We might experience division when we follow Jesus since it is a confliclt between the two kingdoms: kingdom of the light and kingdom of the darkness. This devision is temporary and eventually, we will have peace in Jesus and in Jesus alone.

We are busy every day. We are worried about something now and then. Food, clothes? Is this what life is supposed to be? God reminds us that we are more valuable than birds and we need to seek his kingdom, and all the other needs will be fulfilled.

Jesus is the master, we are his servants. He might come back anytime and we need to be ready for him at any moment.

Rich but fool, what an interesting combination? Rick but poor in front God? How can we be wise then or rich then?

- No hypocrisy - Fear God - Acknowledge Jesus during persecution - never blaspheme Holy Spirit - Submit to Holy Spirit

We need practice what we preach. Purity in the inside is more important than the outside.

Ep 48: Luke 11, Part 4, The Lamp of the Body

Jesus drove out demons by his power, demonstrating he is the Son of God. We need to listen to God's word and also obey it. Holy, holy, holy

Jesus teaches us how to pray: “‘Father,[a] hallowed be your name, your kingdom come.[b] 3 Give us each day our daily bread. 4 Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.[c] And lead us not into temptation.[d]’”

Every time we are busy, let's think about "but few things are needed—or indeed only one." Every time when we or other people complain, let's think about "but few things are needed—or indeed only one." So that we can become less busy, so that we can stay focused, so that we will not complain when we feel too busy. We can all serve the Lord in a different way with wholeheartedness： ”Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind。“

Love God and Love our neighbor as yourself. But who is our neighbor? Our family, friends, community, club, circle, or church? Via this parable, Jesus shows us the good behavior of the good Samaritan and the precise definition of neighbor: any one who are in need in our lives, especially those who are in need of salvation.

This is a narrative of how Jesus sent the first 72 evangelists to preach the Gospel and the kingdom of God.

Two points are made by Jesus. Living people is more important than dead people because they can still have the opportunity to be saved. Following Jesus needs to look forward not look backward.

As Christians, Jesus's followers, we should not fall behind Jesus, go atray, but equally important, we should not get ahead of Jesus either. We need to know our main mission is bring people to Jesus for salvation, not for judgement until Jesus comes again.

Ep 39: Luke 9, Part 6, Jesus Predicts His Death a Second Time

Sin makes us more vulnerable to demon possession. We need to be pure and holy to avoid demon. Jesus is healer, not only for the flesh, but more for our souls and spirits. We need to know more about Jesus, who he is and what he has done for us. We need to learn from Jesus, never being distracted from the purpose of our life - Serve God and serve Jesus.

Through the transfiguration, we see the the deity of Jesus. The conversation in the transfiguration also confirmed the death and resurrection of Jesus was the salvation of us.

We all need to know who Jesus, not just Peter. He is the way, and the truth and the life. Only through Him, we can enter the kingdom of God. Deny ourselves, carry out cross daily and most importantly, follow Him.
