Sneaky Seagull Swipes Snack from Unsuspecting Woman: A Very Sneaky Incident
A seagull was seen stealthily hovering over an unsuspecting woman in Etretat, France, before swooping in and stealing a bite of her ice cream. Video recorded by Fernando Bueno on August 6 shows the seagull’s sneaky heist, as the bird successfully snatches a bite from out of the woman’s hand and escapes. “The woman didn’t notice at first what happened,” Bueno told Storyful, as someone else had to point out the seagull flying above her. Bueno added that he was ready to capture this moment as he had watched the seagull unsuccessfully attempt to steal food from other people. “It’s a hot day and ice cream is always delicious, even for a smart seagull,” Bueno said.

Person dressed as the Grinch taunts woman who allegedly faked Christmas burglary
Florida mother Shana Hudson was arrested after she allegedly lied about having her Christmas gifts stolen, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said.
According to the sheriff’s office, Shana Hudson, 39, of Lehigh Acres, reported a burglary on November 19, saying property, including “recently purchased Christmas gifts”, was “stolen from inside her home, leaving her kids without gifts this holiday season.”
Given the apparent unfortunate circumstances, East District Criminal Investigations Detectives coordinated a donation from the local American Legion Auxiliary to surprise Hudson with new gifts.
However, in a “Grinch-like turn of events”, the sheriff’s office said a tipoff led detectives to evidence indicating that Hudson had fabricated the burglary. The “stolen” presents were found hidden in the home of one of Hudson’s relatives, the sheriff’s office said.
“This pathetic behavior is unacceptable, especially given the circumstances this holiday season,” said Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno. “This woman took advantage of the system and is now paying the price for her selfish choices.”
This video, released on the law enforcement’s Facebook page, shows an individual dressed as the Grinch taunting Hudson while officers escort her to a van following her arrest.

Heart warming rescue: Ohio men save deer caught on rope
Three Ohio men sprang into action and rescued a distressed deer with its antlers stuck in a rope in February, footage from the incident shows. Footage recorded by Stephen Baldridge shows himself, his brother Josh, and a third man finding a deer with its antlers stuck in a rope partially suspended from a tree. The deer is visibly distressed, jumping and swinging back and forth in an attempt to free itself. “We seen the deer swinging in the air. At first we thought we were just seeing things, then we approach the deer and it was speeding back and forth,” Baldridge told Storyful. “My brother Josh Baldridge was waiting for the perfect time to grab the deer to set it free because that’s what’s right, to give animals the same chance hunters have,” he continued. “Josh found the perfect moment to trap the deer so it could be set free,” Baldridge said. The footage shows the animal escaping to freedom after the men intervened.

Aggressive bull elk charges truck in Colorado encounter #shorts
A man was fixing his truck in Estes Park, Colorado, when he had a close encounter with an agitated bull elk in early September. Servando Talamantes recorded this video of the elk ramming his vehicle as he stood on the other side of his truck. It can then be heard bugling. According to the National Park Service (NPS), September is the start of the fall rut, or mating season, a time when elk may be seen at lower elevations, and a time in which male elk, or bulls, are more aggressive.

Deep-sea drama: Octopus clash creates tangled 'mess of arms' 🐙🌊
Two battling octopus got themselves into a right tangle recently, in what the diver who witnessed the “mess of arms” said could have been a “fight over territory” or “lovers’ tiff”. Victoria woman Jules Casey, who frequently posts videos of what she sees below the waves to her OneBreathDiver Instagram account, recorded the footage of the fight. Casey said she see could only see one octopus when she arrived, “but it wasn’t long before the second one revealed itself as it fought to escape the pipe it had settled in”. “Check out the holding of one arm at the end as one leaves,” she said, describing octopuses as “way more intelligent and complex than we know.”

Dramatic moment cop pulls elderly woman from burning vehicle
A Michigan public safety officer is receiving praise for his heroic actions that saved an elderly woman trapped in a burning car on December 16 in Macomb County.
According to the Fraser Department of Public Safety (DPS), Officer Cameron Rieper jumped into action to rescue a woman in her 80s from the burning vehicle, which had veered off the road and into a ditch.
Director of Public Safety Samantha Kretzschmar said the driver was conscious but appeared disoriented. Rieper helped the woman to safety, and within 20 to 30 seconds, the vehicle was completely engulfed in flames, Kretzschmar said.
Kretzschmar said the department would honour Rieper in an upcoming ceremony. Rieper has been with Fraser DPS for “about six years” and “is such a sweet guy and just very humble,” Kretzschmar said.

#prague #worldnews
Students gathered on Thursday evening (December 21) to pay homage to the victims of the shooting at a Prague university and lit candles outside the historic headquarters of Charles University.
An American student at Charles University, Justin Douglas Hart, recalled the moment a classmate broke the news of the ongoing shooting and said he felt "incredible discomfort."'
"It could have been any faculty," he added. Alongside Hart was Czech student Anna Marie Newkirova, who said she still struggles to understand what happened.
A 24-year-old Czech student shot dead his father, then killed 14 people and wounded 25 others at Prague's Charles University on Thursday before possibly killing himself, police said, marking the country's worst-ever mass shooting.

Drone footage from Western Australia shows the moment a squid spewed ink at a hammerhead shark in a vain attempt to get away. David Alphonso said he captured this footage off the coast of Dunsborough in Western Australia. Alphonso said he noticed the shark swimming in circles and assumed the shark was looking for food. “All of a sudden I saw the squid pop up, it didn’t take long for the hammerhead shark to notice it too”, Alphonso said. In his video, the shark apparently bites into the squid right as the cephalopod releases the ink, creating a dark cloud in the water.

MASSIVE record breaking Burmese Python caught in Florida 🐍
A massive Burmese python was captured in Ochopee, Florida, on November 3, and was recorded as the second-heaviest ever caught in the state, local news reported. Video by Holden Thomas Hunter shows the full size of the python, as it’s seen almost stretching from one side of the road to the other. “It took five grown men to sit on top of this thing just to get this animal controlled,” Hunter told Storyful. Local news reported that the python was taken to the “Conservancy of Southwest Florida, where it measured 17 feet, 2 inches long and weighed in at a whopping 198 pounds.” Burmese pythons are an invasive species to south Florida, local news said. Swimmers come face to face with MASSIVE whale shark
THIS is the spectacular moment a huge whale shark was seen filter-feeding while swimming alongside tourists on a beach in the Philippines. Amazed onlooker Chatty Malinao-Montizo captured the stunning marine animal feeding up close in Oslob, Cebu City, the Philippines, on November 20. The footage shows the gentle creature opening its wide mouth to suck in water, filtering it to capture plankton and other microscopic marine life beneath the water's surface. Fish swim around in the clear water, and another whale shark can be seen swimming with the tourists. Whale sharks are the largest fish in the world, reaching up to 60 feet in length. They feed on tiny plankton and other small marine organisms by swimming with their mouths open. These gentle giants are known to pose no threat to humans.

Wolves in the Wild
Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) experts released five gray wolves onto public land in Grand County in a historic effort to create a permanent, self-sustaining wolf population and fulfill voter approval to re-establish gray wolves in Colorado.
The gray wolves were captured in Oregon where CPW veterinarians and biologists evaluated them to determine if they were fit for relocation to Colorado. Criteria for release included the age, sex, health and body condition of each animal.
Each gray wolf was weighed and measured. Staff collected genetic material – tissue and blood samples – before fitting each with a GPS satellite collar for tracking upon release by CPW staff. Then, the wolves were given vaccines and were placed in crates and flown to Colorado for release back into the wild.

Moment Hamas commander admits terrorists use kids to handle EXPLOSIVES
A Hamas commander told Israeli forces the terror group uses children to deliver explosives and spot IDF tanks.
Mustafa Alkhair, commander of Hamas' Zeitun Battalion, revealed how the terror organisation even uses their own kids to protect themselves amid the brutal war in Gaza.
Captured on December 8, Israeli forces have been questioning Alkhair about the group's brutal methods of child recruitment.
When asked by the interrogator about the possibility of a child dying, Alkhair shrugged and said the terrorists use their kids "in order not to risk your own life".
He told Israeli interrogators they use children they know and trust to report back on IDF presence in the area.
