grade education, that kind of curriculum, it is just made up. These guys make it up. It is part of this cultural purge. What I find offensive is the very significant number of these books happen to be LGBTQ+ books. A significant number of these books. A significant number of these books happen to be about African-Americans.
HANNITY: Do you think it is appropriate in school?
NEWSOM: We don't teach that. We don’t teach that. We have sex education in high schools where it is appropriate. This is a made up issue. You talk about dividing this country. This is part of the culture war, the weaponization of grievance. This is part using education, we are focusing on math, science, we are focusing on reimagining our schools. He's criminalizing teachers.
DESANTIS: They've used the schools to impose a liberal agenda. Social justice, they have this ethnic studies where they are dividing people. Let me just say something about parents’ rights. He says California respects parents’ rights. He has been telling a lot of whoppers tonight, this may be the biggest. In California, if you are a parent in Iowa or New Hampshire, South Carolina, your minor child can go to California without your knowledge or without your consent and get hormone therapy, puberty blockers, and a sex change operation without you knowing or consenting. How in the heck is that honoring parents’ rights when you are bringing people from out of state to go around their parents’ backs and getting life altering surgeries? That is radical. That is extreme. That is an assault on parents’ writes.
NEWSOM: You know what, Ron? These kids just want to live.
DESANTIS: It's not for you to decide. It is for the parents to decide. The parents did not want kids going to these things.
[Crosstalk]
HANNITY: you recently said,, quote, you think that vice president Harris is the one lined up to run for president if Joe Biden were to bow out. Governor Newsom, I ask you, will you make an lbj-like statement and Governor DeSantis, you say he is running a shadow campaign. In your response, I would like you to answer that. Really say unequivocally, under no circumstances are you running –
NEWSOM: Correct. I don’t know how many times I can say this. You are making this stuff up about a shadow campaign.
HANNITY: They ask you to run –
NEWSOM: Joe Biden will be our nominee in a matter of weeks. In a matter of weeks, Sean, he will be endorsing – he will be endorsing Donald Trump.
HANNITY: If they come to you and Joe is incapable of asking, are you a hard no?
NEWSOM: It's not even an option. He's doing fantastically. I appreciate and respect the work the president is doing in the vice president, Biden/Harris campaign and team so absolutely unequivocally. President Biden will be reelected. Donald Trump will be rejected.
DESANTIS: What he is saying should color every single thing. I've called him on a lot of the lies, but he says Joe Biden is 100% up to the job.
NEWSOM: Joe Biden put out not only a comprehensive plan. He puts a plans-
HANNITY: Is there a risk to theAmerican people?
NEWSOM: I support border security. I think the asylum system is broken. I believe that we- I'm the only guy here who is a border state governor. You are trolling folks and trying to fing migrants to play political games so you can out out Trump Trump. How is that going for you, Ron? You are down 41 points in your own home state. On the issue of immigration, Joe Biden put a $14 billion immigration package up in front of Congress, 2300 border agents as well as customs officials. 1,000 new law-enforcement officers to deal with the fentanyl issue. And that is a major issue in your state. 41% higher overdose rates than the state of California. And here is what I have not heard. Not a peep from Ron DeSantis. They want to demagogue this issue. You don’t want to solve this issue. Why don’t you lead your party and support that $14 billion –
NEWSOM: This is a guy that is criminalizing teachers, doctors, librarians, and women that seek their reproductive care. You're making it harder to vote. You are banning books. Spare me this notion of freedom. Ask the folks at Disney. Ask the folks at the Special Olympics that you threaten to fine with 27 million–
DESANTIS: They were discriminating against the athletes. You wanted those athletes to be out there because of down syndrome. That is wrong. That is being a liberal bully. They had down syndrome and you wanted to discriminate against them. They were discriminating against because they were discriminating against the athletes. They wanted to marginalize the athletes and you wanted the athletes marginalized. That was wrong what you did. These are kids with down syndrome that just wanted to compete and you wanted them out of the Special Olympics. You're a liberal bully.
[Crosstoalk]
NEWSOM: I can handle it. I’m used to it. You know what? Your attacks on the trans community – you attack vulnerable communities. You attack women. Relax. I can handle it. I’m used to bullies. You are nothing but a bully. I understand that. Intimidating and humiliate people. That is your calling card.
[Overlapping speakers]
HANNITY: Let's go back to the issue of homelessness.
NEWSOM: The issue of homelessness has been an issue for decades in the state of California. Ever since we started shuttering down our mental health institutions.
HANNITY: Looking at total time-
NEWSOM: Let him have it, he could use it.
DESANTIS: This is a map of San Francisco. This is an app where they plot the human feces found on the streets of San Francisco. It is covered because that is what has happened in one of the previous greatest cities this country has ever had. Human feces is now a fact of life, except when a communist dictator comes to town. Then they cleaned up the streets. They lined the streets with Chinese flags. They did not put American flags there. To clean everything up. They are willing to do it for a communist dictator, but they're not willing to do it for their own people.
DESANTIS: I would not go to China and grovel in front of Xi, like Gavin Newsom did. He says China is a partner on climate change. China is adding two new coal plants every year. China is laughing at us with what they are doing. So yes, they are the number one threat we face. We need to take it seriously and Joe Biden is not doing that.
NEWSOM: This is a reminder, you know, I think it is a question some people are probably asking. I know Nikki Haley’s camping is asking, when are you going to drop out and at least give Nikki Haley a shot to take down Donald Trump? She laid you out. You're a walking hypocrite on the issue of China.
DESANTIS: You wish.
HANNITY: What about China?
NEWSOM: On the issue of China, this is a guide who was looking for direct foreign trade from Chine, was doing trade —
DESANTIS: That is false. That has already been debunked. You talk about the liberal fact checkers. Even the liberal fact checkers debunked that.
NEWSOM: Donald Trump himself called you 'Red Ron' for your complete hypocrisy.
DESANTIS: The issue we have from the modern left, including in California is that they will take your tax dollars and they will fund abortion all the way to the moment of birth. He is wrong when he says the later terms are all because of this. 88% past 15 weeks are in fact the elective from the for the data. He does not keep data there. But that is really extreme to take your tax dollars and to do this all the way up to the moment of birth. He did not answer your question about any type of protections at all for a baby that has a beating heart, that can feel pain, that is viable.
NEWSOM: this is an important conversation, will you or will you not support. Will you not support a national ban if it lands on your desk?
HANNITY: gentlemen, we are moving onto the next issue.
NEWSOM: The American people should know this. He can’t answer it. He will sign that extreme ban. The American people should know that.
NEWSOM: You in particular, Ron, are a cultural purge intimidating and humiliating people you disagree with. You and President Trump are really trying to make democracy on fire. So Sean, there are profound differences tonight. And I look forward in engaging. But there’s one thing in closing that we have in common, is neither of us will be the nominee for our party in 2024.

America's Economy Is Getting Screwed With
The global ramifications of China's real estate failures are growing. Add in the recession in Europe, and the ripple effects are felt across the globe.
While Fed Chair Jerome Powell has tried to bring down inflation and cool growth, the Biden administration now pushes for fixing prices on insulin and other medications, including for diabetes treatments. At the same time, the job market is shrinking...and not for the right reasons. Plus, housing is only forecasted to go up while interest rates stay above 7%.
Is China's coming financial implosion going to impact us more, or will Biden's policy decisions and meddling in the free market?

Netanyahu: Fighting the Iranian Axis of Terror is 'Fighting the Enemies of Civilization Itself’
Netanyahu: “Until recently many believed that the promise of progress in the 21st century would enable us to move beyond the barbaric horrors of the past, towards a better and brilliant future. Many believe that we could go about our comfortable lives and that evil will simply pass us by. It will not. The horrors that Hamas perpetrated on October 7th remind us that we will not realize the promise of a better future, unless we, the civilized world, are willing to fight the barbarians. Because the barbarians are willing to fight us. And their goal is clear: Shatter that promising future, destroy all that we cherish, and usher in a world of fear and darkness.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is a turning point, a turning point for leaders and nations. It is time for all of us to decide if we’re willing to fight for a future of hope and promise or surrender to tyranny and terror. Now rest assured, Israel will fight. Since October 7th Israel has been at war. Israel did not start this war. Israel did not want this war. But Israel will win this war. Hamas launched this war by perpetrating the worst savagery our people have seen since the Holocaust. Hamas murdered children in front of their parents, murdered parents in front of their children. They buried people alive. They raped women. They beheaded men. They tortured Holocaust survivors. They kidnapped babies. They committed the most horrific crimes imaginable.
And they’re part of the axis of evil that Iran has formed, an axis of terror that works by arming training and financing Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, and other terror proxies throughout the Middle East and beyond the Middle East.
In fighting Hamas and the Iranian axis of terror, Israel is fighting the enemies of civilization itself. Victory over these enemies begins with moral clarity. It begins with knowing the difference between good and evil, between right and wrong. It means making a moral distinction between the deliberate murder of the innocent and the unintentional casualties that accompany every legitimate war, even the most just war.
It means holding Hamas responsible for the double war cry it commits every day by deliberately targeting the Israeli civilians, while deliberately using Palestinian civilians as human shields. It means making clear that the use of human shields is not only an immoral tactic of terror, but also an ineffective one. Because as long as Hamas’ use of Palestinian human shields result in the international community blaming Israel, Hamas will continue to use it as a tool of terror and so will others.
Hamas will continue to use the basements in Gaza’s hospitals as the command post of its vast terror tunnel network. It will continue to use mosques as fortified military positions and weapon depots. It will continue to steal fuel and humanitarian assistance from U.N. facilities. While Israel is doing everything to get Palestinians civilians out of harm’s way, Hamas is doing everything to keep Palestinian civilians in harm’s way.
Israel urges Palestinian civilians to leave the areas of armed conflict, while Hamas prevents those civilians from leaving those areas at gunpoint. Hamas is also preventing foreign nationals from leaving Gaza altogether. And most despicably Hamas is holding over 200 Israeli hostages, including 33 children, holding them, terrorizing them, keeping them as hostages. Every civilized nation should stand with Israel and demanding that these hostages be freed immediately and freed unconditionally.
I want to make clear Israel’s position regarding a ceasefire. Just as the United States would not agree to a ceasefire after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, or after the terrorist attack of 9/11, Israel will not agree to a cessation of hostilities with Hamas after the horrific attacks of October 7th. Calls for a ceasefire are calls for Israel to surrender to Hamas, to surrender to terrorism, to surrender to barbarism — that will not happen.
Ladies and gentlemen, the Bible says that there is a time for peace, and a time for war. This is a time for war, a war for a common future. Today we draw a line between the forces of civilization and the forces of barbarism. It is a time for everyone to decide where they stand. Israel will stand against the forces of barbarism until victory. I hope and pray that civilized nations everywhere will back this fight. Because Israel’s fight is your fight, because of Hamas and Iran’s axis of evil when you will be their next target.
That’s why Israel’s victory will be your victory. But make no mistake, regardless of who stands with Israel, Israel will fight until this battle is won, and Israel will prevail. May God bless Israel, and may God bless all those who stand with Israel.”

It's Not About Iowa. It's About November, Because It's About Winning.
Former President Trump won the Iowa caucuses, and he won big. Some want to say that he only got 51% of the vote, leaving 49% of the party unsatisfied with him.
That might lead to support of a unified "non-Trump" candidate. Both Haley and Desantis (as of the this livestream) are staying in the race. But it can also - and more likely - lead Republicans to concede and say Trump is the guy,
And if that's the case, then ll eyes should rightfully be on how to win 2024. Because it's about winning, right? And winning means not focusing on 2020, but American's better tomorrow.

Haley And DeSantis Stay In. Why?
"You may say I'm a dreamer. But I'm not the only one."
Those are some of the lyrics from Imagine by John Lennon, one of the worst songs ever written. It's a song about nihilism....a terrible message and a terrible presentation. Other Beatles music? Incredible!
But that is a way to sum up Amb. Nikki Haley and Gov. Ron DeSantis, who are staying in the race for President. How long can they afford to hold out, and what bit of magic are they looking for in New Hampshire or South Carolina?
France and Qatar have worked out an aid deal for Gaza that includes medicine getting to Israeli hostages still held by Hamas. Any odds that this is going to work out for he people of Gaza or the hostages?
And the very weird story of Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay. Has the team been lying about his condition?

Banana Republic: Jack Smith's Indictment of President Trump is Nonsense
Late Justice Antonin Scalia said it best when he discussed a bad idea being "pure applesauce."
That's the nicest way to describe the latest indictment against President Trump for "attempting" to overturn the 2020 election results, and the happenings on January 6th, 2021.
This is not about liking Trump, or what Trump said or did. This is about the law. And, legally, Smith's indictment reads as not a list of provable crimes, but rather as an airing of the grievances.
John Malcolm of the Heritage Foundation has the latest on the indictment, and what it says about our political DOJ.

Trump Should Just Let Biden Lose. And there is Only One National Anthem.
President Biden is too old, and those defending him are unserious. You don't have to be a neurologist to know that Biden is not capable. Politicos touting his great mind are the grossest level of pandering; true believers that power is more important than nation.
So why is President Trump getting in the way of it all? Where is Nikki Haley's husband? What is he doing?
But his comments about Russia and NATO? It seems everyone is purposefully getting that wrong...even if it wasn't what he should say.
PLUS: There is only one national anthem in the United States, because we are one nation. And if you don't believe that, then you've identified yourself as the problem in the United States.
ALSO: I don't care at all about the Chiefs SuperBowl victory. Dynasty? Sure. Taylor Swift is a psy-op? Of course not...don't be weird.

CNN Panel falls into CHAOS over Claudine Gay and D.E.I.
>> Jonah, the MAGA extremist argument, which is the one that in the fall of 2022 Biden made, worked very well for him and for Democrats in the midterm. What do you think of him going that argument and literally in the speech on Friday talking about nazis and comparing Trump’s rhetoric to Nazi rhetoric, doing it this early?
>> I think that’s the right question. It is a tactical question to me as just a matter of politics. I would have his surrogates doing that now. There’s a real problem, or there’s a real potential of this all sort of becoming background noise and there’s no shock value to it by the time you get to the general election. So it is going to be dismissed by a lot of people on the right pretty early because argument of Hitler is an old tactic of the left, and even if it has more salience now, but I feel it is early to come out of the box like this because it is the point of persuading his own coalition to come home.
>> Where do you go when you start with Hitler? Satan? I’m not sure where you move. One of the problems he has got — one thing he can do is repeat it and keep repeating it. The more we see Trump say crazy things and people pay attention to it —
>> But 11 months is a long time.
>> It is a long time, but it will grow over time. People will go, oh, that guy. I think it is better to say, look at that guy rather than look at me.
>> One advantage is that when Trump gets called Hitler, Trump’s response is to say, hey, I didn’t get this from mein kampf. I came up with this language all on my own. I didn’t plagiarize Hitler, I just used duplicative language.
>> Lulu, what did you want to say?
>> I wanted to say as a tactic, sure, is it going to get old. But this is his central message. This has been his central message since the moment he actually said he was going to try to become president of the United States. It is not unusual for Biden to say, this is why I am here, I am fighting for democracy, I am fighting for this country, and I consider Trump to be an existential threat.
>> Let’s be honest about something. One of the reasons, and I kind of touched on it in the beginning, one of the reasons that Biden is taking this route is because he has spent all fall touting his own record, leaning into ‘'Bidenomics'’ and it didn’t work. Take a look at this latest CNN average of recent polls. At this point 38% approve of the job the president is doing. 58% disapprove. Reihan, I mean, you know, he was making the affirmative case for himself and folks weren’t buying it.
>> Joe Biden’s best chance right now is to have a low turnout election. We are in a very different moment right now in which in the past the assumption was always among progressive activists, we need to get folks to turn out, we do better in presidential years than we do in off-year elections. Now it is very different. Jonah mentioned very astutely in 2022 these tactics worked because you had a somewhat more affluent, more educated electorate. A lot of folks were on the sidelines. What Biden is trying to do here, I suspect, is trying to demotivate some folks, number one. Number two, try to see to it that people that might otherwise go to a no labels candor to Robert Kennedy jr. Stick with him out of the sense that the alternative is so noxious and terrible.
>> Reihan, has in effect the country moved on from the so-called racial reckoning we were all talking about after the murder of George Floyd?
>> I think there’s a broad sense that racial reckoning involved smuggling in ideological ideas that weren’t about diversity but rather were about imposing ideological uniformity. When you're looking at DEI bureaucracies, what really is noxious about them is that they actually don’t respect all sorts of diversity, including viewpoint diversity, including the fact that, look, in some cases you have groups that are over represented, and that can be okay. You know, the point that j.d. Vance was making about the Dallas mavericks is that it can be good and healthy and reasonable in some domains to have over representation —
>> Ridículo. Ridículo.
>> What she said.
>> You can say it's ridiculous, you can make that assertion, but the fact that I’m one second-generation Asian American on a panel of four, I’m massively over represented. But I think it is reasonable to say you will judge people based on merits. And
>> Excuse me.
>> When you are looking at high performance organizations —
>> Excuse me, excuse me. This is the burden and I can’t tell you how infuriating I find it. This is the burden that always comes with representation. The idea is that because you are a person of color, suddenly it is — you are only there because it is some noblesse oblige, because some white guilt put you there, because there was some dei initiative and you can’t win either way you look at it. What infuriates me is you look at the Claudine Gay thing and everyone is talking about dei. This woman cannot win or lose. If she is there —
>> I’m happy to talk about Claudine Gay, please.
>> Let me finish. If she is there, it is because of dei. That they put her there because she is black. If she loses and they kick her out it is because she was never good enough to be there in the beginning. You can’t win in this situation.
>> Yeah, but —
>> And it is infuriating as a person of color to constantly have this cudgel put on our heads.
>> I get the argument you can’t win but you can’t have it both ways. You can’t celebrate and tout someone was hired and it is a wonderful thing to expand diversity and Harvard went full tilt to talk about hiring the first black woman. and then say all of the sudden-
>> The first black person, it wasn't even the first black woman, it was the first black person.
>> I don’t care. The point is. She was caught obviously plagiarizing. those are the facts.
>> It was ideological, very well-funded —
>> The motives of the attack don’t change the fact she plagiarized.
>> Oh, come on.
>> When I disagree with you, cara —
>> When somebody fails who is white and is a man.
>> You mean like the president of Stanford —
>> Yes, when nobody — in fact, there are books written about this, fail and then come back. You know, look at —
>> Pivot.
>> Pivot, exactly.
>> Nice way to get into your podcast.
>> Thank you. Pivot, and then when a person of color fails all of a sudden it is an indictment of an entire system that the right doesn't like.
>> This is so ridiculous. She was a graduate of exeter and Stanford with a ph.d. from Harvard.
>> Do you know why? You have to be excellent to get where she is.
>> Second generation Haitian American who came from a family who dominated the concrete industry in haiti. She was not the wretched of the earth. She was someone who should be judged on her merits.
>> Wait, I'm sorry, Black people have to be wretched? Is that what you're saying?
>>She was selected because she established the office of diversity, equity and inclusion and belonging at Harvard. She presided over a steep decline in the free speech climate, and she also —
>> All right.
>> — targeted minority professors who dissented from her perspective. That was a problem.

McCarthy Is Out: Right or Wrong Decision?
Led by Rep. Matt Gaetz, and backed by the entire Democratic side and a total of eight Republicans, Kevin McCarthy has been stripped of the speaker title.
Some say good riddance. McCarthy didn't hold the line on spending, and worked with the Democrats to advance a clean Continuing Resolution that gave Biden and the Democrats too much. Their argument is pretty clear: A change has to come. This spending madness has to stop.
Some say that the intransigence of Gaetz and others led to the need for a clean CR; that it is Gaetz who worked with Democrats to upend the Republican Party. And, what's the plan now? Is anyone thinking of the future?
Either way, McCarthy is out. Is it the right decision, or a wrong decision?

Public Sq. CEO to Help Laid-Off Bud Light Employees Find Work
Public Sq. CEO Michael Seifert is offering to help Bud Light employees who have been laid off by the company, InBev.
Things for Bud Light have been spiraling out of control since they decided to engage a partnership with "trans influencer" Dylan Mulvaney. By adding politics to their marketing, Bud Light alienated millions of customers. They've responded by switching to other beers, causing Bud Light to lose its spot as best-selling beer in America.
InBev has sold off other brands due to the calamity.
Caught in the middle were Bud Light workers who have done nothing wrong, but find themselves out of a job, regardless. Seifert is trying to help. Catch the interview and share it far and wide.

Is Biden Committing the US to War In Israel AND Ukraine?
President Biden's speech to the nation clearly stated that the US supports Israel, and that Hamas is a terrorist organization. However, he was desperate to tie support for Israel with support for Ukraine.
Americans see a distinction between these two fronts.
Maj. Mike Lyons (Ret. US Army) discusses the differences between the two areas - including that Hamas is holding American citizens hostage! - and whether American interests are served by being further involved.
Also, the state of the US military has been an open question in recent years. What can our military handle?

Judge Smacks Down the FDA over Cigar Regulations
It's not just a win, it's a HUGE win for the cigar industry. Judge Amit Mehta, who just last year declared regulations from the Food and Drug Administration on the cigar industry "arbitrary and capricious," has now dismissed the Deeming Rule the FDA attempted to put in place.
The Deeming Rule stated that cigars can be regulated by the FDA just like cigarettes are. Of course, anyone who smokes premium cigars can tell you how insane that is. And as the host of the largest cigar and bourbon review radio program in the United States, Tony Katz can explain it better than most.
Josh Habursky, Deputy Executive Director of the Premium Cigar Association and Glynn Loope, State Advocacy Director of the Premium Cigar Association, explain what this rule means for the industry, for your local cigar lounge and for any small business dealing with onerous regulations.

GOP Fails Again, and Why Is Trump Forgiving Bud Light?
I have no idea why President Trump thinks Bud Light should be forgiven for their radical ad campaign with so-called influencer Dylan Mulvaney (who is a man, not a woman.)
The hired a VP who hated the brand, and the people who drank it. They attacked their users with obscene politics, and they haven't remotely come close to apologizing. So why is Trump trying to make nice with them?
ALSO: The GOP fails to impeach Secretary Mayorkas. Of course they did. Failing at the basics is what they do best!
PLUS: EV's are not going away, but the market is clear: Hey Elitists! The people can't afford this stuff!

If The Economy Is Getting Better, Why Is Everything So Damn Expensive?
The Biden Administration is crowing about the drop in inflation. Don't get me wrong, the CPI report wasn't bad...but it was far from great. But ask the White House, and they will tell you that "Bidenomics" is working, that President Biden is a genius, that the American economy is roaring.
If that's true, then why is everything so damn expensive? Food, housing, air travel....all crazy high. The auto industry still suffers. Major companies are still conducting layoffs. Does this feel like an economy on the rise?
Americans for Prosperity’s Vice President of Government Affairs Akash Chougule joins Tony to break down what is happening to Midwest Main Street, how it differs from the "reality" on Wall Street and why everyday Americans are not celebrating.

FBI Dir. Wray Refuses to Answer if FBI Had ‘Confidential Human Sources’ in the Crowd on Jan. 6th
BIGGS: "Former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund reportedly has asserted that the protest crowd was filled with federal agents. Are you aware of his assertion?”
WRAY: “I am not.”
BIGGS: “Would, you agree with him that it was filled with federal agents on January six.”
WRAY: “I would really have to see more closely exactly what he said and get the full context of the able to evaluate”
BIGGS: “how many agents were actually agents or Human resources were present in the Capitol complex and vicinity on January six?”
WRAY: “Again, it’s gonna get confusing because it depends on when we were deployed and responded to the breach that occured."
BIGGS: "Sure you’re talking you’re- You and I both know what we’re talking different things here and please don’t don’t distract here because we’re focusing on that were there in an undercover capacity on January six. How many were there.”
WRAY: “Again, I am not sure that I can give you that number. As I sit here, I’m not sure there were undercover agents on scene.”
BIGGS: “I find that kind of a remarkable statement director at this point- you don’t know whether there and undercover federal agents, FBI agents in the crowd or in the capital on January 6th. “
WRAY: “I say that because I want to be very careful, there been a number of court filings related to some of these topics and I want to make sure that I should stick with-"
BIGGS: "I understand that, but I just I thought I heard you say you didn’t know whether there were FBI, agents or informers answer humans sources in the capital or in this in vicinity on January 6th. Did I misunderstand you, I thought that’s what you said.
WRAY: I referred very specifically to undercover agents.
BIGGS: yeah, and so are you acknowledging? Then there were undercover agents?
WRAY: "As I sit here right now, I do not believe there were undercover agents-"
BIGGS: "Any assets? Did you have any assets present that day in the crowd?"
WRAY: "When it comes to what you're calling assets, or what we would call confidential human sources, that's a place where, again, I want to be careful, much as I said in response to an earlier question- there are court filings that I think speak to this that I'm happy to make sure we get to you, assuming they're not. under seal, and that can better answer the question than I can as I sit here."
******
ISSA: “How many individuals were either FBI employees or people that the FBI had made contact with or in the January 6th entry of the Capitol and surrounding area?”
Wray: “So, I really need to be careful here talking about where we have or have not used confidential human sources — “
ISSA: “Was there one or more — was there one or more individuals that would fit that description on January 6 that were in or around the Capitol?”
Wray: “I believe there is a filing in one of the January 6 cases that can provide a little more information about this and I’m happy to see if we can follow back up with you and provide that — “
ISSA: “I just want an answer was there one or more. I mean, you would know if there was at least one individual who worked for the FBI who entered the Capitol on that day.”
Wray: “I can’t — again, I just can’t speak to that here, but I’m happy to get the court filing that — “
ISSA: “Look, it’s been two years and you’re now — you’ve now come before us. The gentleman asked these questions, makes all kinds of insinuations, and you — you nod your head yes, and then I ask you simply was there one or more, and you won’t answer that. So I’m going to make the assumption that there was more than one, more than five, more than 10, and that you’re ducking the question because you don’t want to answer for the fact that you had at least one and somehow missed understanding that some of the individuals were very dangerous and that there were others inciting individuals to enter the Capitol after others broke windows. So, I’m just going to move on because I think it is time to move on past January 6. I just — it seems that the other side won’t.”

The Fight For Texas! Is This Economy Getting Better? And Does Nikki Think she can Win without Money?
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is taking a stand against the Biden Administration, and their failures at the border. And Governors across America are coming to Abbott's side, and defending his actions.
Is this fight about to get messy? And is there a Constitutional Crisis in the offing?
ALSO: The GDP grew at 3.3%. That is an incredibly good rate. That number should make Americans feel better that the economy is trending in the right direction.
But is it? Because the latest news shows inflation coming down, but the last CPI showed inflation up to 3.9%.
Dr. Matt Will, economist at the University of Indianapolis, has the breakdown and the warnings: Look out for credit card debt and commercial real estate issues.
PLUS: Amb. Nikki Haley just lost her big Democrat donor. How does she hang on until South Carolina? And why is New HampshireGov. Chris Sununu saying winning S.C. isn't important?

Trump Wins Big In Court, But Will It Be Enough To Keep Him on the Ballot?
Lawsuits in several states have attempted to keep President Donald Trump off the ballot. Their argument is predicated on the 14th Amendment, which states that states no person can hold high office that, "shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same."
The Left claims that President Trump engaged an insurrection against the United States.
Yet, court after court (the latest being in Michigan,) has ruled that this argument does not fly.
It's a big win for Trump. But will it stop those who want to keep him from running for president again?
Cornell Law Professor William Jacobson explains. Plus, what is the latest antisemitic madness happening on college campuses.

Maj. Mike Lyons: 'Hamas Wants Israel To Start The Ground War'
Iran's Foreign Minister threatens the United States and Israel at the United Nations. Israel has already declared war. If they find an Iran connection to the Hamas terrorist attack, they will respond.
Ret. US Army Major Mike Lyons explains why Israel is not bluffing with their intentions to destroy Hamas. They are at war.
What is a "disproportionate" response to terrorism? If Israel is all in, why delay the ground invasion?

Is This Border Deal a Big Mess? Yeah, It Is.
The border deal put forth by a "bi-partisan" group of senators is a big mess. In less than 24 hours, everyone from every side had their opinion already decided. But the legislation is over 370 pages! NONE OF THESE PEOPLE EVER READ THE DAMN THING!
What we do know? Trusting the Biden Administration is a big mistake. And trusting Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy? Also a mistake. What do we know about the bill so far, and is there anything here that we should like?
ALSO: Maj. Mike Lyons (Ret., U.S. Army) breaks down the Biden Administration response to Iran. We hit targets, or so we are told. But did we remind them of what happens when they kill Americans? Were there actual consequences to their actions? Maj. Lyons talks "proportionality" and what it really means.
PLUS: The Grammys took place last night. While you may have not watched, and there was plenty of progressive nonsense to go around, there was also some actual music. Maybe because those who delivered were from a generation of actual musicians.

Biden: ‘Name Me A Single Objective We’ve Ever Set Out to Accomplish That We’ve Failed On'
Biden: “Important thing I want to say today is thank you, America. Thank you, Americans. We’ve faced some tough times in recent years, but you, the American people, didn’t give up. You’re the ones getting up every single day going to work. You’re the ones taking the risks opening the doors, hiring workers, fulfilling dreams, and all we hear from our friends on the other side of the aisle is what they claim is what’s wrong with America. Let me tell you, let me tell you, they’re telling us America’s failing — failing. They’re dead wrong. They’re dead wrong. America isn’t failing. America is winning. And I’ve said a thousand times [Applause] — I’ve said a thousand [Applause] times, a thousand times, there is no quit in America. Name me a single objective we’ve ever set out to accomplish that we’ve failed on. Name me one in all of our history, not one."
