Did they mean for Stargate Command to be THAT easily compromised? Really?
Don't forget our Facebook! https://www.facebook.com/SacredCowShipyards
And, honestly, don't get me wrong. I do love me some Stargate SG1. But after having watched a lot of it over the past few months, that gate room REALLY pisses me off.

Since it's longer than it is tall, isn't "Shaft of Autumn" more appropriate than "Pillar of Autumn"?
Yes, I took a ship from a game where the whole point is not, in fact, inter-ship combat, or even the ships themselves, but rather first-person shooting. You can't even /drive/ the Pillar of Autumn in Halo, but it's still a cool ship.
Even if it does have a bizarrely long racetrack sticking out of its forehead.
Don't forget we have a Facebook page now! https://www.facebook.com/SacredCowShipyards/
Pretty sure that's not supposed to look like that.
Apologies for this week's non-episode. I think everyone involved would have very much preferred if I did actually have the time to give you a proper ship rundown.
The Facebook page is here, since I can't actually add external links to videos, apparently: https://www.facebook.com/SacredCowShipyards Don't look for much there except reposting the videos here, and, in fact, given how utterly nightmarish Facebook's page interface is, please continue commenting here, as you've always done.

The Grocery-Getter of the Star Trek Universe, aka the Type 6 Shuttlecraft
There's a Facebook page now! https://www.facebook.com/SacredCowShipyards
-----
Yeah, it's blocky.
Yeah, it's slow.
Yeah, it has no weapons.
Yeah, it's... not really attractive at all.
Yeah, it doesn't have a transporter.
Yeah, it doesn't even have an airlock.
... wait, where was I going with this?

I'll admit that talking about the Arrival heptapod ship is definitely a case of "low hanging fruit"
So these guys fly halfway across the galaxy to ask for our help, and act like jerks.
Got it.
Naturally the clip and photos are from the movie. I disavow any ownership of them, because I wouldn't want my name attached to /that/.

All Greek Star Wars shuttles are stupid. (They're called Abecederian? Really?)
Most photos came from Wookieepedia: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Main_Page or the relevant Star Wars movies / shows / etc.
The size comparison chart came from https://www.st-minutiae.com, which is a pretty awesome site.
And, yes, all these shuttles are stupid. Deal with it.

How Space: Above and Beyond's ISSCV kicks your favorite transport's arse (funny name aside)
Most photos and the video came from the aforementioned TV series, Space: Above and Beyond.
It aired in the '90s.
That's why the resolution is crap.
Most of the rest was drawn by Georg Joergens: http://www.rz-journal.de/Gjoergens/

Given Starfleet represents the whole of Terra, "Starbase Yorktown" was a really weird name choice
I love Star Trek and I am a life-long Trekkie, but even I have to admit that the Starbase Yorktown makes utterly no sense, at all, anywhere, at any point.
Most photos, and the video clip, are naturally borrowed from Star Trek: Beyond.

Is the Razor Crest the best-designed ship in Star Wars?
Yes.
Yes it is.
Someone actually sat down and thought about their spaces, what they needed, and how make it all fit together.
Most images came from the Mandalorian series from Disney+. You should watch it.
I wish the Nightflyer would night-fly off into a sun. Ironically. You can do better, SyFy.
No.
Really.
I'm not kidding.
It's that bad.
Most photos came from the SyFy / Netflix series.

Yes, this ship is THAT cool
Most images, and the video clip, came from either the Babylon 5 show directly. Additional images from:

If you haven't watched B5, you really, really should.

I don't honestly hate the ships. But they could have been so much better, with very little effort. But that's true of a lot of Star Wars.
