What Happened To Friday The 13th Part 3-D?
This sequel in the Friday the 13th franchise would be in 3D, which is to say, A LOT. The preview also shows another detail that, at the time, would be innocuous, but looking back, was the catalyst for what many people see as the key to the series. This is the first movie where Jason gets his iconic hockey mask. Put on your trusty red and blue glasses as we push this film right into your lap and find out what happened to Friday the 13th, Part 3, in 3D!

What REALLY Happened To The Entity?
Possession is a relatively common topic on this channel and show and that’s probably because it’s something that has been recorded and pushed as factual by the people claiming to be possessed or investigators for a long time. It generally falls under the scope of what he said/she said, with most of the presented evidence as fact being very up for interpretation. The Entity is an entertaining and original movie that pushed some boundaries, but how close is it to the purported true events that happened to Doris Bither? Keep your eyes and ears open for the signs of a vengeful spirit as we find out what REALLY happened to The Entity.

The Gate II: Highlighting This Overlooked Sequel
A black sheep can be seen as bad at the time of its release (or even now) and needs someone to speak of the positives for the flick. The Gate II is, well, it’s all of that. It’s a mostly unseen and unknown movie in a short horror series that is not really loved by the people who have seen it. With the first movie in the series being a spooky kids classic, I’m here to tell you that not only is the Gate 2 worthy of the Gate moniker and worth your time and attention.

What Happened To Seed Of Chucky?
The added dash of timely humor mixed with the stellar performances of series newcomer Jennifer Tilly and franchise vet Brad Dourif struck the right chord with audiences, becoming a solid financial success, earning a worldwide total of 50.7 million against its 25 million dollar budget. The new comedic element seemed to push the Killer Doll series in the right direction. And as most slasher icons do, Chucky returned in a new sequel. As outlandish and humorous as Bride of Chucky was, its successor, Seed of Chucky, went further off the rails and possibly off a cliff. But did it go too far? Find out What Happened to Seed of Chucky.

MaXXXine Movie Review: Does Ti West's Trilogy End On A High Note?
Ti West’s MaXXXine is the third instalment of a career-defining trilogy for the director and his star, Mia Goth. The actress received some of the best notices of her career for the last film in the series, Pearl, and her double role in X made her a genre icon. MaXXXine is a star vehicle for her through and through, but while she delivers a good performance again, the film can’t help but pale compared to its somewhat scrappier predecessors

What Happened To House Of Wax?
Dark Castle Entertainment produced some interesting flicks back in the 2000s. From Ghost Ship to Gothika, they were hoping to bring back the fun of the old William Castle movies. But their biggest success came when they took on a Vincent Price classic and gave it their unique twist. From casting Paris Hilton to actual onset fires, you won't believe what happened to House of Wax.

The Running Man: What Happened To This Adaptation?
Today's story, now associated with Stephen King, was originally released under his pseudonym, Richard Bachman, known for darker tales. With Edgar Wright set to create a new, more faithful adaptation, it’s timely to discuss this dystopian horror. Though a staple in Arnold Schwarzenegger's action-packed filmography from 1987 to 1991, it's not typically seen as a prime Stephen King adaptation. While not strictly horror, both the book and film present horrific scenarios. It's an entertaining watch with notable front and behind-the-camera efforts. But how does it compare to the source material, and what does King think of it? Place your bets as we explore this adaptation!

A Nightmare On Elm Street (2010) Is The Worst Remake Of All Time
We've dredged through some truly awful dreck in this series but this may just be my most hated. Because to take a character and franchise as beloved as Freddy Krueger and Nightmare On Elm Street and mess it up to such a degree takes a level of "I hate money" that I didn't even think was possible. There was a lot that went wrong with this film, from a lead who didn't want to be there to a villain who hated the franchise; nearly every element was working against it. Which is why A Nightmare On Elm Street (2010) is Awfully Good.

How Mortal Kombat Redefined Video Game Movies
Look, the history of video game movies, both at the beginning of its run and currently, is spotty at best. You had bad then and you have bad now and while you can get some more indie games being made into movies or at least studios taking more chances with what ips they decide to use now, back in the early 90s it was only the best of the best and the most popular that would be turned into movies. Mortal Kombat came along and changed everything, at least momentarily! And boy, is it hard not to scream that at the top of my lungs whenever I say it.

The Watchers Review: Shyamalans Sure Do Love Their Twists
There's no denying that there's a tremendous amount of pressure on writer/director Ishana Shyamalan with her debut feature. Her father's reputation will always follow her, but let's not pretend that's entirely a bad thing. Unlike many first-time directors, she was able to hone her craft as a 2nd Unit Director on many M Night productions. This allows her to skip some of the steps common for most young filmmakers and avoid easy trappings. If there's one thing that's clear after experiencing The Watchers, we most definitely have two Shyamalans out in the world, for better or worse. And it goes without saying that I'll be avoiding spoilers as much as possible in this review as I think the fresher you go into this, the better.

3 From Hell: A Lazy Revival Of The Firefly Clan
While The Devil’s Rejects ends rather violently, fans have wondered if he would ever return to that world. But that would be impossible, right? Fourteen years later, Rob Zombie finally showed us how the Firefly family could return after a pretty solidifying end. And the answer is, well, pretty damn lazy.

What Happened To The Collection?
When The Collector was released in 2009, audiences had already moved on from overly violent films. Hell, I was one of them. Although it had poor reviews and a low box-office take, the movie eventually got a reappraisal and is deemed a cult classic with its smart take with a blend of home invasion films and torture porn. While it didn’t make blockbuster numbers, it exceeded its 3-million-dollar budget, leading filmmaker Marcus Dunstan to continue with his story. Today’s film not only had three times the budget of The Collector, it also has one of the craziest kill scenes for a wide-release movie. Watch out for random boxes and be wary of those blades in the underground rave as we discover what happened with The Collection.

Leprechaun In The Hood: Stoner Cinema At Its Finest
Take a seat, horror hounds, as The Leprechaun makes his rounds from grassy knolls and Irish springs to the streets on a hunt for bling. I can't stop rhyming since watching the 2000 film "Leprechaun in the Hood," a unique yet fitting entry in the franchise. The fifth movie in the series takes the wise-cracking Leprechaun to South Central, scheming and murdering his way to his golden flute. Fans of the series have varied opinions on its cheesiness, but most agree it's fun to watch with friends, especially when stoned. This film's existence and its audience make it worth discussing. The franchise began with the 1993 film starring Jennifer Aniston and shifted from pure horror to a mix of comedy and surrealism. Today, we follow the Leprechaun's first trip to South Central and his encounter with Ice-T's character. Roll one up, pour one up, and let's dive in. I'm Kier with JoBlo Horror Originals, and you're watching Deconstructing.

What Happened To Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)?
By the year 2017, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise had already produced sequels, remakes, prequels, prequels of the remakes, a 3D sequel, and Matthew McConaughey with a cybernetic leg. The story of the making of this particular requel, however, involves the dawn of the Covid-19 shutdowns, fired directors and trashed footage, rumors of disastrous test screenings, and a movie that somehow managed to anger people on both sides of the culture wars. A movie that so many of us love regardless: This is the story of what happened to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Ahem…2022.

Does House On Haunted Hill Stand The Test Of Time?
From one 1999 horror remake to another. After re-watching The Haunting with eyes that were both more critical and 25 years older, it got me thinking about the other remake that came out that year. The original was from a far less dark castle in Schlock and Gimmick Purveyor William Castle, and it starred Vincent Price as a man offering strangers money to stay in an allegedly haunted house for a night. While The Haunting failed on multiple levels to improve with age, how does House on Haunted Hill look after a quarter of a century? Does its cheesy yet graphic tone feel at home in the time of A24 and elevated horror, or should it forfeit its 1 million dollar check and leave the cursed grounds forever? Close the shutters, and let’s see if this movie stands the Test of Time!

Silent Rage: From Slasher Tropes To Chuck Norris
I remember seeing the Chuck Norris joke book in a Barnes and Noble store and leafing through it only to find a bunch of absolutely absurd and comically over the top things that Chuck Norris could and would do to you or what he kept behind his beard. Norris ended up with a couple of horror movies in his credits. Hellbound, which I’m still undecided on if I want to cover or not, and today’s movie, Silent Rage was a fun flick to revisit.
